采用模拟紫外辐射(UV-B,280~320nm)的盆栽实验法,研究钙离子对紫外B辐射胁迫下小麦幼苗若干生物学特性的影响.结果显示,在紫外辐射胁迫下(0.35W/m2,每日照射6h,连续照射7d),2mmol/L钙离子处理的小麦,地下与地上部生长指标均明显低于对照植株(降幅为8.1%~36.1%).而6mmol/L钙离子处理的小麦幼苗,各种生长指标的降幅(3.2%~28.6%)低于2mmol/L钙离子处理的小麦幼苗.表明钙离子具有缓解紫外辐射伤害小麦幼苗的效应,这同钙离子对小麦幼苗部分生理生化指标的影响有关. 相似文献

Tsunami represents one of the most potentially serious forms of coastal flood risk. Although much is known on the recorded history of tsunamis for given areas of the world, very little information is available on the occurrence of palaeotsunamis during prehistory. This is of fundamental importance in calculating tsunami flood risk for any given coastal area. Given sufficient information on past tsunami activity for a particular coastal area, the numerical calculation of aggregate coastal flood risk (including tsunami) for a coastal area is very difficult to estimate since one needs also to take into account the risk of a tsunami and a storm surge taking place simultaneously during a high tide. Estimates of coastal flood risk also need to consider future changes in relative sea level caused by the combined effects of global climate change and vertical movements of the lithosphere. 相似文献

Height to diameter (H/D) ratio is one of the important parameters affecting premixed particle–air combustion characteristics. This paper focuses on the behavior of cornstarch combustion in closed vessels with changed H/D ratios and fixed volumes; and a combustion model is employed to simulate the experiments. An Eulerian–Lagrangian approach for two-phase flows was used in the model and conservation equations of unsteady turbulent two-phase reacting flows were solved in two-dimensional domains. Heat loss to the vessel walls was taken into consideration in the model. The simulation results have a good agreement with those of experiments. Further simulations were carried out for higher H/D ratios from 8 to 15. These results show that H/D=8 is a changing point. When H/D<8, the maximum pressure and the rate of maximum pressure rise decrease with increasing H/D ratios. While H/D>8, the both have an increasing tendency with increasing H/D ratios. 相似文献

The honey bee is a social insect characterized by caste differentiation, by which a young larva can develop into either a queen or a worker. Despite possessing the same genome, queen and workers display marked differences in reproductive capacity, physiology, and behavior. Recent studies have shown that DNA methylation plays important roles in caste differentiation. To further explore the roles of DNA methylation in this process, we analyzed DNA methylome profiles of both queen larvae (QL) and worker larvae (WL) of different ages (2, 4, and 6 day old), by using methylated DNA immunoprecipitation-sequencing (meDIP-seq) technique. The global DNA methylation levels varied between the larvae of two castes. DNA methylation increased from 2-day- to 4-day-old QL and then decreased in 6-day-old larvae. In WL, methylation levels increased with age. The methylcytosines in both larvae were enriched in introns, followed by coding sequence (CDS) regions, CpG islands, 2 kbp downstream and upstream of genes, and 5′ and 3′ untranslated regions (UTRs). The number of differentially methylated genes (DMGs) in 2-, 4-, and 6-day-old QL and WL was 725, 3,013, and 5,049, respectively. Compared to 4- and 6-day-old WL, a large number of genes in QL were downmethylated, which were involved in many processes including development, reproduction, and metabolic regulation.
