The purpose of this study is to investigate the customer-based brand equity (CBBE) of green brands and their impact on green purchase consumption with the moderating effect of religious commitment. Data were gathered from 315 consumers in three large cities in Pakistan and further analysed by partial least square. The results of this study revealed that there is a significant positive nexus between CBBE and green purchase consumption. Additionally, results showed the evidence of religious commitment moderating the relationship between CBBE and green purchase consumption. The findings are helpful to the greening companies, suggesting that they should focus on every component of brand performance in order to achieve the higher ranked performance that ultimately initiates green purchase and repurchase consumption. This research addresses the attitude behaviour gap in green purchase consumption by incorporating the contingent impact of religious commitment.

Mapping spatial distribution of climatological parameters with a good degree of accuracy is crucial in environmental modeling and planning. Nowadays, there are various models to estimate and predict spatial variables in an area but some such as cokriging and geographically weighted regression (GWR) have got more attention from experts in this field. The objectives of this study are to evaluate and compare GWR with ordinary cokriging (OCK) techniques for estimating the mean annual air temperature (MAT) of Iran using European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) data and auxiliary variables (e.g., longitude, latitude and altitude). The MAT-gridded data for Iran was collected in pixels during the time interval of 1987–2015 from the ERA-Interim re-analysis version of ECMWF. Validation results indicate that cokriging model with latitude and altitude for estimating MAT has the lowest MAE (0.0155), MBE (0.00085), RMSE (0.0251), and the highest NS (0.9999) in relation to other cokriging methods. On the other hand, GWR with altitude has better results than those of GWR with other auxiliary variables because of its MAE (0.1271), MBE (0.0124), RMSE (0.1760), and NS (0.9969). By comparing two mentioned methods, cokriging with latitude and altitude has provided the best performance in relation to GWR for prediction of MAT in Iran. To obtain accurate estimation of the spatial distribution of MAT, local residuals were analyzed. Results concluded that residuals of the OCK model have high spatial adaptations between the observed and predicted MAT data compared to the GWR model. Hence, OCK was a relatively optimum method for the estimation of MAT compared with GWR.

Rechna interfluvial region is one of the main regions of Punjab, Pakistan. It is the area which is lying between River Ravi and River Chenab, alluvial-filled. Radioactivity levels in soil samples, collected from southern Rechna interfluvial region, Pakistan, have been estimated by using gamma-ray spectrometric technique. 226Ra, 232Th, the primordial radionuclide 40K, and the artificial radionuclide 137Cs have been measured in the soil of the study area. The mean radioactivity levels of 226Ra, 232Th, 40K, and 137Cs were found to be 50.6 ± 1.7, 62.3 ± 3.2, 662.2 ± 32.1, and 3.1 ± 0.3 Bq kg???1, respectively. The mean radium equivalent activity (Raeq), outdoor radiation hazard index (H out), indoor radiation hazard index (H in), and terrestrial absorbed dose rate for the area under study were determined as 190.8 ± 8.7 Bq kg???1, 0.52, 0.65, and 69.8 nGy h???1, respectively. The annual effective dose to the general public was found to be 0.43 mSv. This value lies well below the limit of 1 mSv for general public as recommended by the International Commission on Radiological Protection. The measured values are comparable with other global radioactivity measurements and are found to be safe for the public and the environment.  相似文献

In present research work the effect of climate change over the humidex in Iran is analyzed. From this research, we can conclude that the PDIAQ index showed a special sensibility to changes in temperature and relative humidity, hence, it can be an interesting tool, may be even better than the humidex to show the expected effect of climate change in perception of air quality. Thus, it was found that the humidex expected in the future will be more elevated than that in the preceding period and, on the other hand, the PDWRC has clearly reached a lower value than in the preceding period. The same effects, other than those using the earlier indexes in a more detailed manner, were observed with the PDIAQ. This index showed a higher sensitivity to variations in temperature and relative humidity, than the humidex. Finally, the main results obtained must be considered at the time of design and during construction of future buildings, since buildings that are being constructed today will be occupied in the future years of the 2100s.  相似文献

A simple, rapid, and sensitive method involving the interaction of 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine with imipramine hydrochloride in presence of vanadium (V) in sulfuric acid medium has been proposed for the determination of vanadium. The purple-colored product developed showed an absorption maximum at 560 nm and was stable for 24 h. The working curve was linear over the concentration range of 0.1–2.8 μg ml − 1, with sensitivity of detection of 0.0124 μg ml − 1. Molar absorptivity and Sandell’s sensitivity were found to be 2.6 × 104 l/mol cm and 0.0039 μg cm − 1, respectively. The accuracy of the proposed method was assessed by Student’s t test and variance ratio F test, and the results were on par with the reported method. The method was successfully used in the determination of V in water, human urine, soil, and plant samples, and it was free from interference by various concomitant ions.  相似文献

Over recent decades Auckland, New Zealand, metropolitan area has vastly expanded as a result of rapid population growth and low-density housing developments. In order to manage the uncontrolled low-density urban sprawl, Auckland Council proposed a compact city model through promoting higher density housing developments. In order to understand the implications of this transition on future residential water demand, this study first evaluated water consumption in three major housing types in Auckland including single houses, low-rise and high-rise apartments. Using the geographic information system, the water consumption information, estimated from a large sample of 60,000 dwellings across Auckland, was subsequently integrated with the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan outlining the future housing composition over different areas in Auckland. Through developing different growth scenarios, the study showed that the housing transition from single houses to more intensified multi-unit houses cannot considerably affect the average per capita water consumption in Auckland.  相似文献
