微生物强化处理与堆制强化处理含油污泥对比试验 总被引:16,自引:0,他引:16
为探索含油污泥的高效处理方法,对含油量为12.68%的污泥进行微生物菌剂强化处理和堆制强化处理现场试验.在第1、15、30d分别向微生物强化处理单元投加微生物菌剂和营养液;同时向堆制强化单元投加10kg畜禽粪便来提供共降解物质,强化堆制处理过程.结果表明,微生物强化处理单元含油量持续下降,56d后下降至6.42%,去除率达到47%;强化堆制单元处理效果较好,56d后含油量下降至6.98%,去除率达到31%;对照单元含油量则变化很小,56d后含油量为10.15%.对照单元的pH基本保持不变,最高为8.28,最低为7.93,微生物强化处理单元pH最低达到7.33,一般稳定在7.8左右,菌剂的添加对pH影响明显.堆制强化处理单元温度随着农家肥的添加而剧烈升高,最高达到54℃.试验进行过程中监测了样品中微生物总数的变化情况.通过气谱-质谱分析,可以明显地看出2种方法处理后,含油污泥中石油成分的差异,对碳原子数小于21的烃类有着良好的去除效果. 相似文献

We report a case of prenatal diagnosis of trisomy 20p resulting from a maternal pericentric inversion. The diagnosis was confirmed on both chorionic villi and amniotic cells. This case underlines the fact that prenatal ultrasound diagnosis of this structural anomaly is difficult. The only early sonographic feature was increased nuchal translucency. Eel populations worldwide are dangerously close to collapsing. Our study is the first to show that current levels of dioxin-like
contaminants are strong candidates because of their devastating effects on development and survival of eel embryos. Female
and male silver eels were artificially stimulated to maturation and reproduction by treatment with carp pituitary extracts
and hCG, respectively. During maturation of female European silver eels, about 60 g fat per kg eel is incorporated in the
oocytes. Together with the fat, however, persistent organic pollutants such as dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)
are incorporated too. The total dioxin-like toxic potency of the individual gonad batches was determined as 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxine equivalents (TEQs), using an in vitro reporter gene assay. The observed differences in development and survival showed
a significant negative correlation with the TEQ levels in the gonads, already at levels far below the maximal allowable level
for fish consumption, i.e., 4 ng TEQ/kg fish. The clear inverse relationship between the TEQ level and the survival period
of the fertilised eggs strongly suggests that the current levels of dioxin-like compounds seriously impair the reproduction
of the European eel. The peak of the environmental levels of dioxin-like PCBs and the decline of eel coincide worldwide, further
suggesting that, in addition to other threats, these contaminants contributed significantly to the current collapse in eel

The evaluation of biospheric role of the boreal forests in the accumulation of carbon is connected with the evaluation of
organic matter (OM) pool in soils. The research sites were larch forests, they are situated on Nizhne-Tungusskoe Plateau.
Larch forests of feather-moss and lichen types (110 and 380 years old) were formed on 'ochric podbur' soils. Litter stocks
are 3.5–4.5 kg m− 2 with thickness 10–25 cm. Cryomezomorphic northern taiga soils contains 38–73 t (carbon) ha− 1. Pool of fast mineralized OM has average value 38.1 t (carbon) ha− 1, including 20.5 and 6.4 t (Carbon) ha− 1 of labile compounds on surface and in the soil, and 11.2 t (carbon) ha− 1 of mobile OM. Microbial mass reaches 1.78–3.47 t (carbon) ha− 1, its proportion is 3.6–4.9% of the total OM carbon. Zoomass of feather-moss larch forest is 0.20–0.61 * 10− 2, in lichen larch forest −0.01–0.07 * 10− 2 t (carbon) ha− 1. A pool of resistant to biological decomposition and bonded to mineral soil matrix OM is 17.7 t (carbon) ha− 1 and it varies from 18.6 to 29.0 in feather-moss larch forest, and from 6.4 to 17.0 t (carbon) ha− 1 in lichen larch forest. Two-years field experiment has been performed to determine transformation rates of various plant
litter fractions and to clarify the role of soil biota in these processes. The results showed participation of all biota groups
in the decomposition of plant residues caused weight loss of larch-needles and root mortmass. Isolation of organic matter

The Pliocene lignite hypothesis is an environmental hypothesis that has been proposed to explain the etiology of Balkan endemic nephropathy (BEN). Aqueous leaching experiments were conducted on a variety of coal samples in order to simulate groundwater leaching of organic compounds, and to further test the role of the Pliocene lignite hypothesis in the etiology of BEN. Experiments were performed on lignite coal samples from endemic BEN areas in Romania and Serbia, and lignite and bituminous coals from nonendemic regions in Romania and the USA. Room temperature, hot water bath, and Soxhlet aqueous extraction experiments were conducted between 25 and 80 °C, and from 5 to 128 days in duration. A greater number of organic compounds and in higher concentrations were present in all three types of leaching experiments involving endemic area Pliocene lignite samples compared to all other coals examined. A BEN causing molecule or molecules may be among phenols, PAHs, benzenes, and/or lignin degradation compounds. The proposed transport pathway of the Pliocene lignite hypothesis for organic compound exposure from endemic area Pliocene lignite coals to well and spring drinking water, is likely. Aromatic compounds leached by groundwater from Pliocene lignite deposits in the vicinity of endemic BEN areas may play a role in the etiology of the disease. A better understanding of organic compounds leached by groundwater from Pliocene lignite deposits may potentially lead to the identification and implementation of effective strategies for the prevention of exposure to the causative agent(s) for BEN, and in turn, prevention of the disease. 相似文献

The present study was carried out to determine the mangrove area water quality, mangrove diversity and density at Minnie Bay, Lalaji Bay and Aerial Bay (Andaman Islands, India). The physicochemical parameters such as salinity, nitrate, inorganic phosphate and total phosphorus varied significantly. Mangrove diversity was high at Minnie Bay while density at Aerial Bay. Rhizophora mucronata dominated at all three sites during the study period. Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H′?=?2.261) and Pielou’s evenness (J′?=?0.8348) were high at Minnie Bay. The higher species density cover (5.679 Nos./m2) was recorded at Aerial Bay. Bray-Curtis cluster analysis showed 63.35 % similarity and formed two clusters. Though uplift and subsidence of coastal land due to the Mw 9.3 Sumatra earthquake in 2004 has affected the mangrove vegetation, its rejuvenation was observed in the newly formed inter-tidal areas due to changes in coastal geomorphology. Metal smelting is often responsible for local contamination of environmental compartments. Dust materials escaping from the smelting facilities not only settle in the soil, but can also have direct effects on populations living close to these operations (by ingestion or inhalation). In this particular study, we investigate dusts from Cu–Co metal smelters in the Zambian Copperbelt, using a combination of mineralogical techniques (XRD, SEM/EDS, and TEM/EDS), in order to understand the solid speciation of the contaminants, as well as their bioaccessibility using in vitro tests in simulated gastric and lung fluids to assess the exposure risk for humans. The leaching of metals was mainly dependent on the contaminant mineralogy. Based on our results, a potential risk can be recognized, particularly from ingestion of the dust, with bioaccessible fractions ranging from 21 to 89 % of the total contaminant concentrations. In contrast, relatively low bioaccessible fractions were observed for simulated lung fluid extracts, with values ranging from 0.01 % (Pb) up to 16.5 % (Co) of total contaminant concentrations. Daily intakes via oral exposure, calculated for an adult (70 kg, ingestion rate 50 mg dust per day), slightly exceeded the tolerable daily intake limits for Co (1.66× for fly ash and 1.19× for slag dust) and occasionally also for Pb (1.49×, fly ash) and As (1.64×, electrostatic precipitator dust). Cobalt has been suggested as the most important pollutant, and the direct pathways of the population’s exposures to dust particles in the industrial parts of the Zambian Copperbelt should be further studied in interdisciplinary investigations. 相似文献
