森林是陆地最大也是最重要的生态系统,森林生态系统提供了木材供给、固碳、水源涵养等多种类型的服务,通过量化森林生态系统服务有利于决策者管理实现精准管理的目标,从而达到提高森林质量和缓解气候变化的作用。森林生态系统过程的复杂性和时空变异性为该领域的研究提供了丰富的研究内容,近几年来该领域的文献发表量增长迅速,为了了解当前森林生态系统服务价值评估研究进展情况,文章使用文献计量学分析法对国内外相关研究进展进行了分析总结。结果显示,中国在该领域研究的国际影响力逐年提升,在Web of Science数据库中,中国科学院在该领域具有最多的文献量;生态系统服务制图、文化服务、生态系统价值、森林景观资源恢复等九类是当前该领域研究的主要研究类别;国内外研究热点大体一致,主要可分为影响因素、评价类型、评价对象、评价方法与指标4个热点类型。文章基于文献聚类和热点分布,提出未来研究的发展方向主要是:气候变化和土地利用变化的影响;多类型的覆盖;方法优化与模型的开发与应用。  相似文献

伏牛山地区森林生态系统服务空间差异分析   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
森林生态系统为人类社会提供多种多样的服务类型。从多种空间尺度探讨不同类型森林生态系统服务的空间差异特征,有助于明确森林生态系统综合管理及不同空间尺度上管理方案的差异,对于提升森林生态系统服务综合效益及优化森林管理方案具有重要的意义。综合森林类型图、气象和土壤等多源数据,借助InVEST 3.2模型和ArcGIS 10.2软件,开展伏牛山地区森林生态系统固碳服务和水源供给服务评估,并从区域和森林类型两个尺度分析其空间差异特征。结果表明,(1)伏牛山地区森林生态系统固碳量为1.97×10~8 t,碳密度为156.94 t·hm~(-2);水源供给量为6.06×10~9 m~3,供水深度为494.46 mm。(2)固碳服务高值区主要位于中高山地区,低值区一部分零星地分布在西峡和内乡地区的低山缓坡地区,另一部分主要位于栾川西部的油松飞播林基地地区。水源供给服务表现为自南向北递减,高值区位于降水量丰富的西峡南部地区,低值区主要位于干燥度指数较大的卢氏中北部、栾川及嵩县境内。(3)森林类型尺度上,阔叶林提供的固碳量和水源供给量均超过其供给总量的90%;就服务单位量而言,天然林的碳密度普遍高于人工林,供水深度则表现为马尾松林、栓皮栎林和阔杂林的供水深度比较大,而其余森林类型的供水深度比较小。研究结果可为伏牛山地区森林资源优化配置提供理论指导和决策支持。  相似文献

全球变化背景下.植被对CO2的减排作用得到了广泛关注.森林生态系统具有诸多功能,不同功能的货币化基准难以统一,是进行总体生态资产价值定量核算的制约要素.在资源、环境与生态经济原理指导下,分析相关方法评估生态系统生态资产的可行性,选择量化评估参数,并通过多种模式与方法进行估算乌鲁木齐城市2004年森林生态系统的生态资产.森林生态系统涵养水源类、生物多样性维持类、净化空气类、保护土壤类以及大气调节类生态资产分别为0.224 8×108元、10.608 8x108元、0.630 8×108元、0.2592×108元及12.9653×108元,乌鲁木齐市森林生态总资产为24.6889×108元.各类生态资产具有一定的时空差异性.城市森林生态系统生态资产估算模式及方法的研究具有重要的理论价值与现实意义.  相似文献

造林对区域森林生态系统碳储量和固碳速率的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
量化连年造林对提升区域森林生态系统固碳能力的贡献,对于了解区域碳循环和应对气候变化具有重要意义。基于县域造林统计数据和森林资源规划设计调查数据,应用区域尺度森林碳收支模型(CBM-CFS3)设置造林情景与未造林情景(BS),评估和预测了2009—2030年造林对湖北省兴山县森林生态系统碳储量和固碳速率的影响。结果表明,模拟期间造林情景下兴山县森林生态系统碳储量和固碳速率平均值分别为16 540.55 Gg和208.04 Gg·a~(-1),比BS情景对应值高472.85 Gg(2.94%)和16.01 Gg·a~(-1)(8.34%)。在新造林生态系统中,生物量碳库和死亡有机质碳库的碳储量占比分别为19.11%和80.89%,这2个碳库的固碳速率分别占新造林生态系统固碳速率的94.15%和5.85%。造林使马尾松林和落叶阔叶林生态系统碳储量平均值分别增加237.23和235.63 Gg,使两者固碳速率分别增加6.44和9.57 Gg·a~(-1)。通过调整兴山县林龄结构,造林提高了森林生态系统碳储量和固碳速率。未来可适当增加落叶阔叶林造林面积,加强抚育管理,以增强该区域森林碳汇功能,促使森林资源持续发展。  相似文献

森林土壤储存着全球陆地生态系统大约45%的碳,在维持全球碳平衡方面具有重要的作用。不断加剧的全球氮沉降对森林生态系统碳循环和碳吸存产生了深刻的影响,进而改变了森林生态系统的生产力和生物量积累。本文以欧洲和北美温带地区开展的有关氮沉降对森林生态系统影响的研究为基础,提炼出最可能决定加氮影响碳输入、输出效应方向和大小的因素:凋落物分解、细根周转、外生菌根真菌、土壤呼吸及可溶性有机碳淋失,并探讨了森林生态系统碳动态对氮沉降响应的不确定性。陆地生态系统碳氮循环密切相关,由于氮循环的复杂性,尽管以往碳循环研究都考虑了氮对碳循环的限制作用,但在碳氮循环耦合机理方面的研究还比较少见。在未来研究中,应通过探寻森林土壤碳氮相互作用特征,及土壤微生物、土壤酶等与土壤碳氮过程的互动机制,来增进氮沉降对森林碳储量和碳通量的理解。  相似文献

以鼎湖山3个南亚热带森林演替典型阶段生态系统为对象,采用我国《森林生态系统服务功能评估规范》(LY/T 1721—2008)标准化计算公式与服务价格,量化揭示南亚热带森林生态系统演替过程中生态系统服务功能价值动态。结果表明:随着演替的进行,南亚热带森林生态系统服务功能总价值不断增大;但各分项服务功能价值则表现出不同的动态规律与变化幅度,从而使得森林生态系统服务结构呈现非线性演化特征。在南亚热带森林生态系统演替的早期阶段,生态系统服务价值的最大组分是涵养水源的功能价值,而中、后期则是保育土壤。人工林营造可以有效增强区域生态系统的水源涵养能力,而保育演替中、后期森林则对于大气CO2收和土壤保育而言尤为重要。  相似文献

森林是陆地生态系统的主体,是最大的植被碳库和土壤碳库,其碳通量和碳储量的变化对生态系统的碳循环乃至全球碳收支平衡具有决定性影响。土壤呼吸是森林生态系统碳循环过程的关键环节,亦是森林生态系统的碳素向大气输出的主要途径,是土壤圈与大气圈交流的重要形式,是森林生态系统能量流动和物质循环的重要生态过程。目前,土壤呼吸已经成为陆地生态系统向大气排放CO2最大的源,在区域乃至全球碳循环与碳平衡中具有重要作用。随着全球气候变化的加剧,森林土壤呼吸在全球碳平衡中的作用引起了人们的广泛关注,成为科学界研究的热点问题。土壤呼吸测定方法是科学有效地测定土壤呼吸的重要手段以及对土壤呼吸定量化研究的重要媒介,科学有效地加强森林土壤呼吸测定方法的精确化与定量化研究,对了解森林土壤呼吸在全球碳循环和碳平衡中的地位以及实现森林土壤碳汇效应与固碳潜力的研究均有重要意义。本文系统阐明了森林土壤呼吸的国内外研究现状及进展、论述比较了土壤呼吸的各种测定方法,特别比较了静态气室法和动态气室法的优缺点,为人们对测定方法的选择提供参考。虽然测定森林生态系统土壤呼吸的方法均存在某种程度的不足,但目前最理想的方法是动态红外气体分析法,亦是最可靠的方法之一。此外,本文亦阐述了森林生态系统土壤呼吸各组分的区分方法,最后讨论了森林生态系统土壤呼吸测定方法研究存在的问题,探讨了解决问题的方向,并总结了土壤呼吸测定方法研究的趋势以及进一步的研究发展方向。  相似文献

Bamboo forests, due to their special characteristics and ecological functions, play an important role in sustainable forest management and rural development in China. Over the past two decades, China has successfully established millions of hectares of bamboo forest, which has restored fragile ecosystems, provided benefits to local communities, alleviated rural poverty and eased timber shortages. However, there is potential for further improvements to the bamboo forest estate. This paper analyses the current state of bamboo forest resources and management, and the roles of the bamboo forest industry in social development, economic growth and ecosystem protection in China. We examine the main issues related to governance systems, local economic development and traditional management practices. Finally, we suggest some directions for future development.  相似文献

Land degradation is a global problem that seriously threatens human society. However, in China and elsewhere, ecological restoration still largely relies on a traditional approach that focuses only on ecological factors and ignores socioeconomic factors. To improve the effectiveness of ecological restoration and maximize its economic and ecological benefits, a more efficient approach is needed that provides support for policy development and land management and thereby promotes environmental conservation. We devised a framework for assessing the value of ecosystem services that remain after subtracting costs, such as the opportunity costs, costs of forest protection, and costs for the people who are affected by the program; that is, the net value of ecosystem services (NVES). To understand the difference between the value of a resource and the net value of the ecosystem service it provides, we used data on VES, timber sales, and afforestation costs from China's massive national afforestation programs to calculate the net value of forest ecosystem services in China. Accounting for the abovementioned costs revealed an NVES of ¥6.1 × 1012 for forests in 2014, which was 35.9% less than the value calculated without accounting for costs. As a result, the NVES associated with afforestation was 55.9% less than the NVES of natural forests. In some regions, NVES was negative because of the huge costs of human-made plantations, high evapotranspiration rates (thus, high water opportunity costs), and low forest survival rates. To maximize the ecological benefits of conservation, it is necessary to account for as many costs as possible so that management decisions can be based on NVES, thereby helping managers choose projects that maximize both economic and ecological benefits.  相似文献

Erosion control is one of the most important functions of forest ecosystems, and its accurate assessment is useful to illuminate the importance of forest ecosystem services for humans so as to rationally conserve forest resources. This paper examines Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the first national forest park in China, to seek practical methods for assessment of the forest erosion control function using a geographical information system (GIS). The results show that the potential and actual amounts of soil erosion are 2.92 million ton and 0.14 million ton per year, respectively, in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The total reduction in soil loss reaches 2.77 million ton per year with the existence of a forest ecosystem. The erosion control function of near mature, mature and over mature broadleaf forest is excellent, and natural forest conservation and natural restoration of the degraded forest ecosystem can provide the largest benefits in soil erosion control. Nearly all the near mature, mature and over-mature forest in the park is at the top and in steep mountain areas, and could be rationally cut and utilized by local communities, but extensive timber felling should be strictly prohibited.  相似文献

Urban forest is a very important part of urban ecosystems and provides significant ecosystem services. It benefits urban communities environmentally, aesthetically, recreationally and economically. This article reviews the development status, development patterns and influencing factors of urban forest in China. There are four typical development patterns of urban forest in China: the forest city, garden city, ecological economics and forest greenbelt. Social, climatic, economic and other factors influence urban forest development in China. Social factors include government behaviour, laws and regulations, science and technology, education and culture, public awareness and participation, ecological planning and management. Climatic factors include rainfall, temperature and sunlight. Economic factors include urban economic level and funding for urban forest. In future, government, NGOs and the private sector should be considered more in the planning and management of urban forest. The social, climatic and economic factors should be taken into account when improving urban forest management. Research on urban forest from the academic and the management viewpoint should be strengthened. This can improve the development and management of urban forest in China and in other developing countries.  相似文献

Efficient and sustainable management of complex forest ecosystems   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A large range of models has been developed for the analysis of optimal forest management strategies, with the well-known Faustmann models dating back to the mid-19th century. To date, however, there has been relatively little attention for the implications of complex ecosystem dynamics for optimal forest management. This paper examines the implications of irreversible ecosystem responses for efficient and sustainable forest management. The paper is built around two forest models that comprise two ecosystem components, forest cover and topsoil, the interactions between these components, and the supply of the ecosystem services ‘wood’ and ‘erosion control’. The first model represents a forest that responds in a reversible way to overharvesting. In the second model, an additional ecological process has been included and the ecosystem irreversibly collapses below certain thresholds in forest cover and topsoil depth. The paper presents a general model, and demonstrates the implications of pursuing efficient as well as sustainable forest management for the two forest ecosystems. Both fixed and variable harvesting cycles are examined. Efficient and sustainable harvesting cycles are compared, and it is shown that irreversible ecosystem behaviour reduces the possibilities to reconcile efficient and sustainable forest management through a variable harvesting cycle.  相似文献

Abstract:  I evaluated the Northwest Forest Plan as a model for ecosystem management to achieve social and economic goals in communities located around federal forests in the U.S. Pacific Northwest. My assessment is based on the results of socioeconomic monitoring conducted to evaluate progress in achieving the plan's goals during its first 10 years. The assessment criteria I used related to economic development and social justice. The Northwest Forest Plan incorporated economic development and social justice goals in its design. Socioeconomic monitoring results indicate that plan implementation to achieve those goals met with mixed success, however. I hypothesize there are two important reasons the plan's socioeconomic goals were not fully met: some of the key assumptions underlying the implementation strategies were flawed and agency institutional capacity to achieve the goals was limited. To improve broad-scale ecosystem management in the future, decision makers should ensure that natural-resource management policies are socially acceptable; land-management agencies have the institutional capacity to achieve their management goals; and social and economic management goals (and the strategies for implementing them) are based on accurate assumptions about the relations between the resources being managed and well-being in local communities. One of the difficulties of incorporating economic development and social justice goals in conservation initiatives is finding ways to link conservation behavior and development activities. From a social perspective, the Northwest Forest Plan as a model for ecosystem management is perhaps most valuable in its attempt to link the biophysical and socioeconomic goals of forest management by creating high-quality jobs for residents of forest communities in forest stewardship and ecosystem management work, thereby contributing to conservation.  相似文献

This study aims to identify services provided by forest ecosystems based on locals’ perceptions in the northern part of Jordan. By better understanding preferences of locals and by understanding why they value certain services more heavily, policy-makers and planning managers can make more effective decisions regarding development and conservation. Three hundred respondents were interviewed in order to collect information about forest ecosystem services (ES). Data collection was conducted using a structured questionnaire regarding ES provided by three forest types situated in northern Jordan. ES trade-offs and socio-ecological bundles were identified by analyzing respondents’ socioeconomic demographics and preferences of forest ES through multivariate canonical corresponding analysis (CCA). The statistical analysis indicated that the socioeconomic factors and forest type have an effect on social preferences toward ES. Results displayed a clear trade-off between provisioning services and regulating and cultural services. CCA demonstrated that 73% of the variation in ES value is explained by social factors (i.e. education level, income level, and gender), while 26% of perception variation was attributable to categories of ES supplied by each forest ecosystem. These findings imply that involving people in the place-specific management of public forests using the ES approach gives managers a clearer understanding of the benefits people recognize and value, as well as those they either are not aware of or do not value. Such information is useful in forest management and in public outreach. Although direct policy applications are limited by the research’s nature, the paper provides a starting point for incorporating forest users’ voices into policy discussions and management design.  相似文献

The high incidence of hunting activity and forest fires in different ecosystems (particularly in Mediterranean ecosystems) requires a model, which allows for the comprehensive management of hunting resources and estimating the potential damage caused by this type of disturbance. This paper proposes a model for evaluating the socio-economic effects of forest fires on hunting. Its cornerstone lies in evaluating hunting resource availability for each ecosystem within its territorial mosaic. Each game management unit (GMU) is identified by vegetation structure and habitat type. It presents a novel approach in which the economic value of each game management unit is linked to potential forest fire damages. The effect a forest fire has on an entire ecosystem depends on the intensity of its flames. A sample study was undertaken in the province of Huelva in Andalusia (southern Spain). The socio-economic hunting vulnerability of the province of Huelva was 45,188,000€. The results obtained confirmed the need for an economic appraisal of non-forest products in the forest and other woodland areas. Geographic Information System increases the flexibility and simplicity of our methodology which permits immediate extrapolation to other agroforestry territories.  相似文献

This paper introduces Chinese urban forestry research in terms of the concept, forest types, ecosystem services, spatial structure, planning and construction, assessment and management. Modern Chinese urban forest had a close relationship with traditional landscape architecture. Urban forest services had been quantified in some case cities, and determined by urban forest spatial patterns and internal structures. Based on landscape ecology and urban planning, urban forest spatial patterns have been analysed and planned rationally in some cities. However, studies on urban forestry generally lack long-term, continuous and systemic observations, as well as in-depth research on ecological processes and mechanisms. The development trends in urban forestry in China might include extensive application of '3S' technology, research on the relationship between urban forest landscape spatial patterns and their ecological effects, economic assessment, ecological and economic benefits and studies on the negative effects of pollutants.  相似文献

Globally, particularly in developing countries, hydroelectricity production and economic growth occur together with ecosystem/biodiversity conservation in watersheds. There is a relationship between hydroelectricity production and ecosystem/biodiversity conservation in watersheds, centering on the supply and demand for ecosystem services of river water flow regulation and sediment retention. Here we show that, in the upper reach of the Yangtze River, hydroelectricity production of Three Gorges Hydroelectric Power Plant can form a beneficial relationship with forest conservation through the paid use (compensating residents for their cooperation in the conservation) of ecosystem services launched by the National Natural Forest Protection Project. This interaction can provide additional incentives to encourage local communities' long-term cooperation in conserving and protecting the restored forest ecosystems. Hydroelectricity plants also obtain benefits from this interaction. The industrialization of ecosystem services supply provides an operational framework for this beneficial interaction. Sustainable forest ecosystem conservation will require developing new institutions and policies and must involve local communities in the conservation and protection of their local forests.  相似文献
