The effects of powdered activated carbon(PAC) addition on sludge morphological, aggregative and microbial properties in a dynamic membrane bioreactor(DMBR) were investigated to explore the enhancement mechanism of pollutants removal and filtration performance. Sludge properties were analyzed through various analytical measurements. The results showed that the improved sludge aggregation ability and the evolution of microbial communities affected sludge morphology in PAC-DMBR, as evidenced by the formation of large, regularly shaped and strengthened sludge flocs. The modifications of sludge characteristics promoted the formation process and filtration flux of the dynamic membrane(DM) layer. Additionally, PAC addition did not exert very significant influence on the propagation of eukaryotes(protists and metazoans)and microbial metabolic activity. High-throughput pyrosequencing results indicated that adding PAC improved the bacterial diversity in activated sludge, as PAC addition brought about additional microenvironment in the form of biological PAC(BPAC), which promoted the enrichment of Acinetobacter(13.9%), Comamonas(2.9%), Flavobacterium(0.31%) and Pseudomonas(0.62%), all contributing to sludge flocs formation and several(such as Acinetobacter) capable of biodegrading relatively complex organics. Therefore, PAC addition could favorably modify sludge properties from various aspects and thus enhance the DMBR performance.  相似文献

胞外聚合物(Extracellular polymeric substance,EPS)是导致膜污染的重要物质,且不同形态污泥的EPS具有不同的性质,研究正常污泥和膨胀污泥的EPS膜污染特性具有重要意义.因此,实验考察了正常污泥和膨胀污泥的膜污染速率.结果表明,膨胀污泥膜污染速率远高于正常污泥,膨胀污泥EPS(Bulking sludge-EPS,BS-EPS)浓度((172.9±10.4) mg·g-1)明显高于正常污泥EPS(Normal sludge-EPS,NS-EPS)浓度((95.9±6 6) mg·g-1),且膨胀污泥的蛋白质/多糖(Protein/Carbohydrate,P/C)值(2.26)高于正常污泥的P/C值(1 97)此外,通过序批式吸附实验研究了正常污泥和膨胀污泥的EPS膜污染差异,并基于Derjaguine-Landaue-Verweye-Overbeek (XDLVO)理论计算了EPS与PVDF膜表面之间的作用能结果表明,EPS-膜系统的总界面能为负值,即EPS-膜系统之间会发生自吸附行为,而膜与BS-EPS的总界面能(-63.943mJ.m2)较膜与NS-EPS(-56.366 mJ·m2)具有较高的能量,因此,BS-EPS与膜的吸附力较强;NS-EPS和BS-EPS主要能量壁垒分别为8.89 kT和7.51 kT,表明NS-EPS与膜之间的排斥力更强,因而BS-EPS更容易造成膜污染  相似文献

Three identical membrane bioreactors (MBRs) were operated over 2 years at different sludge retention time (SRT) of 10 d, 40 d and no sludge withdrawal (NS), to elucidate and quantify the effect of SRT on the sludge characteristics and membrane fouling. The hydraulic retention times of these MBRs were controlled at 12 h. With increasing SRT, the sludge concentrations in the MBRs increased, whereas the ratio of volatile suspended solid to the total solid decreased, and the size of sludge granule diminished in the meantime. A higher sludge concentration at long SRT could maintain a better organic removal efficiency, and a longer SRT was propitious to the growth of nitrifiers. The performance of these MBRs for the removal of COD and NH4+-N did not change much with different SRTs. However, the bioactivity decreased as SRT increase. The measurement of specific oxygen uptake rates (SOUR) and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) with rRNA-targeted oligonucleotide probes testified that SOUR and the proportion of the bacteria-specific probe EUB338 in all DAPI-stainable bacteria decreased with increasing SRT. The concentrations of total organic carbon, protein, polysaccharides and soluble extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) in the mixed liquor supernatant also decreased with increasing SRT. The membrane fouling rate was higher at shorter SRT, and the highest fouling rate appeared at a SRT of 10 d. Both the sludge cake layer and gel layer had contribution to the fouling resistance, but the relative contribution of the gel layer decreased as SRT increase.  相似文献

研究了污泥龄对胞外聚合物(EPS)总量、紧密粘附胞外聚合物(TB)和松散附着胞外聚合物(LB)含量及其中蛋白质与多糖比例的影响.结果表明,随污泥龄的延长,混合液EPS总量增加,TB和LB中蛋白质与多糖比例发生变化.这种变化改变了细菌表面电荷分布,增大了细菌表面亲水基和疏水基的比例,使细菌的存在状态由不稳定型(R型)向稳定型(S型)转变,降低了混合液Zeta电位,SVI值增大.采用SPSS软件对膜污染的主要因子进行了相关性分析,Zeta电位、上清液悬浮固体浓度、相对疏水性的相关系数分别为-0.818、0.853、0.832.综合考虑膜污染阻力和污泥特性,膜生物反应器的污泥龄应控制在优势菌最小世代时间的120倍以下.  相似文献

结合连续流小试,对膜.生物反应器运行过程中,活性污泥沉降性能的变化及其对膜污染的影响进行了研究.结果表明,随着运行时间的增长,该系统内丝状菌大量繁殖,活性污泥沉降性能变差,SVI值升高.随之,膜过滤压差(过滤阻力)平均上升速率有所增加,膜过滤周期缩短.膜过滤压差的“两阶段性(平缓上升期和加速上升期)”变化规律趋于明显,平缓上升期和加速上升期的膜过滤压差上升速率随污泥SVI值的升高分别呈现下降和上升的趋势.污泥沉降性能的变化对膜污染过程产生明显影响.电镜观察表明,污泥沉降性能对膜过滤压差的影响与膜面污染层的结构和厚度有关.  相似文献

采用在线超声控制膜-生物反应器的膜污染,通过测定活性污泥混合液絮体粒径、胞外多聚物含量、上清液有机物浓度、污泥浓度和黏度的变化,探讨了超声波对膜-生物反应器中活性污泥混合液性质的影响.结果表明:在线超声使污泥絮体破碎,其平均粒径与未施加超声波的系统相比降低约20μm左右;污泥胞外聚合物含量降低(28±5)mg·g-1左右,致使混合液上清液TOC增加;但同时超声波的施加可以降低污泥浓度和混合液黏度,使混合液膜过滤性得到改善,有助于膜污染的控制.  相似文献

Sewage sludge (SS) and deinking sludge (DS) were used to comparatively study the hydrothermal dewatering of sludge with different components. For a better overview, an insight into the relationship between physicochemical properties and dewaterability of hydrothermal sludge was provided. Results found that not all kinds of sludge were suitably conditioned by hydrothermal treatment (HT) in term of the elevation of dewaterability. Higher hydrothermal temperature tended to enhance the dewaterability of SS rather than DS, which was supported by the variation of their physicochemical properties (including water distribution, bonding energy, extracellular polymeric substance (EPS), particles size, acid functional groups and zeta potential in this study). In addition, the changes in surface morphology suggested that the reverse effect of HT on sludge dewaterability was mainly due to their dewatering behavior. For SS, the destruction of EPS structure leaded to the release of bound water, thereby strengthening sludge dewatering. Conversely, “Bridging effect” generated by lignocellulose in DS was beneficial for sludge dewatering; however, the increasing hydrothermal temperature degraded part of lignocellulose and weakened “bridging effect”, finally resulting in worse dewaterability of DS.  相似文献

It was focused on the effect of different sludge concentrations on the performances of an algal-activated sludge symbiotic system in terms of wastewater treatment, algal-activated sludge characteristics and community structure. The results showed that the highest nutrient removal efficiencies were obtained in the reactor R~2 with soluble chemical oxygen demand(sC OD), ammonia nitrogen(NH_4~+-N) and phosphate(PO_4~(3-)-P) removal efficiencies of(90.6 ± 2.3)%,(97.69 ± 2.6)% and(83.81 ± 2.3)%, respectively. Further investigation exhibited that sludge concentration has a great effect on the dissolved oxygen(DO) concentration, the pH, the growth of algae and the extracellular polymeric substance(EPS) production, which resulted in influencing the settleability and the performance of symbiotic system. The denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE) analysis demonstrated that the sludge concentration had a selective power for particular members of algae. Meantime, the stimulated algal population would selectively excite the members of bacteria benefited for the formation of algal-bacterial consortia.The variation of microbial compositions, which was influenced by the different sludge concentrations, might be ultimately responsible for the different treatment performances.  相似文献

Aerobic granular sludge was cultivated adopting internal-circulate sequencing batch airlift reactor.The contradistinctive experiment about short-term membrane fouling between aerobic granular sludge system and activated sludge system were investigated.The membrane foulants was also characterized by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy technique.The results showed that the aerobic granular sludge had excellent denitrification ability;the removal efficiency of TN could reach 90%.The aerobic granular sludge could alleviate membrane fouling effectively.The steady membrane flux of aerobic granular sludge was twice as much as that of activated sludge system.In addition,it was found that the aerobic granular sludge could result in severe membrane pore-blocking, however,the activated sludge could cause severe cake fouling.The major components of the foulants were identified as comprising of proteins and polysaccharide materials.  相似文献

为了揭示有机物和Ca2+浓度对纳滤膜生物污染的影响机制,选用铜绿假单胞菌(PA)为模式菌株,海藻酸钠(SA)、牛血清白蛋白(BSA)和腐殖酸(HA)为典型废水有机物,采用extended derjaguin–landau–verwey–overbeek(XDLVO)理论定量解析了不同进水条件下膜预处理和生物污染过程的界面相互作用.结果表明,Ca2+浓度为5mmol/L时,SA预处理后膜面亲水性最强,粘聚自由能高达42.96mJ/m2,与PA、SA的界面自由能最高,分别为45.85和39.64mJ/m2,抑制膜的生物污染.而Ca2+浓度为2mmol/L时,BSA预处理后膜面疏水性最强,粘聚自由能低至–40.32mJ/m2,与PA、BSA的界面自由能最低,分别为3.49和–26.36mJ/m2,促进膜的生物污染.所有污染过程中,范德华作用能差异较小,而静电作用能绝对值极小,贡献微弱,有机物和Ca2+浓度对膜生物污染的影响主要体现在对疏水作用能的影响.  相似文献

采用树脂吸附脱附的方法对厌氧膜生物反应器(AnMBR)中溶解性微生物代谢产物(SMP)的6种亲疏水性有机物进行了分离,其中,亲水中性物质是SMP的主要成分,占总有机物的74.84%.多糖、蛋白质和腐殖质类物质在亲疏水性有机物中均有分布.采用恒压死端过滤的方式对比分析了6种亲疏水性有机物的微滤特性,发现在TOC浓度相同的条件下,亲水性碱(HIB)是造成膜通量下降最快的物质,其次是亲水中性物(HIN)和疏水性酸(HOA),膜通量下降速率与有机物平均粒径呈指数相关关系(R2=0.9965).采用过滤模型对微滤过程进行拟合,HOA、HIN和HIB的过滤过程分别符合标准堵塞模型、中间过滤模型和滤饼过滤模型的特征,与其粒径分布特征相对应.试验进一步对比了亲疏水性有机物污染层的可逆性,结果表明HIN造成的膜污染不易通过物理反冲洗得到恢复.  相似文献

通过长达345d的中试规模试验,研究比较了蠕虫在膜生物反应器(MBR)和活性污泥法(CAS)的生长状况及其导致的污泥减量效果.CAS中的蠕虫生长状况明显优于MBR的蠕虫生长状况.MBR曝气池中平均蠕虫密度(10条·mg-1)远低于CAS曝气池中平均蠕虫密度(71条·mg-1),并且CAS中蠕虫连续保持高密度(>30条·mg-1)生长达172d.CAS中红斑瓢体虫和仙女虫交替成为优势蠕虫.蠕虫生长对MBR的污泥产率(0 40kg·kg-1)和污泥沉降性能(污泥沉降指数133mL·g-1)影响很小,但却能显著减少CAS的污泥产率(0 17kg·kg-1)和改善污泥沉降性能(污泥沉降指数为60mL·g-1).仙女虫比红斑瓢体虫能更大地减少污泥产量和更好地改善污泥沉降性能.蠕虫生长不影响MBR的COD去除率和出水水质,但却显著影响CAS的COD去除率和出水水质.  相似文献

SRT对UCT-MBR反硝化除磷性能与膜污染行为的影响   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
采用脱氮除磷膜生物反应器(UCT-MBR)工艺处理冀南地区城市污水,考察了SRT对UCT-MBR工艺反硝化除磷性能与膜污染行为的影响.结果表明:较短(15d)与较长(40d)SRT均不利于反硝化聚磷菌(DPAOs)的富集;SRT控制在25d时系统的反硝化除磷性能得到最大程度强化,反硝化聚磷菌(DPAOs)占聚磷菌(PAOs)的数量比例及缺氧除磷率达到最大值,分别稳定在50.9%和88%,并且此时系统总磷(TP)、总氮(TN)去除率也达到最大值91.7%、73.6%,出水浓度分别稳定在0.48, 13.3mg/L左右;SRT对系统COD、氨氮(NH4+-N)的去除效能影响不大,COD、NH4+-N平均去除率分别为89.8%、99.7%,出水浓度分别稳定在30.8, 0.15mg/L;随着SRT的延长,膜池混合液固体(MLSS)浓度升高,分子量大于100kDa、小于1kDa的溶解性微生物代谢产物(SMP)浓度和胞外聚合物(EPS)比污泥浓度升高及污泥粒径(PSD)减小,是导致膜池污泥可滤性变差的主要原因,从而致使系统膜渗透性加速降低、持续运行周期缩短,而红外光谱(FT-IR)分析表明SRT对膜污染物质的组成无显著影响,光谱折射率与SMP、EPS含量呈现一致性.  相似文献

Protein-like substances always induce severe ultrafiltration (UF) membrane fouling. To systematically understand the effect of proteins, regenerated cellulose UF membrane (commonly used for protein separation) performance was investigated in the presence of bovine serum albumin (BSA) under various water conditions. Results showed that although trypsin enhanced the membrane flux via proteolysis, catalysis took a long time. Membrane fouling was alleviated at high solution pH and low water temperature owing to the strong electrostatic repulsion force among BSA molecules. Both Na+ and Ca2+ could increase membrane flux. However, Ca2+ played a bridging role between adjacent BSA molecules, whereas membrane fouling was alleviated via a hydration repulsion force with Na+. The order of influence on membrane fouling was as follows: Ca2+ concentration > Na+ concentration > pH > temperature > trypsin concentration. Furthermore, a polyvinylidene fluoride UF membrane experiment showed that Ca2+ could reduce the fouling induced by BSA. Thus, the differences in UF membrane performance will have application potential for alleviating UF membrane fouling induced by proteins during water treatment.  相似文献

采用自生生物动态膜(SFDM)分离高浓度发酵产酸污泥(非牛顿流体),研究了自生动态膜对发酵污泥中发酵底物的截留及挥发性脂肪酸(VFAs)的选择透过性效果,考察了自生生物动态膜阻力构成和膜污染层成分.结果表明:自生动态膜在运行3d后,出水悬浮性固体(SS)基本保持在1.5g/L以下,多糖截留率为40%,蛋白质截留率为75%;运行5d时,溶解性化学需氧量(SCOD)截留率稳定在45%左右,可以稳定截留分子量较大的物质;VFAs的截留率仅维持在3%左右,可以选择性透过动态膜.自生动态膜运行阻力主要来自动态膜层,粘附在膜面的胞外蛋白质是主要膜污染贡献物质.  相似文献
