形状记忆合金作为一种集传感和驱动于一身的新型功能材料,引起了土木工程界的广泛关注,对它的研究也日益深入,但应用尚处于起步阶段。回顾了形状记忆合金的发展过程,简单介绍了形状记忆合金的基本特性和本构模型;根据形状记忆合金在结构控制中所起的作用,分类概述了它作为被动控制器和主动控制器的研究进展以及在实际工程中的应用,重点介绍了SMA智能混凝土的研究情况;指出了当前形状记忆合金在土木工程领域研究中存在的问题,以及未来的发展方向。  相似文献

Abundance vector estimation is a well investigated problem in statistical ecology. The use of simple random sampling with replacement or replicated sampling ensures good asymptotic properties of the abundance vector estimators. However, real surveys are based on small sample sizes, and assuming any specific distribution of the abundance vector estimator may be hazardous.In this paper we focus our attention on situations where the population is not too large and the sample size is small. We propose bootstrap multivariate confidence regions based on data depth. Data depth is a geometrical concept of ordering data from the center outwardly in higher dimensions. The Simplicial depth, the Tukey's depth and the Mahalanobis depth are presented. In order to build confidence regions in the presence of a skewed distribution of the abundance vector estimator, the use of Tukey's depth is suggested. The proposed method has been applied to the benthic community of Lake Lesina. A comparison with Mahalanobis depth and standard existing methods is reported.  相似文献

The spatial distribution of the collectors in dust scrubber is key in determining the effectiveness of the dust removal process. In the present study, a high-speed camera was used to capture images of the distribution of the collectors. Some of the image information was extracted by image processing, such as the gray mean (GM), the angular second moment (ASM), and the entropy (ENT) from the gray-level co-occurrence matrix of the image. Subsequently, the spatial distribution rules of the collectors were studied by analyzing the spatial proportion, dispersion area, and uniformity and intensiveness of the collectors. It is an intuitive approach and a novel analysis method for the operating state of dust scrubber. The results show that the spatial distribution of the collectors could be better reflected by image processing methods. The dispersion area of the collectors expanded with an increase in the airflow velocity. When the initial liquid level (ILL) was higher, the collectors expanded in an approximate circular shape, and when the ILL was lower the collectors expanded in an approximate sector shape. In general, the variation trend in the spatial proportion enhanced with an increase in ILL and airflow velocity, which is consistent with the uniformity of collectors. When the liquid level was 0?20 mm and the airflow velocity was greater than 6.5 m/sec, the spatial proportion and uniformity of the collectors reached the highest degree. However, the growth rate of the spatial proportion and uniformity of the collectors slowed down and even led to negative growth when the ILL was lower and the airflow velocity was higher. The intensiveness of the collectors was great when the ILL was higher, which was free from the apparent influence of the airflow velocity and the ILL. However, when the ILL was lower, the intensiveness of the collectors was poor, intensifying as the airflow velocity and ILL increased. When the liquid level was ?5?10 mm and the airflow velocity was greater than 8 m/sec, the intensiveness of the collectors reached the highest degree, indicating that a liquid level greater than 0 mm and a higher airflow velocity improved the spatial distribution of the collectors.

Implications: This paper focuses on the spatial distribution of the collectors in dust scrubber. Accidental gas explosions in industrial equipment are seldom initiated at atmospheric conditions. Furthermore, fuel–air mixtures are generally turbulent due to rotating parts or flows. Despite these considerations, few studies have been devoted to the analysis of explosion properties at conditions of temperature and pressure different from ambient and in the presence of turbulence; therefore, experiments are still needed, even at lab-scale, e.g. for the design of mitigation system as venting devices.In this work, experimental explosion tests have been performed in 5 l, cylindrical tank reactor with stoichiometric methane–air mixtures at initial pressure and temperature up to 600 kPa and 400 K, centrally ignited or top ignited, and with the effect of initial turbulence level by varying the velocity of the mechanical stirrer.  相似文献

Fuel consumption and collection costs of solid waste were evaluated by the aid of a simulation model for a given collection area of a medium-sized Italian city. Using the model it is possible to calculate time, collected waste and fuel consumption for a given waste collection route. Starting from the data for the current waste collection scenario with a Source Segregated (SS) intensity of 25%, all the main model error evaluated was ?1.2. SS intensity scenarios of 25%, 30%, 35% and 52% were simulated. Results showed an increase in the average fuel consumed by the collection vehicles that went from about 3.3 L/tonne for 25% SS intensity to about 3.8 L/tonne for a SS intensity of 52%. Direct collection costs, including crews and vehicle purchase, ranged from about 40 €/tonne to about 70 €/tonne, respectively, for 25% and 52% SS intensity. The increase in fuel consumption and collection costs depends on the density of the waste collected, on the collection vehicle compaction ratio and on the waste collection vehicle utilization factor (WCVUF). In particular a reduction of about 50% of the WCVUF can lead to an average increase of about 80% in fuel consumption and 100% in collection costs.  相似文献

The effect of size on the severity of explosions involving flocculent materials has been simulated by means of a model previously developed for spherical particles and here extended to the cylindrical geometry of flock. The model consists of the identification of the regime (internal and external heating, pyrolysis/devolatilization reaction, and volatiles combustion) controlling the explosion by the evaluation of dimensionless numbers (Bi, Da, Th and Pc) and then of the estimation of the deflagration index as a function of flocculent size. The model has been validated by means of explosion data of polyamide 6.6 (nylon) at varying diameter and length. The sorption coefficients obtained in field investigation vary greatly from laboratory sorption experiments. The possible reasons were discussed in literature. Observing the commonly reported desorption hysteresis, this study proposed that the unclear sorption history of the field study could also result in the diverse sorption coefficients. This study conducted a comparative study regarding phenanthrene sorption/desorption behavior in low-concentration multi-time sorption process and the commonly applied high-concentration one-time sorption process. The sorption coefficients determined during the desorption process were much higher than those at sorption process. Thus, the prediction of sorption coefficient should be related with sorption history. Desorption hysteresis was increased with increased equilibration time and decreased solid-phase concentration. In addition, although the apparent contact time between sorbate and sorbent was shorter for low-concentration multi-time sorption, the desorption hysteresis was much stronger, which consequently result in higher sorption coefficients in comparison to high-concentration one-time sorption. Pore swelling or diffusion-controlled sorption kinetics could not explain this phenomenon. This study calls for research attention on sorption history, especially for field investigations.  相似文献
