Nitrogen removal from recycled landfill leachate by ex situ nitrification and in situ denitrification 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A three-compartment system, comprising a landfill column with fresh municipal solid waste, a column with a well-decomposed refuse layer as methane producer, and a sequential batch reactor as ex situ nitrifying reactor, was employed to remove nitrogen from municipal solid waste leachate. Since food waste comprised a major portion of refuse collected in Shanghai, an intense hydrolysis reaction occurred and caused the rapid accumulation of ammonia nitrogen (NH(3)-N) and total organic carbon in the leachate. This paper discusses the role of the three mentioned units and the design and operation of the proposed system. With most NH(3)-N being converted to nitrite nitrogen (NO(2)(-)-N) or nitrate nitrogen (NO(3)(-)-N) by the nitrifying reactor, and with the well-decomposed refuse layer transforming most dissolved organic compounds to CO(2), carbonates and methane, it was found that the fresh refuse column could efficiently denitrify the hydrolyzed nitrogen to N(2) gas. 采用Plackett-Burma(P-B)和Box-Behnken(B-B)设计相结合的方法筛选和优化嗜酸氧化亚铁硫杆菌(A.ferrooxidans)脱除煤矸石中硫的主要影响因素和实验条件。首先,通过P-B设计从pH、煤矸石粒度、煤矸石添加量、Ag+浓度和煤矸石类型等因素中筛选影响脱硫率的主要因素。然后,在确定使用新鲜矸石条件下,对另外4个主要因素采用B-B设计和响应面分析进行脱硫条件优化。研究结果表明,pH、煤矸石粒度和Ag+浓度对脱硫率具有显著影响,其影响程度为煤矸石粒度 >pH >Ag+浓度。利用Design Expert软件建立起脱硫率与影响因素之间的二次回归方程模型,通过求解方程得到最优脱硫条件为pH(3.0)、煤矸石粒度(124 μm)、煤矸石添加量(56 g/L)、Ag+浓度(100 mg/L),在该条件下实际脱硫率达88.62%,与模型预测值接近,说明可以利用该模型来分析和预测矸石的脱硫效果。 相似文献

Foshan is the most air-polluted city in Pearl River Delta. Non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHCs) were investigated for the first time in Foshan in winter 2008. Ethene, ethane, ethyne, propane, i-pentane, and toluene were the most abundant hydrocarbons and observed to be higher in Foshan than those in many other cities in China. Different from other cities, ethene and ethane were observed to be the two highest compounds in Foshan. Generally, the most abundant hydrocarbons showed high mixing ratios in the morning (0930-1030 hours), decreased to the lowest level in the afternoon (1430-1530 hours), and increased to higher value in the evening (1930-2030 hours). But i-pentane exhibited a different diurnal pattern with the highest level (13.4 ± 5.8 ppbv) in the afternoon, implying the acceleration of solvent evaporation resulting from higher temperature. Correlation coefficients (R(2)?= 66% for n = 6 at 95% confidence level) of the individual hydrocarbons with ethyne and i-pentane indicated vehicular emissions were the main sources of ethene, propene, i-butene, isoprene, benzene and toluene, while gasoline evaporation was responsible for n-pentane, n-hexane, and n-heptane. The good correlation of most of the hydrocarbons with ethyne, indicating vehicular emissions, were the main sources of NMHCs. B/T ratio was 0.36 ± 0.06, implying vehicular emissions acted as the major contributors as well as additional emissions of toluene emitted from solvent usage. According to investigation, it also suggested that LPG leakage was the main source of propane, while NG leakage was responsible for ethane in Foshan City. 相似文献

Accumulation of copper in brown rice and effect of copper on rice growth and grain yield in different rice cultivars 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
A pot experiment with 38 commonly cultured rice cultivars showed that the effect of Cu (100 mg kg(-1)) on rice growth, grain yield and accumulation of Cu in brown rice varied greatly with different cultivars. Although the average Cu concentration in brown rice of the 38 cultivars was significantly increased (P<0.01) compared with the control, in none of the cultivars did Cu concentration in brown rice exceed the maximum permissible limit of 10 mg Cu kg(-1). This suggests that rice grown in Cu-contaminated paddy soil (100 mg Cu kg(-1)) will not adversely affect human health through the food chain. Because of the significant negative correlation between grain weight and Cu concentration in brown rice with the soil Cu treatment, screening for cultivars with low Cu accumulation in brown rice and high grain yield for Cu-contaminated areas is feasible. The present research led to the recommendation of three such cultivars: Jiahua, Zhenxian 866, Zhe 733. The average grain yield under Cu treatment (100 mg Cu kg(-1) soil) was significantly (P<0.01) reduced compared with the control. The decreases or increases of grain yields mainly resulted from the combined effects of the panicles per pot, spikelets per panicle and filled spikelets per panicle under the soil Cu treatment. Furthermore, there were significant (r=0.869, P<0.01) positive correlations between the RC (relative changes) of spikelets per panicle and filled spikelets per panicle under the soil Cu treatment. 相似文献
