As nutrients and organic matters are transported preferentially in an adsorbed state and tend to bind to the sediments, sediment transport plays an important role on eutrophication processes in the estuaries. The timescale of sediment transport is of significance for studying the retention of pollutants and eutrophication processes in the estuaries. Unlike transport of dissolved substances that is mainly controlled by advection and diffusion processes, the sediment transport is significantly affected by the intermittent settling and resuspension processes. A three-dimensional model with suspended sediment transport was utilized to investigate the transport timescale of river-borne sediment in the tidal York River Estuary. The results indicate that river discharge dominantly determines the age of river-borne sediment in the estuary. High river discharge results in a low sediment age compared to that under mean flow. The intermittent effects of settling and resuspension events greatly affect the river-borne sediment age. Both settling velocity and critical shear stress are shown to be key parameters in determining the sediment transport timescale. The sediment age decreases as settling velocity and/or critical shear stress decrease, while it increases with the increase of settling velocity that prevents the sediment to be transported out of the estuary. 相似文献

本文模拟研究了地表水及土壤水介质中Cr(Ⅵ)在硫系统作用下的氧化还原反应动力学.在通常的pH及夏、秋温度和厌氧还原条件下进行动力学实验,采用了流动注射技术分析测定.初步确定了在一定的温度及pH条件下,当Cr(Ⅵ)与硫化物浓度相近时,二者之间的氧化还原反应为二级反应,其反应速率与Cr(Ⅵ)及总硫化物浓度的一次方乘积成正比.其速率常数随温度升高而增大,随pH升高却产生较为复杂的变化,总的说来,在pH5.5—7.0范围内速率常数较大.而在pH>7时反应很慢,近于停止了.当硫化物浓度远大于Cr(Ⅵ)时,二者之间的反应为准一级反应,Cr(Ⅵ)的还原速率与Cr(Ⅵ)浓度的一次方成正比,其反应速率常数随温度升高而增大,在pH5.0—7.8范围内速率常数随pH升高而逐渐减小. 相似文献

Field experiments were done in two sites, Yixing and Changshu, Jiangsu province, China, to study P movement and leaching in flooded paddy soils. P movement in soil was investigated by using the KH2 32PO4 tracker method, and the amount of P leached from the soil layer in different depths was estimated by measuring P concentrations in the soil solution and saturated hydraulic conductivities in field. Determination was done about one month after P application. There was 46% and 42% of total 32P retained in the 0-5cm layer of soil in the Yixing site and in the Changshu site respectively. The 32P retained in the 25-30 cm layer was only about 1-2% of the total 32P added. Furthermore, 8.01% of 32P in the soil of Yixing site and 16.8% of 32P in the soil of Changshu site was lost from the layer 0-30 cm soil. The seasonal amounts of P leached from the top soil layer and from bottom layer are about 4.5-5.8% and 1.6-2.1% of the total P application, respectively. Changes of total P concentrations in soil solutions during rice growth showed that the fertilizer P applied before flooding of the paddy fields suffered a flash leaching loss and a slow leaching loss. We concluded that the fertilizer P could quickly move in the flooded paddy rice field and parts of it can enter into surface water and ground water. 在盆栽条件下,利用根际接种丛枝菌根真菌(地表球囊霉Glomus versiforme和摩西球囊霉Glomus mosseae)的方法对兔眼蓝莓(Vaccinium ashei)在华南地区生长的影响进行了研究。结果表明:与未接种对照相比,接种的2个真菌均可不同程度地侵染兔眼蓝莓根系,增加根系总长、根表面积、植株地上部分鲜质量、新枝长度、主枝数和主枝长度等,促进兔眼蓝莓生长。地表球囊霉接种侵染率高,对兔眼蓝莓生长促进效果更好。接种AMF还能提高根际土壤w(P2O5)。接种丛枝菌根真菌有利于在华南地区引种栽培兔眼蓝莓。 相似文献

为了探讨密云水库上游流域可能给水库带来的非点源污染,本研究测定了入库河流潮河下游周边土壤中12种类二恶英多氯联苯(DL-PCBs)的含量水平。结果表明,ΣDL-PCBs的总含量水平为0.0039~0.0365 ng·g-1,其中PCB-118,115,77为12种DL-PCBs的主要成分,PCB-81,114,157均低于检出限。草地、林地和果园中ΣDL-PCBs的含量高于玉米地,表明研究区的DL-PCBs主要受大气沉降和河流沉积物的影响,受当地人类活动影响不大。与其他研究相比,采样区域的PCBs含量总体处于偏低水平,毒性当量处于中等水平。而毒性当量因子(TEF)较高的PCB-126与PCB-169,可能会对人类和生物产生危害,应给予足够的重视。 相似文献
