在物质流分析的基础上,根据资源生产力指标,对天津市1996-2007年间的资源生产力进行了分析。结果表明:天津市的资源生产力总体呈上升趋势,总物质资源生产力由1996年的2 293.76元/t上升到2007年的4896.12元/t,增长到2.13倍,年平均递增236.58元/t。在劳动资源生产力、土地资源生产力、水资源生产力、能源资源生产力、进出口物质资源生产力中,劳动资源生产力年平均递增最高,为0.58万元/人,农业水资源生产力最低,年平均递增仅为0.7元/t。随后,应用IPAT模型分析了环境负荷(或资源消耗)与GDP之间的关系,天津市的环境负荷(或资源消耗)随GDP的增长而上升,实现"脱钩"至少应使资源生产力提高2.2倍以上。最后,针对天津市资源生产力分析结果,提出了提高资源生产力的相应建议。  相似文献

Background and aim The combination of increasing freshwater demand, limited or regionally decreasing water resources as a consequence of the climate change, and an increasing qualitative burden, lead more and more to the question as to whether the population of particular regions, whole continents or even the entire world will be confronted with a shortage of available water resources in the future. Discussion The resident-specific regenerative water resources of the continents are being quantitatively rated on the basis of an analysis of the three globally relevant water cycles (the marine one, the terrestrial one and the one which is linking both of them). The available amount of water is limited by technical-economical restrictions. This amount is compared with human demands, and the outstanding relevance of the production of biomass (to be used as food, animal feed, primary product or energy carrier) regarding the worldwide water need is discussed. Results From a global point of view there is no water shortage. Scarcities occur only regionally or seasonally. A large portion of the water employed worldwide is used for the production of biomass. Therefore, this sector provides a considerable key to the strategic handling of water. The so-called ‘green water’ is crucial for the production of biomass. However, the common way of balancing water supply and demand often overlooks the importance of the green water on the supply side and thus indicates shortages which de facto do not exist. As to the whole usage of water by humans, in our opinion, the stated quantity of freshwater which is being regenerated every year all over the world has to be corrected considerably. The figure of 40,000?km³ which is often quoted in current literature has to be raised to more than 100,000?km³. Conclusions and perspectives Water shortage is often not a result of limited resources or technologies but is a consequence of missing awareness, failing political volition or insufficient socio-economic potentials. On the basis of a comprehensive water supply/demand balance, which includes all forms of water usage, national and international potentials for the fulfilment of the demand should be analysed in order to be able to develop necessary supply scenarios.  相似文献

This paper derives market equilibria (in demand functions and in bidding strategies) between oligopolists and oligopsonists in a market with intermediates and no competition in final markets. To the best of my knowledge, this theme has not been explored, despite two observations: Firstly, the commonly applied framework of non-competitive and competitive fringe firms has implausible properties for the limit of purely strategic players. Secondly, real world cases correspond at least potentially to such strategic interactions, e.g., non-competitive players selling and buying permits (CO2 and SO2). The major implications are that these non-competitive markets are characterized by a kind of double marginalization (on the demand and the supply side) resulting in too little trade and wrong price signals.  相似文献

The US corn ethanol industry has grown from virtually nothing in the early 1980s to over 14 billion gallons in 2011. Subsidies have been an important impetus for the industry, and they have existed in one form or another throughout the life of the industry. This paper provides (1) a brief look at the history of the linkages between energy and agriculture and how they have changed with biofuels; (2) a review of some of the major impacts of the US corn ethanol program; and (3) analysis of prospective impacts of cellulosic biofuels. There is no doubt that biofuels have brought about a new era for global agriculture. Historically, the prices of agricultural and energy products moved in response to supply and demand factors relevant to each market, but moved largely independent of one another. Corn ethanol has changed that, and today there is a link between crude oil and corn that is driven by the demand side. Since agricultural commodity prices are linked both on the demand and supply sides, the corn–crude oil link spills over to other agricultural commodities as well. Development of cellulosic biofuels has been much slower than hoped. The feedstocks are more expensive than initially believed. Conversion technologies remain uncertain and expensive. There are many uncertainties through the cellulosic supply chain, and government policy remains uncertain as well. Thus, the future of the cellulosic biofuels industry is, at this point, an open question.  相似文献
