The bio-rack is a new approach for treating low-concentration polluted river water in wetland systems. A comparative study of the efficiency of contaminant removal between four plant species in bio-rack wetlands and between a bio-rack system and control system was conducted on a small-scale (500 mm length × 400 mm width × 400 mm height) to evaluate the decontamination effects of four different wetland plants. There was generally a significant difference in the removal of total nitrogen (TN), ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) and total phosphorus (TP), but no significant difference in the removal of permanganate index (CODMn) between the bio-rack wetland and control system. Bio-rack wetland planted with Thalia dealbata had higher nutrient removal rates than wetlands planted with other species. Plant fine-root (root diameter ≤ 3 mm) biomass rather than total plant biomass was related to nutrient removal efficiency. The study suggested that the nutrient removal rates are influenced by plant species, and high fine-root biomass is an important factor in selecting highly effective wetland plants for a bio-rack system. According to the mass balance, the TN and TP removal were in the range of 61.03--73.27 g/m2 and 4.14--5.20 g/m2 in four bio-rack wetlands during the whole operational period. The N and P removal by plant uptake constituted 34.9%--43.81% of the mass N removal and 62.05%--74.81% of the mass P removal. The study showed that the nitrification/denitrification process and plant uptake process are major removal pathways for TN, while plant uptake is an effective removal pathway for TP.  相似文献

The optimal parameters for the degradation of pure terephthalic acid (PTA) wastewater by the white rot fungus Phanerochaete chrysosporium were investigated. The relative mathematical model, objective function equation, constraint equations, constraint conditions and computer program were established in the optimal method. The results showed that the optimal value of the reactor volume needed was 9798 m3. It could save 83.82% of the reactor volume, which was needed for the native bacterium YZ1. This optimal method is simple, useful and economical for average treatment plants. Using the optimal parameters and P. chrysosporium to design and operate the treatment process of PTA wastewater would increase the treatment efficiency and decrease the cost.  相似文献

Thermal degradation of triacetone triperoxide (TATP) was studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). TATP, a potential explosive material, is powerful organic peroxide (OP) that can be synthesized by available chemicals, such as acetone and hydrogen peroxide in the laboratory or industries. The thermokinetic parameters, such as exothermic onset temperature (T0) and heat of decomposition (ΔHd), were determined by DSC tests. The gas products from thermal degradation of TATP were identified using GC/MS technique.In this study, H2O2 was mixed with propanone (acetone) and H2SO4 catalysis that produced TATP. The T0 of TATP was determined to be 40 °C and Ea was calculated to be 65 kJ/mol. A thermal decomposition peak of H2O2 was analyzed by DSC and two thermal decomposition peaks of H2O2/propanone were determined. Therefore, H2O2/propanone mixture was applied to mix acid that was discovered a thermal decomposition peak (as TATP) in this study. According to risk assessment and analysis methodologies, risk assessment of TATP for the environmental and human safety issue was evaluated as 2-level of hazard probability rating (P) and 6-level of severity of consequences ratings (S). Therefore, the result of risk assessment is 12-point and was evaluated as “Undesirable” that should be enforced the effect of control method to reduce the risk.  相似文献

尽管我国有机氯农药已禁用多年,但环境和食物中仍有有机氯农药残留.以太原市为研究区域,采集了代表性的6类24种食物,测定了林丹残留量,分析了太原人群对林丹的口摄暴露风险.研究结果表明,24种食物中林丹残留量在未检出到1.5ng·g-(1湿重)范围内.残留量较高的为鱼、水果、蔬菜和肉类.多数食物残留浓度高于2005~2007年北京和沈阳类似调查的结果.与历史数据(1992、2000年)相比,食物中林丹残留浓度大幅度下降,动物类食物下降1~2个量级,蔬菜和水果降幅较小.目前各类食物中林丹残留量均低于国家和欧盟的相应标准.平均而言,各年龄段人群日均口摄暴露量也低于美国环保局的标准,但由于食物残留浓度、个体体重及膳食结构变异较大,导致个体暴露水平差别很大,各年龄段,特别是成年人中有少数人日均口摄暴露浓度超过美国环保局制定的0.3g·kg-1·d-1的允许标准.  相似文献

以破碎至10~20目(0.84~2.00 mm)的废旧电脑主板颗粒为试验材料,分为未处理(未去除溴代阻燃剂的主板颗粒)、处理(去除30%溴代阻燃剂的主板颗粒)、加萃取物(处理主板颗粒和萃取物)、对照4组. 以CCl4作为萃取剂,采用固液萃取技术,分析了在微生物作用下不同处理组中ρ(Cu2+)、ρ(Fe3+)、Eh(氧化还原电位)和pH的变化,以考察溴代阻燃剂对氧化亚铁硫杆菌(Thiobacillus ferrooxidans)浸Cu率的影响. 结果表明:随着浸提时间的增加,氧化亚铁硫杆菌对未处理、处理和加萃取物3组的浸Cu率不同,其中处理组最好,加萃取物组最差. 浸提过程中,ρ(Fe3+)、Eh和pH与微生物活性、浸Cu率显著相关,表现为微生物活性越好,ρ(Cu2+)和pH越大,ρ(Fe3+)和Eh越小. 浸提24和168 h,处理组的浸Cu率比未处理组分别提高了14.11%和17.37%; 而加萃取物组的浸Cu率比未处理组分别降低了27.69%和21.67%. 表明废旧电脑主板中的溴代阻燃剂是影响微生物浸Cu率的重要因素之一. 为进一步提高浸Cu率,必须考虑溴代阻燃剂对微生物生长的影响.   相似文献
