采用废弃虾壳制备吸附剂处理含刚果红或亚甲基蓝的溶液。考察了温度、吸附时间、初始浓度、吸附剂投加量和初始溶液pH对吸附效果的影响并构建了去除率预测模型,并对吸附等温线、吸附动力学和吸附热力学进行系统研究。结果表明:虾壳粉对刚果红和亚甲基蓝的吸附分别在24 h和4 h时达到平衡,平衡吸附量随吸附时间、初始浓度及吸附剂投加量的增加而增大;刚果红平衡吸附量随pH升高而增大,亚甲基蓝平衡吸附量几乎不随pH变化。在15 ℃下,吸附剂投加量为1 g·L-1,刚果红吸附的最优条件为接触时间24 h、pH=4,在该条件下,虾壳粉对刚果红的饱和吸附量为276.64 mg·g-1;亚甲基蓝吸附的最优条件为接触时间4 h、pH=12,在该条件下,虾壳粉对刚果红的饱和吸附量为1.44 mg·g-1;虾壳粉对2种染料的吸附过程以物理吸附为主,符合准二级动力学方程。虾壳粉对阴离子型染料的吸附效果较优,对阳离子型染料有一定吸附性能,是一种经济高效的染料废水吸附材料。  相似文献

A novel separation technique known as an aqueous surfactant two-phase (ASTP) extraction is a promising method to remove organic contaminants from wastewater. When cationic and anionic surfactants are mixed at certain surfactant concentrations and compositions, the solution separates into two immiscible aqueous phases. One is the surfactant-rich and the other is the surfactant-dilute phase. The organic contaminants will solubilize into the surfactant aggregates and concentrate in the small volume surfactant-rich phase. The other phase contains only small amount of surfactants and contaminants as the treated water. Most ASTP studies have used nonionic surfactants above the cloud point. Mixtures of anionic and cationic surfactants can also exhibit aqueous-aqueous phase separation and can be used in the ASTP extraction process. The phase behavior and performance of ASTP extraction using cationic surfactant dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTAB) and anionic surfactant alkyldiphenyloxide di-sulfonate (DPDS) to extract benzene from wastewater was investigated in batch experiments. It was found that phase separation only occurs over a narrow range of molar ratios of DTAB:DPDS from 1.6:1 to 2.4:1. In this study, a 2:1 molar ratio of DTAB:DPDS at which there is no net charge in the surfactant aggregates show the highest extraction efficiency and lowest critical micelle concentration value with greatest synergism (highest negative values of the micellar interaction parameter). At a total surfactant concentration of 50mM, the benzene partition ratio is 48 and 72% of the benzene is extracted into the surfactant-rich phase solution in a single stage extraction, which is superior performance compared to ASTP extraction using nonionic surfactants.  相似文献

Adverse effects of manufactured nickel oxide nanoparticles on the microalgae Chlorellavulgaris were determined by algal growth-inhibition test and morphological observation via transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Results showed that the NiO nanoparticles had severe impacts on the algae, with 72 h EC(50) values of 32.28 mg NiOL(-1). Under the stress of NiO nanoparticles, C. vulgaris cells showed plasmolysis, cytomembrane breakage and thylakoids disorder. NiO nanoparticles aggregated and deposited in algal culture media. The presence of algal cells accelerated aggregation of nanoparticles. Moreover, about 0.14% ionic Ni was released when NiO NPs were added into seawater. The attachment of aggregates to algal cell surface and the presence of released ionic Ni were likely responsible for the toxic effects. Interestingly, some NiO nanoparticles were reduced to zero valence nickel as determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis. The maximum ratios of nickel reduction was achieved at 72 h of exposure, in accordance with the time-course of changes in soluble protein content of treated C. vulgaris, implying that some proteins of algae are involved in the process. Our results indicate that the toxicity and bioavailability of NiO nanoparticles to marine algae are reduced by aggregation and reduction of NiO. Thus, marine algae have the potential for usage in nano-pollution bio-remediation in aquatic system.  相似文献

分别利用红背桂叶、菩提叶和龙眼叶的提取液,既作还原剂又作稳定剂,利用绿色方法制备纳米铁(E-Fe NPs、B-Fe NPs、L-Fe NPs)并用于亚甲基蓝的脱色。采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)、热重分析(TG)、X射线光电子能谱(XPS)等表征手段对绿色合成的纳米铁进行表征。结果表明,E-Fe NPs、B-Fe NPs、L-Fe NPs均是呈球状和均匀分布的,其粒径分别为20~40、60~80 nm和80~120 nm。FT-IR和TG的分析结果表明,不同树叶的提取液所含生物分子不同,XPS结果显示,不同树叶提取液合成的纳米铁的组成不同(价态和成分)。E-Fe NPs、B-Fe NPs、L-Fe NPs对亚甲基蓝(MB)的脱色率分别为99.2%、54.2%和20.8%,造成MB脱色率不同的原因可能是,不同的纳米铁颗粒的组成成分比例及粒径有所不同。  相似文献

Rapid chemical degradation of toxic RDX explosive in soil can be accomplished using zerovalent nanoiron suspension stabilized in dilute carboxymethyl cellulose solution (CMC-ZVINs). The effect of operating conditions (redox-potential, Fe/RDX molar ratio) was studied on batchwise removal of RDX in contaminated soil. While anaerobic conditions resulted in 98% RDX removal in 3 h, only slightly over 60% RDX removal could be attained under aerobic conditions. The molar ratio did not have any influence on the intermediate and final RDX degradation products (methylenedinitramine, nitroso derivative, N2, N2O, NO2?), however, their distribution changed. Dynamic studies were conducted using a flow-through short column packed with RDX-contaminated soil and fed with CMC-ZVINs. The column was operated at two interstitial velocities (2.2 and 1.6 cm min?1), resulting in the 76.6% and 95% removal of the initial RDX soil contamination load (60 mg kg?1), respectively. While the column operating conditions could be further optimized, 95% of the RDX initially present in the contaminated soil packed in the column was degraded when flushed with a CMC-ZVINs suspension in this work.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to impregnate the surface of palm coconut activated carbon with nanoparticles of iron compounds using Moringa oleifera leaf extracts and pomegranate leaf by a green synthesis method and to evaluate its adsorption capacity for sodium diclofenac. The adsorbent material was characterized by zeta potential, X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption/desorption (BET method), transmission electronic microscopy (TEM), and scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) coupled to dispersive energy spectrometry X-ray (EDX) methods. To evaluate the adsorption capacity of sodium diclofenac, the influence of pH, kinetics, isotherms, and thermodynamic properties were analysed. The impregnated adsorbents showed efficiency in the adsorption of sodium diclofenac. The kinetic model that best fit the experimental data was the pseudo-second-order model, and the equilibrium model was the Langmuir model. As for the thermodynamic study, it was verified that the adsorption reaction for all adsorbents occurs in a spontaneous, favourable way, and it is endothermic by physisorption. Therefore, this process is promising because it is a clean and non-toxic method when compared with chemical methods for the synthesis of nanoparticles.

In this present study, adsorptive membranes for Cr(VI) ion removal were prepared by blending polyethersulfone (PES) with hydrous ferric oxide (HFO) nanoparticles (NPs). The effects of HFO NPs to PES weight ratio (0–1.5) on the physicochemical properties of the resultant HFO/PES adsorptive membranes were investigated with respect to the surface chemistry and roughness as well as structural morphologies using different analytical instruments. The adsorptive performance of the HFO NPs/PES membranes was studied via batch adsorption experiments under various conditions by varying solution pH, initial concentration of Cr(VI), and contact time. The results showed that the membrane made of HFO/PES at a weight ratio of 1.0 exhibited the highest adsorption capacity which is 13.5 mg/g. Isotherm and kinetic studies revealed that the mechanism is best fitted to the Langmuir model and pseudo-second-order model. For filtration of Cr(VI), the best promising membranes showed improved water flux (629.3 L/m2 h) with Cr(VI) ion removal of 75%. More importantly, the newly developed membrane maintained the Cr(VI) concentration below the maximum contamination level (MCL) for up to 9 h.

A novel approach for the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) from aqueous solution of AgNO3 using culture supernatant of phenol degraded broth is reported in this work. The synthesis was observed within 10 h, and AgNPs showed characteristic surface plasmon resonance around 410 nm. Spherical nanoparticles of size less than 30 nm were observed in transmission electron microscopy. X-ray diffraction pattern corresponding to 111, 200, 220, and 311 revealed the crystalline nature of the as-formed nanoparticles. It was found that the colloidal solution of AgNP suspensions exhibited excellent stability over a wide range of ionic strength, pH, and temperature. The effect of pH and ionic strength indicated that stabilization is due to electrostatic repulsion arising from the negative charge of the conjugate proteins. The AgNPs showed highly potent antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and fungal microorganisms. The as-prepared AgNPs showed excellent catalytic activity in reduction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol by NaBH4. By manufacturing magnetic alginate beads, the reusability of the AgNPs for the catalytic reaction has been demonstrated.  相似文献

In this study, we evaluated, in a pioneering way, the influence of wavelengths from the decomposition of white light on the production and physicochemical properties of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). Bearing in mind a process of green synthesis, an extract of the bracts of Bougainvillea glabra Choisy (BgC) was used, a species native to tropical and subtropical regions and frequently used in ornamentation, possessing in its photochemical composition, biomolecules capable of acting as reducing agents for convert Ag+ to Ag0. We used light-emitting diodes (LED) to obtain the desired wavelengths (violet, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red) in the test called rainbow, and we evaluated the obtaining of AgNPs compared to white LED light, nature, and absence of light. In the rainbow assay, we obtained a gradual increase in the intensity of the plasmonic band resonance from the red wavelength (0.124 ± 0.067 a.u.) to violet (0.680 ± 0.199 a.u.), indicating a higher reaction yield in obtaining AgNPs. Smaller hydrodynamic sizes (approximately 150 nm) at more energetic wavelengths (violet, blue, and green) about less energetic wavelengths (yellow, orange, and red) (approximately 400 nm) were obtained. Analysis by SEM microscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction indicates the presence of silver nanoparticles in all LED colors used together with white LED light and Laboratory light (natural light). Due to the high environmental demand to remove pollutants from water sources, including textile dyes, we applied AgNPs/BgC to remove methylene blue (MB) dye from an aqueous solution. A minimum removal percentage greater than 65%, with emphasis on formulations synthesized by the colors of violet LED (84.27 ± 2.65%) and orange LED (85.91 ± 1.95%), was obtained.

An agricultural by-product, natural wheat straw (NWS), was soaked in 1 % cationic surfactant (hexadecylpyridinium bromide, CPB) solution for 24 h (at 293 K), and modified wheat straw (MWS) was obtained. Analysis of FTIR, XFR, and nitrogen element showed that CPB was adsorbed onto surface of NWS. Then, MWS was used as adsorbent for the removal of light green dye (LG, anionic dye) from aqueous solution. The experiment was performed in batch and column mode at room temperature (293 K). Sodium chloride (up to 0.1 mol/L) existed in solution was not favor of LG dye adsorption. The equilibrium data were better described by Langmuir isotherm, and adsorption capacity of q m from Langmuir model was 70.01?±?3.39 mg/g. In fixed-bed column adsorption mode, the effects of initial LG concentration (30, 50, 70 mg/L) and flow rate (6.5, 9.0, 14.5 mL/min) on adsorption were presented. Thomas and modified dose–response models were used to predict the breakthrough curves using nonlinear analysis method, and both models can fit the breakthrough curves. Theoretical and experimental breakthrough curves were drawn and compared. The results implied that MWS can be used as adsorbent material to remove LG from aqueous solution.  相似文献

采用阳离子表面活性剂十六烷基三甲基溴化铵(CTAB)改性绿色合成纳米氧化铁(IONP),提高其稳定性和分散性,并应用于去除水中亚硝酸盐。实验结果表明,亚硝酸盐初始浓度为20 mg·L-1,反应温度 30 ℃时,0.4 mmol·L-1 CTAB改性的绿色合成纳米氧化铁(CTAB-IONP)去除亚硝酸盐的效率最高,为 97.32%,比IONP增加了 23%。通过扫描电镜(SEM)和傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)表征可知,经CTAB改性提高了IONP的稳定性和分散性,同时使其带正电,从而提高了反应活性。IONP对亚硝酸盐的去除反应遵循伪一级动力学,而CTAB-IONP则更符合伪二级动力学。  相似文献

Batch laboratory scale experiments were conducted to investigate the removal of phosphate from aqueous and municipal wastewater samples by addition of FeCl(3).6H(2)O. The effect of pH, Fe-dose and initial phosphate concentration were assessed. Optimum phosphate removal, 63% for 1:1 molar addition of Fe(III) was observed at pH 4.5. However, a 155% excess of Fe-dose was necessary for complete phosphorus removal. Phosphorus removal from municipal wastewater was slightly higher than that observed for the aqueous solutions. A chemical precipitation mathematical model was developed and tested with the available experimental data. The model included a total of 15 chemical reactions and 4 solid phases with the option of single-phase precipitation or two-phase co-precipitation. The resulting system of non-linear algebraic equations was solved numerically, using the Wijngaarden-Dekker-Brent method.  相似文献
