以蜂窝陶瓷为载体进行生物挂膜,处理经化学预处理后的某农药厂有机磷和除虫菊酯类混合废水。对处理结果、蜂窝陶瓷载体及其生物挂膜法的特点进行了深入讨论。当废水的COD为1 600~1 700 mg/L,TP(总磷)为70~80mg/L,DMAC(二甲基乙酰胺)为0.8~1.2 mg/L,甲醇为8~12 mg/L,pH为6.8~7.2,水温为27~30℃,流量为0.1 m3/h,水力停留时间为15 h,进水容积负荷约为2.5 kg COD/(m3.d)时,发现15 d就完成生物挂膜,连续运行20 d COD去除率为73%~75%,TP去除率为53%~55%,DMAC去除率为54%~57%,甲醇去除率为91%~93%。与同样条件下的普通活性污泥处理相比,COD去除率提高85%,TP去除率提高83%,DMAC去除率提高119%,甲醇去除率提高27%,排出的剩余活性污泥量减少89%。测得的活性生物膜量为1.8 kg/m2,生物膜的厚度为1.5~2 mm,用偏光显微镜摄取了载体表面生物膜的图像。 相似文献

The northern reef of Yongxing Island, the largest reef island of the Xisha Islands in the South China Sea, was in good condition with significant cover of scleractinian corals until 2002. Surveys in 2008 and 2010, however, found that coral coverage had declined rapidly and severely, implying that catastrophic coral mortality occurred during the past 8 years. A blackish mat was observed covering live and dead corals in both 2008 and 2010 that was identified as an encrusting sponge, Terpios hoshinota, by special surface morphology and spicule structure. In addition, spicule residues were found on the surface of long-dead corals, indicating a previous invasion of T. hosinota. T. hoshinota is referred to as the "black disease" because it rapidly overgrows and kills corals. Our evidence indicates that outbreaks of black disease are at least partially responsible for the massive coral mortality at the northern reef of Yongxing Island over the past 8 years, although human activities and heat-related coral bleaching cannot be discounted as minor causes for this coral decline. 相似文献

Mice were fed with source water (SW) and tap water (TW) for 90 d to evaluate hepatotoxicity induced by the drinking water. Histopathologic observation showed no obvious damage to hepatic tissue in the SW and TW groups. However, microarray analysis indicated that the SW and TW exposures affected many metabolic pathways, among which PPAR (peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors) signaling was most susceptible. Immunohistochemical staining demonstrated that both PPAR-α and PPAR-γ were significantly increased in the exposure groups compared to control. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay revealed that PPAR-α expression level was increased from 23.37±0.53 ng g(-1) liver weight in control group to 26.60±1.43 ng g(-1) liver weight in SW group and 27.68±1.10 ng g(-1) liver weight in TW group (p<0.05). For PPAR-γ, the expression level was also significantly enhanced from 0.83±0.07 ng g(-1) liver weight in control group to 1.11±0.20 ng g(-1) liver weight in SW group and 1.16±0.07 ng g(-1) liver weight in TW group (p<0.05). The SW and DW posed no obvious hepatotoxicity on mice and PPAR-α/-γ could be used as a novel biomarker to assess public health risk induced by slightly contaminated drinking water. 相似文献
