This paper discusses processes and factors for estimating time period windows of in situ burning of spilled oil at sea. Time-periods of in situ burning of Alaska North Slope (ANS) crude oil are estimated using available data. Three crucial steps are identified. The First Step is to determine the time it takes for the evaporative loss to reach the known or established limitation for evaporation and compare this time-period with estimated time of ignition at the ambient wind and sea temperatures. The Second Step is to determine the water up-take of the spilled oil and compare it with the known or established limitation for water-in-oil content. The Third Step is to determine the necessary heat load from the igniter to bring the surface temperature of the spilled oil to its flash point temperature so that it will burn at the estimated time period for ignition of the slick. 相似文献

目的 研究武器装备在温度环境试验过程中温度的测量方法和温度平衡稳定的时间。方法 利用直接测量方法对3种典型装备进行温度响应时间测量和分析,找出不同类型装备的传热规律,明确其温度环境试验的作用机理,确定装备的温度平衡时间。结果 通过多项试验测试的数据分析了武器装备温度试验应力的选取,在低温和高温工作试验时,整体温度平衡所需时间应适当延长8~10h,高温贮存时间偏短,应适当延长4~6h。结论 在武器装备温度环境试验中,应根据自身性能特点获得装备的真实温度相应特性,在条件允许的情况下,尽可能地敞开武器装备的密闭空间,加快热交换,以缩短达到温度平衡的时间。对于关键及敏感部件,应实时进行温度响应测量,保证试验量级选取的科学合理,为装备环境分析及试验方案的制定提供参考依据。 相似文献

以安徽沿江为实证,采用加权平均旅行时间指标,分析了高速公路网构建对节点区内联系及区外联系可达性格局的影响,并以此为基础,综合分析了节点总体可达性格局的变动;随后对总体可达性的变动幅度及其相对可达性变动格局进行了探讨。结果表明:安徽沿江高速公路网络的构建显著提高了区域整体可达性,且促进了可达性的均衡化;区内联系可达性、区外联系可达性及总体可达性三者格局特征不同,路网构建所形成的影响也各有差别;东部及北部地区可达性变动幅度小于西南部地区;根据可达性系数的变化幅度及方向,可将节点归为相对可达性下降、相对可达性稳定及相对可达性上升3类。 相似文献

Seventeen sediment cores were collected from different coastalecosystems of Tamil Nadu, India that include coastal lagoon (Pulicat), polluted rivers in Chennai (Adyar and Cooum), Coral reef (Gulf of Mannar) and a perennial river (Tamiraparani).Radiometric dating has been used to determine the modern sedimentation rates in these ecosystems. The Pulicat Lake and thepolluted rivers (Adyar and Cooum) yield an average sediment accumulation rate of 12.34 and 7.85 mm yr-1, respectively. Inthe Gulf of Mannar coral reef, the sedimentation rate averages 17.37 mm yr-1, while the rate in Tamiraparani River is 11.00 mm yr-1. In the Tamiraparani River basin, the deposition rates were an order of magnitude higher when compared to the erosion rates, which may be due to bank erosion and the intense human activity. In general high rates of sedimentation observed in the coastal ecosystems not only reflect the capacity of the coastal regions as sinks for trace metals but also denoteincreased input of pollutants into the coastal environments in the recent past. The deposition rates of heavy metals – Fe, Mn,Zn, Cu, Cr and Ni in the depth profiles have been computed using sedimentation rates and their distribution is discussed. It can be seen that the mean deposition rates of all the measured elements in the Tamil Nadu coastal ecosystems are high compared with rates determined for the sediments of the deltaic regions ofIndia and the Bay of Bengal. 相似文献

This paper expands on air travel accident research by examining the relationship between air travel accidents and airline traffic or volume in the period from 1927–2006. The theoretical model is based on a representative airline company that aims to maximise its profits, and it utilises a fractional integration approach in order to determine whether there is a persistent pattern over time with respect to air accidents and air traffic. Furthermore, the paper analyses how airline accidents are related to traffic using a fractional cointegration approach. It finds that airline accidents are persistent and that a (non‐stationary) fractional cointegration relationship exists between total airline accidents and airline passengers, airline miles and airline revenues, with shocks that affect the long‐run equilibrium disappearing in the very long term. Moreover, this relation is negative, which might be due to the fact that air travel is becoming safer and there is greater competition in the airline industry. 为防止木材加工中木质粉尘燃爆事故的发生,以纤维板生产中常见的原材料速生杨木粉尘作为研究对象,在分析粉尘粒径分布、元素分析、工业分析及形貌特征的基础上,采用1.2 L哈特曼管对3种不同粒径(0~50,>50~96,>96~180 μm)速生杨木粉尘进行最小点火能实验,探究点火延迟时间、喷粉压力、质量浓度和粒径分布对速生杨木粉尘最小点火能的影响及变化规律。研究结果表明:在质量浓度为500 g/m3时,分别增加点火延迟时间和喷粉压力,最小点火能都先减小后增大;最佳点火延迟时间和最佳喷粉压力分别为120 ms和120 kPa;粒径对最佳点火延迟时间和最佳喷粉压力无显著影响。在点火延迟和喷粉压力分别为120 ms和120 kPa条件下,最小点火能随质量浓度的增加先减小后增大。粉尘粒径与最小点火能呈正相关性,3种样品的最小点火能分别为1~3,1~3和7~13 mJ,对应的敏感质量浓度分别为500 ,750和1 250 g/m3,属于特别着火敏感性粉尘。 相似文献
