谈心理健康教育对高职院校学风建设的作用

目前学风建设在高职院校中多采用以学生为主体、以教师为主导和制度辅助等形式.鉴于学生的从众趋向和群体意识、模仿等对学风建设产生的心理机制的影响,大学生自我发展因素又可能产生相反的问题性影响,心理健康教育可以通过促进学生优良品德的形成,提高学生智力活动和身心素质,对高职院校良好学风的建设有促进作用.     

数学课程改革如何适应职业教育发展的要求

职业教育的根本任务就是根据经济和社会发展的要求,培养多层次、多样化的技能型人才.职业教育的改革与发展,是树立和落实科学发展观的必然要求.职业教育的课程改革方向应该以职业能力为着眼点.职业教育中的数学课程应按照新的职业能力的要求进行课程结构和教学模式的改革,进行教学方法手段的创新.     

The foundations of planetary agrarianism. Thomas Berry and Liberty Hyde Bailey

The challenge of pursuing sustainability in agriculture is often viewed as mainly or wholly technical in nature, requiring the reform of farming methods and the development and adoption of alternative technologies. Likewise, the purpose of sustainability is frequently cast in utilitarian terms, as a means of protecting a valuable resource (i.e., soil) and of satisfying market demands for healthy, tasty food. Paul B. Thompson has argued that the embrace of these views by many in the consumer/environmental movement enables easy co-optation by agribusiness. It also reflects a critical weakness in this movement: a lack of commitment to philosophical principles that depart from the utilitarian premises of the industrial model of agriculture. This paper draws on the writings of Thomas Berry and Liberty Hyde Bailey to identify the philosophical principles of what we call planetary agrarianism. From the perspective of planetary agrarianism, the pursuit of sustainability is a broad and challenging moral, educational, and political task. Berry helps us see that it is fundamentally a project of worldview transition, which requires a new cultural narrative that must rival, in form and appeal, the mythic power of the utilitarian industrial vision. Liberty Hyde Bailey, author of The Holy Earth (1915) and a leader in the land-grant education and nature-study movements, took up the project of worldview transition in his life work. While in some ways dated and flawed, Bailey’s writings are a valuable source of guidance for developing and pursuing a viable philosophy of agriculture for the 21st century.     

Environmental Accountability: Who's Kidding Whom?

International declarations and charters have been produced to encourage and support higher education institutions (HEIs) to address their environmental responsibilities. This paper discusses the results of a critical examination of a range of international HEIs that have signed the global environmental Talloires Declaration. It also assesses the Talloires Secretariat (University Leaders for a Sustainable Future, ULSF) and the extent to which this has been a primary stimulus. An international survey was undertaken and the results presented in a discursive format in order to highlight key driving forces, barriers, and opportunities for environmental responsibility in HEIs. Analysis reveals that they occur on two distinct and evolving levels: the macro national framework level and the micro institutional framework level. Survey responses revealed that none of the HEIs have an embedded institutional environmental culture and most did not have all the micro institutional mechanisms in place for an integrated university-wide environmental response. Many of the institutional barriers to environmental responsibility occurred as a result of this lack of strategy. The most significant institutional opportunity cited was enthusiastic individuals, particularly those at senior management or directorate level, and these individuals were found to be a key driving force. Results also showed that environmental reporting along the lines developed by the private sector is a flexible mechanism that can stimulate progress internally and externally and can be cost effectively disseminated via the World Wide Web. Moreover the survey results indicate that ULSF is not currently a primary stimulus for institution wide action.

我国典型城市中小学水环境教育现状与需求解析

本文选择青岛、武汉两城市为代表,对我国典型城市中小学水环境教育现状进行了调查研究,研究结果表明,目前已经在两地已开展的环境教育活动对青少年环境知识水平的提高起到了积极作用.但是,青少年环境保护意识仍需加强,相关知识有待于和实践进一步结合,同时在解决环境问题的技能、思考力和判断力方面仍有很大的空间.因此,构建我国青少年水环境教育体系应进一步注重提高青少年解决环境问题的思考力和环境意识,特别是落实到水环境保护行为的教育需纳入青少年环境教育框架.     

谈环境教育

环境与发展是当今时代的主题,环境教育是保护环境、实施可持续发展这一时代主题的基础和关键。公众的环境保护意识水平的高低,直接关系到我国环境保护事业的成败。而提高公众环境意识,培养公民环境道德,最主要的途径就是有效开展环境教育。本文拟从环境教育的目的出发,阐释环境教育的必要性,并提出环境教育要从环境道德观入手付诸实践,环境道德观教育是环境教育得以开展的首要和必要的有效途径。     

做好企业的环境教育为内蒙古经济又好又快发展服务——内蒙古企业环境保护责任教育行动的实践与探索

本文通过“中国环境意识项目一内蒙古企业环境保护责任教育行动计划”项目在内蒙古的实施,充分证明了在企业开展环境保护的培训,尤其是对企业的负责人进行环境保护责任教育,培育他们形成正确的环境价值观和发展观,最终实现提高企业领导的环境保护意识以及参与环境保护能力是非常有必要的,为内蒙古经济社会又好又快发展起到了积极的推动作用。     

Teaching industrial ecology and environmental management in Second Life

Second Life is a virtual, open-access, and user-generated environment that has served as a platform for hosting everything from rock concerts to scientific conferences. Many institutions have also used Second Life as an educational tool, for example by, showcasing scientific exhibits or embedding video and images for learning purposes. Here we discuss the creation and use of an interactive, virtual industrial facility - the Elihu Paper Company - as a way to complement a traditional facility tours in a course in industrial environmental management. Virtual facilities offer a number of educational advantages over real-life ones: they are always open and available for tours, they can be accessed instantaneously from anywhere where there is an adequate internet connection, and most importantly, tours and embedded information can be tailored to specific educational objectives. Our experience in using Elihu Paper as a formal facility visit for the past several years shows that students had significantly more time than usual to ask questions, could and did explore the facility independently, and were still able to produce facility reports that fulfilled the educational objectives of the visits, including mapping material flows and explaining pollution prevention and sustainability opportunities.     

安全工程专业课教学中的创新教育与素质教育

基于创新教育与素质教育的视角,客观地分析当前我国大学生素质教育的背景与面临形势;阐述安全工程本科专业大学生人才的素质结构和培养目标;同时,结合中国劳动关系学院(CIIR)的具体情况,针对学院在安全工程专业课教学中遇到的实际问题,提出了提升安全工程专业课教学中大学生创新能力与素质培养的基本对策。该对策包括:切实开展教学改革,增强教学效果;课内教学与课外实践相结合;专业课教学中要广泛运用现代教育技术;利用课堂开展教书育人活动;"以人为本",突出课堂教学的互动性;在课堂教学中要综合运用各种教学法。
