Genotypic variation in element concentrations in brown rice from Yunnan landraces in China 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3

The mineral elements present in brown rice play an important physiological role in global human health. We investigated genotypic
variation of eight of these elements (P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, and Mn) in 11 different grades of brown rice on the basis
of the number and distance coefficients of 282 alleles for 20 simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers. Six-hundred and twenty-eight
landraces from the same field in Yunnan Province, one of the largest centers of genetic diversity of rice (Oryza sativa L.) in the world, formed our core collection. The mean concentrations (mg kg−1) of the eight elements in brown rice for these landraces were P (3,480) > K (2,540) > Mg (1,480) > Ca (157) > Zn (32.8) > Fe
(32.0) > Cu (13.6) > Mn (13.2). Mean P concentrations in brown rice were 6.56 times total soil P, so the grains are important
in tissue storage of P, but total soil K is 7.82 times mean K concentrations in brown rice. The concentrations of the eight
elements in some grades of brown rice, on the basis of the number and distance coefficients of alleles for 20 SSR markers
for the landraces, were significantly different (P < 0.05), and further understanding of the relationship between mineral elements and gene diversity is needed. There was large
variation in element concentrations in brown rice, ranging from 2,160 to 5,500 mg P kg−1, from 1,130 to 3,830 mg K kg−1, from 61.8 to 488 mg Ca kg−1, from 864 to 2,020 mg Mg kg−1, from 0.40 to 147 mg Fe kg−1, from 15.1 to 124 mg Zn kg−1, from 0.10 to 59.1 mg Cu kg−1, and from 6.7 to 26.6 mg Mn kg−1. Therefore, germplasm evaluations for Ca, Fe, and Zn concentrations in rice grains have detected up to sevenfold genotypic
differences, suggesting that selection for high levels of Ca, Fe, and Zn in breeding for mass production is a feasible approach.
Increasing the concentrations of Ca, Fe, and Zn in rice grains will help alleviate chronic Ca, Zn, and Fe deficiencies in

Sex allocation theory predicts that female birds with high-quality mates will benefit from producing more sons, since sons
will inherit their father’s superior traits and enjoy a great reproductive success, whereas females with low-quality mates
will benefit from producing more daughters, since the variance in reproductive success among daughters is typically lower.
The male attractiveness hypothesis may apply to extra-pair paternity (EPP) because socially monogamous females routinely mate
with higher quality males outside the pair bond. We test these predictions using the Tibetan ground tit (Pseudopodoces humilis), a sexually monomorphic, socially monogamous, facultatively cooperative breeder. There was greater variation in actual reproductive
success among males than females due to EPP. An excess of sons was detected for bi-parental (i.e., non-cooperative) broods
wherein EPP was mainly sired by bi-parental males. The pattern was attributed to male-biased sex ratios produced for both
EPP and within-pair offspring within the same broods. The reason for the latter case might be a random allocation of more
offspring to sons by the potentially EPP-exposed females that have an inability to control fertilization by specific males.
In cooperative broods where EPP mostly resulted from within-group helpers of presumed low-quality, as indicated by their failure
in acquiring a social mate, there was a non-significant tendency for EPP offspring to be daughters and for within-pair offspring
in the same broods to be unbiased. These results support the EPP-related male attractiveness hypothesis especially in terms
of the overproduction of sons. Offspring produced through quasi-parasitism was unbiased towards either sex, suggesting a weak

为研究纳米氧化锌(ZnO NP)的毒性效应及其在细胞内外分布,以羊角月牙藻(Selenastrum capricornutum)为模型藻类,研究了不同浓度ZnO NP对羊角月牙藻生长、叶绿素含量、可溶性蛋白含量、超氧化物岐化酶(SOD)及过氧化物酶(POD)活性、丙二醛(MDA)含量及细胞内外ZnO NP含量变化。结果表明,ZnO NP对羊角月牙藻的生长抑制与处理浓度呈现正相关。在45 mg·L~(-1)ZnO NP暴露24 h后,其生长抑制率已达到95%。当ZnO NP处理藻细胞72 h后,羊角月牙藻细胞的叶绿素含量与处理浓度之间存在剂量-效应关系。低浓度(0.5 mg·L~(-1))ZnO NP处理后藻细胞可溶性蛋白质含量、SOD和POD活性明显下降,MDA含量升高,其产生的毒性效应高于高浓度组(5 mg·L~(-1)、45 mg·L~(-1))。细胞培养液溶出Zn2+量及藻细胞外吸附的ZnO NP量与ZnO NP处理浓度成正比,但是藻细胞内ZnO NP量与ZnO NP浓度没有相关性,胞内积累量基本维持不变。研究表明,各浓度组对藻细胞毒性的差异,不仅与细胞内Zn2+量有关,还与细胞外粘附的ZnO NP有关。 相似文献

青海弧菌对有毒酚类化合物具有强烈的敏感性,为建立酚类衍生物对青海弧菌毒性的定量结构-活性相关性(QSAR)模型,分析了16种酚类衍生物的分子结构与对青海弧菌毒性之间的相关关系,计算了酚类衍生物的分子连接性指数和分子形状指数,并优化筛选了分子连接性指数的1阶路径指数(~1χ)和分子形状指数的2阶特征指数(K_2)及1阶和2阶指数乘积值(K_4),用这3种指数与对青海弧菌的毒性进行多元回归分析,多元回归方程的决定系数R~2=0.971。为进一步提高预测精度,将这3种分子结构参数作为神经网络的输入变量,毒性值作为输出变量,采用3:2:1的网络结构,通过反向传播(BP)神经网络法获得满意的QSAR预测模型,总的相关系数r为0.996,计算得到的毒性预测值与实验值较为吻合,平均相对误差仅为1.98%,结果表明该模型具有良好的预测酚类衍生物毒性的能力,可以看出神经网络方法对酚类化合物发光菌毒性预测比多元线性回归方法的统计学意义更加明显。 相似文献

采用组织病理切片法、微核及彗星试验研究nano-TiO_2和1,2,4-TCB联合染毒对斑马鱼鳃组织结构、细胞微核率及DNA损伤的毒性效应。结果表明,单独nano-TiO_2暴露不会导致斑马鱼鳃组织结构损伤,也不会引起明显的微核及染色体损伤。1,2,4-TCB(≥10 mg·L~(-1))会引起鳃组织和细胞染色体的损伤。nano-TiO_2与1,2,4-TCB联合作用会加重斑马鱼的鳃组织结构损伤,出现鳃小片排列严重紊乱,表皮细胞断失严重,鳃小片上皮细胞坏死脱落,鳃丝结构模糊等症状。两者联合作用会引起鳃细胞微核率增加和彗星细胞率的增加,呈现一定的剂量-效应关系,且两者间的联合作用具有协同作用。对彗星试验的尾部DNA百分比、尾长及尾距的分析发现,与对照组和单独作用相比,两者联合作用对彗星指标均有显著增强作用,这表明两者联合作用对染色体的损伤属于非特定片段损伤。 相似文献

采用微乳法制备了镍、铋复合氧化物纳米粒子,以XRD、TG-DTA、XPS及紫外-可见光谱仪对合成材料进行了表征,并以甲苯为目标污染物对其气-固复相光催化性能进行了研究。结果表明:Ni和Bi都显+3价,XRD曲线上分别出现Ni2O3和Bi2O3的特征衍射峰,制备样品是Ni2O3与Bi2O3复合氧化物,对于单一Bi2O3,制备的复合氧化物由于Ni2O3具有较强的电子富集能力,能够快速地传递光照射产生的电子,导致光生电子与空穴分离效率大大提高,促进了氧化反应,显示出了较好的光催化活性。 相似文献

在水资源日益紧张、含盐废水排放量日益增多的大趋势下,寻求经济有效的含盐废水处理技术已成为重要的研究课题。以厦门某食品企业水产品加工腌泡环节含盐废水为研究对象。含盐废水经氨水沉淀、离子交换树脂软化处理,废水中钙镁离子被有效脱除,出水钙镁质量浓度已经降为10.4mg·L-1,达到软水水质标准。软化后的废水经4‰聚丙烯酰胺(PAM)絮凝并通过活性炭吸附,污染密度指数值(SDI)降低至0.41,完全达到膜分离装置进水水质的要求。预处理液再经电渗析膜进一步浓缩分离后,氯化钠质量浓度可由7351mg·L-1提升到78156mg·L-1,对盐分浓缩了10倍以上,达到废水和盐分的处理回收利用。本处理工艺流程简洁,药耗少、能耗低,比较适合小规模含盐废水的综合处理。 相似文献

This paper considers pollution density as a function of environmental investment. The higher environmental investment, the lower pollution density. The lower the pollution density is the higher production technology becomes. This is called the spillover effect. We collected China's panel data at the provincial level from 2005 to 2009, and tested the spillover effect of environmental investment. This paper finds that the environmental investment influenced production technology positively. There is a significant positive relation between government expenditure and spillover effect. 相似文献

Characteristics of rainfall runoff from a 3.26 hm2 urban catchment with predominant land-use as lawn in Xiamen City, South-east China were investigated and analyzed. Water quality and quantity measurements of rainfall runoff were conducted for ten rainfall events over the period March, 2008 to April, 2009. The results indicated that chemical oxygen demand (COD) and total phosphorus (TP) were the major pollutants with event mean concentrations of 56.09 and 0.44 mg·L?1. From hydrograph and pollutograph analysis of two typical rainfall events, it was clear that the peak rainfall preceded the peak flowrate by about 15?C20 min. Meanwhile, concentrations of major pollutants showed multiple peaks and these peaks usually preceded peak flowrate. There were no distinctive first-flush effects except for the rainfall events with the longest rainfall duration and largest runoff volume, which was verified by the fact that the first 30% runoff volume (FF30) carried 39.36% of the total suspended solids (TSS) load, 35.17% of the COD load, 28.13% of the TP load and 39.03% of the nitrate nitrogen load. Multivariate regression analysis further demonstrated that the total runoff volume had a positive correlation with the FF30 of TSS and COD. 相似文献
