Photocatalytic degradation of dyes on a magnetically separated photocatalyst under visible and UV irradiation 总被引:11,自引:0,他引:11
A novel kind of magnetically separable photocatalyst of TiO2/SiO2/gamma-Fe2O3 (TSF) is prepared. Scanning tunnel microscope (STM) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD) were used to characterize the structure of the photocatalyst. In the TSF photocatalyst, a TiO2 shell is for photocatalysis, a gamma-Fe2O3 core as a carrier is for separation by the magnetic field and a SiO2 membrane between the TiO2 shell and the gamma-Fe2O3 core is used to weaken the adverse influence of gamma-Fe2O3 on the photocatalysis of TiO2. Three kinds of dyes, Fluoresein, Orange II and Red acid G, were used to examine the photocatalytic activity of TSF. Due to strong UV adsorption of the gamma-Fe2O3, the photocatalytic activity of TSF was lower than that of the pure TiO2. Deducting the light absorption of the gamma-Fe2O3 particles, the photocatalytic activity of TSF was found to be higher than that of the P25 under UV irradiation. On the other hand, the photocatalytic activity of TSF under visible irradiation was much lower than that of the P25 TiO2 even deducting the visible light absorption of the gamma-Fe2O3 particles. Differences in the photocatalytic mechanisms under UV and visible irradiation lead to the differences in the photodegradation characteristics of dyes on TSF. The recycled TSF exhibited a good repeatability of photocatalytic activity. 相似文献

Photocatalytic degradation of phenol by visible light-responsive iron-doped TiO2 and spontaneous sedimentation of the TiO2 particles 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
Fe-doped TiO2 was prepared by the calcination of FexTiS2 (x = 0, 0.002, 0.005, 0.008, 0.01) and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and UV–visible diffuse reflectance spectra. All the Fe-doped TiO2 were composed of an anatase crystal form and showed red shifts to a longer wavelength. The activity of the Fe-doped TiO2 for the degradation of phenol was investigated by varying the iron content during UV (365 nm) and visible light (405 nm and 436 nm) irradiation. The degradation rate depended on the Fe content and the Fe-doped TiO2 was responsive to the visible light as well as the elevated activity toward UV light. The molar ratio of 0.005 was the optimum for both the UV and visible light irradiations. The result was discussed on the basis of the balance of the excited electron–hole trap by the doped Fe3+ and their charge recombination on the doped Fe3+ level. The Fe-doped TiO2 (x = 0.005) was more active than P25 TiO2 under solar light irradiation. The suspended Fe-doped TiO2 spontaneously precipitated once the stirring of the reaction mixture was terminated. 相似文献

模拟自然条件下的可见光,以甲醛的光催化降解为探针反应,评价了通过溶胶-凝胶法分别制备的8种(银Ag、铜Cu、铁Fe、钨W、铈Ce、镧La、硫S、氯Cl)掺杂TiO2纳米晶体的光催化活性及对甲醛水溶液的去除效果。用X射线衍射、激光粒度分析和紫外-可见分光光谱表征了掺杂纳米TiO2的微晶尺寸、晶体结构与光学性能。结果表明:Ce离子尽管有较大的半径但是主要还是掺杂到晶格中,Ce掺杂可以促进TiO2由非正分锐钛矿相向锐钛矿相和金红石相的转变,抑制载流子复合,使TiO2的光吸收带边发生红移且有利于对可见光的吸收,从而使Ce掺杂TiO2在模拟可见光下光催化甲醛水溶液的能力得到明显提高。 相似文献

通过水热法制备了可见光下响应的光催化剂ZnIn2S4,研究了水中痕量医药类物质双氯芬酸的光解和光催化降解效果与降解途径,同时对催化剂进行了扫描电镜、X射线衍射、紫外可见漫反射、氮吸附和羟基自由基捕获的测试。结果表明,ZnIn2S4的比表面积为91.3 m2·g-1,且在可见光照射下具有良好光催化性能。以卤钨灯模拟太阳光,在双氯芬酸初始浓度100 μg·L-1,ZnIn2S4投加浓度10 mg·L-1条件下反应5 h可降解水中98%的双氯芬酸。卤钨灯直接光解5 h可降解91%的双氯芬酸。光解和光催化反应均符合假一级反应动力学,光催化反应速率是光解反应速率的1.5倍。双氯芬酸光解过程中主要发生光环化反应,生成了2-(1-氯-9H-咔吧唑-8-基)-乙酸;光催化过程则主要通过羟基自由基氧化降解双氯芬酸,中间产物主要有1-氯-8-甲基-9H-咔吧唑及2,6-二氯-N-邻甲苯基苯胺。 相似文献

The photodegradation of two common and very stable azo-dyes, i.e. methyl-orange (C14H14N3SO3Na) and orange II (C16H11N2SO4Na), is reported. The photocatalytic oxidation was carried out in aqueous suspensions of polycrystalline TiO2 irradiated by sunlight. Compound parabolic collectors, installed at the “Plataforma Solar de Almería” (PSA, Spain) were used as the photoreactors and two identical reacting systems allowed to perform photoreactivity runs for the two dyes at the same time and under the same irradiation conditions. The disappearance of colour and substrates together with the abatement of total organic carbon content was monitored. The main sulfonate-containing intermediates were found to be in lower number in respect to those obtained under artificial irradiation. In particular there were no more evidence of the presence of hydroxylated transients. The dependence of dye photooxidation rate on: (i) substrate concentration; (ii) catalyst amount; and (iii) initial pH was investigated. The influence of the presence of strong oxidant species (H2O2, S2O82−) and some ions (Cl−, SO42−) on the process was also studied. 相似文献

The photocatalytic degradation of pentachlorophenol (PCP) in aqueous solution was investigated using TiO2 catalysts. The samples were prepared by the sol-gel method using different gelation pH and different calcination temperatures. The solids were characterized by specific surface area, X-ray diffraction, UV-Vis absorbance, FTIR and pentachlorophenol adsorption. The catalytic activity of the solids was evaluated in a conventional photoreactor at 298 K using 30 ppm of pentachlorophenol. It was found that the reaction follows a first-order reaction and the kinetic constant values change slightly with the pH of gelation and more significantly with the calcination temperature. 相似文献

以阳离子交换树脂为模板,采用溶胶-凝胶法以四氯化钛为原料制备TiO2微球,采用XRD,FTIR,SEM对样品进行了表征。微球中主要组分是锐钛矿型TiO2,同时掺杂有少量Na+,SO24-等离子,比TiO2粉末具有更好的光催化性能,具备重复使用的能力,使用寿命较长,可作为一种有实用价值的光催化剂。在300 W高压汞灯下采用二氧化钛微球催化降解腐植酸钠,分析了催化剂投加量和反应时间对降解率的影响。腐植酸钠的光催化降解实验结果表明:初始浓度为10 mg/L的腐植酸钠在碱性条件,催化剂投加量为2.5 g/L,反应时间为3 h时最为适宜,最大降解率可达到96.51%。 相似文献

针对浓度大、色度高的印染废水难以处理的情况,选用加入光纤的光催化体系进行研究。采用溶胶凝胶法制备了Ag+/TiO2粉体光催化剂,用固体紫外可见光谱、X射线衍射对其进行表征。选用亚甲基蓝溶液作为目标降解物,评价了Ag+/TiO2在可见光下的光催化活性。分别考察了加入石英芯侧光光纤与塑料侧光光纤反应体系下,催化剂量、光纤数量、光照强度和pH值等因素对亚甲基蓝降解实验的影响。结果表明,选用20 mg/L的亚甲基蓝,采用催化剂量为11.67 g/L,500根侧光光纤,300 W的外部光源,pH值约为11时,光催化降解效果最佳,均能达到90%以上。 相似文献

由海藻酸钠和氯化铁反应制备了海藻酸铁凝胶小球催化剂,考察了该催化剂的吸附和可见光下催化降解吖啶橙的性能.结果表明催化剂的吸附能力随pH升高而提高,且催化剂用量为40个凝胶小球时,可见光下吖啶橙能够在较宽pH值范围内脱色,脱色速率随H2O2的用量增加而增加,该反应符合Arrhenius规律,其表观活化能为49.6 kJ/mol.自由基清除剂的加入不会降低脱色速率,表明催化反应不是羟基自由基的机理,而与高活性的类{ Fe(Ⅳ)=O}高价铁中间产物有关. 相似文献

This study reports the synthesis and characterization of composite nitrogen and fluorine co-doped titanium dioxide (NF-TiO2) for the removal of contaminants of concern in wastewater under visible and solar light. Monodisperse anatase TiO2 nanoparticles of different sizes and Evonik P25 were assembled to immobilized NF-TiO2 by direct incorporation into the sol–gel or by the layer-by-layer technique. The composite films were characterized with X-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, environmental scanning electron microscopy, and porosimetry analysis. The photocatalytic degradation of atrazine, carbamazepine, and caffeine was evaluated in a synthetic water solution and in an effluent from a hybrid biological concentrator reactor (BCR). Minor aggregation and improved distribution of monodisperse titania particles was obtained with NF-TiO2-monodisperse (10 and 50 nm) from the layer-by-layer technique than with NF-TiO2?+?monodisperse TiO2 (300 nm) directly incorporated into the sol. The photocatalysts synthesized with the layer-by-layer method achieved significantly higher degradation rates in contrast with NF-TiO2-monodisperse titania (300 nm) and slightly faster values when compared with NF-TiO2-P25. Using NF-TiO2 layer-by-layer with monodisperse TiO2 (50 nm) under solar light irradiation, the respective degradation rates in synthetic water and BCR effluent were 14.6 and 9.5?×?10?3?min?1 for caffeine, 12.5 and 9.0?×?10?3?min?1 for carbamazepine, and 10.9 and 5.8?×?10?3?min?1 for atrazine. These results suggest that the layer-by-layer technique is a promising method for the synthesis of composite TiO2-based films compared to the direct addition of nanoparticles into the sol. 相似文献

以硫酸钛为原料采用水热法制备了掺Fe3+TiO2晶体粉末,采用X射线衍射仪(XRD)对样品的结构进行了表征。在可见光条件下,用溴酚蓝、甲基绿、甲基蓝、孔雀石绿、甲基紫和碱性品红等6种典型三苯甲烷类化合物为目标降解物,研究了以自制的掺Fe3+TiO2晶体粉末对它们的催化降解作用。实验结果表明,制备的掺Fe3+TiO2晶体属于锐钛矿型。6种化合物的光催化降解反应遵循拟一级动力学规律,且可用Langmuir-Hinshelwood(L-H)动力学模型描述,其表观反应速度常数(k)的大小顺序为:溴酚蓝〈甲基绿〈甲基蓝〈孔雀石绿〈甲基紫〈碱性品红,大小变化次序与其半衰期t1/2成反比,并从分子结构上对它们的降解规律进行定性解释。 相似文献

This study examined the photocatalytic degradation of three azo dyes, acid orange 7 (AO7), procion red MX-5B (MX-5B) and reactive black 5 (RB5) using a new type of nitrogen-doped TiO2 nanocrystals. These newly developed doped titania nanocatalysts demonstrated high reactivity under visible light (lambda>390 nm), allowing more efficient usage of solar light. The doped titania were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Experiments were conducted to compare the photocatalytic activities of nitrogen-doped TiO2 nanocatalysts and commercially available Degussa P25 powder using both UV illumination and solar light. It is shown that nitrogen-doped TiO2 after calcination had the highest photocatalytic activity among all three catalysts tested, with 95% of AO7 decolorized in 1 h under UV illumination. The doped TiO2 also exhibited substantial photocatalytic activity under direct sunlight irradiation, with 70% of the dye color removed in 1h and complete decolorization within 3 h. Degussa P25 did not cause detectable dye decolorization under identical experimental conditions using solar light. The decrease of total organic carbon (TOC) and evolution of inorganic sulfate (SO4(2-)) ions in dye solutions were measured to monitor the dye mineralization process. 相似文献

5-Ethyl-5-phenylpyrimidine-2,4,6(1H, 3H, 5H)-trione is an anti-convulsant used to treat disorders of movement, e.g. tremors. This work deals with the transformation of phenobarbital by UV/TiO2 heterogeneous photocatalysis, to assess the decomposition of the pharmaceutical compound, to identify intermediates, as well as to elucidate some mechanistic details of the degradation. The photocatalytic removal efficiency of 100 μm phenobarbital is about 80% within 60 min, while the degradation efficiency of phenobarbital was better in alkaline solution. The study on contribution of reactive oxidative species (ROSs) has shown that OH is responsible for the major degradation of phenobarbital, while the photohole, photoelectrons and the other ROSs have the minor contribution to the degradation. Finally, based on the identification of degradation intermediates, two main photocatalytic degradation pathways have been tentatively proposed, including the hydroxylation and cleavage of pyrimidine ring in the phenobarbital molecule respectively. TiO2胶体从钛氧有机物水解制备,表征的方法有:X射线衍射光谱(XRD)、激光散射粒径分布、傅立叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)、X射线光电子谱(XPS)和透射电子显微镜(TEM)。利用罗丹明B染料分子作为探针分子研究TiO2胶体的光催化活性,分析了pH、催化剂用量、外加氧化剂(H2O2)用量及罗丹明B初始浓度对TiO2胶体光催化活性的影响。结果表明:制备的TiO2胶体粒子平均粒径为13.8 nm(激光散法测定),光催化降解罗丹明B染料的反应属于一级动力学反应,可以用Langmuir-Hinshewood模型加以描述,反应速率常数k1为0.08413 mg/(L.min),平衡吸附常数k2为1.5305 L/mg;在pH为6,TiO2胶体用量为0.04%,H2O2(含量30%)用量为0.2%(V/V),光照度为69.6μW/cm2时,5 h后罗丹明B染料的降解率可达到99%以上;相似的条件,0.2%的P25 TiO2粉体光催化处理染料水时,罗丹明B的降解率为90%。纳米TiO2胶体不仅可以提高罗丹明B的光催化降解率,还具有用量少,可有效降低水处理成本的特点。 相似文献

研究了负载于玻璃上的固定化催化剂TiO2膜光催化降解水中三氯乙醛的效果,探讨了TiO2膜光催化降解三氯乙醛的机理,考察了溶液pH值和三氯乙醛初始浓度埘TiO2膜光催化降解三氯乙醛的影响,并研究了固定化催化剂TiO2膜光催化降解三氯乙醛的动力学.结果表明,固定化催化剂TiO2膜光催化降解水中三氯乙醛的效果良好,当三氯乙醛初始浓度为2.25 mg/L时,在紫外光照时间3 h下,三氯乙醛的降解率高达100%.在相司紫外光照时间下,三氯乙醛的光催化降解率随着三氯乙醛初始浓度的增大而下降.在溶液pH=6.5时,三氯乙醛的降解效率最高.固定化催化剂TiO2膜光催化降解三氯乙醛的反应遵循一级反应动力学,反应速率常数随三氯乙醛初始浓度的增大而减小. 相似文献
