Genotoxicity study of phenol and o-cresol using the micronucleus test and the comet assay

Phenol and cresols are common toxic environmental pollutants. In this study, the micronucleus assay and the alkaline single cell gel electrophoresis (SCGE) technique have been used to investigate the genotoxic activity of phenol and o-cresol. The result of experiments revealed that phenol and o-cresol were both evident genotoxins, and the genotoxic activity of o-cresol was stronger. Removal of elemental mercury with Mn/Mo/Ru/Al2O3 membrane catalytic system

In this work, a catalytic membrane using Mn/Mo/Ru/Al₂O₃ as the catalyst was employed to remove elemental mercury (Hg⁰) from flue gas at low temperature. Compared with traditional catalytic oxidation (TCO) mode, Mn/Al₂O₃ membrane catalytic system had much higher removal efficiency of Hg⁰. After the incorporation of Mo and Ru, the production of Cl₂ from the Deacon reaction and the retainability for oxidants over Mn/Al₂O₃ membrane were greatly enhanced. As a result, the oxidization of Hg⁰ over Mn/Al₂O₃ membrane was obviously promoted due to incorporation of Mo and Ru. In the presence of 8 ppmv HCl, the removal efficiency of Hg⁰ by Mn/Mo/Ru/Al₂O₃ membrane reached 95% at 423 K. The influence of NO and SO₂ on Hg⁰ removal were insignificant even if 200 ppmv NO and 1000 ppmv SO₂ were used. Moreover, compared with the TCO mode, the Mn/Mo/Ru/Al₂O₃ membrane catalytic system could remarkably reduce the demanded amount of oxidants for Hg⁰ removal. Therefore, the Mn/Mo/Ru/Al₂O₃ membrane catalytic system may be a promising technology for the control of Hg⁰ emission.     

Data assimilation for short range atmospheric dispersion of radionuclides: a case study of second-order sensitivity

This article presents the application of variational data assimilation to a simple Gaussian plume model for radionuclides. Adjoint modeling is applied to the model in order to minimize discrepancies between contamination observations and model outputs. The interest of such an approach is to get a better estimation of some parameters such as emissions or dispersion parameters. A second-order analysis is also performed to assess the sensitivity of the optimized parameters to some poorly known parameters. Sensitivity with respect to network design is also done.     

煤矿安全评价智能决策支持系统(MSAIDSS)的研究

随着安全科学及计算机技术的发展，基于计算机技术的智能决策支持系统（ＩＤＳＳ）就能应用到安全科学的研究之中。本文针对煤矿安全的特点，探讨了煤矿安全评价智能决策支持系统（ＭＳＡＩＤＳＳ）的构成及其运行图，将为实现煤矿安全管理现代化和决策科学化打下基础。     

地面沉降成灾临界水位的识别及意义

在分析以往研究不足的基础上,首次提出了地面沉降成灾临界水位的概念及一般确定方法。以长江三角洲地面沉降区代表城市为例,给出了根据已发生地面沉降灾害城市的地面沉降监测数据确定地面沉降成灾临界水位的具体方法,并确定了该地区地面沉降成灾临界水位。分析了地面沉降成灾临界水位对预防地面沉降灾害发生及合理开采地下水资源的重要意义。

通过对乐清湾台风风暴潮的调查研究, 阐述了台风风暴潮对人类的危害, 科学分析风暴潮的成因, 在此基础上, 提出对乐清湾台风风暴潮灾害的防御对策     

Biosynthesis of gold nanoparticles by Trichoderma sp. WL-Go for azo dyes decolorization

Developing an eco-friendly approach for metallic nanoparticles synthesis is important in current nanotechnology research. In this study, green synthesis of gold nanoparticles(AuNPs) was carried out by a newly isolated strain Trichoderma sp. WL-Go. UV–vis spectra of Au NPs showed a surface plasmon resonance peak at 550 nm, and transmission electron microscopy images revealed that the Au NPs were of varied shape with well dispersibility.The optimal conditions for Au NPs synthesis were HAuCl_4 1.0 mmol/L, biomass 0.5 g and pH 7–11. Moreover, the bio-Au NPs could efficiently catalyze the decolorization of various azo dyes. This research provided a new microbial resource candidate for green synthesis of Au NPs and demonstrated the potential application of bio-Au NPs for azo dye decolorization.     

炼油企业设备完整性管理初始状态评价探索与实践

针对某炼厂试点装置的设备完整性管理体系执行状况开展了初始状态评价。本次评价以美国职业安全与卫生署《化学品过程安全管理》设备完整性要素为基础,结合过程安全管理符合性导则与建议、机械完整性实施指南等业界最佳实践,编制评价问项,组建包含管理、工艺、设备人员和承包商在内的评价工作组,采取查阅档案、信息化平台纪录,面对面访谈,作业现场考察与验证,评价工作会等方式,以半定量的方式找出了设备完整性管理体系较高的残余风险,对设备完整性管理体系框架结构和管理文件体系以及绩效指标体系提出了针对性改进建议。
