利用底盘测功机和粒径范围0.015~0.7 m的扫描迁移微粒测定仪 SMPS,对柴油出租车、柴油小巴车、汽油私家车和LPG出租车进行了高低怠速和10 kmh-1到70 kmh-1不同运行工况条件下排放的超细微粒粒径分布试验研究。研究表明:不同燃料车在不同工况条件下排放的细微粒尤其是超细微粒特征呈现显著的不同。柴油车贡献更多的是粒径在30~150 nm的核模态和积聚模态微粒,LPG和汽油车贡献更多的是15~30 nm的核模态微粒。总体上,柴油车比汽油车和LPG燃料车排放更多的微粒数和微粒质量;柴油车、汽油车和LPG车排放的SMPS可测细微粒总数、总质量分别约为(0.3~3.6) 108 cm-3,0.03~0.6 gcm-3;2.3×104~1.2×107 cm-3,8×10-5~0.1 gcm-3; 8.2×103~8.8×106 cm-3, 1.7×10-5~0.09 gcm-3;对所有测试汽车,在低怠速和低行驶速度时,排放微粒数少,在高怠速和高行驶速度时,排放微粒数多。  相似文献

The effects of anthropogenic activities, industrialization and urbanization on the accumulation of heavy metals and nutrients in sediments and water of rivers in the Pearl River Delta region were examined. Most sediments were seriously contaminated with Cd, Pb, and Zn in accordance with the classification by Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department. Total phosphorus (P) and nitrogen (N) concentrations in sediments ranged from 0.02% to 0.12% and 0.06% to 0.64%, respectively. High carbon (C), N, P and sulphur (S) levels at Yuen Long Creek were related to the discharge of industrial effluents along the river. The enrichment of P and ammoniacal-nitrogen (NH4+-N) in water were obvious. For most sites, the P concentration exceeded 0.1 mg/l, which is the recommended concentration in flowing water to encourage excessive growth of aquatic plants. Nine out of the 16 sites studied had NH4+-N concentration over 2 mg/l. The rivers in the south of Deep Bay (Hong Kong) had high nutrient exports compared with the rivers in the east region and western oceanic water. The concentrations of nitrate-nitrogen NO3--N in surface water were under the maximum contaminant level in public drinking water supplies (10 mg/l) except for one site. Although the concentrations of heavy metals in overlying water were low, their accumulations were significant. High contents of nickel (Ni) and zinc (Zn) in water were found at certain locations, suggesting the occurrence of some local contamination. These preliminary results indicated that river and sediment transported pollutants is likely one of the factors for the water quality degradation of Deep Bay water.  相似文献

Experiments were conducted on a 4-cylinder direct-injection diesel engine using ultralow sulfur diesel blended with biodiesel and ethanol to investigate the gaseous emissions of the engine under five engine loads at the maximum torque engine speed of 1800 rev min?1. Four biodiesel blended fuels and four ethanol blended fuels with oxygen concentrations of 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% were used. With the increase of oxygen content in the blended fuels, the brake thermal efficiency improves slightly.For the diesel-biodiesel fuels, the brake specific HC and CO emissions decrease while the brake specific NOx and NO2 emissions increase. The emissions of formaldehyde, 1,3-butadiene, toluene, xylene and overall BTX (benzene, toluene, xylene) in general decrease, however, acetaldehyde and benzene emissions increase. For the diesel-ethanol fuels, the brake specific HC and CO emissions increase significantly at low engine load, NOx emission decreases at low engine load but increases at high engine load. The emissions of benzene and BTX vary with engine load and ethanol content. Similar to the biodiesel-diesel fuels, the formaldehyde, 1,3-butadiene, toluene and xylene emissions decrease while the acetaldehyde and NO2 emissions increase. Despite having the same oxygen contents in the blended fuels, there are significant differences in the gaseous emissions between the biodiesel-diesel blends and the ethanol-diesel blends.  相似文献

The mutagenicity and genotoxicity of workplace dust including commercial office, secondary school, shopping mall, hospital, electronics factory and manufacturing plant in Hong Kong and settled house dust from Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou were measured. Results indicated that indoor dust contained both frameshift and base pair substitution mutagens. Dust from manufacturing plant showed highest mutagenic potency on TA98±S9 and TA100±S9 activation, whereas, electronics factory showed highest genotoxicity with and without S9 activation. TA100 (-S9) mutagenic potency was significantly correlated with genotoxicity expressed as SOSIP (-S9) of workplace dust (r(2)=0.37, p<0.01). The total PAHs concentration of settled house dust from PRD ranged from 1.63 to 29.2μg/g. Linear regression analyses indicated that the PAHs likely accounted for about 45% of the TA98 with S9 mutagenic activity of workplace dust. TA98 (-S9) mutagenicity (r(2)=0.27, p<0.05) and SOSIP (-S9) of house dust (r(2)=0.41, p<0.01) were both significantly correlated with the number of inhabitants in the house. To achieve a more accurate cancer risk assessment, the oral bioaccessibility of B(a)A, Chry, B(b+k)F, B(a)P, D(ah)A and I(cd)P in different dust ranging from 1.3% to 17% was taken into account. Risk assessments indicated that about 26% of house dust samples resulted in unacceptable cancer risk (>1×10(-6)) for preschool children.  相似文献

Problem

In 2006 Texas raised the daytime speed limit for passenger vehicles on segments of I-10 and I-20 from 75 to 80 mph. Methods: Traffic speeds were measured before and 3, 12, and 16 months after the limit was changed. Results: During the 16-month period following the speed limit increase, mean speeds of passenger vehicles on I-20 increased by 9 mph relative to the comparison road, where no speed limit change occurred and traffic speeds declined. On I-10 mean speeds increased by 4 mph relative to the comparison road. Limiting the analysis to the month before the speed limit change and 1 year later, the proportion of drivers exceeding 80 mph was 18 times higher on I-20 and 2 times higher on I-10. Discussion: The smaller speed increases on I-10 may be related to its proximity to the U.S. border with Mexico. Highly visible border patrol activity coincided with posting of the higher speed limit. Long-term monitoring in other states suggests that traffic speeds in Texas are likely to continue to increase. Impact on Industry: The present study adds to the wealth of evidence that increased speed limits lead to increased travel speeds. The primary countermeasures to reduce the risk of speed-related crashes include highly visible police traffic enforcement and the use of speed cameras accompanied by publicity.  相似文献

Experiments were conducted on a four-cylinder direct-injection diesel engine with part of the engine load taken up by fumigation methanol injected into the air intake of each cylinder to investigate the regulated and unregulated gaseous emissions and particulate emission of the engine under five engine loads at an engine speed of 1920 rev min?1. The fumigation methanol was injected to top up 10%, 20% and 30% of the engine load under different engine operating conditions.The experimental results show that at low engine loads, the brake thermal efficiency (BTE) decreases with increase in fumigation methanol; but at high engine loads, the BTE is not significantly affected by fumigation methanol. The fumigation methanol results in significant increase in hydrocarbon (HC), carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) emissions, but decrease in nitrogen oxides (NOx). For the unregulated gaseous emissions, unburned methanol, formaldehyde and BTX (benzene, toluene and xylene) emissions increase but ethyne, ethene and 1,3-butadiene emissions decrease. Particulate mass and number concentrations also decrease with increase in fumigation methanol. A diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) is found to reduce significantly most of the pollutants, including the air toxics, when the exhaust gas temperature is sufficiently high.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate the consequence of changing land use from agriculture land to other use purposes with respect to OCPs non-cancer and cancer risk on human health, based on concentrations of DDTs and HCHs in soils collected from 55 locations representing 12 different land use types. There were no non-cancer risks of DDTs and γ-HCHs on adults and children, and there were very low cancer risks of DDD, o,p'-DDE, DDT, α-HCH, β-HCH, γ-HCH based on their total concentrations in all samples. Nonetheless, there were significant correlations of DDT to its metabolites (DDE and DDD) (r = 0.506 and r = 0.648) and DDE to DDD (r = 0.438) both at p < 0.01. OCP levels should be routinely monitored in different environmental media and food in order to verify whether there is fresh input. Effects of low dissolved oxygen on early development and swimming behaviour of veliger larvae of the scavenging gastropod Nassarius festivus were studied. Embryonic development was significantly delayed when dissolved oxygen level was reduced to 3.0 mg O2 l−1 and no embryo hatched successfully at 0.5 mg O2 l−1. Veliger larvae hatched at 4.5 mg O2 l−1 had significantly smaller velar lobe, shell length and shell width. Median 48-h LC50 value of the veliger larvae was estimated at 1.25 mg O2 l−1 with lower swimming speed (swimming velocity and dispersal velocity) being recorded for the survivors exposed to reduced oxygen levels. The percentage of veliger larvae that developed into crawling juveniles was significantly reduced and metamorphosis was delayed at 4.5 mg O2 l−1 whereas all larvae at 3.5 mg O2 l−1 died before they underwent metamorphosis. Juveniles developed at 4.5 mg O2 l−1 were also smaller than those at 6.0 mg O2 l−1. Results indicated that dissolved oxygen levels well above hypoxia levels (2.8 mg O2 l−1) have already had significant impact on the hatching success and larval development in gastropods, which may lead to long-term decreases in population growth.  相似文献

Feeding selectivity of the intertidal scavenging gastropod Nassarius festivus on four types of tissue (soft tissue, adductor muscle, foot, mantle margin) of the venerid clam Marcia hiantina was studied by field observations and laboratory experiments. Both approaches showed similar results with the soft tissue and adductor muscle being much preferred. As the energy content of the four types of tissue was similar and individuals of N. festivus rearing in different types of tissue obtained similar growth rates both in shell length and in body wet weight, differential consumption was most likely determined by the palatability of the tissues. Energy intake in a meal for N. festivus was estimated at 10.92, 9.17, 3.86 and 2.02 cal meal−1 ind−1 for soft tissue, adductor muscle, mantle margin, and foot, respectively. In view of the small size and sporadic distribution of the carrion, and intense competition among the conspecifics, selective feeding on more palatable tissues maximizes energy intake for scavengers like N. festivus.  相似文献
