长江中下游湖泊富营养化过程的湖泊沉积记录   总被引:5,自引:1,他引:5  
长江中下游湖群区,历来是人类最活跃的场所,但由于近年来社会经济的迅速发展,湖泊富营养化问题日趋严重,对湖泊湿地变化与湖泊营养盐状况关系的分析是制定湖泊环境整治和生态修复的重要科学依据。长江中游湖泊——龙感湖的湖中心钻孔沉积物中硅藻组合和总磷变化记录了近百年来龙感湖富营养化过程。沉积物中湿地花粉与人湖营养盐关系以及磁化率的分析表明,流域内人类活动对湖周滩地的改造,破坏了湿地植被,助长了人湖物质的增加,湖泊营养相对富集,而流域农业化肥的使用导致了水质的进一步恶化。  相似文献

Patterns of species structure are described for the larval fish assemblage in the North Pacific Central Gyre. About 30,000 larvae, primarily of mesopelagic fish species, were identified for 7 cruises. Samples were collected using Isaacs-Kidd plankton trawls on 6 cruises over a 4 1/2 year period; stratified samples were taken with an opening/closing bongo net on one late-summer cruise. Data on absolute and relative abundances, size ranges and summertime depth distributions of over 150 species of larvae are presented. The depth distribution and abundance of the ichthyoplankton are compared to those of the total zooplankton community. The larval assemblage is also examined with respect to the known adult mesopelagic fish assemblage. Seasonal changes in ichthyoplankton species structure occur but, within seasons, species structure is remarkably constant from year to year. Despite seasonal changes in species abundance and rank order of abundance, a constant cumulative frequency structure was found to exist in the ichthyoplankton, both between seasons and between years. The implications of this result are discussed in light of similar findings in a terrestrial community and with respect to possible mechanisms of regulation.  相似文献

The uptake rates of the three nitrogen compounds ammonium, nitrate, and urea were measured in the oligotrophic North Central Pacific Gyre in August–September 1985. The measurements were performed by using 15N-labelled substrates and incubating for short-time periods (3 to 4 h) under simulated in situ conditions. Ambient concentrations of the nitrogenous nutrients were generally below 0.10 mol l-1. The average total daily nitrogen uptake rate, integrated over the euphotic zone, was 12.5 mmol N m-2 d-1. Diel studies in the upper water mass resulted in a calculated phytoplankton growth rate of 1.3 d-1. Ammonium was the dominating nutrient, accounting for on the average 54% of the total nitrogen uptake, while urea uptake represented 32% and nitrate 14%. Ammonium uptake rates at a coastal station off the Hawaiian Islands were very close to the rates found at the oceanic station. Organisms <3 m dominated the nitrogen assimilation, being responsible for about 75% of the ammonium uptake. The nitrogen uptake rates in this study seem to be higher than those found by earlier investigations in the area, but correlated well with other productivity measurements performed during the same cruise.  相似文献

This study compares the small-scale (100's to 1000's of meters) horizontal spatial distribution of zooplankton from stations in the California Current (29°N; 118°W) and in the North Pacific Central Gyre (31°N; 155°W). Patterns were inferred from the spacing of vertical tows and the variability in abundance of 15 taxonomic categories caught in these tows. In the California Current, 4 tows were taken at random positions within 2000 m of a drogue or fixed geographic position and 4 replicate tows were taken at the drougue or the fixed point. Four series of these 8 tows were taken around noon and midnight during two days. At the Central Gyre station, two similar series (one day and one night) were taken while following a drogue. Estimates of the scale of structure based on comparisons of replicate and random tow variability suggest that aggregated patterns in the Central Gyre are larger than a few hundred meters, while the California Current structures may be less than 100 m in size. Day-night changes in patch size were not apparent in either area. Evidence for multispecies patches was found only for the Central Gyre station. Replication samples in both areas gave more consistent measures of community structure (relative proportions of species) than the random tows. Similarity of community structure decreased with increasing distance between tows being compared. The decrease was much greater for the California Current station, a further indication of smaller patch size in this area. Past studies made between 1938 and the mid-1970's of coastal embayments between northern Baja California and Oregon (USA) established the presence of only one species of the calanoid copepod genus Pseudodiaptomus, P. euryhalinus. This species is endemic to warm temperate latitudes of western North America. We now report the presence of breeding populations of the Asian calanoid copepod P. marinus in two Southern California embayments, Mission Bay and Agua Hedionda Lagoon. The Mission Bay population was monitored monthly from December 1986 to June 1987 and showed evidence of continuous breeding and growth. The regional, endemic species, P. euryhalinus, was not observed in either embayment. Mechanisms that might account for the apparent recent introductions of P. marinus into Southern California include dispersion by ocean circulations and transport by transoceanic ships. In the present case, the explanation is that the introduction is most likely a direct consequence of aquaculture projects. Remaining to be confirmed by systematic sampling is the apparent disappearance of P. euryhalinus from embayments dominated by P. marinus.  相似文献

东湖、汤逊湖和梁子湖沉积物磷形态及pH对磷释放的影响   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
文章采用淡水沉积物中磷形态标准测试程序(SMT)研究了东湖、汤逊湖和梁子湖沉积物中磷的形态分布,并比较了不同pH条件下沉积物磷释放特征的差异性。结果表明:东湖沉积物总磷质量分数最高,平均值1.232 mg.g-1,其次为汤逊湖(0.762mg.g-1),梁子湖沉积物总磷质量分数最低(0.572 mg.g-1);3个湖泊上覆水总磷质量浓度也表现出类似的变化规律,线性相关性分析显示上覆水中总磷质量浓度与沉积物总磷质量分数显著正相关。东湖和梁子湖沉积物总磷中无机磷和有机磷所占比例较接近,汤逊湖无机磷所占比例远低于有机磷。不同湖泊之间磷形态的分布并没有一定的规律性,湖泊的地理分布以及人为因素可能是造成磷形态差异的主要因素。当pH为2.0~7.0时,3个湖泊沉积物中溶解性活性磷(SRP)释放量均呈先增加后减小的趋势;当pH为7.0~12.0时,SRP释放量呈增加趋势。相关分析结果表明,SRP的释放与有机质的质量分数无显著相关性。方差分析结果显示3个湖泊沉积物在黏粒和粉粒组成上均没有显著差异(P>0.1),表明实验样品的粒径组成不是造成各个湖泊间磷释放差异的原因。不同pH条件下,SRP释放量与沉积物总磷质量分数显著正相关;酸性环境下,SRP释放量与酸式磷(HCl-P)的相关性优于碱式磷(NaOH-P),碱性环境下则刚好相反。  相似文献

根据Jaccard相似性指数、Pielou均匀度指数、Mcnaughton优势度指数和Shannon-Wiener多样性指数研究了2008年太湖五里湖浮游植物的群落结构特征.2008年1-12月,五里湖共出现绿藻Chlorophyta、硅藻Bacillariophyta、蓝藻Cyanophyta、裸藻Euglenophyta、隐藻Cryptophyta、甲藻Pyrrophyta、黄藻Xanthophyta 7门64种(包括变种和变型).其中绿藻种数最多,共35种,占浮游植物总种数的54.7%;其次是蓝藻和裸藻,都为9种,均占浮游植物总种数的14.1%;硅藻7种,占浮游植物总种数的10.9%;隐藻2种,占浮游植物总种数的3.1%;甲藻和黄藻各一种,均占浮游植物总种数的1.6%.五里湖浮游植物数量和生物量分别变化在320.4×104~3 390.6×104ind·L-1和0.627~2.025 mg·L-1之间.浮游植物数量以夏末秋初最高,秋末最低;且除绿藻外,五里湖浮游植物的季节演替规律与PEG模型基本相似.相似性分析表明,浮游植物相似性指数变化在0.19~1之间;其中1月8日-4月3日的生境相似、4月23日-5月25日的生境相似、6月22日-8月12日的生境相似、8月28日-10月15日生境相似.优势度分析显示,浮游植物优势度指数变化在0.02~0.86之间,优势度不高;且除5月13日外,其他调查时间下的浮游植物优势种都在3种以上,优势种种数较多.多样性和均匀度分析显示,五里湖浮游植物多样性和均匀度分别变化在0.92~2.61和0.20~0.63,大多数调查时间下的浮游植物多样性和均匀度都较好,表明2008年五里湖浮游植物群落结构比较复杂、群落信息含量较大,群落结构处于较完整的状态.  相似文献

Lugu lake is an alpine lake in Yunnan Province in western China. It is famous for its beautiful scenery and the special culture of Mosuo people in this area. The lake is becoming contaminated and eutrophicated because of the huge number of visitors and improvements in agriculture during the last decade. This paper uses the water quality index (WQI) as an indicator to describe trends in contamination of Lugu Lake from 1995 to 2004 and analyses several parameters to determine the causes and consequences of contamination. We found that the dominant cause was pollution from tourism and suggest some feasible measures to prevent further deterioration of the lake water quality.  相似文献

Abstract

Due to vast research programmes of industrial countries during the last two decades, our knowledge about the intrinsic properties of nanomaterials has increased considerably. However, ‘nanoregulation’ lags behind this progress. Key elements of nanoregulation are definition/scope and safety/consumer information. Safety information along the nano life-cycle is vital for the nanoparticle producer down to the industrial downstream user (product producer). However, nanodeclaration (in the sense of a label on the product for consumers) is not yet widely spread, in different geographic regions for different reasons. This is a case study for the EU, Switzerland, Thailand, the USA, and Intergovernmental Organisations. In addition, this study investigates inter- and governmental activities and the relationship between nanodeclaration and WTO rules. Non-compliance with WTO rules is a pretext for not introducing nanodeclaration in products. It is concluded that WTO rules do not exclude nanodeclaration.  相似文献

Suspended matter sampled in 1982 in the North Equatorial Current, in the open Atlantic to the west of West Africa, was analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. The pigment fingerprint of samples taken in the surface mixed layer was dominated by zeaxanthin and chlorophyll a, in agreement with observed dominance of coccoid cyanobacteria. Near the bottom of the euphotic zone the fingerprint was more complicated, with a sharp transition at the depth of the deep chlorophyll maximum layer to dominance of chlorophyll b, 19-hexanoyloxyfucoxanthin and an unknown fucoxanthin derivative in the lower part of this layer; this fingerprint suggests dominance of eukaryotes (green algae, Prymnesiophyceae and Chrysophyceae) at depth. Up to 90% of the chl a was contained in particles smaller than 8 m, and in the surface mixed layer even more than 50% in particles smaller than 1 m. The high concentration of zeaxanthin relative to chl a near the surface suggests adaptation of the cyanobacteria to exposure to high irradiance. Evidence of this adaptation was the very high specific phytoplankton growth rate between sunrise and sunset (=0.16 h-1), measured by recording 14C incorporation into organic carbon and into chl a carbon after isolation of the latter by HPLC. The high concentration of chl b relative to chl a at depth was possibly caused by shade-adapted green algae containing more chl b than chl a. The specific growth rate of the deep shade community was low (<0.04 h-1), yet net primary production, calculated on the basis of chl a increase during incubation, was greatest at depth.  相似文献

Phosphorus is considered the primary nutrient limiting eutrophication. The release of phosphorus from sediments not only provides hydrophytes with essential nutrients, but can also produce entrophication in lakes. In this study, the sediment characteristics, phosphorus speciation, and environmental factors affecting phosphorus release from sediments from Taihu Lake, Tien Lake, and East Lake were investigated. The results indicated that phosphorus levels of sediments ranged from 647 ± 67 to 2343 ± 122 mg/kg. Inorganic phosphorus comprised the majority of total phosphorus. The main phosphorus speciation of sediments obtained from Taihu Lake and Tien Lake was Residual-P, and the main phosphorus speciation of sediment obtained from East Lake was NaOH-P. Phosphorus release occurred in acidic and alkaline conditions but more frequently under alkaline conditions. The amount of phosphorus released from the sediments increased as the disturbing intensity rose. In addition, less phosphorus was released in natural than anaerobic conditions. The amount of phosphorus released was elevated as temperature increased.  相似文献

星湖位于我国南亚热带地区,为城市浅水湖泊,由5个子湖(仙女湖、波海湖、青莲湖、中心湖和里湖)组成.于2002年的1月、3月、7月、8月、10B和12月对前4个子湖的水质和浮游植物进行了采样分析.星湖的总氮和总磷浓度分布范围分别为0.351~2.488 mg L-1和0.009~0.151 mg L-1,营养盐浓度变化规律均在3月达到最高值,7、8月逐渐降低,10、12月又有所增加.星湖的营养状态(TSI:40~56)整体处于中富营养化向富营养化过渡的阶段,各子湖营养状态存在一定的空间差异,波海湖富营养化程度最高,而仙女湖和青莲湖最低,这种空间差异主要由污染物的入湖位置和子湖的水动力连通特点所决定.从星湖共检到浮游植物128种,其丰度的分布范同为0.85×10644.28×106cells L-1.浮游植物3月丰度最低,7、8月最高.在数量组成上,4个子湖的浮游植物群落有很高相似性,群落结构以蓝藻-绿藻为优势类群.1月以绿藻和硅藻占优势,7、8、10和12月则由蓝藻占绝对优势,平列藻是最主要的优势种.浮游植物丰度的季节变化主要受季节性的降水和湖泊水位调节的影响.图2表6参30  相似文献

Island biogeography theory and nestedness are two relevant and important concepts in biogeography and conservation. However, their integration and application has not been examined for maintaining or maximizing species diversity, especially in arid regions. The aim of this study is to investigate the ecological mechanisms related to the observed pattern of floristic diversity and nestedness in the Lake Bardawil islets on the Mediterranean coast of Sinai Peninsula before the execution of the North Sinai Agricultural Development Project (NSADP) that will threaten the ecosystem of the lake. Plant species on 15 islets were identified and categorized into ecological groups related to their life-form, salt tolerance and succulence. Richness of total plant species and their ecological groups were positively correlated with islet area, number of habitats and elevation, and negatively with disturbance index. The temperature calculator detected highly significant nestedness for the entire flora and all ecological groups. Distance from the mainland had no effect on either species richness or nested pattern of total plant species and their ecological groups. Both the analyses of species richness and nested distribution yielded evidence for a positive species-area relationship. Although nestedness was detected for the entire plant species and their ecological groups, many species and islets exhibited idiosyncratic distribution. Idiosyncrasies could be mainly attributed to demographic stochasticity which is an important character for species interaction and diversity maintenance in arid regions. Therefore, in developing conservation strategies for the Lake Bardawil islets, it is important to incorporate spatial and temporal stability of populations.  相似文献

作为建立淡水"贝类观察"体系的初步尝试,选定2003年3月采自太湖五里湖水域的背角无齿蚌(Anodonta woodiana)为研究对象,测定其体内滴滴涕(DDT)和六六六(HCH)含量.除β型外,α型、γ型和δ型HCH异构体及p,p'-DDE,o,p'-DDT,p,p'-DDD,p,p'-DDT均在蚌样本中明显检出.∑DDTs湿重含量5.86~14.13 ng·g-1[平均(9.27±3.04) ng·g-1],高于∑HCHs湿重含量2.45~6.46 ng·g-1[平均(4.00±1.22) ng·g-1].p,p'-DDE、p,p'-DDD与α型、γ型HCH异构体分别为∑DDTs和∑HCHs的优势组分,说明太湖五里湖水域目前DDT的污染源可能很少,但存在较明显的新输入HCH.各蚌样的残留水平没有超过农业部、美国食品与药品管理局(FDA)和联合国粮农组织(FAO)颁布的最大限量.  相似文献

Microplastic pollution is becoming a major issue for human health due to the recent discovery of microplastics in most ecosystems. Here, we review the sources, formation, occurrence, toxicity and remediation methods of microplastics. We distinguish ocean-based and land-based sources of microplastics. Microplastics have been found in biological samples such as faeces, sputum, saliva, blood and placenta. Cancer, intestinal, pulmonary, cardiovascular, infectious and inflammatory diseases are induced or mediated by microplastics. Microplastic exposure during pregnancy and maternal period is also discussed. Remediation methods include coagulation, membrane bioreactors, sand filtration, adsorption, photocatalytic degradation, electrocoagulation and magnetic separation. Control strategies comprise reducing plastic usage, behavioural change, and using biodegradable plastics. Global plastic production has risen dramatically over the past 70 years to reach 359 million tonnes. China is the world's top producer, contributing 17.5% to global production, while Turkey generates the most plastic waste in the Mediterranean region, at 144 tonnes per day. Microplastics comprise 75% of marine waste, with land-based sources responsible for 80–90% of pollution, while ocean-based sources account for only 10–20%. Microplastics induce toxic effects on humans and animals, such as cytotoxicity, immune response, oxidative stress, barrier attributes, and genotoxicity, even at minimal dosages of 10 μg/mL. Ingestion of microplastics by marine animals results in alterations in gastrointestinal tract physiology, immune system depression, oxidative stress, cytotoxicity, differential gene expression, and growth inhibition. Furthermore, bioaccumulation of microplastics in the tissues of aquatic organisms can have adverse effects on the aquatic ecosystem, with potential transmission of microplastics to humans and birds. Changing individual behaviours and governmental actions, such as implementing bans, taxes, or pricing on plastic carrier bags, has significantly reduced plastic consumption to 8–85% in various countries worldwide. The microplastic minimisation approach follows an upside-down pyramid, starting with prevention, followed by reducing, reusing, recycling, recovering, and ending with disposal as the least preferable option.

• The total organic pollutant concentrations in sediment were 27.4-1620 ng/g. • The phenol concentrations were relatively high in the sediment of the Dianchi Lake. • Average total concentrations decreased as follows: Caohai>Waihai>Haigeng Dam. • 1,4-dichlorobenzene, 3- or 4-methylphenol, 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene might be risks. Organic pollutants are widespread environmental pollutants with high toxicity, persistence, and bioaccumulation. Our aim was to investigate the distribution of aromatic amines, phenols, chlorobenzenes, and naphthalenes in the surface sediment of the Dianchi Lake, China. Nineteen surface sediment samples were collected from the Dianchi Lake, and 40 types of organic pollutants were analyzed via gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. The total organic pollutant concentrations in the surface sediment of the Dianchi Lake varied from 27.4 to 1.62 × 103 ng/g. The concentrations of phenols were much higher than those in other water bodies but still within a controllable range, whereas the concentrations of the other organic pollutant classes were similar or even lower. The detection ratio of 3- or 4-methylphenol was the highest (100.00%) among the pollutants. The average total organic pollutant concentrations decreased in the following order: Caohai (540 ng/g)>the middle of Waihai (488 ng/g)>the edge of Waihai (351 ng/g)>Haigeng Dam (90.4 ng/g). Pearson analysis showed a strong correlation among 1-methylnaphthalene, 2-methylnaphthalene, 1,3-dinitronaphthalene, and 1,4-dinitronaphthalene (p<0.01). Caohai, the north lakeshore of Waihai and the south of Waihai showed higher risk because of high concentration; meanwhile, 1,4-dichlorobenzene, 3- or 4-methylphenol and 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene were more likely to cause risks.  相似文献

A literature review made evident that in three tributaries of Lake Constance, Argen, Schussen and Seefelder Aach 82 micropollutants (including 3 metabolites of pesticides) were detected in at least one of the streams. Quality standards according to the EU Water Frame Directive (which however comprises only 16 of the detected chemicals) are not exceeded in any of the streams. The comparison of maximal values with existing threshold values and effect concentrations obtained in ecotoxicological analyses and biomarker studies revealed 35 substances to be of relevance in at least one of the three waters. These were 5 chemicals in the Argen, 31 chemicals in the Schussen, and 17 chemicals in the Seefelder Aach, for which effects on mortality, development, health or reproduction in aquatic organisms cannot be excluded.  相似文献

The roundnose grenadierCoryphaenoides rupestris Gunnerus, 1765 occurs benthopelagically in the deepest parts of the Norwegian Deep, i.e., at depths >300 m in the Skagerrak. Based on studies of distribution carried out in the years 1984 to 1987, it appears that the concentrations contitute a largely self-sustaining population. From age-readings using transverse otolith sections, the population appears to consist of at least 50 to 60 age-groups and to include a very high proportion of old fish. Population growth-curves in terms of length and weight revealed that females grow comparatively fast for a longer time and attain greater asymptotic sizes than males. Maximum lengths appear however to be lower in the Skagerrak than in waters to the west of Scotland, and the length/weight data indicate that the weight at a given length (weight at length) of large individuals is less than reported from other areas. The major spawning season is in late autumn, probably extending into early winter. Fifty per-cent of females and males become mature for the first time at Age 10 and 8 yr, respectively. Corresponding pre-anal lengths are 11 and 8.5 cm.  相似文献
