A new aliphatic block copolyester was synthesized in bulk from transesterification techniques between poly((R)-3-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) and poly(isosorbide succinate) (PIS). Additionally, other two block copolyesters were synthesized in bulk either from transesterification reactions involving PHB and poly(l-lactide) (PLLA) or from ring-opening copolymerization of l-lactide and hydroxyl-terminated PHB, as result of a previous transesterification reactions with isosorbide. Two-component blends of PHB and PIS or PLLA were also prepared as comparative systems. SEC, MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOFMS), 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, WAXD, solubility tests, and TG thermal analysis were used for characterization. The block copolymer structures of the products were evidenced by MALDI-TOFMS, 13C NMR, and WAXD data. The block copolymers and the corresponding binary blends presented different solubility properties, as revealed by solubility tests. Although the incorporation of PIS sequences into PHB main backbone did not enhance the thermal stability of the product, it reduced its crystallinity, which could be advantageous for faster biodegradation rate. These products, composed of PHB and PIS or PLLA sequences, are an interesting alternative in biomedical applications.  相似文献

An extracellular poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) depolymerase produced by a thermotolerant fungal soil isolate, Aspergillus fumigatus 202, was purified and characterized. Maximum PHB depolymerase production was obtained at the end of 48 h with initial medium pH 7.0 and 45 °C in Bushnell Haas Minerals medium containing PHB as sole source of carbon. The PHB depolymerase was purified using size exclusion chromatography to a fold purification of 20.62 and 61.62% yield. SDS-PAGE and isoelectric focusing revealed the molecular weight and pI of the purified enzyme as 63,744 Da and 4.2, respectively. N-terminal amino acid sequence of purified enzyme was HAXDAYLVK. This non-glycosylated enzyme was most active at pH 9.0 and 45 °C. Purified enzyme was inactivated by N-bromosuccinimide and dithiothreitol suggesting the involvement of tryptophan residues and disulfide bonds at its active site. Nonionic detergents like Tween 20, Tween 80 and Triton X-100 inhibited the enzyme activity. Ions like Ca+2 and Mg+2 (5 mM) increased the enzyme activity 1.5 times. Fe+2 effectively inhibited the enzyme activity to 88% whereas Hg+2 completely inhibited the enzyme.  相似文献

During the summertime of 2007/2008, carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) fluxes across air–water interface were investigated in the littoral zones of Lake Mochou and Lake Tuanjie, east Antarctica, using a static chamber technique. The mean fluxes of CO2 and CH4 were ?70.8 mgCO2 m?2 h?1 and 144.6 μgCH4 m?2 h?1, respectively, in the littoral zone of Lake Mochou; The mean fluxes were ?36.9 mgCO2 m?2 h?1 and 109.8 μgCH4 m?2 h?1, respectively, in the littoral zone of Lake Tuanjie. Their fluxes showed large temporal and spatial dynamics. The CO2 fluxes showed a significantly negative correlation with daily total radiation (DTR) and a weakly negative correlation with air temperature and water temperature, indicating that sunlight intensity controlled the magnitude of CO2 fluxes from the open lakes. The CH4 fluxes significantly correlated with local air temperature, water table and total dissolved solids (TDS), indicating that they were the predominant factors influencing CH4 fluxes. Summertime CO2 budgets in the littoral zones of Lake Mochou and Lake Tuanjie were estimated to be ?152.9 gCO2 m?2 and ?79.7 gCO2 m?2, respectively, and net CH4 emissions were estimated to be 312.3 mgCH4 m?2 and 237.2 mgCH4 m?2, respectively. Our results show that shallow, open, alga-rich lakes might be strong summertime CO2 absorbers and small CH4 emitters during the open water in coastal Antarctica.  相似文献

Increasing evidence has demonstrated toxic effects of vehicular emitted ultrafine particles (UFPs, diameter < 100 nm), with the highest human exposure usually occurring on and near roadways. Children are particularly at risk due to immature respiratory systems and faster breathing rates. In this study, children’s exposure to in-cabin air pollutants, especially UFPs, was measured inside four diesel-powered school buses. Two 1990 and two 2006 model year diesel-powered school buses were selected to represent the age extremes of school buses in service. Each bus was driven on two routine bus runs to study school children’s exposure under different transportation conditions in South Texas. The number concentration and size distribution of UFPs, total particle number concentration, PM2.5, PM10, black carbon (BC), CO, and CO2 levels were monitored inside the buses. The average total particle number concentrations observed inside the school buses ranged from 7.3 × 103 to 3.4 × 104 particles cm?3, depending on engine age and window position. When the windows were closed, the in-cabin air pollutants were more likely due to the school buses’ self-pollution. The 1990 model year school buses demonstrated much higher air pollutant concentrations than the 2006 model year ones. When the windows were open, the majority of in-cabin air pollutants came from the outside roadway environment with similar pollutant levels observed regardless of engine ages. The highest average UFP concentration was observed at a bus transfer station where approximately 27 idling school buses were queued to load or unload students. Starting-up and idling generated higher air pollutant levels than the driving state. Higher in-cabin air pollutant concentrations were observed when more students were on board.  相似文献

以可溶性淀粉为原料,在反相悬浮体系中合成N,N′-亚甲基双丙烯酰胺交联淀粉微球为载体,研究了新型吸附材料淀粉微球(cross-linked starch microsphere,CSMs)对Mn+(Cu2+、Cr3+、Pb2+)的静态吸附行为。利用扫描电镜、X射线衍射仪和红外光谱仪对微球及其吸附产物进行表征,分析讨论了3种金属原子结构,研究了吸附机理。结果表明:308K时,Cu2+、Pb2+和Cr3+的饱和吸附量分别是2.43、0.30和0.27 mmol/g,CSMs对Cu2+离子吸附能力最强,并且其通过物理吸附、配位吸附方式吸附Mn+,并得出引起微球吸附能力大小可能与金属离子电荷、离子半径和外层电子排布的差异因素有关。  相似文献

伴随着砷工业的发展,含砷化学品引发的重大环境污染事故时有发生。一般砷污染事件发生后,土壤是其最直接的受害者,有必要寻找一种快速且行之有效的方法对砷污染土壤进行控制修复。针对此问题,通过实验探讨了柠檬酸萃取修复砷污染土壤的效果,研究了柠檬酸浓度、液土比、萃取时间及土壤共存离子对柠檬酸萃取砷的效果的影响,为砷污染土壤的治理提供依据。结果表明,柠檬酸是一种高效的砷萃取剂;随着柠檬酸浓度、液土比、萃取时间的增加,砷的萃取率均有所升高;当柠檬酸摩尔浓度为0.25 mol/L、液土比为20 mL/g、萃取时间为21 h时,柠檬酸对砷的萃取率达到最高值(70.58%);土壤中共存的PO43-、Zn2+、Fe2+,由于其竞争作用,能使柠檬酸对砷的萃取率降低。  相似文献

Atmospheric deposition of phthalate esters in a subtropical city   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In Chinese cities, air pollution has become a serious and aggravating environmental problem undermining the sustainability of urban ecosystems and the quality of urban life. Bulk atmospheric deposition samples were collected two-weekly, from February 2007 to January 2008, at three representative areas, one suburban and two urbanized, in the subtropical city, Guangzhou, China, to assess the deposition fluxes and seasonal variations of phthalate esters (PAEs). Sixteen PAE congeners in bulk deposition samples were measured and the depositional fluxes of ∑16PAEs ranged from 3.41 to 190 μg m?2 day?1, and were highly affected by local anthropogenic activities. The significant relationship between PAEs and particulate depositional fluxes (correlation coefficient R2 = 0.72, P < 0.001) showed PAEs are associated primarily with particles. Temporal flux variations of PAEs were influenced by seasonal changes in meteorological parameters, and the deposition fluxes of PAEs were obviously higher in wet season than in dry season. Diisobutyl phthalate (DiBP), Di-n-butyl phthalate (DnBP), and Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) dominated the PAE pattern in bulk depositions, which is consistent with a high consumption of the plasticizer market in China. PAE profiles in bulk deposition showed similarities exhibited in both time and space, and a weak increase of high molecular weight PAE (HMW PAE) contribution in the wet season compared to those in the dry season. Average atmospheric deposition fluxes of PAEs in the present study were significantly higher than those from other studies, reflecting strong anthropogenic inputs as a consequence of rapid industrial and urban development in the region.  相似文献

This study develops fine temporal (seasonal, day-of-week, diurnal) and vertical allocations of anthropogenic emissions for the TRACE-P inventory and evaluates their impacts on the East Asian air quality prediction using WRF-Chem simulations in July 2001 at 30-km grid spacing against available surface measurements from EANET and NEMCC. For NO2 and SO2, the diurnal and vertical redistributions of emissions play essential roles, while the day-of-week variation is less important. When all incorporated, WRF-Chem best simulates observations of surface NO2 and SO2 concentrations, while using the default emissions produces the worst result. The sensitivity is especially large over major cities and industrial areas, where surface NO2 and SO2 concentrations are reduced by respectively 3–7 and 6–12 ppbv when using the scaled emissions. The incorporation of all the three redistributions of emissions simulates surface O3 concentrations higher by 4–8 ppbv at night and 2–4 ppbv in daytime over broad areas of northern, eastern and central China. To this sensitivity, the diurnal redistribution contributes more than the other two.  相似文献
