2010年1月~2011年1月,在杭州湾南岸滩涂湿地5个断面(S1~S3为排水区,S4~S5为非排水区。)10个采样站进行桡足类群落结构的周年调查,分析了不同生态环境下桡足类群落的种类组成、密度、生物量和种类丰富度等时空变化特征。共发现桡足类19种,剑水蚤和猛水蚤各7种、哲水蚤5种,其中,8种为淡水种,11种为咸淡水种。根据种群的年平均密度和出现频度,淡水种类的优势种为汤匙华哲水蚤(Sinocalanus dorrii)、台湾温剑水蚤(Thermocyclops taihokuensis)和三角大吉猛水蚤(Tachidius triangularis),半咸淡水种类的优势种为中华哲水蚤(Calanus sinicus)和球状许水蚤(Schmackeria forbesi)。群落年平均密度变幅2.64~39.16/L,平均13.54/L;生物量0~2.078 mg/L,平均0.164 mg/L。哲水蚤的群落密度和生物量分别占总桡足类的29.32%和79.88%。密度季节变化以春季>秋季>夏季>冬季,水平变化以S3>S2>S1>S5>S4,S2断面中潮位比高潮位多67.00%。Margalef种类丰富度在1.20~6.20,平均3.35。污对中潮位桡足类群落的影响大于高潮位。 相似文献

The Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin is considered threatened due to several factors including pollution in Hong Kong and the risks due to consumption of fish tainted with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and organochlorine pesticides were assessed. Six species of fish Collichthys lucida, Pseudosciaena crocea, Johnius sp., Thryssa sp., Mugil sp. and Trichiurus sp., which comprise the main prey species of humpback dolphins were collected for analyses. Risks due to total PCBs, total TEQs, PCB 118 and the pesticides were assessed with the use of toxicity reference values as the threshold reference benchmarks. The calculated risk quotients (RQs) showed that the risks associated with organochlorines were generally low. The highest RQ was associated with total TEQs suggesting that dioxin-like PCBs may pose the highest risk to the dolphins. The HCHs, total PCBs and heptachlor had comparatively high RQs and thus they should also be the priority organochlorines that would require further investigation. 相似文献

This work describes the environmentally friendly technology for oxidation of ammonia (NH3) to form nitrogen at temperatures range from 423K to 673K by selective catalytic oxidation (SCO) over a nanosized Pt-Rh/γ-Al2O3 catalyst prepared by the incipient wetness impregnation method of hexachloroplatinic acid (H2PtCl6) and rhodium (III) nitrate (Rh(NO3)3) with γ-Al2O3 in a tubular fixed-bed flow quartz reactor (TFBR). The characterization of catalysts were thoroughly measured using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), threedimensional excitation-emission fluorescent matrix (EEFM) spectroscopy, UV-Vis absorption, dynamic lightscattering (DLS), zeta potential meter, and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The results demonstrated that at a temperature of 673K and an oxygen content of 4%, approximately 99% of the NH3 was removed by catalytic oxidation over the nanosized Pt-Rh/γ-Al2O3 catalyst. N2 was the main product in NH3-SCO process. Further, it reveals that the oxidation of NH3 was proceeds by the over-oxidation of NH3 into NO, which was conversely reacted with the NH3 to yield N2. Therefore, the application of nanosized Pt-Rh/γ-Al2O3 catalyst can significantly enhance the catalytic activity toward NH3 oxidation. One fluorescent peak for fresh catalyst was different with that of exhausted catalyst. It indicates that EEFM spectroscopy was proven to be an appropriate and effective method to characterize the Pt clusters in intrinsic emission from nanosized Pt-Rh/γ-Al2O3 catalyst. Ammonia (NH(3)) is an important product used in the chemical industry, and is common place in industrial wastewater. Industrial wastewater containing ammonia is generally either toxic or has concentrations or temperatures such that direct biological treatment is unfeasible. This investigation used aqueous solutions containing more of ammonia for catalytic liquid-phase oxidation in a trickle-bed reactor (TBR) based on Cu/La/Ce composite catalysts, prepared by co-precipitation of Cu(NO(3))(2), La(NO(3))(2), and Ce(NO(3))(3) at 7:2:1 molar concentrations. The experimental results indicated that the ammonia conversion of the wet oxidation in the presence of the Cu/La/Ce composite catalysts was determined by the Cu/La/Ce catalyst. Minimal ammonia was removed from the solution by the wet oxidation in the absence of any catalyst, while approximately 91% ammonia removal was achieved by wet oxidation over the Cu/La/Ce catalyst at 230 degrees C with oxygen partial pressure of 2.0 MPa. Furthermore, the effluent streams were conducted at a liquid hourly space velocity of under 9 h(-1) in the wet catalytic processes, and a reaction pathway was found linking the oxidizing ammonia to nitric oxide, nitrogen and water. The solution contained by-products, including nitrates and nitrites. Nitrite selectivity was minimized and ammonia removal maximized when the feed ammonia solution had a pH of around 12.0. 相似文献

Dechlorination pathways of ortho-substituted PCBs by UV irradiation in n-hexane and their correlation to the charge distribution on carbon atom 总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
The photodegradations of 22 individual polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) congeners (including 21 non-coplanar ortho substituted and one non-ortho substituted) by irradiation with ultraviolet lamp in n-hexane solution were studied. Photoproducts were identified by matching their retention times and mass spectra with those of authentic standards. PCB congener with less than two chlorides was photodegraded within half an hour, if more than three chlorine on ring, the photodechlorination time for PCB needs one and half hours or more, sometimes even longer than 15 h. The half-life of PCB degradation by photodechlorination was much shorter than that by anaerobic biological dechlorination. Charge distribution on carbon atom combined with the monitoring products of individual PCB congeners were used to deduce the photodegradation pathways. The higher the charge distribution for carbon to which chlorine is attached, the easier for photodechlorination to occur. A lot of chlorine atoms attached PCB, the dechlorination was found to occur prior to the carbon with higher charge distribution at the benzene ring with more chlorine atoms attached. 相似文献

The species of copper and zinc, such as bioexchangeable, skeletal, easily reducible (Fe and Mn oxides), moderately reducible (crystalline Mn oxide), organic combined with sulfides, and detritus with minerals, in mud and sand, separated from the surface Antarctic Ocean and the Taiwan Erhjin Chi coastal (including river and estuarine) sediments, have been analyzed by sequential leaching methods. Results show that in the Antarctic Ocean sediments, high concentrations of total copper (128 mg/kg) and zinc (458 mg/kg) were found in the high mud (99.09%) content samples compared with the low concentrations of total copper (83.8 mg/kg) and zinc (288 mg/kg) in low mud (51.69%) content samples. High concentrations of copper, zinc, manganese and iron are possibly due to the characteristics of manganese nodules, in which the species of copper and zinc are mainly contained in the crystalline Mn oxide phase. In the Taiwan Erhjin Chi coastal sediments, the total copper and zinc concentrations in mud and sand vary with season and location. High values were generally observed in the river sediments during the dry season, and low values were in the estuarine and coastal sediments during the heavy rainy season. High percentages of copper (as high as 49.4%) and zinc (as high as 76.7%) in mud and sand were in the bioexchangeable phase including the skeletal phase. This result might be correlated with the problems arising from human impact on copper and zinc as well as sewage pollution in Taiwan. The cyanobacteria-bloom in raw waters frequently causes an unpredictable chemical dosing of preoxidation and coagulation for an effective removal of algal cells in water treatment plants. This study investigated the effects of preoxidation with NaOCl and ClO_2 on the coagulation-flotation effectiveness in the removal of two commonly blooming cyanobacteria species, Microcystis aeruginosa(MA) and Cylindrospermopsis raciborskii(CR), and their corresponding trihalomethane(THM) formation potential. The results showed that dual dosing with NaOCl plus ClO_2 was more effective in enhancing the deformation of cyanobacterial cells compared to single dosing with Na OCl, especially for CR-rich water.Both preoxidation approaches for CR-rich water effectively reduced the CR cell count with less remained dissolved organic carbon(DOC), which benefited subsequent coagulation–flotation. However, preoxidation led to an adverse release of algogenic organic matter(AOM) in the case of MA-rich water. The release of AOM resulted in a poor removal in MA cells and a large amount of THM formation after oxidation-assisted coagulation-flotation process. The reduction in THM formation potential of CR-rich waters is responsible for effective algae and DOC removal by alum coagulation. It is concluded that the species-specific characteristic of cyanobacteria and their AOM released during chlorination significantly influences the performance of coagulation–flotation for AOM removal and corresponding THM formation. 相似文献

This project is aimed at studying the feasibility of using sewage sludge to prepare culture media for microalgae (Chlorella-HKBU) and the use of the sludge-grown algae as a feed for some aquatic organisms. Part I of the project included results on preparing sludge extracts and their use on algal culture. By comparing two culturing techniques, aeration and shaking, it was noted that both lag and log phases were shortened in the aeration system. A subsequent experiment noted that algal growth subject to aeration rates of 1.0 and 1.5 liters/min had similar lag and log phases. In addition, both aeration rates had a significantly higher (P < 0.05) final cell density than that of 0.5 liters/min. A detailed study on the variation of growth conditions on the algal growth was done. The results indicated that pH values of all the cultures declined below 5 at day 12. The removal rates of ammonia N ranged from 62% to 70%. The sludge-grown algae contained a rather substantial amount of heavy metals (µg/g): Zn 289–581, Cu 443–682, Ni 310–963, Mn 96–126, Cr 25–118, and Fe 438–653. This implied that the rather high levels of heavy metals may impose adverse effects on higher trophic organisms. 相似文献

Organotin concentrations in three intertidal neogastropods from the coastal waters of Taiwan 总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
This study was aimed to determine organotin concentrations in the muricids Thais clavigera, Thais tuberosa and Morula granulata on an island wide scale and to find an adequate bioindicator species for long-term monitoring purpose. Samples were collected from the coast of Taiwan and vicinity islands with organotin analysis by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Because triphenyltin (TPT) could not be discriminated from tributyltin (TBT) by the extraction method, organotins were measured as TBT + TPT and total hexane extractable organotins. Severity of imposex in the muricid population samples expressed as relative penis size (RPS) indices were calculated and compared to determine a suitable bioindicator species. In T. clavigera, T. tuberosa and M. granulata, TBT + TPT were 17-157, 1-44 and 117-1343 ng Sn g(-1) dry wt, respectively. And total organotins varied in the range of 181 to 1125, 23 to 44 and 229 to 1402 ng Sn g(-1) dry wt, respectively. A positive correlation was found between TBT + TPT and total organotins in M. granulata (TBT + TPT = Total organotins x 1.01-110.79; R2=0.97; p<0.001). At the site of Dapaisha, total organotins in M. granulata was 10 times higher than in T. tuberosa (i.e. 242 versus 23 ng Sn g(-1) dry wt). No signs of imposex were found in T. tuberosa (a single site in two subsequent years) and in M. granulata (seven collection sites). The degree of imposex (RPS) of T. clavigera varied from 0.2 to 38.1%. The RPS indices from fishing harbors were not higher than from rocky shores and oyster culture sites. No correlation was found between RPS indices and concentrations of TBT + TPT or total organotins. M. granulata seemed to be insensitive to organotin pollution although organotins were also detected. Our results indicate that organotin pollution is wide spread in coastal waters of Taiwan and pollutants at least include butyltins and phenyltins. As a bioindicator species, T. clavigera is more appropriate than T. tuberosa and M. granulata to monitor organotin contamination. 相似文献
