Hydrogels have attracted large attention in wastewater treatment fields due to their low-cost and good interaction with pollutants, among which novel double network hydrogel is an outstanding class. To expand the application of double network hydrogel in water treatment, in this study, eco-friendly physically cross-linked double network polymer hydrogel beads (DAP) are prepared and studied in depth on the mechanism of Methylene Blue (MB) adsorption; and then the polymer hydrogels are further functionalized by inorganic materials. MB adsorption on DAP favors alkaline condition which is due to the increase of electrostatic attraction and adsorption site, and it reaches equilibrium within 10?hr, which is faster than that of the single network hydrogel beads (SAP). Through thermodynamics study, the process shows to be an exothermic and spontaneous process. The adsorption isotherms are well fitted by Langmuir model, with a maximum monolayer adsorption capacity of 1437.48?mg/g, which is larger than SAP (1255.75?mg/g). After being functionalized with common inorganic materials including activated carbon, Fe3O4 and graphene oxide (GO), the composites show to have larger pore sizes and have obvious increases in adsorption capacity especially the one contains GO. Then the composites contains Fe3O4 are used as heterogeneous Fenton catalyst which shows to have excellent performance in MB degradation. The results indicate the potential of polymer double network to be functionalized in environmental areas.  相似文献

The metal-induced lipid peroxidation and response of antioxidative enzymes have been investigated in the marine microalga Pavlova viridis to understand the mechanisms of metal resistance in algal cells. We have analyzed superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPX) activities and glutathione (GSH) contents in microalgal cells grown at different concentrations of copper and zinc. In response to each metal, lipid peroxidation was enhanced with the increase of concentrations, as an indication of the oxidative damage caused by metal concentration assayed in the microalgae cells. Exposure of P. viridis to the two metals caused changes in enzyme activities in a different manner, depending on the metal assayed: after copper treatments, total SOD activity was enhanced, while it was reduced after zinc exposure. Copper and zinc stimulated the activities of CAT and GSH whereas GPX showed a remarkable increase in activity in response to copper treatments and decrease after zinc treatments. These results suggest that an activation of some antioxidant enzymes was enhanced to counteract the oxidative stress induced by the two metals.  相似文献

The goal of this study was to evaluate working postures in 9 operations of poultry farming for broiler chickens for 14 body segments with 4 categories, and for fingers with 14 categories. Overall, the farmers commonly bent almost all their body segments and used power grips. The operations of cleaning with water wand and inspecting chickens seemed light work because the farmers walked around most of their working time. The operations of detaching base from hanging feeder and attaching base to hanging feeder had the farmers continue squatting to handle the feeders close to the floor. The farmers also repeatedly bent their trunks in shoveling feces, unloading a box of chicks, and releasing chicks. A power grip was frequently observed due to using tools with round handles. Workplace design to raise working height would be necessary for a better working environment for broiler farmers.  相似文献

In order to investigate the effect of tea tree rhizosphere soil acidification on yield and quality of tea tree, the pH value, yield, and quality index of fresh tea leaves of different ages were analyzed, and the correlation between rhizosphere soil acidification and ages, yield, and quality index were studied from nine tea plantations in Anxi county, Fujian Province. The results showed that 37.67% of the nine soils were acidified, and 10.03% of them were suitable for planting tea tree. Furthermore, the results indicated that the age of tea tree was significantly and negatively correlated with the soil pH value, as shown by a decrease in soil pH values associated with an increase in tree age. In addition, the yield of spring and fall crops of tea from these nine plantations were all significantly and positively correlated with the pH value, with correlation coefficients distribution values of 0.912-0.952 and 0.898-0.973, respectively. In addition, quality indices, including polyphenols, theanine, and caffeine for the nine tea plantations were all significantly and positively correlated with their soil pH values, and their correlation coefficient distribution values were 0.897-0.959, 0.908-0.974, and 0.907-0.975, respectively. Above all, as tea tree ages increased, rhizosphere soil acidity was significantly increased, and yield and quality of tea presented a statistically significantly up/down trend. © 2018 Science Press.
