重大事故不仅对当事人造成伤害,对其家庭、国家及社会都要蒙受相当大的损失。故选用合理、有效的系统安全分析方法,对事故致因进行调查分析在事故处理过程中具有关键作用。笔者介绍一种系统安全分析方法,称为危险与可操作分析(HazardandOperabilityStudy,简称HAZOP),该法在其他先进国家已采用多年,但在国内却很少使用。应用HAZOP法对某化工厂失控反应事故进行系统安全分析,研究的侧重点是工艺过程和操作步骤的各种具体数值,它的基本过程就是以引导词为引导,对过程中工艺状态的变化(偏差)加以确定,找出装置及过程中存在的危害。引导词的主要目的之一是能够使所有相关偏差的工艺参数得到评价。HAZOP分析法具有系统性、结构性、创造性和前瞻性的优点,在系统安全分析中具有特别优势,值得推广应用。  相似文献

Soils enriched with heavy metals from vehicular emission present a significant exposure route of heavy metals to individuals using unpaved roads. This study assessed the extent of Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn contamination of soils along unpaved roads in Cameroon, and the health risks presented by incidental ingestion and dermal contact with the soils using metal contamination factor (CF) pollution load index, hazard quotients (HQ) and chronic hazard index (CHI). CF values obtained (0.9–12.2) indicate moderate to high contamination levels. HQ values for Cr, Cd and Pb exceeded the reference doses. Moderate health hazard exists for road users in the areas with intense anthropogenic activities and high average daily traffic (ADT) volume according to CHI values (1–4) obtained. The economy and quality of life in cities with unpaved roads could be threatened by health challenges resulting from long-term exposure to heavy metal derived from high ADT volumes.  相似文献

我们对一种商业表面活性剂混合物(多种聚氧乙烯牛脂胺)MON 0818进行了一系列毒性测试:1. 测定底栖无脊椎动物和鱼类在沉积物存在的情况下受到的毒性;2.测定大型蚤(Daphnia magna)和4种初级生产者经过24 h的脉冲暴露之后的恢复能力;3.鉴定水体温度上升对于2种冷水鱼类所受到MON 0818毒性的潜在影响。在沉积物存在的情况下,5种生物中有3种在最高10 mg/L的浓度下短期(24 h)死亡率为零。其余2种物种的中位有效浓度则显著高于仅对水体进行测试的结果。15 ℃下北极红点鲑(Salvelinus alpinus)的半数有效浓度统计上低于10 ℃下。绿藻(Rhabdocelis subcapitata)和普通小球藻(Chlorella vulgaris)在经过24 h 1 mg/L的暴露后的恢复期中显示出生长延迟的状况,表明该暴露可能存在潜在影响。尽管如此,2个物种的最大绝对生长速率并未改变,表明其均可恢复。1.5 mg/L下的蝾螈共生藻(Oophila sp.)和100 mg/L下的浮萍(Lemna minor)经过24 h的暴露并未显示显著反应。24 h 5 mg/L暴露之后的恢复期中,大型蚤显示出潜在的死亡率。然而存活个体的生殖终端指标并未受到影响。结果表明在沉积物的存在下MON 0818的快速损耗可以减轻对于被暴露生物的效果,在不小于环境中可能出现的MON 0818浓度情况下,24 h暴露以后的生物的完全恢复是可能的。

IntroductionUnderstanding the shortcomings of child-pedestrians in evaluating traffic situations may contribute to producing intervention techniques that may increase their awareness to potential hazards as well as inform and inspire designers of autonomous vehicle and infrastructure systems to deal with the complications of crossing pedestrians. Method: The present work examined pedestrians’ hazard-perception (HP) skills in complex traffic scenes. Two experiments explored how pedestrians’ HP abilities vary with age and experience. In the first, adults and youngsters (7–13-year-olds) were presented with pairs of photographs displaying traffic situations and instructed to compare between the hazard levels of the two. Findings revealed a marked trend where experienced-adults tended to rate photographs depicting field of view partially obscured by parked vehicles as more hazardous. Moreover, adults tended to rate photographs depicting vehicles closer to the crossing site as more hazardous. Lastly, adults tended to rate photographs depicting complex configurations like traffic circles, as more hazardous than T-junctions. Results: Findings suggested that youngsters may be highly influenced by cueing. Next, pedestrians’ HP was tested using a crossing decision task. Participants observed traffic scenes presented in a dynamic simulated environment of an urban road from a pedestrian’s perspective and pressed a response button whenever they assumed it was safe to cross. Compared to experienced-adults and 7–8-year-olds, 9–13-year-olds presented a less decisive performance. Compared to previous findings regarding simpler road crossing configurations, most participants, regardless of age, related more to the approaching vehicles and presence of a pedestrian crossing while refraining from addressing the road configuration. In recent years, the global demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG) as an energy source is increasing at a very fast rate. In order to meet this demand, a large number of facilities such as platforms, FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading), FSRU (floating storage and regasification unit) and LNG ships and terminals are required for the storage, processing and transportation of LNG. Failure of any of these facilities may expose the market, companies, personnel and the environment to hazards, hence making the application of risk analysis to the LNG sector a very topical issue throughout the world. To assess the risk of accidents associated with LNG facilities and carriers, various risk analysis approaches have been employed to identify the potential hazards, calculate the probability of accidents, as well as assessing the severity of consequences. Nonetheless, literature on classification of the risk analysis models applied to LNG facilities is very limited. Therefore, to reveal the holistic issues and future perspectives on risk analysis of LNG facilities, a systematic review of the current state-of-the-art research on LNG risk analysis is necessary. The aim of this paper is to review and categorize the published literature about the problems associated with risk analysis of LNG facilities, so as to improve the understanding of stakeholders (researchers, regulators, and practitioners). To achieve this aim, scholarly articles on LNG risk analysis are identified, reviewed, and then categorized according to risk assessment methods (qualitative, semi-qualitative or quantitative; deterministic or probabilistic; conventional or dynamic), tools (ETA, FTA, FMEA/FMECA, Bayesian network), output/strategy (RBI, RBM, RBIM, facility siting, etc.), data sources (OREDA handbook, published literature, UK HSE databases, regulatory agencies' reports, industry datasets, and experts’ consultations), applications (LNG carriers and LNG fuelled ships, LNG terminals and stations, LNG offshore floating units, LNG plants), etc. Our study will not only be useful to researchers engaged in these areas but will also assist regulators, policy makers, and operators of LNG facilities to find the risk analysis models that fit their specific requirements.  相似文献

A congeneric set of 58 substituted anilines and phenols was tested using the 72-h algal growth inhibition assay with Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata and 15-min Vibrio fischeri luminescence inhibition assay. The set contained molecules substituted with one, two or three groups chosen from -chloro, -methyl or -ethyl. For 48 compounds there was no REACH-compatible algal toxicity data available before. The experimentally obtained EC50 values (mg L−1) for algae ranged from 1.43 (3,4,5-trichloroaniline) to 197 (phenol) and for V. fischeri from 0.37 (2,3,5-trichlorophenol) to 491 (aniline). Only five of the tested 58 chemicals showed inhibitory effect to algae at concentrations >100 mg L−1, i.e. could be classified as “not harmful”, 32 chemicals as “harmful” (10-100 mg L−1) and 21 as “toxic” (1-10 mg L−1). The occupied para-position tended to increase toxicity whereas most of the ortho-substituted congeners were the least toxic. As a rule, the higher the number of substituents the higher the hydrophobicity and toxicity. However, in case of both assays, the compounds of similar hydrophobicity showed up to 30-fold different toxicities. There were also assay/organism dependent tendencies: phenols were more toxic than anilines in the V. fischeri assay but not in the algal test. The comparison of the experimental toxicity data to the data available from the literature as well as to QSAR predictions showed that toxicity of phenols to algae can be modeled based on hydrophobicity, whereas the toxicity of anilines to algae as well as toxicity of both anilines and phenols to V. fischeri depended on other characteristics in addition to logKow.  相似文献
