This paper reports pioneering work in identifying an alternative coagulation agent of wastewater treatment, given the availability of commonly used agents are of a higher cost relative to more natural sources, such as soil. The alternative proposed is laterite soil from northern Malaysia because it contains high amounts of Al and Fe, which are well-known coagulants. The soil was grinded and sieved to obtain uniform particle sizes of <250???m. Al and Fe were extracted from the soil. Extraction agents: (1) HCl, (2) NaOH, and (3) HCl?+?NaCl were chosen. It was found that the most effective agent to extract Fe was 5?N HCl while to extract Al was HCl?+?NaCl, 2 and 4?N, respectively. D-optimal design observed that extraction time t, temperature T, and ratio of amount of laterite soil to amount of extractants r, showed a significant effect on Al extraction. In contrast, the combination of factors t and r exhibited insignificant effect on Fe extraction while other factors were significant. The optimum conditions for extraction of both Al and Fe were 90?°C, 40?min, for r?=?1:15, which gave [Fe]?=?1,870?mg/l and [Al]?=?0.17?mg/l and 90?°C, 90?min, for r?=?1:10, which gave [Fe]?=?2,900?mg/l and [Al]?=?0.130?mg/l. Since concentration of Fe extracted from laterite soil was high, it was concluded that laterite soil can be considered as an alternative and novel source of coagulant applicable in a wastewater treatment coagulation process.  相似文献

In situ bioremediation of oily sludge-contaminated soil by biostimulation of indigenous microbes through adding manure was conducted at the Shengli oilfield in northern China. After bioremediation for 360 days, total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) content was reduced by 58.2% in the treated plots compared with only 15.6% in the control plot. Moreover, bioremediation significantly improved the physicochemical properties of the soil in the treated plot. Soil microbial counts and community-level physiological profiling were also examined. Manure addition increased TPH degraders and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) degraders in the contaminated soil by one to two orders of magnitude. The activity and biodiversity of soil microbial communities also increased markedly in the treated plot compared with that of the control. Finally, biotoxicity was used to evaluate the soils and a sharp increase in the EC50 of the soil after bioremediation was observed, indicating that bioremediation had reduced the toxicity of the soil.  相似文献

通过大田实验,研究了不同脱硫渣废弃物对油葵(Helianthus annuus)根际微生物数量和酶活性的影响。结果表明:随着生育期的进行,微生物总量在苗期和花期数量较少,成熟期是数量较多。脱硫渣施用量对油葵根际微生物数量及酶活性均产生影响,微生物总量和油葵根际土壤酶活性均随着脱硫渣施用量的增加呈现出先升高后下降的趋势,同一生育期内,微生物总量以C(1.5 t/hm2)或D(2.25 t.hm-2)处理的微生物数量较高,B(0.75 t.hm-2)处理时的微生物数量较少;表明施用适量的脱硫渣有益于油葵根际微生物数量和酶活性的提高,过高则导致微生物数量和酶活性下降。  相似文献

多溴联苯醚(polybrominated diphenyl ethers,PBDEs)是土壤-地下水系统中广泛存在的有机污染物,研究土壤组分对其迁移行为的影响是解决土壤-地下水系统中多溴联苯醚归趋问题的关键。以典型多溴联苯醚同系物2,2',4,4'-四溴联苯醚(2,2',4,4'-tetrabromodiphenyl ether,BDE-47)为研究对象,选取胡敏酸(humic acid,HA)、富里酸(fulvic acid,FA)2种代表性土壤有机组分,配制不同浓度的FA、HA溶液(150 mg·L~(-1)、50 mg·L~(-1)),分别对不同浓度的BDE-47(100μg·g~(-1)、10μg·g~(-1))污染土壤进行土柱淋滤实验,探讨FA、HA对土壤-地下水系统中BDE-47迁移的影响。结果表明,HA作用下,实验组下层土壤中BDE-47的残留比例分别为0.62%和0.40%,分别低于对照组的0.72%和3.36%;FA作用下,实验组下层土壤中BDE-47的残留比例分别为6.40%和6.71%,分别高于对照组的0.72%和3.36%。结合HA和FA的元素组成和结构特征分析可知,疏水性强的HA能够促进BDE-47随水流迁移进入地下水系统;亲水性强的FA促进BDE-47在土壤系统中的分布,阻滞了土壤系统中BDE-47进入地下水系统。本文为评估HA、FA对土壤-地下水系统中BDE-47迁移的影响提供依据。  相似文献

为揭示河北省唐山市大气环境治理的措施效果,分析了“十一五”期间唐山市的减排措施、污染物排放量和空气污染物浓度的变化. 结果表明:“十一五”期间(2005—2010年),烟尘、工业粉尘、SO2排放量分别减少35%、57%、20%,ρ(PM10)、ρ(SO2)、ρ(NO2)年均值分别下降12%、33%、33%. 与GB 3095—2012《环境空气质量标准》相比,2005年ρ(PM10)、ρ(SO2)、ρ(NO2)分别超标36%、42%、7%,而到2010年ρ(SO2)、ρ(NO2)已达标,但ρ(PM10)仍然超标20%. 2008年北京奥运会期间的减排措施使得唐山市ρ(PM10)、ρ(SO2)、ρ(NO2)年均值均显著下降,分别比2007年下降13%、20%、28%. 2008—2009年的全球经济危机使得2009年地方生产总值增速较其他年均值降低13%,2009年烟尘和SO2排放量也呈显著下降趋势,二者比2008年分别下降14%和10%,但工业粉尘排放量反而增加8%. 经济危机使ρ(PM10)、ρ(SO2)、ρ(NO2)下降速率分别提升了20%、2%、2%. 研究结果表明,“十一五”总量减排、2008年北京奥运会期间的治理措施和全球经济危机对唐山市的空气质量产生了明显的影响.   相似文献

An optimized procedure based on gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) combined with accelerated solvent extraction (ASE) is developed for the analysis of six phthalic acid esters (PAEs), which are priority soil pollutants nominated by United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). Quantification of PAEs in soil employs ultrasonic extraction (UE) (USEPA 3550) and ASE (USEPA 3545), followed by clean up procedures involving three different chromatography columns and two combined elution methods. GC-MS conditions under selected ion monitoring (SIM) mode are described and quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) criteria with high accuracy and sensitivity for target analytes were achieved. Method reliability is assured with the use of an isotopically labeled PAE, di-n-butyl phthalate-d4 (DnBP-D4), as a surrogate, and benzyl benzoate (BB) as an internal standard, and with the analysis of certified reference materials (CRM). QA/QC for the developed procedure was tested in four PAE-spiked soils and one PAE-contaminated soil. The four spiked soils were originated from typical Chinese agricultural fields and the contaminated soil was obtained from an electronic waste dismantling area. Instrument detection limits (IDLs) for the six PAEs ranged 0.10–0.31 μg·L-1 and method detection limits (MDLs) of the four spiked soils varied from a range of 20–70 μg·kg-1 to a range of 90– 290 μg·kg-1. Linearity of response between 20 μg·L-1 and 2 mg·L-1 was also established and the correlation coefficients (R) were all>0.998. Spiked soil matrix showed relative recovery rates between 75 and 120% for the six target compounds and about 93% for the surrogate substance. The developed procedure is anticipated to be highly applicable for field surveys of soil PAE pollution in China.  相似文献

This paper considers pollution density as a function of environmental investment. The higher environmental investment, the lower pollution density. The lower the pollution density is the higher production technology becomes. This is called the spillover effect. We collected China's panel data at the provincial level from 2005 to 2009, and tested the spillover effect of environmental investment. This paper finds that the environmental investment influenced production technology positively. There is a significant positive relation between government expenditure and spillover effect.  相似文献

煤矿井底发生煤尘瓦斯爆炸事故时产生的冲击波会冲开风井防爆门、盖,引起主风机风流短路,井底风流紊乱、通风系统瘫痪,导致毒害气体扩散、瓦斯积聚,引发二次爆炸。为了减少因此造成的损失,研发了一种在防爆门、盖被摧毁后能自动封堵的装置,通过感应防爆门盖的损毁信号控制充气动力设备对气囊折叠体进行充气,折叠体被充气弹出储藏硐室,沿支撑架构延展、膨胀并充满井筒横截面,实施对风井的密封,以维持灾后井底持续通风,降低灾害后果,为井底幸存人员的生存与自救提供有利条件。  相似文献
