In order to study the influences of coal dust components on the explosibility of hybrid mixture of methane and coal dust, four kinds of coal dust with different components were selected in this study. Using the standard 20 L sphere, the maximum explosion pressure, explosion index and lower explosion limits of methane/coal dust mixtures were measured. The results show that the addition of methane to different kinds of coal dust can all clearly increase their maximum explosion pressure and explosion index and decrease their minimum explosion concentration. However, the increase in the maximum explosion pressure and explosion index is more significant for coal dust with lower volatile content, while the decrease in the minimum explosion concentration is more significant for coal dust with higher volatile content. It is concluded that the influence of methane on the explosion severity is more pronounced for coal dust with lower volatile content, but on ignition sensitivity it is more pronounced for coal dust with higher volatile content. Bartknecht model for predicting the lower explosion limits of methane/coal dust mixture has better applicability than Le Chatelier model and Jiang model. 为了研究大型储罐事故后果的严重性,针对大型储罐火灾爆炸试验难以实施的情况,以虚拟现实技术为研究手段,重现大型储罐火灾和爆炸事故过程;通过对储罐火灾和爆炸事故进行理论分析,优选出大型储罐火灾爆炸事故后果数学模型;基于某商业原油储备库布置,利用3Ds Max软件对库区进行建模,结合Qt界面编写技术和OSG粒子效果技术进行交互式设计,划分火灾和爆炸2大仿真模块,设计各模块下属基本功能,形成1套基于真实场景的大型储罐火灾爆炸事故后果三维仿真模拟软件。研究结果表明:基于VR技术的大型储罐火灾爆炸仿真软件具有较强的沉浸感和交互性等特点,能够实时仿真大型储罐火灾爆炸事故动态演变过程,降低大型储罐火灾爆炸试验成本,同时为制定事故应急预案和应急处置措施提供科学参考。 相似文献

2-(1-Cyano-1-methylethyl)azocarboxamide (CABN) is a representative of new-type azo initiator in the radical polymerization industry. The peculiar water and oil soluble characters make it a versatile rising star for the industry to initiate the polymerization of monomers in either polar or nonpolar solvents based continuous phases. This paper decodes the effect of acylamino and cyan groups on thermal stability and hazards of CABN via advanced thermokinetic analysis and numerical simulation. Initially, simultaneous thermogravimetric analyzer was employed to evaluate the thermal stability of CABN and its two structurally similar azo compounds (azos), azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) and azodicarbonamide (AC). Followed with calorimetric experiments by differential scanning calorimetry, the effect of two functional groups on thermal behavior parameters, such as decomposition temperature, melting point, and heat of decomposition was estimated. The results indicated that the acylamino group can improve the thermal stability of CABN but with bulkier heat release. Ultimately, through the medium of thermokinetic analysis, the thermal hazard of AIBN, CABN, and AC was simulated based on auto-ignition and thermal explosion theory. Oil gas explosion in long-narrow confined space is a typical unsteady combustion process. To study the reaction process, two experiment techniques are adopted in this research. One is planner laser induced fluorescence, which is used to achieve the transient measurement of free radicals in unsteady premixed combustion field. The other one is the spectral testing technique, which is used to measure the luminescence spectrum characteristics of oil gas combustion flame. The distribution of OH radical and CH radical at different positions in the combustion field, the common partition of deflagration flame structure under different oil gas concentrations, and the main luminescence spectra of radicals such as OH, CH, C2, C3, CO2, H2O and HCO are obtained. By comparing the above three aspects, the combustion reaction process of premixed mixture is revealed, driven by the coupling effect of chemical reaction and fluid flow in the process of explosion propagation. The process can be described briefly as follows. In the “outer flame zone”, large hydrocarbon molecules are mainly transformed to small molecules and free radicals by means of pyrolysis, dehydrogenation and oxidation. Reaction kinetics is fundamental for modelling the thermal oxidation of a solid phase, in processes such as dust explosions, combustion or gasification. The methodology followed in this study consists in i) the experimental identification of the reaction mechanisms involved in the explosion of organic powders, ii) the proposal of simplified mechanisms of pyrolysis and oxidation, iii) the implementation of the model to assess the explosion severity of organic dusts. Flash pyrolysis and combustion experiments were carried out on starch (22 μm) and cellulose (53 μm) at temperatures ranging from 973 K to 1173 K. The gases generated were collected and analyzed by gas chromatography. In this paper, a semi-global pyrolysis model was developed for reactive systems with low Damköhler number. It is in good agreement with the experimental data and shows that both carbon monoxide and hydrogen are mainly generated during the pyrolysis of the solid, the generation of the latter compound being greatly promoted at high temperature. A simplified combustion model was also proposed by adding two oxidation reactions of the pyrolysis products. In parallel, flame propagation tests were performed in a semi open tube in order to assess the burning velocity of such compounds. The laminar burning velocity of cellulose was determined to be 21 cm s−1. Finally, this model will be integrated to a predictive model of dust explosions and its validation will be based on experimental data obtained using the 20 L explosion sphere. Thiol and urea functionalized montmorillonite powders were successfully prepared by silane coupling agent treatments in this work. The pyrolysis characteristics, surface functional groups, and distribution of particle size of untreated montmorillonite powders (Mt), the hydroxyl functionalized montmorillonite (O–Mt), the urea functionalized montmorillonite (N–Mt), and the thiol functionalized montmorillonite (S–Mt), which was derived from the previous research, were respectively characterized by utilizing the thermogravimetric differential scanning calorimetry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, as well as the laser particle analyzer. The suppression effect of the S–Mt, O–Mt, Mt, and N–Mt on a 9.5% CH4 explosion was tested in the duct system (5 L). The obtained results indicated that N–Mt and O–Mt exhibited a better explosion suppression effect than Mt and S–Mt at the same mass concentration. Additionally, the methane/air explosion suppression mechanism of these powders could be explained by molecular simulation results that indicated the negatively electrophilic potential regions exist on the surface of O–Mt and N–Mt. Moreover, NH4∙、 NCO∙ and ∙OH radicals, which can interrupt explosive chain reactions, were easily generated by N–Mt and O–Mt. 相似文献
