电镀污泥重金属浸出对电镀污泥资源化利用具有重要意义。为了降低处置成本,采用嗜酸硫杆菌与黑曲霉对电镀污泥重金属浸出效果进行了研究。结果表明,采用嗜酸性氧化硫硫杆菌和氧化亚铁硫杆菌混合菌种对含固率为3%的电镀污泥进行为期15 d(培养驯化后)的处理后,污泥中Ni、Cr与Cu的浸出率虽分别高达92.8%、85.0%和96.8%,但耗时久,无法大规模地实际应用。利用黑曲霉对电镀污泥进行为期6 d的处理,Ni、Cr和Cu的浸出率分别达到92.0%、74.4%和55.3%。若采用黑曲霉培养15 d后产生的生物有机酸和同pH的柠檬酸处理电镀污泥4 h后,两者对Ni、Cr和Cu的浸出率分别为:85.0%与94.2%、63.8%与73.7%、57.9%与99.6%。可见,利用黑曲霉发酵菌液浸出电镀污泥中重金属有一定的实际应用价值。  相似文献

采用中温焙烧/钠化氧化法从电镀污泥中回收铬.结果表明,影响铬浸出率的最主要因素为焙烧温度.电镀污泥与碳酸钠质量比、焙烧时间、水浸时间对铬浸出率的影响较接近,在水浸水固比为10.0 ; 1.0(质量比)、室温、焙烧温度为650℃、焙烧时间为2.0h、电镀污泥与碳酸钠质量比为1:1、水浸时间为60 min的最佳浸出条件下,铬浸出率为99.3%;去除氢氧化铝、氢氧化锌的最佳反应温度和pH分别为90~95℃和7.5;去除硫酸钠晶体的最佳pH为4.0,在最佳试验条件下,铬回收率为90.57%.  相似文献

针对电镀污泥加碱、石灰焙烧灰渣水浸过程铝浸出率较低的问题,在分析电镀废水处理工艺的基础上,根据污泥中铝、铬、锌、铜等金属的存在相态以及焚烧过程所发生的化学反应,拟采用低浓度氢氧化钠溶液先选择性浸出污泥中的铝。研究了稀氢氧化钠溶液浸出铝的工艺条件,结果表明,电镀污泥用2 mol·L~(-1)氢氧化钠在90℃浸出60 min,铝的浸出率可达95%以上,而铬、锌和铜等金属则大部分进入浸出渣,基本上达到铝与其他金属的初步分离的目的。研究结果为混合电镀污泥中铝的回收以及铝及其他金属的选择性分步分离工艺流程的选择提供理论与技术支持。  相似文献

将电镀污泥作为一种重要的重金属资源加以回收利用,逐渐成为了国内外研究的重点。以电镀污泥为研究对象,在不同的温度及不同的焙烧时间下进行直接焙烧和还原焙烧,并对焙烧底渣进行酸浸,分别研究了污泥减量率以及Cu、Ni、Zn和Cr 4种重金属的含量和浸出率,并探索了还原剂(煤粉)和催化剂(CaCO3)投加量的影响。实验结果表明,原始电镀污泥中,Cu含量最高,达到10.05%,因此,电镀污泥中Cu具有回收价值;焙烧后电镀污泥得到了减量化,同时污泥中的金属得到了富集;还原焙烧比直接焙烧更有利于Cu的选择性浸出,当煤粉投加量为10%,CaCO3投加量为0.5%,在700℃下焙烧20 min时,Cu的浸出率达到98.73%,Cu的含量达到15.07%。  相似文献

将电镀污泥作为混合材料掺到水泥中,取代部分水泥熟料制备电镀污泥基胶凝材料。测定了胶凝材料试样的标准稠度用水量、凝结时间、胶砂流动度、强度等物理性能指标,同时分析胶凝材料试样的微观水化性能与累积孔体积,测定了胶凝材料的重金属浸出浓度。结果表明,在电镀污泥掺量为0.5%(质量分数,下同)时,制备的胶凝材料试样强度达到《通用硅酸盐水泥》(GB175—2007)规定的52.5R级水泥强度标准;在掺量为1.5%、2.5%时,制备的胶凝材料试样强度达到GB 175—2007规定的42.5R级水泥强度标准,且重金属浸出浓度满足《危险废物鉴别标准浸出毒性鉴别》(GB 5085.3—2007)要求。微观测试表明,电镀污泥的掺入使得水化放热总量降低。  相似文献

合理、经济地处理混合电镀污泥,回收其中有价值的金属具有重要意义。以不同的酸作为浸出剂对电镀污泥中的金属进行了浸出效果实验。结果表明,在相同条件下,各酸的浸出效果顺序为:硫酸>盐酸>王水>硝酸;液体水与固体电镀污泥比为3,干污泥为5 g,硫酸加入量为15 mL,时间1 h条件下,混合电镀污泥中金属铜锌的浸出率最大,达到97.38%。分别采用铁和铁锰合金还原剂常温还原低熔点重金属离子铜、锌,浸出液中99%以上含量的铜、锌沉淀,使低熔点重金属与黑色金属铁、锰、铬有效分离。低熔点混合重金属可以用来做铜合金添加剂使用,最后沉淀的混合黑色金属氢氧化物处理后可以用来做炼钢合金添加剂使用。  相似文献

分别以煤粉和稻杆为还原剂对电镀污泥进行还原焙烧,并通过酸浸回收焙烧渣中的金属。研究了焙烧温度、焙烧时间和还原剂投加量对目标金属Cu浸出率的影响以及主要杂质金属的浸出性,并采用BCR逐级提取法分析了焙烧前后污泥中的金属形态分布。结果表明,当在电镀污泥中投加30%的煤粉在600℃下焙烧1h后Cu的浸出率达到97.78%,当投加50%的稻杆时浸出率为89.47%,而氧化焙烧后浸出率仅为37.71%;并且还原焙烧渣中多数杂质金属的浸出率较低,从而可以实现Cu与杂质金属的初步分离。氧化焙烧容易导致金属从易浸出的非残渣态向难浸出的残渣态转化,而还原焙烧则能抑制这种转化过程,金属形态是决定其浸出性的重要因素。  相似文献

焙烧-酸浸法可有效回收电镀污泥中的有价金属,而污泥的热处理特性是决定能否采用焙烧预处理的重要因素。研究了氧化焙烧和还原焙烧对污泥成分和金属浸出性的影响,并对焙烧前后的污泥进行了金属形态分析和X射线衍射(XRD)分析。结果表明,焙烧预处理实现了污泥减量和金属富集;ES1经氧化焙烧后金属浸出率接近原泥,Cu的浸出率达99%;ES2的还原焙烧效果优于氧化焙烧,特别是Cu的浸出率超过97%,XRD分析发现,还原焙烧过程中金属Cu被还原为铁铜合金;2种焙烧均造成了ES3中目标金属Ni的浸出率的降低;金属浸出性的下降与残渣态的形成有关。  相似文献

为了提高危险废物电镀污泥的高值化利用程度,研究了掺加CaSO4对含磨细粉(由电镀污泥协同建筑渣土高温处理渣料磨细得到)水泥基材料力学性能、微观结构特征及重金属浸出的影响及机理。结果表明:CaSO4掺量(基于其在胶凝材料的质量占比)为0.6%时,其长期力学性能较优,含磨细粉水泥基材料养护60 d后抗压强度和抗折强度比未掺加CaSO4时分别提升20.1%和22.2%。适量的CaSO4可以补充含磨细粉水泥基材料基体中Ca2+含量,促进水泥和磨细粉中具有潜在水化活性的组分充分进行水化,同时使基体中生成更多的钙矾石填充孔隙,从而增强了基体结构密实度。研究还发现多余钙矾石的形成对重金属离子的固结起到了正向作用,适量的CaSO4掺加能明显降低含磨细粉水泥基材料基体中有害重金属离子的浸出浓度。当CaSO4掺量为0.6%时,含磨细粉水泥基材料养护28 d后,Cu、Ni、Zn的浸出率比未掺加CaSO4时分别降低了33.6、31.0、...  相似文献

以城市污泥为部分原料制备烧结砖,对不同烧成温度下不同污泥掺量的烧结砖的物理、力学性能进行了详细分析。结果表明,污泥可用于制备烧结砖,当污泥掺量≤12%,烧成温度为1 100℃时,烧结砖物理力学性能均符合烧结砖标准要求。此外,实验以污泥掺量为12%的烧结砖,烧成温度为1 100℃为例,进行了重金属毒性浸出实验,以考察烧制污泥砖对重金属的固化作用,进而评定污泥制砖的安全性。结果表明,经过高温焙烧,大多数重金属浸出毒性都显著降低,且符合规范要求,不会对环境造成危害。其中,重金属固化效果最好的为Zn,最差的为Cr。  相似文献

Goals, Scope and Background

From 2005, deposition of organic waste will be banned in Sweden. Likewise, in Germany and Austria, similar bans are being planned, and further countries will probably follow. Thus, there is a need to develop new methods and to refine established techniques for sludge management in the whole of the European Union. For this end, there is also an urgent need for appropriate ecotoxicological approaches to elucidate and assess the hazard potential of sewage sludge. Therefore, the present study was designed to assess the capacity of various established sludge treatment methods using different oxygen regimes to degrade recalcitrant nitro-substituted organic compounds and reduce their toxicity. Sewage sludge samples from a wastewater treatment plant in Sweden (Cambrex Karlskoga AB, industrial area Björkborn) receiving wastewater from industries manufacturing pharmaceutical substances, chemical intermediates and explosives were processed with different sludge treatment methods. Among other treatment methods, bioreactors (for anaerobic and aerobic sludge treatment) were used. In the present investigation, a battery ofin vitro bioassays was employed to compare the cytotoxic and genotoxic potentials of different fractions of sludge samples in order to elucidate whether the treatments were suitable to reduce the toxicity of the sludge.

Methods

In order to investigate the cytotoxicity of the extracts of treated and untreated sludge samples, the acute cytotoxicity test with the permanent cell line RTL-W1 was used. Genotoxicity was tested by means of the comet assay (single cell gel electro-phoresis) with RTL-W1cells, and mutagenicity was assessed with the Ames test using the Salmonella typhimurium strains TA98, TA98NR and TA100. Sludge toxicity was tested in different fractions of organic extracts produced by acetone and hexane extractions. The subsequent clean-up procedure (silica gel chro-matography and elution with hexane and dichloromethane) resulted in two fractions, a lipophilic hexane-fraction and a semi-lipophilic dichloromethane-fraction. For the genotoxicity and mutagenicity tests, these fractions were reunited at equal ratios.

Results and Discussion

The acute cytotoxicity test with RTL-Wl cells revealed a high cytotoxic potential for the semi-li-pophilic DM-fractions of all sludge samples with NR50 values (= effective concentration for 50% cell death in the neutral red test) from 8.9 up to 20 mg sludge d.w./ml medium. A low cytotoxic potential for the hexane fractions of the untreated sludge samples (NR50 400 to < 400 mg sludge d.w./ml medium) was observed, whereas the hexane fractions of the treated sludge samples showed elevated cytotoxicity increasing further with treatment in the bioreactors. The comet assay indicated that three out of eight of the reunited fractions had a significant genotoxic potential. Whereas the genotoxic potential of one sample treated anaerobically was very high with an induction factor of 11.6, a similar sample (taken from the same anaerobic reactor four months later) and one untreated sample showed lower potentials. The samples treated in another anaerobic bioreactor as well as the samples treated aerobically showed no genotoxic potential. Results indicate that aerobic treatment was basically adequate for reducing the genotoxicity of the sludge, whereas anaerobic treatment was only partly useful for reduction of genotoxicity. The Ames test revealed a very high mutagenic potential for the reunited fractions of the untreated sludge samples with strain TA98 (maximum induction factors (IFmax up to 45) and a relatively high potential for one of the samples treated aerobically (S2, IFmax = 18 (TA98, S9-)), thus documenting the suitability of both anaerobic and aerobic treatments to reduce the mutagenicity of the samples, however, with the aerobic treatment being less effective. Conclusions. Overall, none of the microbiological treatments for wastewater sludge in bioreactors was found to be ideal for general toxicity reduction of the sludge samples. Whereas cytotoxicity of the sludge increased or levelled off in most cases following either treatment, genotoxicity both increased or decreased after anaerobic treatment, depending on the specific sample. However, mutagenicity could generally be reduced by anaerobic treatment and, to a lesser degree, by aerobic treatment. Recommendationsand Perspectives. The complex modification of the diverse damage potentials of sludge sample extracts by use of anin vitro biotest battery following treatment for toxicity reduction in bioreactors showed that considerations of different toxicological endpoints is essential for an adequate hazard assessment. Whereas in the case of cytotoxicity reduction, the reactors proved ineffective, mutagenicity could be reduced significantly at least in some cases in this case study.

The chemical and ecotoxicological characteristics of fresh and stabilized industrial organic sludge leachates were compared to obtain information regarding how the stabilization process can influence the ecotoxic potential of this industrial waste, which could be used for the amendment of degraded soil. Physicochemical analysis of the sludge leachates, as well as a battery of eco(geno)toxicity tests on bacteria, algae, daphnids, and higher plants (including Vicia faba genotoxicity test) and the determination of hydrolytic enzyme activity, was performed according to standard methods. The chemical comparison of the two types of leachate showed that the samples obtained from stabilized sludge had a lower organic content and higher metal content than leachates of the fresh sludge. The eco(geno)toxicological results obtained with aquatic organisms showed that the stabilized sludge leachate was more toxic than the fresh sludge leachate, both originating from the same industrial organic sludge sample. Nevertheless, phytotoxicity tests carried out with a reference peat soil irrigated with stabilized sludge leachate showed the same toxicity as the fresh sludge leachate. In the case of the industrial solid organic sludge studied, stabilization through a biodegradation process promoted a higher metal mobility/bioavailability/eco(geno)toxicity in the stabilized sludge leachate compared to the fresh sludge leachate.  相似文献

Azo dye decolourisation by anaerobic granular sludge   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
The decolourisation of 20 selected azo dyes by granular sludge from an upward-flow anaerobic sludge bed (UASB) reactor was assayed. Complete reduction was found for all azo dyes tested, generally yielding colourless products. The reactions followed first-order kinetics and reaction rates varied greatly between dyes: half-life times ranged from 1 to about 100 h. The slowest reaction rates were found for reactive dyes with a triazine reactive group. There was no correlation between a dye's half-life time and its molecular weight, indicating that cell penetration was probably not an important factor. Since granular sludge contains sulphide, eight dyes were also monitored for direct chemical decolourisation by sulphide. All these dyes were reduced chemically albeit at slower rates than in the presence of sludge at comparable sulphide levels. Increasing sulphide concentrations, even when present in huge excess, stimulated the azo reduction rate. The results indicate that granular sludge can decolourise a broad spectrum of azo dye structures due to non-specific extracellular reactions. Reducing agents (e.g., sulphide) in sludge play an important role. The presence of anaerobic biomass is probably beneficial for maintaining the pools of these reduced compounds.  相似文献

污水处理过程中,二沉池的泥水分离影响整套工艺的效果,用投加混凝剂来降低活性污泥胶体颗粒表面的zeta电位(以下简写活性污泥zeta电位),增加了运行成本.通过磁场磁化可以降低活性污泥zeta电位,达到节省药剂的目的.研究了磁感应强度、磁化时间、磁场位型以及搅拌速率对氧化沟活性污泥zeta电位的影响规律.研究表明,磁化处理能降低活性污泥zeta电位,在磁场中心磁感应强度为0.40 T左右及反应器与磁场平行静置磁化时,zeta电位降低幅度最大,平均在46.5%~51.4%.  相似文献

Particle size distribution (PSD) analysis was used to evaluate the quality of mixed liquors collected from different activated sludge process modifications (i.e., conventional activated sludge, modified Ludzack-Ettinger, high-purity oxygen, step-anoxic, and oxidation ditch). An experiment protocol was developed to define the allowable sample holding time and provide representative and repeatable results. Samples of 26 treatment plants, with a total of 37 samples, were tested. A new indicator, called mean particle size (MPS), was introduced to describe the integrated mean particle size. The results of MPSs of three cut-off sizes (0.5 to 50, 100, and 200 microm) showed that the average size of mixed-liquor biosolids increased with increasing solids retention time (SRT), and the number of particles in the sedimentation supernatant decreased with increasing SRT. Particle deflocculation occurred after excessive sample holding time, and analysis within 12 hours generally eliminated sample holding problems. The results provide a methodology using PSD for characterizing mixed-liquor biosolids.  相似文献

根据高浓度油脂废水生物降解处理采用酵母一级处理-SBR法二级处理的连续净化工艺的要求,使用规模为20 L的SBR反应器对城市生活污水处理用的活性污泥进行强制性驯化,并以驯化的活性污泥菌直接应用于SBR法处理含油废水.实验发现该小型SBR法的工艺技术方案可行,系统抗冲击负荷能力强,整个系统运行比较稳定,对于含高浓度油脂的油脂精练加工厂实际排放污水处理效果良好,油脂和COD的去除率分别连续稳定在95%和90%以上,出水水质指标达到国家一级排放标准的要求.  相似文献

长期以来,对城市污水处理后产生的污泥处置一直是环保的难题,传统的处理处置方法均存在诸多问题,寻求一种好的处理处置污泥方法迫在眉睫。针对目前的问题运用带约束条件的配方均匀设计方法对粉煤灰-脱水污泥陶粒配方进行实验设计,运用三叶回转窑进行小试。研究了陶粒组分中粉煤灰、污泥、黏土的比例对烧成陶粒堆积密度、颗粒强度的影响;确定了最佳物料配比,使陶粒的性能测试指标均符合GB/17431.2-1998标准的规定。实验结果表明:烧制陶粒湿比例下脱水污泥用量达45%,干比例污泥用量15.2%,污泥减量化和资源化效果显著;陶粒浸出毒性实验结果表明各项指标均低于浸出液中危害成分浓度限值,达到了污泥无害化的效果;粉煤灰、污泥和黏土的优化质量(干)比例为79%,15.2%,5.8%;陶粒的堆积密度为600 kg/m3,筒压强度2.2 MPa,1 h吸水率10.2%,粒型系数1.3。  相似文献
