Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) are widely used as flame retardants. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the PBDE serum levels in residents from an electronic waste dismantling region, residents living within 50 km of the dismantling region, and a referent group with no occupational PBDE exposure. Fourteen PBDE congeners including BDE-28, BDE-47, BDE-99, BDE-100, BDE-153, BDE-154, BDE-183, BDE-196, BDE-197, BDE-203, BDE-206, BDE-207, BDE-208 and BDE-209 were quantified in these three groups by gas chromatography-negative chemical ionization (NCI) mass spectrometry in selected ion monitoring (SIM) mode. We found that the levels of all PBDE congeners in serum of residents from electronic waste dismantling region were significantly higher than those in the two other groups. The referents showed the lowest PBDE levels. Concentrations of congeners with a high number of bromine substituents, i.e., hepta- to decaBDEs in occupational exposure workers were 11-20 times higher than those in the referent group. BDE-209 was the dominant congener. The highest concentration of BDE-209 was observed among the electronic waste dismantling workers, and it was 3436 ng g(-1) lipid weight (ng g(-1) l.w.), which is the highest concentration of BDE-209 in humans worldwide. Some higher brominated PBDE congeners such as BDE-197, BDE-207 and BDE-208 also showed elevated concentrations in dismantling workers. This study confirms that BDE-209 is released to the environment and can bioaccumulate in the blood of electronic waste dismantling workers, and extensive occupational exposure to PBDEs leads to elevated concentrations of all PBDE congeners in serum.  相似文献

The Pearl River Delta (PRD) is one of the most industrialized, urbanized and populated regions in China, and thus has been long suffering from severe air pollutions. Space data provide a unique perspective for investigating the atmospheric environment at a regional scale. By utilizing multiple satellite retrievals from 2005 to 2013, this study presented, for the first time, the spatial patterns and temporal trends of typical air pollutants over PRD and its vicinity. As viewed from space, aerosol optical depth (AOD), NO2 and SO2 all had their higher values at the central part of PRD, and showed clear descending gradients as moving to the outskirt of this region. As to the inter-annual variation, all these pollutants had decreasing trends in PRD during the study period, which generally agreed with the relevant in situ measurements. However, the satellite retrievals differed from ground measurements when addressing NO2 and SO2 in the vicinity of PRD. This work also provides the inter-comparison among PRD and three other metropolitan clusters in China: PRD had relatively high AOD, moderate NO2 and low SO2 levels, and it was the only region achieving the effective reduction of NO2 and SO2 during last decade. Unlike the previous three pollutants, HCHO observed by satellite showed very special patterns: it had a relatively homogeneous spatial distribution over both of PRD and its vicinity, and presented an opposite increasing trend from 2005 to 2010. Moreover, PRD had the highest HCHO level among all the metropolitan clusters, hinting a considerable contribution of biogenic origins of HCHO in PRD.

依据欧盟委员会的IPPC指令和水框架指令,欧盟成员国目前在制定废水污染物排放限值时,都以最佳可得技术(BAT)为参考,同时运用反演的方法将污染物排放限值与环境质量标准相结合。阐述了欧盟国家制定废水污染物排放限值的“BAT法”和“质量标准反演法”,并举例分析了“质量标准反演法”。提出了我国借鉴欧盟方法的几点建议。  相似文献

Persistent organochlorine compounds, including hexachlorocyclohexanes (HCHs), dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethanes (DDTs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) were analyzed in surface water and sediments from Baiyangdian Lake, North China. Total concentrations of HCHs, DDTs and PCBs in surface water were in the range of 3.13-10.60, 4.05-20.59 and 19.46-131.62 ng/L, respectively, and total concentrations of HCHs, DDTs and PCBs in sediments were 1.75-5.70, 0.91-6.48 and 5.96-29.61 ng/g dry weight, respectively. Among the groups of HCHs (sum of α-HCH, β-HCH, γ-HCH and δ-HCH) and DDTs (sum of DDT, DDD and DDE), the predominance of β-HCH, DDE and DDD in water and sediment samples was clearly observed. This observation suggested that β-HCH was resistant to biodegradation and the DDTs had been transformed to its metabolites, DDE and DDD. For PCBs, penta-, hexa- and hepta-chlorinated congeners were the most abundant compounds in the both phases. Furthermore, the partitioning of chlorinated compounds between sediment and water was investigated to understand their transport and fates in aquatic ecosystems. The results indicated that average logs of organic carbon-normalized sediment-water partition coefficients (logKoc') for OCPs varied between 3.20 and 5.53, and for PCBs, logKoc' values ranged from 3.19 to 5.57. The observed logKoc' was lower than their equilibrium logKoc predicted from linear model, which may be attributed to the solubility enhancement effect of colloidal matter in water phase and the disequilibrium between sediment and water.  相似文献

于2006年5月至7月对广西弄拉兰电堂泉水源林区各类水样的物理化学特征进行了研究。通过收集弄拉兰电堂泉集水区次生乔木林中的大气降雨、穿透雨、树干径流雨和表层岩溶泉水,对其中的化学成分含量和pH值进行了分析测定。结果表明:大气降雨经过森林层后,化学成分的总含量增加了;各种养分元素表现出不同的变化,Cl-和Na 减少,其余各离子以及TC、TIC和TOC都表现出增加,对应于每场降雨后的泉水中各成分的变化不是很显著;穿透雨和树干径流雨的pH值表现为下降,泉水的pH值变化幅度较小。经过次生林后的雨水可促进岩溶作用和表层岩溶带的生物地球化学循环,增加土壤中某些碱性元素的有效态。  相似文献

From both the comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) and the comparative molecular similarity indices analysis (CoMSIA), the paper describes two three-dimensional quantitative structure-activity relationship (3D-QSAR) models for the acute toxicity logEC50 (15 min-EC50 in micromoll(-1)) of 56 phenylsulfonyl carboxylates on Photobacterium phosphoreum. Two models yield the leave-one-out cross-validated correlation coefficient q2 values of 0.823 and 0.713, and the conventional correlation coefficient r2 values of 0.958 and 0.933, respectively. The achievement of higher q2 and r2 values of CoMFA model indicates the significance of correlation of steric and electrostatic fields with biological activities. The key features in the CoMFA contour maps are critical to trace the important properties and gain insight into the toxic mechanism of tested compounds. The quality of CoMSIA model is slightly lower than that of CoMFA in terms of q2 and r2 values. Not requiring molecular superposition, CoMSIA is faster than CoMFA in data processing.  相似文献

考察了温度变化对亚硝化颗粒污泥反应器的长期和短期影响特性,结果表明:在进水ρ(NH4+-N)为(35.8±5.2)mg/L、水力停留时间为2.0 h以及运行温度为7~17℃的条件下,反应器保持着95%的亚硝化率和0.18~0.25 kg/(m3·L)的NH4+-N去除负荷;反应器中较低的ρ(DO)∶ρ(NH4+-N)(<0.25)是实现亚硝酸盐氧化细菌(NOB)有效抑制的关键因素;长期低温运行造成颗粒污泥比NH4+-N氧化速率(SAOR)从(237±14)g/(g·d)下降至(93±11)g/(g·d),但颗粒污泥中氨氧化细菌(AOB)的活化率(实际SAOR与最大SAOR之比)从48%升至约85%。批式实验结果表明,在7.1~28℃的短时温度变化内,亚硝化颗粒污泥NH4+-N氧化反应的温度系数(θ)和活化能(Ea)分别为1.042~1.063,29.7~41.9 kJ/mol,均显著低于同等条件下絮体污泥的数值,表明颗粒污泥AOB比絮体污泥AOB具有更好的抗温度冲击能力。该研究结果可为基于颗粒污泥的高效城市污水亚硝化技术提供参考。  相似文献

In fall–winter, 2007–2013, visibility and light scattering coefficients(b sp) were measured along with PM_(2.5)mass concentrations and chemical compositions at a background site in the Pearl River Delta(PRD) region. The daily average visibility increased significantly(p 0.01) at a rate of 1.1 km/year, yet its median stabilized at ~13 km. No haze days occurred when the 24-hr mean PM_(2.5)mass concentration was below 75 μg/m~3. By multiple linear regression on the chemical budget of particle scattering coefficient(b sp), we obtained site-specific mass scattering efficiency(MSE) values of 6.5 ± 0.2, 2.6 ± 0.3, 2.4 ± 0.7 and 7.3 ± 1.2 m2/g,respectively, for organic matter(OM), ammonium sulfate(AS), ammonium nitrate(AN) and sea salt(SS). The reconstructed light extinction coefficient(b ext) based on the Interagency Monitoring of Protected Visual Environments(IMPROVE) algorithm with our site-specific MSE revealed that OM, AS, AN, SS and light-absorbing carbon(LAC) on average contributed 45.9% ± 1.6%,25.6% ± 1.2%, 12.0% ± 0.7%, 11.2% ± 0.9% and 5.4% ± 0.3% to light extinction, respectively.Averaged b ext displayed a significant reduction rate of 14.1/Mm·year(p 0.05); this rate would be 82% higher if it were not counteracted by increasing relative humidity(RH) and hygroscopic growth factor(f(RH)) at rates of 2.5% and 0.16/year-1(p 0.01), respectively, during the fall–winter, 2007–2013. This growth of RH and f(RH) partly offsets the positive effects of lowered AS in improving visibility, and aggravated the negative effects of increasing AN to impair visibility.  相似文献
