This paper presents the growth response of 25 yr old Lebanon cedar (Cedrus libani A. Rich.) plantation to thinnings of different intensities in Isparta in western Turkey. The thinning intensity was measured by using the residual basal area (%) as parameter. In spring of 2005, three treatments were tested; light, moderate and heavy thinning with respectively 10, 25 and 35% of basal area removed. The statistical design of the experiment was a randomized incomplete block with two blocks and three treatments. Variables such as diameter at breast height (diameter) and height were measured. Growth rate ratios of diameter in moderately thinned and heavily thinned stands were 1.02 and 1.03, respectively. Basal area growth rates in moderately thinned and heavily thinned plots were 0.93 and 1.05, respectively. The largest values for the mean tree were observed with the heaviest thinning treatment. Absolute diameter increment was positively correlated with initial diameter in all plots. Relative diameter growth was negatively correlated with initial diameter. Growth rate interpretations were supported by analysis of variance using Duncan's test of range multiple. The results obtained show significant differences between treatments for tree height growth, for the two inventories carried out (2005, 2008). However diameter basal area and volume were no found between treatments for tree.  相似文献

In this study, three thinning treatments were applied on a 0.54 ha young oriental beech (Fagus orientalis Lipsky) stand (25-30 years old) in Karadag, Artvin in the fall of 1999. The treatments were: (1) no thinning, (2) light thinning, and (3) heavy thinning. Prior to thinning, the stand averaged 15000 trees ha(-1) and 40.0 m2 ha(-1) of basal area, with an average mean diameter of 5 cm. Thinning reduced stand basal areas to about 31.1 and 24.9 m2 ha(-1) for the light and heavy thinning treatments, respectively. After 3-years, diameter increment was the highest in heavily thinned stand and the lowest in unthinned stand. The increment in stand basal area was about 10, 18 and 27% in the unthinned, lightly thinned, and heavily thinned stands, respectively. Fine root biomass significantly decreased with thinning and thinning had no significant effects on soil pH and soil organic matter content.  相似文献

干旱胁迫对香蒲生长和叶绿素荧光参数的影响   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
采用野外调查方法,研究了不同土壤含水量条件下香蒲植株的形态、生物量、叶绿素含量和叶绿素荧光参数的变化。结果表明:(1)土壤含水量对香蒲株高影响显著,轻度、中度和重度干旱处理香蒲株高分别下降为对照(土壤水分始终饱和)的90.90%、68.19%和63.64%。(2)香蒲茎直径、叶长、叶宽和叶绿素含量均随土壤含水量的降低而呈递减趋势,枯叶率却明显增加。(3)不同土壤含水量条件下香蒲密度和生物量差异均达显著水平(P〈0.05)。轻度、中度和重度干旱组香蒲密度分别比对照下降41.67%、53.33%和66.67%;而对照香蒲单株生物量分别为轻度、中度和重度干旱组的2.25、5.54和7.45倍。(4)香蒲叶片最大光量子产量(Fv/Fm)和最大相对电子传递速率(Re,t,max)随土壤含水量的减少而明显降低。干旱降低了香蒲叶片光系统Ⅱ(PSⅡ)的光化学效率,抑制了香蒲的生长。  相似文献

We maintained a factorial nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) addition experiment for 11 years in a humid lowland forest growing on a relatively fertile soil in Panama to evaluate potential nutrient limitation of tree growth rates, fine-litter production, and fine-root biomass. We replicated the eight factorial treatments four times using 32 plots of 40 x 40 m each. The addition of K was associated with significant decreases in stand-level fine-root biomass and, in a companion study of seedlings, decreases in allocation to roots and increases in height growth rates. The addition of K and N together was associated with significant increases in growth rates of saplings and poles (1-10 cm in diameter at breast height) and a further marginally significant decrease in stand-level fine-root biomass. The addition of P was associated with a marginally significant (P = 0.058) increase in fine-litter production that was consistent across all litter fractions. Our experiment provides evidence that N, P, and K all limit forest plants growing on a relatively fertile soil in the lowland tropics, with the strongest evidence for limitation by K among seedlings, saplings, and poles.  相似文献

土地利用变化引起的水分条件变化反过来又会影响植被的生长,然而,森林-水分-植物生长之间相互作用关系的研究还很少。以香桂(Cinnamomum subavenium)人工林为例,在盐亭生态试验站开展观测,研究了无枯落物林地(FB)、有枯落物林地(FL)和裸地(BL)的水分动态(土壤水分、径流组成和径流量),比较了FB和FL样地树木高、基径、叶面积、比叶面积(SLA)、地上和地下生物量。研究结果表明:①FL样地的土壤含水量最高,其次是FB样地,而BL样地的土壤含水量最低;②地上径流展现了与土壤水分相反的趋势(FLFB〉BL),3个样地的总径流量则没有表现出一个明确的大小关系。在观测期间,BL、FB和FL的地表径流量分别为284.68、222.93和68.98cm,地下径流分别为57.83、134.00和289.52 cm,总径流量依次为343.16、356.93和358.35 cm;③在观测早期,FL样地和FB样地植物形态学特征、SLA以及地上和地下生物量均没有显著差异(p〉0.05)。在观测期末,虽然两个样地的基径和SLA无显著差异,然而其他指标差异极显著(p〈0.005)。在观测末期,除SLA外,FL样地植物的高、基径、叶面积、地上生物量和地下生物量分别高于FB样地,表明该样地植物生长条件更好。这些结果表明森林改善了自身的水分环境,而水分环境的改善又反过来促进了森林的生长,森林植被-水分条件的这种相互促进作用是森林系统生存策略的一种表现。  相似文献

整地施肥试验结果表明,全垦、带垦和穴垦三种整地方式以及施肥对尾叶按造林成活率和保存率均无明显的影响,成活率在95%-98.8%之间,保存率在92.1%-97.7%之间.整地能改变土壤性状,如土壤孔隙度全垦为57.88%。穴垦为49.42%;对林木生长有促进作用,但作用效果很快减少,如造林3年后的林木材积全垦、带垦分别为穴垦的136.4%和120.0%,5年后却分别下降到116.5%和108.3%.施肥可提高土壤养分,促进林木生长.造林5年后的调查结果,穴垦施肥林地的土壤有机质、速效N分别为15.447g/kg和49.230mg/kg,林木年均树高生长为1.25m;不施肥处理的有机质、速效N分别为10.388g/kg和35.715mg/kg,林木年平均生长量为0.35m;林木材积施肥处理的为不施肥的9.8倍.整地施肥还可提高林木叶片的养分含量.  相似文献

为比较投喂不同密度卤虫对灰海马幼体生长和存活的影响,共设3个卤虫无节幼体密度组[5(A)、10(B)和20(C)个/mL],用初始密度为2尾/L的灰海马幼体进行为期50 d的养殖研究.结果显示,总体而言,3个饵料密度对灰海马幼体的存活、生长有显著影响(P<0.05).在前10 d,3组海马间的成活率和生长速度差异均不显著(P>0.05);d20~50,B、C两组海马的成活率均显著高于A组(P<0.05),而B、C两组之间无显著差异(P>0.05).d 20时,B、C两组的生长速度显著快于A组(P<0.05);d 30往后,A、C两组的生长速度开始加快,随后3组海马生长速度间的差距进一步缩小,直至A组的体质量和体高超过B组和C组(P<0.05),而B、C两组间的差异显著性消失(P>0.05).随着投放卤虫密度的增加,各时间点水体的pH和溶氧含量呈显著下降的趋势(P<0.05);C组氨态氮含量显著高于A组和B组(P<0.05);除第24 h外,3组间亚硝态氮的含量差异不显著.综合结果表明,卤虫的最适投喂密度应随着灰海马的生长进行适时调整.从初孵至d 10,饵料密度以10个/mL最佳;从d 10起,将饵料密度上调至20个/mL;d 30后当海马密度降至0.5~1尾/L时,卤虫密度可降至10个/mL左右.图2表1参21  相似文献

桉树人工林间种山毛豆对提高土壤肥力和促进林木生长有极其显著的作用。间种5年后,林地表层土壤有机质和全量养分N、P、K的质量分数,分别为18.21kg/hm^2、0.85kg/hm^2、0.43kg/hm^2、1.30kg/hm^2,而对照林地分别为13.70kg/hm^2、0.56kghm^2、0.34kg/hm^2、1.10kg/hm^2;林地土壤有效养分含量显著提高;土壤结构和土壤水分物理性质显著改善;桉树生长量显著增加,刚果W5桉平均株高增长16%,平均胸径增长22%,单位面积的木材蓄积量增加59%。  相似文献

在广西坡耕地赤红壤下,研究不同施肥处理对养分利用效率、甘蔗生长、单茎重、生物产量、蔗茎产量、锤度及经济效益的影响,寻求低成本、高经济效益和养分利用率的施肥模式.设5个处理,(1)不施肥的甘蔗对照(CK),(2)甘蔗常规施肥(SF),(3)80%的甘蔗常规施肥量(SF80%),(4)60%的甘蔗常规施肥量(SF60%),(5)甘蔗常规施肥+农家肥(SF+N).(SF+N)处理的甘蔗茎粗、株高、地上部干物质含量、生物产量、甘蔗产量、锤度、经济效益均最高,分别为33.93 mm、368.6 cm、82.78%、149.92 t/ha、139.58 t/ha、18.83BX、69 792.45元/hm2,与其它各处理相比,差异均达极显著水平;与SF处理相比,SF60%处理提高了N、P利用率,分别提高了4.87%、1.63%;与SF处理相比,(SF+N)处理提高P利用率42.04%,SF80%处理提高K利用率4.12%.(SF+N)处理的甘蔗产量和经济效益均最高.甘蔗K利用率最高的是SF80%处理,甘蔗N利用率最高的是SF60%处理.因此,在广西较肥沃的坡耕地上种植甘蔗,可以适当的减少化肥施用量,配施农家肥可以提高产量和经济效益,也能提高养分利用率.  相似文献

The joint toxicity of Penta-BDE (Pe-BDE) and heavy metals including cadmium and copper on Daphnia magna (D. magna) was evaluated on the basis of determining the 48 h survival, antioxidative enzyme responses, and lipid peroxidation. The response was classified as additive, greater than additive, or less than additive by comparing the measured ??toxic units, TU?? with one. Based on the survival of D. magna, less-than-additive interactions were found in most of mixtures treatments. This may be attributed to the different toxicity mechanism between Pe-BDE and metals. Cu and Cd played a greater role in toxicity than what Pe-BDE did. As for the superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) activity, most response was less than additive. For the glutathione S-transferases (GST) activity, most of the greater-thanadditive responses were found in the Cu plus Pe-BDE treatments, but the additive responses occurred in Cd plus Pe-BDE treatments and binary metal treatments. For lipid peroxide levels, which were measured as malondialdehyde (MDA) levels, less-than-additive response occurred in the 50% Cd plus 50% Cu and ternary mixture treatments. Results suggested that Pe-BDE, Cd, and Cu could induce different patterns of antioxidant enzyme responses, such as antioxidant/prooxidant responses, depending on their capability to produce reactive oxygen species and antioxidant enzymes to detoxify them.  相似文献

模拟酸雨对华南典型树种生长及营养元素含量的影响   总被引:11,自引:2,他引:11  
我国是世界上的第3大酸雨区,而华南地区是我国酸雨比较严重的地区之一。越来越严重的酸雨将对森林生态系统林木生长产生负面影响。本文采用盆栽试验模拟研究酸雨对华南典型树种尾叶桉和马尾松幼树生长及营养元素含量的影响。酸雨水平有4个:pH6.8(CK)、pH5、pH4和pH3。幼树生长期间观察并记录其酸雨受害症状,每隔10a测量一次树高,4个月后统计生物量、叶面积情况,并分析植株样品中的N、P、K、Ca、Mg等元素的质量分数。试验结果表明,在不同酸度酸雨的协迫下,尾叶桉和马尾松幼苗表现出不同程度的受害症状,酸度越高受害越严重。酸雨显著地抑制尾叶桉和马尾松的树高生长,降低幼苗生物量,减少叶面积生长。与对照相比,生长四个月后,pH5、pH4和pH3处理分别导致尾叶桉生物量降低10.79%、19.21%和27.25%,马尾松降低12.78%、22.98%和28.70%。尾叶桉植株内P、Mg、Ca质量分数不同程度地受到酸雨的影响,而N、K质量分数不受酸雨影响;马尾松除了P元素以外,其它元素质量分数在各个酸雨处理之间差异不显著。  相似文献

长期以来通过整地造林去恢复重建植被已在横断山区干旱河谷广为采用,然而这样的实践是否能有效提高植被覆盖率并改善土壤水源涵养能力仍不清楚.选择岷江干旱河谷3个典型地段,调查了多年(7~16 a)后整地造林地上植被覆盖、土壤物理性质以及目的造林树种岷江柏(Cupressus chengiana S.Y. Hu)的保存、生长与结实状况,以评价干旱河谷乡土树种造林成效及造林后的生态效果.结果表明:(1)岷江柏在栽植多年后仍有大量死亡,保存率明显下降,造林16 a后仅为38%;(2)不同年代栽植的岷江柏在造林后2~6 a即开始旱现直径年生长量下降趋势;(3)造林带内乡土植被总盖度、灌木盖度、草本盖度、地衣苔藓盖度均低于保留带,因此等高线水平沟整地造林措施未能有效促进乡土植被发育;(4)造林带土壤水分物理性质也不如保留带,整地造林也没有有效改善土壤水源涵养能力.综合分析发现,整地造林多年后岷汀柏造林不仅没有达到岷江干旱河谷预期的生态恢复重建效果,甚至有加剧生态退化的趋势.因此认为:(1)规模化整地造林并不是有效的干旱河谷生态恢复和保护措施;(2)尽管岷江柏是乡土树种,但并不是干旱河谷植被恢复的适宜种.图3表3参29  相似文献

外来植物紫茎泽兰(Eupatorium adenophorum)入侵我国西南地区并造成了严重的生态灾难,通过研究Pb、Cd及其复合污染对紫茎泽兰生长及吸收富集特征的影响,有助于从生态学角度为紫茎泽兰的综合防控提供依据。采用模拟Pb、Cd污染土壤培养法研究了不同浓度Pb、Cd及其复合污染作用下紫茎泽兰的生长响应及重金属吸收、富集和迁移特征变化。结果表明:低浓度的Pb、Cd对紫茎泽兰的生长有促进作用,高浓度则表现出一定的抑制作用,生物量,株高,根长均明显减少。紫茎泽兰体内Pb、Cd吸收量与污染土壤具有良好的相关性,随处理浓度增加明显增大,极端浓度Pb、Cd胁迫下紫茎泽兰各器官Pb、Cd积累量与对照相比显著增加,1000 mg·kg-1处理时紫茎泽兰根、茎、叶的Pb质量分数均分别高达603.69、568.31、598.85 mg·kg-1;100 mg·kg-1 Cd处理时其根、茎、叶的Pb、Cd累积量依次为165.21、93.59、152.79 mg·kg-1。说明紫茎泽兰对Pb、Cd具有较好吸收累积及转运能力,可作为重金属污染地区的一种理想的修复植物。  相似文献

在紫色砂岩发育的严重侵蚀红壤上,开展尾叶桉施肥试验。结果表明,NPK复合肥的施用,明显地促进了尾叶桉的生长,但在未加人微量元素肥料的情况下,表现出明显的微量元素缺乏病症,致使尾叶桉分生组织畸变,上部枝条折断,成丛生状,顶端优势不明显。20个月生时,NPK+微肥处理的树高和胸径,与NPK处理的相比较,分别提高54.3%和104.9%,是对照无肥处理的3.64倍和1.58倍,表现出极显著的微量元素施肥效果。  相似文献

The differences in phenotypic plasticity between invasive (North American) and native (German) provenances of the invasive plant Lythrum salicaria (purple loosestrife) were examined using a multivariate reaction norm approach testing two important attributes of reaction norms described by multivariate vectors of phenotypic change: the magnitude and direction of mean trait differences between environments. Data were collected for six life history traits from native and invasive plants using a split-plot design with experimentally manipulated water and nutrient levels. We found significant differences between native and invasive plants in multivariate phenotypic plasticity for comparisons between low and high water treatments within low nutrient levels, between low and high nutrient levels within high water treatments, and for comparisons that included both a water and nutrient level change. The significant genotype x environment (G x E) effects support the argument that invasiveness of purple loosestrife is closely associated with the interaction of high levels of soil nutrient and flooding water regime. Our results indicate that native and invasive plants take different strategies for growth and reproduction; native plants flowered earlier and allocated more to flower production, while invasive plants exhibited an extended period of vegetative growth before flowering to increase height and allocation to clonal reproduction, which may contribute to increased fitness and invasiveness in subsequent years.  相似文献

通过 1997~ 2 0 0 0年对 32个林窗的连续观测调查 ,研究了滇西北玉龙雪山自然保护区云杉坪亚高山丽江云杉林林窗大小和林窗位置对自然更新幼苗存活和生长的影响 .4个生长季节的观测结果表明 :林窗与林下非林窗内的幼苗大小和幼苗存活数量差异明显 .林窗由小到大 ,单位面积内的自然更新苗木数量逐渐减少 ,小林窗中更新苗为大林窗的 5倍左右 ,而林下的更新苗很少 ,0 .2ind .10m-2 .中等林窗和小林窗内的幼苗数量在从南到中心到北的位置上几乎没有明显的差异 ;大林窗中存在由南到北的位置差异 ,更新幼苗数量逐渐减少 .从更新幼苗的生长来看 ,中等林窗内的幼苗 ,高度最大、生长最快 ,定居阶段的平均年高生长为 (7.1± 0 .5 )cma-1,小林窗次之 ,大林窗和林下幼苗个体最小 ,生长最慢 .进一步从林窗位置来看 ,中、小林窗幼苗大小几无位置差异 ,大林窗则由南到北 ,幼苗由大变小 .从幼苗存活数量和大小来看 ,中等林窗大小是丽江云杉幼苗更新的适宜面积 ,对该类型退化亚高山针叶林恢复提供了一定的参考 .图 4表 2参 2 3  相似文献

疏浚底泥重金属污染是限制底泥农用的主要因素。采用土培盆栽试验,研究了底泥与土壤按不同质量比混合,对芥菜生物量、重金属、硝酸盐、维生素C(Vc)、以及可溶性糖含量的影响;并研究了m(底泥):m(土壤)=2:1时,施加20mg·kg-1的碳酸钙对土壤有效态重金属含量影响,以及对芥菜生物量和品质的影响。结果表明:加入水库底泥可以显著促进芥菜的生长,随着底泥加入比例的增加,芥菜地上部生物量表现出先上升后降低的趋势,以m(底泥):m(土壤)=2:1芥菜地上部生物量最高,是对照的1.71倍。底泥处理均能显著地增加芥菜地上部重金属含量,其中以全底泥处理芥菜地上部鲜质量Zn、Cd质量分数最高,分别是53.3、0.595mg·kg-1,是食品卫生标准的2.67、2.98倍。施用底泥可以提高芥菜地上部Vc、降低其硝酸盐含量。在m(底泥):m(土壤)=2:1的土壤上,施入20mg·kg-1的碳酸钙处理可以显著降低土壤有效态重金属质量分数,有效态Cu、Zn、Pb、Cd质量分数分别下降到对照的58.7%、75.4%、59.8%、44.0%,从而有效地降低了芥菜对重金属的吸收积累,施加碳酸钙处理后,芥菜地上部Cu、Zn、Pb、Cd分别下降66.1%、83.2%、70.5%、53.1%。施加碳酸钙处理不仅可以促进芥菜生长还可以提高芥菜品质,与对照相比施加20mg·kg-1的碳酸钙处理后,芥菜生物量、可溶性糖质量分数、Vc质量分数分别增加了3.2%、6.0%、27.5%,而地上部硝酸盐质量分数降低了24.4%。  相似文献

通过连续 12 a田间小区定位试验 ,研究了在不同施肥方式下 ,连年稻 -麦轮作的滇中地区紫色冲积性潴育型水稻土土壤肥力及产量变化的规律。结果表明 :厩肥 (O)处理与厩肥配合氮磷处理 (ONP)12 a后土壤肥力明显高于对照和单施化肥的 NP、NK、PK、NPK等 4处理 ,土壤有机质含量增加 8.4 g/kg以上 ,速效氮、速效磷、速效钾含量增加 14.6 %以上 ,土壤容重下降 0 .16以上 ;单施化肥的处理 ,土壤肥力的变化与对照无显著差异。  相似文献

The aim of this study was to detect vegetation change and to examine trophic interactions in a Sphagnum-dominated mire in response to raised temperature and nitrogen (N) addition. A long-term global-change experiment was established in 1995, with monthly additions of N (30 kg x ha(-1) x yr(-1)) and sulfur (20 kg x ha(-1) x yr(-1)) during the vegetation period. Mean air temperature was raised by 3.6 degrees C with warming chambers. Vegetation responses were negligible for all treatments for the first four years, and no sulfur effect was seen during the course of the experiment. However, after eight years of continuous treatments, the closed Sphagnum carpet was drastically reduced from 100% in 1995 down to 41%, averaged over all N-treated plots. Over the same period, total vascular plant cover (of the graminoid Eriophorum vaginatum and the two dwarf-shrubs Andromeda polifolia and Vaccinium oxycoccos) increased from 24% to an average of 70% in the N plots. Nitrogen addition caused leaf N concentrations to rise in the two dwarf-shrubs, while for E. vaginatum, leaf N remained unchanged, indicating that the graminoid to a larger extent than the dwarf-shrubs allocated supplemented N to growth. Concurrent with foliar N accumulation of the two dwarf-shrubs, we observed increased disease incidences caused by parasitic fungi, with three species out of 16 showing a significant increase. Warming caused a significant decrease in occurrence of three parasitic fungal species. In general, decreased disease incidences were found in temperature treatments for A. polifolia and in plots without N addition for V. oxycoccos. The study demonstrates that both bryophytes and vascular plants at boreal mires, only receiving background levels of nitrogen of about 2 kg x ha(-1) x yr(-1), exhibit a time lag of more than five years in response to nitrogen and temperature rise, emphasizing the need for long-term experiments. Moreover, it shows that trophic interactions are likely to differ markedly in response to climate change and increased N deposition, and that these interactions might play an important role in controlling the change in mire vegetation composition, with implications for both carbon sequestration and methane emission.  相似文献

喀斯特地区土壤退化,植被定植更新困难,丛枝菌根真菌(Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi,AMF)具有增强植物养分吸收能力和抵抗逆境胁迫能力。研究喀斯特生境下植物与AMF共生效果,选择优势菌种促进喀斯特植被恢复,对于提高植物定植成活率具有重要作用。以豆科植物任豆(Zenia insignis)幼苗为试验材料,盆栽条件下,选取喀斯特优势菌种-摩西球囊霉(Funneliformis mosseae)、根内球囊霉(Rhizophagus intraradices),2种菌根真菌混合菌剂进行接种,培养180 d,研究贫瘠喀斯特土壤生境和养分较高的滇柏林下土壤生境下AMF对任豆生长影响。结果表明:摩西球囊霉、根内球囊霉和混合接种均能侵染任豆根系,幼嫩根系更易侵染,木质化根系侵染率下降。接种摩西球囊霉,贫瘠喀斯特土壤生境下,株高、地径、地上生物量、地下生物量和总生物量分别提高68.92%、56.18%、83.90%、42.20%和67.34%;养分较高的滇柏林下喀斯特土壤生境下,株高、地上生物量、地下生物量和总生物量分别提高48.05%、6.77%、7.92%和8.89%;根内球囊霉处理接种效应低于摩西球囊霉和混合接种处理,对生物量增长为负效应,混合接种处理接种效应介于单接种之间,摩西球囊霉接种效果优于根内球囊霉和混合接种。摩西球囊霉在贫瘠喀斯特土壤生境下发挥的促生效应优于养分较高的喀斯特土壤,可作为喀斯特侵蚀区植被恢复菌根真菌干扰途径的优势菌种,混合接种作为接种剂具有单接种兼容效应。  相似文献
