蒸汽灭火系统在酒类作业场所有着广阔的应用前景.通过全淹没和局部保护实验对蒸汽抑制熄灭酒精池火的有效性进行了研究.实验结果表明,全淹方式难以有效控火,但是布局合理的局部保护方式能够有效熄灭酒精池火.蒸汽灭火过程中稀释O2浓度的灭火机理起到的作用较小,蒸汽的火焰拉伸效果是其主导灭火机理. 相似文献

为了提高常规细水雾的灭火有效性,拓展其应用范围,本文采用小尺度实验的方法,研究了含氯化亚铁添加剂细水雾在不同燃料种类、添加剂浓度、压力下扑灭池火的有效性。实验结果表明:向细水雾中添加氯化亚铁,显著地影响了它的灭火性能;细水雾的灭火时间随着加入的氯化亚铁的质量浓度变化而发生改变,而且存在一个最短灭火时间浓度;细水雾喷头的工作压力和燃料的类型也对细水雾的灭火性能有影响,喷头工作压力越大,细水雾的平均灭火时间越短;在相同的实验条件下,细水雾灭煤油火的时间要短于灭乙醇火的时间。 相似文献

为了探讨开口的位置与尺寸对受限空间内的细水雾灭火有效性的影响,设计了一个尺寸为1.2 m×1.2 m×1.2 m的特殊受限空间模拟实验台,开展了一系列细水雾灭火对比实验,测量了烟气温度以及灭火时间等实验参数,通过改变实验燃料、火源功率、开口尺寸、开口位置等因素来研究开口对特殊受限空间内细水雾灭火有效性的影响规律。结果表明:在特殊受限空间内,相同条件下,开口位置由下至上,细水雾抑制火灾有效性由低至高;开口尺寸由大至小,细水雾抑制火灾有效性由高至低。当开口尺寸足够小以后,细水雾抑制火灾有效性反而会逐渐增强。 相似文献

为了评估超细粉体灭火装置用于电火花成形机床的技术可行性,通过全尺度灭火实验研究与计算分析,研究超细粉体灭火装置对电火花成形机床火灾的灭火有效性,进一步提出适宜的灭火应用方式和灭火剂设计用量计算方法。结果表明,超细粉体灭火装置可迅速、有效扑灭电火花成形机火灾,超细粉体灭火剂的最低灭火用量为90g,装置响应时间为7~24s,灭火时间为1~4s;基于顶部敞口设计模式的电火花成形机床不符合全淹没灭火应用条件,应采用局部灭火应用方式;根据局部应用灭火系统体积法设计方法,提出了超细粉体灭火装置用于电火花成形机床时的灭火剂设计用量计算方法。该研究有助于超细粉体灭火装置的工程设计,对电火花成形机床的火灾防护具有重要意义。 相似文献

The behavior of fire suppression by water mist spray has been studied by using the experimental setup which employs the double-based solid propellant gas generator for water mist production. The burning products of solid fuel form a supersonic flow injected through the nozzle into the diffuser chamber having input for the water component ejected from the storage. High values of temperature and pressure at stagnation point impart the substantial kinetic energy to the flow, which provides the atomization of water droplets into mist spray. Since the water evaporation occurs already in the diffuser chamber due to the high temperature of input gas flow, the droplet size is gradually decreases to the lower limit value that could ever exist. The presence of vapor phase enlarges the volume of fire extinguishing jet allowing it to operate as a flooding agent (along with the effect of heat consumption due to water evaporation) at the very beginning of fire suppression process, much before the water droplets evaporation by the flame itself. Proposed technique of the water mist production has showed noticeable fire suppression capability through the series of testing application to the gasoline and wood model fire sources. 相似文献

The use of a water curtain system to prevent fire spread has been extensively investigated, but the case of an inclined jet fire inhibited with a water curtain is not involved. A series of experiments were conducted on inclined hydrogen jet fires with various fuel flow rates, nozzle diameters and inclination angles under the influence of a vertical water curtain. This study aims to explore the burning behaviors of inclined jet flames at the impingement area, specifically the flame extension lengths. The experimental results show that an increase in fuel flow rates or nozzle diameter leads to a larger flame extension length. With the increase of flame inclination angle, the flame extension length decreases and the influence of nozzle diameter on the flame extension length is attenuated. A new dimensionless heat release rate is proposed to correlate with the dimensionless flame extension length by incorporating an air entrainment coefficient. The model built in this study can be used to predict the flame extension length of jet flames with different diameters, fuel flows and inclinations under the influence of a water curtain, and is validated by data in the previous study. 相似文献

细水雾的喷射方式对其灭火效果存在一定的影响。利用时间继电器控制细水雾灭火系统的启停,开展了连续式和脉冲式两种喷射方式的细水雾对开门与关门两种通风条件下不同燃料油池火分别进行抑制的试验研究。结果表明:在试验条件下,对于开门状态下连续式细水雾难以扑灭的汽油池火,脉冲式细水雾能显著提高灭火效果;对于连续式细水雾容易扑灭的柴油池火及关门状态下的汽油池火,脉冲式细水雾不能提高灭火效果,且灭火时间和用水量均有所增加;对于细水雾难以扑灭的酒精池火,连续式细水雾和脉冲式细水雾均未有效扑灭火焰。 相似文献

障碍物影响下细水雾灭火有效性的研究具有重要的意义。研究了障碍物与火焰的相对位置、细水雾工作压力、喷头距离火焰垂直距离及水平距离等因素对灭火有效性的影响,以及细水雾作用下火灾烟气中一氧化碳、二氧化碳及氧气浓度的变化规律等。结果表明:高压细水雾可以有效扑救部分有障碍物遮挡的油池火,同时喷头距离火焰的水平距离和垂直距离也显著影响着细水雾的灭火速度;高压细水雾在灭火过程中火场的氧气浓度明显升高,二氧化碳和一氧化碳浓度明显降低;细水雾工作压力较低时,一氧化碳浓度反而有所增加。 相似文献

Effect of water mist on the small-scale solid fuel polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fire in the confined space has been studied experimentally with the heat release rate measured by a cone calorimeter in this paper.The water mist is generated by a single pressure nozzle and the diffusion flame is produced from PVC samples respectively. The LDV/APV system is employed to determine the water mist characteristics. The Cone Calorimeter is used to measure the heat release rate, oxygen and carbon monoxide concentrations and other important parameters of the interaction under various conditions.The results of the test showed that heat extraction cooling (flame cooling and fuel surface cooling) plays a dominating role to suppress the PVC fire, when the water mist with enough volume flux are applied to the diffusion flame in the confined space. The higher the operation pressure, the easier the suppression. The faster the PVC fire suppressed by water mist with large enough water flux, the less the total amount of toxic gases (CO, CO2) produced. 相似文献
