● Collaborative treatment of plastics and OS was established to improve oil quality. ● PE addition successfully improved OS pyrolysis process by deploying H/Ceff ratio. ● Higher H/Ceff ratio promoted cracking to obtain more gas and light oil fractions. ● The degradation of PE and OS was promoted each other under their temperature range. Pyrolysis is an effective method to treat oily sludge (OS) due to its balance between oil recovery and nonhazardous disposal. However, tank bottom OS contains a high content of heavy fractions, which creates obstacles for pyrolysis due to the high activation energy. The incomplete cracking of macromolecules and secondary polymerization decreases the oil quality and causes coking during the operation process. This study introduced polyethylene (PE) into OS to deploy the H/Ceff ratio of feedstocks for pyrolysis. A strong interaction between OS and PE during copyrolysis could be observed from the TG/DTG curves. PE tightly participated in OS degradation, while OS also promoted PE degradation at high temperature. Apparent pits were generated in solid residues from copyrolysis, which was attributed to the uniform and violent gas release. In addition to HCN, other nitrogenous and sulphurous pollutants were inhibited. Accordingly, more gas products were attained after PE addition with more value-added compositions of alkanes and alkenes. Although the oil yield decreased after PE addition, the oil products from copyrolysis possessed higher heating values and higher contents of light fractions with short chains as well as paraffins. Consequently, copyrolysis of OS and PE significantly improved the pyrolysis process and resulted in high oil quality.  相似文献

比较了多孔聚合物载体 (HP)与颗粒活性炭载体 (GAC)厌氧流化床处理合成废水与造纸废水时的性能 .研究表明 ,HP载体反应器处理合成废水时 ,进料COD容积负荷最大 65.6kg/(m3·d)时 ,COD去除率为 84% ,沼气容积产气率为 16.5m3/(m3·d) ;GAC载体反应器最大进料COD负荷 63.26kg/(m3·d)时 ,COD去除率为74.2% ,沼气容积产气率为 14.5m3/(m3·d) .HP载体处理造纸废水 ,反应器进料COD容积负荷为 14.5~36.15kg/(m3·d)时 ,COD去除率为 64.7%~54.5% ,沼气产气率为 1.89~2.7m3/(m3·d) ;GAC载体进料COD容积负荷为 9.16~19.06kg/(m3·d)时 ,COD去除率为 61.0 %~52.1% ,沼气产气率为 0.73~2.01m3/(m3·d) .微生物固定化效果、废水处理效率及综合经济性HP载体反应器明显优于GAC载体反应器 .  相似文献

Respirogram technology has been widely applied for aerobic process, however, the response of respirogram to anoxic denitrification is still unclear. To reveal such response may help to design a new method for the evaluation of the performance of denitrification. The size distribution of flocs measured at different denitrification moments demonstrated a clear expansion of flocs triggered by denitrification, during which higher specific endogenous and quasi-endogenous respiration rates (SOURe and SOURq) were also observed. Furthermore, SOURq increases exponentially with the specific denitrification rate (SDNR), suggesting that there should be a maximum SDNR in conventional activated sludge systems. Based on these findings, an index Rq/t, defined as the ratio of quasi-endogenous (OURq) to maximum respiration rate (OURt), is proposed to estimate the denitrification capacity that higher Rq/t indicates higher denitrification potential, which can be readily obtained without complex measurement or analysis, and it offers a novel and promising respirogram-based approach for denitrification estimation and control by taking measures to extend anoxic time to maintain its value at a high level within a certain range.  相似文献

Calcium carbonate often precipitates in anaerobic reactors treating wastewater with high calcium content. The aim of this paper is to study the effect of wastewater composition on calcium carbonate precipitation in upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactors. Two laboratory-scale UASB reactors were operated with calcium-containing influents using acetate and carbohydrate as substrate, respectively. There was an obvious accumulation of inorganic precipitate observed in the biogranules. Observations via scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) showed that the acclimated biogranules in the two reactors differed in microstructure. Calcium carbonate was found to have precipitated on the surface of acetate-degrading biogranules, but precipitated at the core of the carbohydrate-degrading biogranules. The results indicated that substrates had significant influence on the location of calcium carbonate precipitation in anaerobic granular sludge, which was expected due to the different methanogens distribution and pH gradient within the granular sludge degrading various substrates. Moreover, the location of calcium carbonate precipitation substantially affected the specific methanogenic activity (SMA) of the granular sludge. The SMA of the acetate-degrading biogranules dropped from $ 1.96 gCOD_{CH_4 } \cdot gVSS^{ - 1} \cdot d^{ - 1} $ 1.96 gCOD_{CH_4 } \cdot gVSS^{ - 1} \cdot d^{ - 1} to $ 0.61 gCOD_{CH_4 } \cdot gVSS^{ - 1} \cdot d^{ - 1} $ 0.61 gCOD_{CH_4 } \cdot gVSS^{ - 1} \cdot d^{ - 1} after 180-d of operation in the reactor. However, the SMA of the carbohydrate-degrading biogranules was not adversely affected by calcium carbonate precipitation.  相似文献

尝试利用裂隙测量结果探究区域岩溶发育规律。采用统计窗口法对湖北鄂西地区雾龙洞岩溶流域的碳酸盐岩地层进行了大量的裂隙测量,分析了流域内裂隙发育的情况,研究了裂隙的几何参数——倾向、倾角、隙宽、线密度、面裂隙率等在不同层位、不同裂隙分组内的变化情况;结合构造、岩溶洼地发育方向、洞穴野外探测结果,综合分析了裂隙发育对本区岩溶发育的影响;运用渗透张量理论对岩溶流域裂隙的各向异性和非均质性进行了研究,并分析了雾龙洞岩溶流域地下水的主要渗流方向形成的原因,对查明雾龙洞岩溶流域岩溶发育规律以及地下水的运移、赋存规律具有一定的指导作用。  相似文献

Some metal etching operations emit limited flow rates of waste gases with reddish-brown NO2 fume, which may cause visual and acidic-odor complaints, as well as negative health effects. In this study, tests were performed by passing caustic-treated waste gases vented from Al-etching operations through columns packed either with virgin or regenerated granular activated carbon (GAC) to test their adsorptive conversion performance of NO2 in the gases. The gases contained 5–55 ppm NO2 and acetic and nitric acids of below 3 ppm. Exhausted carbon was regenerated by scrubbing it with caustic solution and water, and dried for further adsorption tests. Results indicate that with an (empty bed residence time (EBRT) of 0.15 sec for the gas through the GAC-packed space, around 60% of the influent NO2 of 54 ppm could be removed, and 47% of the removed NO2 was converted by and desorbed from the carbon as NO. GAC used in the present study could be regenerated at least twice to restore its capacity for NO2 adsorption. Within EBRTs of 0.076–0.18 sec, the adsorptive conversion capacity was linearly varied with EBRT. In practice, with an EBRT of 0.20 sec, a conversion capacity of 0.80 kg NO2 (kg GAC)?1 with an influent NO2 of 40 ppm can be used as a basis for system design.

Implications: Some metal etching operations emit waste gases with reddish-brown (yellow when diluted) NO2 fume which may cause visual and acidic-odor complaints, as well as negative health effects. This study provides a simple process for the adsorptive conversion of NO2 in caustic-treated waste gases vented from metal-etching operations through a GAC column. With an EBRT of 0.20 sec, a conversion capacity of 0.80 kg NO2 (kg GAC)?1 with an influent NO2 of 40 ppm can be used as a basis for system design. Saturated GAC can be regenerated at least twice by simply scrubbing it with aqueous caustic solution.  相似文献

为了促进粉煤灰和电石渣建材化高效利用和协同矿化CO2减排,研究了粉煤灰、电石渣及其配合物的碳酸化特性。实验采用pH在线测试方法分别对粉煤灰、电石渣以及两者配合物的碳酸化过程的pH进行在线测试,并对原料和产物进行XRD、TGA和SEM表征。结果表明:相同条件下,粉煤灰碳酸化浆液pH降到7.0的平均速度约为电石渣的51倍;与等量电石渣单独碳酸化相比,粉煤灰与电石渣按照4:1(质量比)复配碳酸化pH降低到7.0的速度较纯电石渣提高了近5.6倍,且在相同电石渣配量的条件下,粉煤灰-电石渣复配料比碳酸钙-电石渣复配料的碳酸化反应完成时间缩短了31.6%,说明电石渣与粉煤灰复配后进行碳酸化反应具有明显协同促进作用。TGA分析表明,纯粉煤灰和纯电石渣的固碳率分别约为2%和61.3%,粉煤灰与电石渣复配料的固碳率较等量单一电石渣和粉煤灰的固碳率之和的计算值提高了19.6%。SEM分析表明,粉煤灰与电石渣复配料碳酸化产物碳酸钙颗粒在粉煤灰表面呈现异位分散附着形态,而单一电石渣碳酸化产物碳酸钙则在电石渣颗粒表面呈现原位聚集附着形态。这可能是复配料固碳率提高的主要原因。  相似文献

氯过氧化物酶是一种底物广泛的手性催化剂,可以催化卤素离子、芳香族化合物和醇类化合物等进行过氧化反应.利用氯过氧化物酶催化氧化苯酚,考察其对苯酚生物降解的促进作用.结果表明,500、1 000 mg/L苯酚在氯过氧化物酶为10 U/mL、pH为6.5、H2 O2投加量为10 mg/L时8h苯酚降解率分别达到86.6%和83.8%,比单纯菌株降解显著提高.说明氯过氧化物酶能快速清除苯酚污染的危害,提高苯酚的生物降解速率.  相似文献

Abstract

A pilot-scale plug-flow reactor was built to investigate its performance in treating airborne 1,3-butadiene (BD) via ozonation (O3) and ultraviolet (UV)/O3 technologies. Governing factors, such as the initial molar ratio of ozone to BD, UV volumetric electric input power, and moisture content in the influent airstream, were investigated. Experiments were conducted at an influent BD concentration of ~50 ppm, an ambient temperature of 26 °C, and a gas retention time of 85 sec. Results show that an initial molar ratio of ozone to BD of 3.5 and 2 sufficed to obtain BD decompositions of >90% for ozonation and UV/O3, respectively. The UV irradiance did not directly promote the decomposition of BD, rather, it played a role in promoting the production of secondary oxidants, such as hydroxyl radicals. Kinetic analyses indicate that both types of BD decomposition are peudo–first-order with respect to BD concentrations. Moisture content (relative humidity = 40–99%) and UV volumetric electric input power (0.147 and 0.294 W/L) are both factors that weakly affect the rate of BD decomposition. Economic evaluation factors, including both energy of ozone production and UV electric input power, were also estimated.  相似文献
