A membrane-assisted and a conventional activated sludge system, both operated in an enhanced biological phosphorus removal (EBPR) mode and under identical operating conditions, were studied to investigate the effect of the membrane solids-liquid separation on nitrification activity. Both the membrane EBPR (MEBPR) and conventional EBPR (CEBPR) processes achieved stable and complete removal of ammonium-nitrogen from the influent wastewater. However, when the intrinsic nitrification activity was assessed in offline batch tests, the CEBPR mixed liquor exhibited 15 to 75% greater nitrification potential than the MEBPR counterpart. These results were further validated by monitoring nitrification rates of conventional mixed liquor as it evolved toward a membrane mixed liquor. It was also demonstrated that the larger aerobic mass fraction of the MEBPR system could not be the only factor influencing the reduced intrinsic nitrification rate. The present study strongly suggests that the presence of a membrane solids-liquid separation per se may be sufficient to alter the nitrification kinetics of an EBPR mixed liquor and that this possibility should be considered in arriving at an appropriate process design.  相似文献

序批式生物膜反应器不同填料挂膜及短程硝化特性研究   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
以实际生活污水为研究对象,采用序批式生物膜反应器(SBBR),填充不同种类的填料,针对其各自的挂膜特征和短程硝化的实现与稳定的特性进行了研究.结果表明,与立方体海绵填料相比,炭纤维填料的SBBR能够更快地实现挂膜启动,硝化效果稳定、高效(NH_4~+-N去除率高达99.3%);立方体海绵填料更易在常温下,实现NO_2~--N大量积累的短程硝化,但是相比而言,硝化效率不高.升高温度至30 ℃左右时,能够在30 d内实现炭纤维填料的短程硝化,通过过程控制可以实现短程硝化的稳定.荧光原位杂交技术(FISH)检测结果证实,SBBR中短程硝化的实现与稳定是因为菌群得到了优化,氨氧化细菌成为优势菌种.  相似文献

根据微生物好氧反应的需氧量调节曝气量在当今能源紧缺的形势下具有十分重要的意义.为了研究曝气量大小对SBR实时控制参数pH、DO的影响,采用变频器调节曝气量以控制系统不同的DO浓度,以60 m3中试SBR反应器处理北京市北小河污水处理厂城市污水,考察了硝化过程中pH值、DO与有机物去除及硝化过程的相关性,并引入了新的控制参数--变频频率f.试验结果表明,控制溶解氧浓度较低时,pH值不能作为硝化结束的控制参数,但可根据变频频率f的特征点判断硝化反应的结束;控制溶解氧为3.0 mg/L和4.0 mg/L时,DO、pH值、变频频率f都可作为硝化结束的控制参数,同时,变频控制可有效降低单位时间内风机的能耗.  相似文献

采用批次实验的方法探讨了3种不同温度(15℃,25℃,35℃)对亚硝化及其过程中温室气体氧化亚氮释放情况。结果表明,温度对亚硝化过程及氧化亚氮的释放有显著影响。在15~35℃范围内,随着温度的升高,氨氧化率和亚硝化积累率逐渐升高,N2O释放量也逐渐增大,35℃可以作为适宜的亚硝化温度,平均氨氧化率为50.9%,亚硝化积累率为55.6%,NO-2-N与Nrl4-N出水浓度比为1.1,氨氧化率,亚硝化积累率和出水中亚硝氮与氨氮浓度比较合适,从而可以为厌氧氨氧化工艺提供合适的进水,但在此温度下平均N2O释放量相对较高,为1.494la,g/gMLSS。  相似文献

Cu^2+和Zn^2+是污水处理工艺中经常遇到的金属离子。在驯化好的活性污泥系统中,研究了金属离子Cu^2+和Zn^2+在0~100mg/L浓度下对活性污泥生物脱氮系统的影响。试验发现Cu^2+>5mg/L、Zn^2+>30mg/L时,对硝化过程具有明显的抑制作用,在同样浓度的试验条件下cu“对硝化过程的抑制作用比Zn^2+大。Cu^2+≤0.5mg/L时对反硝化过程具有一定的促进作用,有助于提高TN的去除效果;Cu^2+>0.5mg/L时,对反硝化产生抑制作用,随着浓度的增加,TN去除率逐渐下降。Zn^2+不影响反硝化过程,仅在大于30mg/L时,对硝化过程产生抑制作用。重金属Cu^2+对生物脱氮系统的影响明显强于Zn^2+。  相似文献

一般来说硝化细菌对环境条件的变化比较敏感,而在低浓度氨氮系统中,硝化细菌对环境条件变化的敏感度比高浓度系统更大,而且其影响规律也有所不同.用富集培养的硝化细菌就温度、pH和碱度对高、低浓度氨氮硝化的影响做了研究.结果表明,低浓度氨氮硝化的温度系数(θ=1.105)大于高浓度(θ=1.099),温度对低浓度氨氮硝化的影响较高浓度大;偏碱性的环境更有利于低浓度氨氮硝化的进行,因此低浓度氨氮硝化的最优pH和Alk/N值都较高浓度高.和温度相比,pH和碱度是影响低浓度氨氮硝化过程的主要因素.  相似文献

Four laboratory-scale biological nitrification units (influent total Kjeldahl nitrogen [TKN] = 1002 to 1062 mg/L) were operated at chemical oxygen demand (COD)/TKN ratios of approximately 0.5, 1.0,15, and 2.0 and at three different sludge ages of 30, 20, and 10 days to study the influence of COD/TKN, sludge age, COD loading, and TKN loading on nitrification and nitrifiers. Percent nitrification was found to increase with decreases in COD/TKN and increases in sludge age. The average nitrifier concentration increased from 460 mg/L at a COD/TKN of 2.22 and a sludge age of 10 days to 706 mg/L at a COD/TKN of 0.676 and a sludge age of 30 days. The nitrifier fraction was found to be higher at a lower COD/TKN and lower at a higher COD/TKN. The nitrifier fraction increased with the decrease in sludge age and COD loadings and the increase in TKN loadings. The effect of sludge age on the nitrifier fraction was amplified at a COD/ TKN of approximately 0.5 rather than at approximately 2.0. The nitrification rate (kilograms TKN oxidized per kilograms nitrifiers per day) was shown to be dependent on COD/TKN and sludge age. The activity performed by Nitrobacter was affected at all COD/TKN ratios studied as well as at a sludge age of 10 days. This was manifested by the accumulation of high levels of nitrite-nitrogen in the nitrified effluent. The presence of heterotrophs did not affect nitrification rates and the growth of nitrifiers, which were found to be beneficial. High sludge age and COD loadings resulted in a higher sludge volume index of more than 200 mL/g mixed liquor suspended solids. Microscopic examination showed filamentous structure of sludge under these conditions. It is concluded from the investigations that a sludge age of 30 days and a COD/TKN of approximately 1.0 are optimal to yield maximum nitrification and nitrifier growth rates for treating high-strength nitrogenous wastewater.  相似文献

针对目前传统生物脱氮工艺存在的问题 ,结合国内外在该方向的研究现状 ,以实际豆制品废水为研究对象 ,控制反应器内混合液温度在 31± 0 .5℃的条件下 ,实现了短程硝化 反硝化生物脱氮工艺 ,NO-2 N NOx N的比率始终维持在90 %以上。并在此试验基础上 ,考察了曝气时间对反应器内氮形态变化的影响及系统对进水COD和NH3 N浓度的抗冲击负荷能力。结果显示 ,曝气时间对硝化效果影响较大 ,同时 ,本工艺具有较强的抗冲击负荷能力。  相似文献

研究了两套不同基质复合垂直流人工湿地小试装置在不同季节对富营养化景观水的净化效果,分析了温度变化对污染物去除效果的影响,考察了微生物的硝化强度和反硝化强度以及基质理化性质对植物生长状况的影响,并探讨了氮、磷的去除途径.结果表明:不同基质复合垂直流人工湿地随季节变化对浊度、COD和磷的去除效果差异不明显;温度降低对脱氮效果影响显著,对磷的去除影响不大.沸石-页岩湿地硝化强度和反硝化强度优于砾石湿地.采用沸石作为基质可以提高系统对氮的去除效率,促进湿地植物的生长.对氮、磷去除途径的分析表明:微生物的硝化反硝化作用以及基质对磷的吸附沉淀作用是复合垂直流人工湿地去除氮、磷的主要途径;植物吸收分别占湿地TN、TP去除量的16%和35%左右,也是个重要途径.  相似文献

有机负荷对膜-生物反应器硝化性能的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
采用厌氧动态膜-生物反应器(AnDMBR)组合自养膜-生物反应器(MBR)工艺,研究冬季低温条件下系统的硝化效果以及TP的去除效果,并与单级MBR工艺进行对比。结果表明:(1)AnDMBR对COD的去除率基本保持在50%~60%,AnDMBR组合自养MBR工艺对COD的去除率为80%~85%;单级MBR工艺对COD的去除率为80%左右。(2)总体上,AnDMBR组合自养MBR工艺对NH4+-N的去除率大于95%;单级MBR对NH4+-N的去除效果比AnDMBR组合自养MBR工艺差。(3)AnDMBR组合自养MBR工艺中,出水NO2--N与NO3--N均有积累;单级MBR工艺中,出水NO2--N积累不明显。(4)相对于亚硝酸盐氧化菌(NOB),氨氧化菌(AOB)对有机负荷更敏感,当有机负荷高时,AOB更易受到异养菌活动的抑制;当有机负荷降低、异养菌活性减弱时,AOB活性明显增强,系统的硝化效果得到明显改善。(5)AnDMBR组合自养MBR工艺对TP的去除率高于80%,单级MBR工艺稳定后对TP的去除率仅为20%~30%。(6)从呼吸速率和硝化速率可知,自养MBR的硝化效果优于单级MBR。  相似文献

The effect of zinc on soil nitrification and composition of the microbial community in soil was investigated using a full factorial experiment with five zinc concentrations and four levels of biological complexity (microbes only, microbes and earthworms (Eisenia fetida), microbes and Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum var. Macho), and microbes, ryegrass and earthworms). After 6 weeks of exposure, the activity of soil nitrifying bacteria was measured and the microbial community structure was characterized by phospholipid fatty acid (PLFA) analysis. Soil nitrification and several PLFA markers were significantly influenced by either zinc addition and/or the presence of earthworms or ryegrass, and one of the most pronounced changes was the increase of fungi and decrease of bacteria with increasing concentrations of zinc. Of particular interest, however, was the potential interaction between the presence of plants and/or earthworms and the effect of zinc, which the factorial study design allowed us to explore. Such an effect was observed in two cases: Earthworms reduced the positive effect of zinc on the fungal biomass (ANOVA, p=0.03), and the effect of earthworms on the soil nitrification activity depended on zinc concentration (ANOVA, p<0.05). The effect of earthworm presence was not very large, but it does show that multispecies tests might give information about metal toxicity or bioavailability that cannot be predicted from single-species tests.  相似文献

This study examines the effects of erythromycin on activated sludge from two French urban wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). Wastewater spiked with 10 mg/L erythromycin inhibited the specific evolution rate of chemical oxygen demand (COD) by 79% (standard deviation 34%) and the specific N-NH4+ evolution rate by 41% (standard deviation 25%). A temporary increase in COD and tryptophan-like fluorescence, as well as a decrease in suspended solids, were observed in reactors with wastewater containing erythromycin. The destruction of activated sludge flocs was monitored by automated image analysis. The effect of erythromycin on nitrification was variable depending on the sludge origin. Erythromycin inhibited the specific nitrification rate in sludge from one WWTP, but increased the nitrification rate at the other facility.  相似文献

针对焦化废水中的有毒污染物会对敏感易受干扰的硝化细菌产生不利影响从而破坏硝化过程稳定性的现象,采用A/O1/H/O2工艺处理焦化废水的实际工程为研究对象,根据工程运行的水质监测数据分析,发现几种主要污染物的浓度变化会对二级好氧段的硝化过程产生抑制影响。序批式毒性抑制实验结果表明,苯酚、硫氰化物和喹啉对硝化过程具有毒性抑制作用,半抑制浓度EC50分别为34.26、278.5和73.24 mg/L。当二级好氧工艺段运行正常时(C/N约4.3/1,pH8~8.5,DO 4~4.5 mg/L),出水氨氮浓度可低于5 mg/L,是由于焦化废水经厌氧/好氧/水解工艺后毒物浓度大幅下降,毒性得到削减,表明焦化废水生物处理A/O1/H/O2组合流化床工艺具有较强抵抗毒物抑制并实现高效的硝化作用。  相似文献

单级与二级BAF工艺除碳硝化效能的对比研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
在总曝气量、HRT、水温、进水水质相同的条件下,对比研究了单级(BAF C/N)和二级曝气生物液池(BAF C+N)处理生活污水的除碳硝化效能。结果表明,将除碳和硝化分级有利于提高BAF工艺的处理效能。分级后,C柱较C/N柱具有更高的COD去除容积负荷,且出水COD浓度稳定低于50 mg/L;二级BAF工艺出水NH4+-N浓度由单级BAF的5~12 mg/L降至5 mg/L以下,且N柱在pH<6.3时依然能够进行硝化;N柱中下部具有较高的微生物活性,平均比耗氧速率为32 mg O2/(g VAS·h)。二级BAF中C柱的反冲洗周期和强度与单级BAF相同,而N柱的反冲洗周期则延长至5~7 d,能够降低反冲洗能耗和用水量。  相似文献

Sodium chloride affects the transformation rate of several compounds in bioreactors. Most authors report a decrease in microorganism activity at increasing salt concentrations. In this work, a kinetic model that relates sodium chloride concentration with the rates of each step of the nitrification process is proposed; thus, the effect of sodium chloride concentration (0 to 60 g/L) on the nitritation and nitratation rates was separately studied. To carry out the independent study of each step, a combination of the respirometric method with sodium azide, an inhibitor of the nitratation step, was performed. The dot-blot hybridization technique with 16S rRNA-targeted probes was used to determine the ammonia-oxidizing and nitrite-oxidizing bacterial fraction, then it was possible to relate the culture's function with its biological composition. Rates of both steps were linearly reduced at increasing salt concentrations: the nitratation rate was more affected than the nitritation rate. Simulations carried out in a nitrifying sequencing batch reactor indicate that nitrite might accumulate at high salt concentrations. Sodium chloride exerts a reversible inhibition on ammonia oxidation and nitrite oxidation.  相似文献

The flow rate through an industrial gas-cleaning cyclone at a fixed pressure drop is greater when the incoming gas is dusty than when it is clean. This observation by Briggs for a single cyclone tube was extended to multiple tubes, and ike results compared to observations by Soo and Trezek that the fraction factor for turbulent flow in a pipe is less for dusty gas than for clean. Empirical considerations indicated tJtat both of these observations should be connected with a rather large reduction in gas viscosity due to the dust. This predicted viscosity decrease was later observed. A physical theory accounting for viscosity reduction by a dust cloud is proposed. This effect also offers a means for increasing the heat, transfer coefficient in gas heat exchangers.  相似文献

Bensulfuron toxicity on soil microbes was evaluated by the methods used in a previous study on cinosulfuron; the effects of the two sulfonylureas were compared. Cinosulfuron and bensulfuron, at the normal field application rate and 100 times higher, had no effect on the total number of bacteria and nitrifiers, or on the respiration activity in the soil, but they did decrease the nitrification activity. In vitro toxicity tests carried out on representative soil microbial strains using bensulfuron at 50 mg l(-1) showed some inhibition of three of the 17 bacterial strains and strong inhibition of almost all the 12 fungal strains; cinosulfuron had had no effect on any of these strains in the previous study. It is concluded that, compared with cinosulfuron, bensulfuron is potentially more toxic on soil heterotrophic microorganisms, but only at very high concentrations that are nearly impossible to reach with the usual agricultural use of the herbicides. However, autotrophic nitrifiers were more sensitive to both sulfonylureas than the other microorganisms.  相似文献
