Knowledge of forest fuels and their potential fire behavior across a landscape is essential in fire management. Four customized fire behavior fuel models that differed significantly in fuels characteristics and environmental conditions were identified using hierarchical cluster analysis based on fuels data collected across a boreal forest landscape in northeastern China. Fuel model I represented the dense and heavily branched Pinus pumila shrubland which has significant fine live woody fuels. These forests occur mainly at higher mountain elevations. Fuel model II is applicable to forests dominated by Betula platyphylla and Populus davidiana occurring in native forests on hill slopes or at low mountain elevations. This fuel model was differentiated from other fuel models by higher herbaceous cover and lower fine live woody loading. The primary coniferous forests dominated by Larix gmelini and Pinus sylvestris L. var. mongolica were classified as fuel model III and fuel model IV. Those fuel models differed from one another in average cover and height of understory shrub and herbaceous layers as well as in aspect. The potential fire behavior for each fuel model was simulated with the BehavePlus5.0 fire behavior prediction system. The simulation results indicated that the Pinus pumila shrubland fuels had the most severe fire behavior for the 97th percentile weather condition, and had the least severe fire behavior under 90th percentile weather condition. Fuel model II presented the least severe fire potential across weather conditions. Fuel model IV resulted in greater fire severity than Fuel model III across the two weather scenarios that were examined.  相似文献

采用室内模拟研究,以P-25纳米TiO2作为光催化剂进行了苯酚水溶液的光催化降解性能探讨,初步考察了溶液的pH、P-25纳米TiO2用量对光催化降解苯酚过程的影响,以获得P-25纳米TiO2光降解含酚废水的较好反应条件.实验结果表明,当溶液pH=8时,降解水体中苯酚效果最佳,强酸和强碱条件均不利于苯酚的降解;在pH 8的反应体系中,当光催化剂用量为0.4g/L时,催化水体中苯酚降解的效果最好.  相似文献

在遥感和GIS技术支持下,采用扩展强度指数、紧凑度指数、象限分割方法研究了泰安市建成区1979—2006年的时空扩展变化特征及形态模式。结果表明,泰安市建成区自1979年以来呈现快速扩展趋势,建成区紧凑度指数呈现逐渐下降趋势。对自然和社会经济发展资料分析后认为,泰山对建成区北部的扩展形成天然屏障,而其他方位的快速扩展与泰安市固定资产投资、旅游业发展和人口增长等社会经济发展因素具有密切联系。针对紧凑度指数逐渐下降趋势,提出今后泰安市城市建设应当在城市合理布局的前提下,进一步加强土地的集约利用。  相似文献

The solubilization of phenanthrene (PHE) and pyrene (PYR) by rhamnolipid biosurfactant was systematically investigated. The solubilities of both polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were increased linearly with the biosurfactant concentration at above critical micelle concentration. A competitive effect was observed between PHE and PYR. The solubility of PHE in a mixed system was lower than that in a single PAH system, whereas the solubility of PYR in a mixed system was enhanced. This is because the hydrophobicity of PYR is higher than that of PHE, so PYR is favored in the competitive solubilization. The combined effect of biosurfactant and dissolved organic matter (DOM) on PAH solubilization was also examined. Two kinds of DOM (derived from soil and from compost) were used. There was an obvious enhancement of solubility for PHE and PYR in systems with concurrence of DOM and biosurfacrant compared with systems with only DOM or biosurfactant; however, the enhancement in the mixed system was less than their additive. This could be explained as the formation of a DOM-biosurfactant complex. In addition, the solubility enhancement of PAHs in a compost-DOM system was higher than that in a soil-DOM system. This could be explained as functional group differences of two DOM types.  相似文献

Characterized by high population density on a rugged topography, the Gedeo-Abaya landscape dominantly contains a multi-strata traditional agroforests showing the insight of Gedeo farmers on natural resource management practices. Currently, this area has been losing its resilience and is becoming unable to sustain its inhabitants. Based on both RS-derived and GIS-computed land-use/cover changes (LUCC) as well as socioeconomic validations, this article explored the LUCC and agroecological-based driver patterns in Gedeo-Abaya landscape from 1986 to 2015. A combination of geo-spatial technology and cross-sectional survey design were employed to detect the drivers behind these changes. The article discussed that LUCC and the prevalence of drivers are highly diverse and vary throughout agroecological zones. Except for the population, most downstream top drivers are perceived as insignificant in the upstream region and vice versa. In the downstream, land-use/cover (LUC) classes are more dynamic, diverse, and challenged by nearly all anticipated drivers than are upstream ones. Agroforestry LUC has been increasing (by 25% of its initial cover) and is becoming the predominant cover type, although socioeconomic analysis and related findings show its rapid LUC modification. A rapid reduction of woodland/shrubland (63%) occurred in the downstream, while wetland/marshy land increased threefold (158%), from 1986 to 2015 with annual change rates of -?3.7 and +?6%, respectively. Land degradation induced by changes in land use is a serious problem in Africa, especially in the densely populated sub-Saharan regions such as Ethiopia (FAO 2015). Throughout the landscape, LUCC is prominently affecting land-use system of the study landscape due to population pressure in the upstream region and drought/rainfall variability, agribusiness investment, and charcoaling in the downstream that necessitate urgent action.  相似文献

为了解武汉市秋季PM_(2.5)中硫酸盐、硝酸盐理化特征,2016年9—11月利用热还原法在线连续监测分析系统对此进行了采样分析,并同步收集气象因子和离子色谱方法监测结果。结果表明,硫酸盐、硝酸盐的热还原分析方法与离子色谱法的相关系数分别为0.88、0.94;PM_(2.5)中硫酸盐、硝酸盐的水溶性部分占比达92.5%,难溶性部分为7.5%;空气质量为优、良和轻度污染时,硫酸盐、硝酸盐与PM_(2.5)的占比分别为45%、42%、45%;硫酸盐、硝酸盐在降水日和非降水日平均质量浓度分别为(19.6±18.5)μg/m~3和(31.0±9.1)μg/m~3;硝酸盐与硫酸盐的质量比为1.1,高于国内其他城市,与武汉市机动车保有量大幅增加有关。  相似文献
