Model fly ashes containing Florisil, CuCl2.2H2O and PAHs with structures similar to dibenzo-p-dioxin or dibenzofuran were heated at 250 degrees C in He/O2 with regard to a supposed intramolecular reaction mechanism for oxygen incorporation. Highest reactivities in PCDF formation could be found for model compounds containing a biphenyl structure, while condensed pi-systems lead to a decrease in reactivity for such compounds. Biphenyl is almost completely converted to dibenzofuran. PCDD formation from six-membered rings like xanthene/9,10-dihydroanthracene is of minor importance. 18O-labeling of gaseous oxygen reveals no common reaction step for oxygen incorporation using 9-fluorenone, xanthene, diphenyl ether and diphenyl-2-carboxylic acid as model compounds. Pre-existing oxygen in reactants is a major source for ether groups in PCDD and PCDF. Determination of labeled and unlabeled CO and CO2 besides He/O2 reflects higher reactivities towards oxidation for model compounds containing ether groups than for compounds with carbonyl groups.  相似文献

作为ARCMIP国际计划的一部分,罗斯比中心区域气候模型(RCA2)针对整个北冰洋地区的气候作了数值模拟整合,并与来自sHEBA数据集的观测资料作了比较,RCA2标准模型对北极冬季的云量和长波辐射的模拟较实况偏多.通过引入新的云量参数化方案(该参数化方案显著地改进了云量的年循环)减少了这部分误差,确定了介于晴空向下大气长波辐射与云层底部的长波辐射的补偿率,利用可以更准确描述冰晶与太阳辐射相互作用的辐射方案修正了模型,从而使得模型对云-太阳辐射间的相互作用的描述更接近实际.在模拟晴空辐射部分,由于太阳辐射大气透射率过大,经常在边界层云的顶部产生正偏差.引入真实海冰和积雪两种表面反照率的时间变化,对准确模拟地面能量净收支是至关重要的.同样,为了准确模拟北极圈地区近地面的热力学过程,将雪面温度作为预报量引入模型中也似乎是必不可少的.  相似文献

自20世纪60年代以来,瑞典梅拉伦湖、哈马伦湖、韦特恩湖和维纳恩湖等大湖泊的浮游植物和环境变量一直处于监测之下.20世纪70年代政府出台了一些减少磷和工业废品排放的措施,于是水体磷的含量降低了90%~95%,结果大多数污染湖盆磷的浓度减少了一半.体现在浮游植物群落的变化是夏季蓝藻细菌、春季硅藻和隐鞭毛藻的生物量迅速降低,另一个反应是藻华期变短,生长季节的物种丰富度和生物量均匀度增加,浮游植物群落内物种数量和组成发生变化.此外,大湖泊物种丰富度相应与湖泊的特征有关.本文对湖泊中有毒蓝藻细菌的发生作了介绍,结合哈马伦湖和梅拉伦湖的藻华,确定在13~0.1 μg/L之间的微藻素最大和最小值;给出利用浮游植物作为监测指标确定水质量变化的基本框架,并提出了评价标准.  相似文献

Experiments were carried out with the marine sponge Suberites domuncula to determine whether sponges may express-like mammalian tumor cells-a multidrug-like transporter system. The results demonstrate that sponge cells possess such a protective system termed multixenobiotic resistance (MXR) pump or P-glycoprotein-like pump. The protein was identified by antisera for the mammalian P170 multidrug resistance protein as a 130 kDa molecule. Binding studies were performed with 3H-vincristine (3H-VCR) and membrane vesicles; this process is ATP-dependent and inhibited by verapamil, which is known to reverse the multidrug-resistance phenotype in mammalian systems. Accumulation experiments were performed to demonstrate that the uptake of 3H-VCR is time-dependent, and increases at elevated extracellular levels of 3H-VCR. Application of the dyeing technique with calcein-AM, a suitable functional assay for multidrug transporter systems in mammal cells, also revealed the existence of the MXR pump in S. domuncula plasma membranes. These data demonstrate that S. domuncula is provided with a multidrug-like transporter, the MXR pump, which might function as a protection system for sponges in polluted environments.  相似文献

Laboratory experiments were undertaken to examine fertilization success in the intertidal prosobranch limpets Patella ulyssiponensis and Patella vulgata. Alkalization of eggs (10 min in pH 9.0 sea water) prior to fertilization trials improved fertilization rates greatly. Fertilization success was found to be a function of sperm concentration, gamete age and contact time. Sperm concentration needed for optimum fertilization success in vivo ranged between 105 and 107 sperm ml−1 for both species although at higher concentrations the number of normally developing trochophore larvae decreased. For P. vulgata, sperm longevity (at a concentration of 106 sperm ml−1) did not exceed 6 h, whereas eggs of both species were fertilizable for up to 12 h. Maximum fertilization success occurred after 15–30 min gamete contact time. The Vogel et al. (Math Biosci 58:189–216, 1982) fertilization kinetics model is developed to allow for non-complete fertilizations under optimal sperm concentrations, and a new parameter fitting technique is developed to improve estimates of fertilization success for short gamete contact times.  相似文献

The Rossby Centre Atmospheric Regional Climate Model (RCA2) is described and simulation results, for the present climate over Europe, are evaluated against available observations. Systematic biases in the models mean climate and climate variability are documented and key parameterization weaknesses identified. The quality of near-surface parameters is investigated in some detail, particularly temperature, precipitation, the surface energy budget and cloud cover. The model simulates the recent, observed climate and variability with a high degree of realism. Compensating errors in the components of the surface radiation budget are highlighted and the fundamental causes of these biases are traced to the relevant aspects of the cloud, precipitation and radiation parameterizations. The model has a tendency to precipitate too frequently at small rates, this has a direct impact on the simulation of cloud-radiation interaction and surface temperatures. Great care must be taken in the use of observations to evaluate high resolution RCMs, when they are forced by analyzed boundary conditions. This is particularly true with respect to precipitation and cloudiness, where observational uncertainty is often larger than the RCM bias.  相似文献

Effective and efficient information dissemination is crucial for a successful management of coasts and beaches. Almost all coastal management activities use Internet portals to provide electronic accessibility of data and information. In this respect, we have analyzed web tracking data and costs to investigate the effectiveness and efficiency of two coastal management web portals. Indicators for the visiting quality, the volume and characteristics of the information flow and the associated costs were combined. The results show that mainly professional users were attracted by the two investigated online coastal management information offers. Furthermore, the coastal management contents were mainly relevant on regional scale. The results indicate that it is not enough to provide various information, instead it further needs also efforts to disseminate this information to a broader public. Specific preparation and presentation of information for the target groups would lead to an active dissemination process. The investigation of the costs shows that an increasing efficiency of information dissemination via the Internet goes together with the long term use of the information infrastructure. Therefore large coastal management web portals need runtimes of several years. The applied method combined and simplified actual used web analytic methods to allow valuable insights into the information dissemination of coastal management web portals. In this way the method can be used to help coastal decision makers or other practitioners to screen their web presence in the background of information supply and demand for all visitor groups they want to reach.  相似文献

Residues of halogenated pollutants bioaccumulated in eggs of the south polar skua (Catharacta maccormicki) from the Antarctic were extracted, purified, and fractionated. The target fraction which contained the bulk of the chloropesticides was concentrated and incubated with cell suspensions of the isolated bacterium Sulfurospirillum multivorans (formerly Dehalospirillum multivorans). S. multivorans was previously identified as a good anoxic transformer of several halogenated compounds. The compounds of technical toxaphene 2-endo,3-exo,5-endo,6-exo,8,8,10,10-octachlorobornane (B8-1413, also known as P-26) and 2-endo,3-exo,5-endo,6-exo,8,8,9,10,10-nonachlorobornane (B9-1679, also known as P-50) as well as 1,1-dichloro-2,2-bis(p-chlorophenyl)ethene (p,p′-DDE) and 1-exo,2-exo,4,5,6,7,8,8-octachloro-2,3-exo-epoxy-3a,4,7,7a-tetrahydro-4,7-methanoindene (oxychlordane) were present at a sufficiently high concentration and hence useful for studying the anaerobic transformation by the bacterium. When treated with S. multivorans, B8-1413 and B9-1679 were almost quantitatively transformed within 1 day. For B9-1679, the major metabolite was found to be 2-endo,3-exo,5-endo,6-exo,8,9,10-heptachlorobornane (B7-1001). Compared to the toxaphenes, transformation of oxychlordane and p,p′-DDE was significantly slower. Even after seven days, about 10% of the initial pool was detected in the extracts. 1-chloro-2,2-bis(p-chlorophenyl)ethene (p,p′-DDMU) was identified as a transformation product of p,p′-DDE. The four compounds in this study comprise some of the most persistent chloropesticide residues found in marine birds. In case there is sufficient transformation before they reach the top predators, the bioaccumulative potential can be significantly reduced.  相似文献
