This study focused on a multi-indicator assessment methodology for governmental environmental auditing of water protection programs. The environmental status of Wuli Lake in China was assessed using the global indicators (driver-status-response) developed by the Commission on Sustainable Development, and four additional indicators proposed by the author: water quality, pollution load, aquatic ecosystem status, and lake sediment deposition. Various hydrological, chemical, biological and environmental parameters were used to estimate the values of the indicators for assessment of environmental status of the lake based on time series data sets for twenty years. The indicators proposed can be customized to meeting the needs for particular assessment of water protection programs. This method can be used to evaluate the performance of national environmental protection programs and provide technical support for environmental auditors.  相似文献

Alga-lysing bacteria have been paid much attention to in recent years. In this study, the alga-lysing strain P05 which was isolated from an immobilizing biosystem was immobilized by coke and elastic filler, forming two biological reactors. The removal efficiencies of algae, NH3-N and organic matter using the two reactors were studied. The results showed that strain P05 was an ideal algal-lysing bacteria strain because it was easy to be immobilized by coke and elastic filler which are of cheap, low biodegradability and the simple immobilization procedure. After 7 d filming, the biological film could be formed and the reactors were used to treat the eutrophic water. These two reactors were of stability and high effect with low cost and easy operation. The optimal hydraulic retention time (HRT) of each reactor was 4 h. The algae removal rates were 80.38% and 82.1% (in term of Chl-a) of coke reactor and filler reactor, respectively. And that of NH3-N were 52.3% and 52.7%. The removal rates of CODMn were 39.03% and 39.64%. The strain P05 was identified as Bacillus sp. by PCR amplification of the 16S rRNA gene, BLAST analysis, and comparison with sequences in the GenBank nucleotide database.  相似文献

We studied the responses of soil fauna to a simulated nitrogen deposition in nursery experimental plots in Subtropical China. Dissolved NH4NO3 was applied to the soil by spraying twice per month for 16 months, starting January 2003 with treatments of 0, 5, 10, 15 and 30 gN/(m2·a). Soil fauna was sampled after 6, 9, 13 and 16 months of treatment in three soil depths (0-5 cm, 5-10 cm, 10-15 cm). Soil available N increased in correspondence with the increasing N treatment, whereas soil pH decreased. Bacterial and fungal densities were elevated by the N treatment. Soil fauna increased in the lower nitrogen treatments but decreased in the higher N treatments, which might indicate that there was a threshold around 10 gN/(m2·a) for the stimulating effects of N addition. The N effects were dependent on the soil depth and sampling time. The data also suggested that the effects of the different N treatments were related to the level of N saturation, especially the concentration of NO3- in the soil.  相似文献

A method based on cloud point extraction was developed to determine phthalate esters including di-ethyl-phthalate (DEP), di- (2-ethylhexyl)-phthalate (DEHP) and di-cyclohexyl-phthalate (DCP) in environmental water samples using high-performance liquid chromatography separation and ultraviolet detection (HPLC-UV). The non-ionic surfactant Triton X-114 was chosen as extraction solvent. The parameters affecting extraction efficiency, such as concentrations of Triton X-114 and Na2SO4, equilibration temperature, equilibration time and centrifugation time were evaluated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the method can achieve preconcentration factors of 35, 88, 111 and detection of limits of 2.0, 3.8, 1.0 ng/ml for DEP, DEHP and DCP in 10-ml water sample, respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of trace amount of phathalate esters in effluent water of the wastewater treatment plant and the lixivium of plastic fragments.  相似文献

Furfural is an important inhibitor in ethanol fermentation process using lignocellulosic hydrolysates as raw materials.In order to find out the fuffural concentration range in which furfural inhibits the fermentation process,we used one strain Saccharomyces kluyveri selected from soil and cultured in several different furfural content media under low glucose concentration condition.Experiment results showed that microorganism growth was stimulated and dry cell weight decreased when furfural concentration in the medium was 0.25 mg/ml.Furfural had negative effect on cell growth when its concentration was above 1.00 mg/ml.At the same time,the strain growed better and had a higher glucose consumption rate in 5% original glucose concentration condition than in 3% original glucose concentration condition.The results showed that appropriate exaltation of original glucose concentration in stalk hydrolysates will increase the strain resistance to furfural.  相似文献

Over the past ∼5 decades, the distribution of 222Rn and its progenies (mainly 210Pb, 210Bi and 210Po) have provided a wealth of information as tracers to quantify several atmospheric processes that include: i) source tracking and transport time scales of air masses; ii) the stability and vertical movement of air masses iii) removal rate constants and residence times of aerosols; iv) chemical behavior of analog species; and v) washout ratios and deposition velocities of aerosols. Most of these applications require that the sources and sink terms of these nuclides are well characterized.Utility of 210Pb, 210Bi and 210Po as atmospheric tracers requires that data on the 222Rn emanation rates is well documented. Due to low concentrations of 226Ra in surface waters, the 222Rn emanation rates from the continent is about two orders of magnitude higher than that of the ocean. This has led to distinctly higher 210Pb concentrations in continental air masses compared to oceanic air masses. The highly varying concentrations of 210Pb in air as well the depositional fluxes have yielded insight on the sources and transit times of aerosols. In an ideal enclosed air mass (closed system with respect to these nuclides), the residence times of aerosols obtained from the activity ratios of 210Pb/222Rn, 210Bi/210Pb, and 210Po/210Pb are expected to agree with each other, but a large number of studies have indicated discordance between the residence times obtained from these three pairs. Recent results from the distribution of these nuclides in size-fractionated aerosols appear to yield consistent residence time in smaller-size aerosols, possibly suggesting that larger size aerosols are derived from resuspended dust. The residence times calculated from the 210Pb/222Rn, 210Bi/210Pb, and 210Po/210Pb activity ratios published from 1970’s are compared to those data obtained in size-fractionated aerosols in this decade and possible reasons for the discordance is discussed with some key recommendations for future studies.The existing global atmospheric inventory data of 210Pb is re-evaluated and a ‘global curve’ for the depositional fluxes of 210Pb is established. A current global budget for atmospheric 210Po and 210Pb is also established. The relative importance of dry fallout of 210Po and 210Pb at different latitudes is evaluated. The global values for the deposition velocities of aerosols using 210Po and 210Pb are synthesized.  相似文献

SBR法能灵活地根据所处理废水浓度的不断变化,改变其反应时间,深圳下坪渗滤液处理厂试运行进行了以DO作为SBR法反应时间控制参数的研究,结果表明:污泥浓度在2.5-3g/L。进水COD在0.8-1.1g/L时,进行曝气都会在反应开始后几小时内出现所谓“平衡DO”现象,随着硝化进程的结束,CO浓度迅速地大幅度升高,用DO作为SBR反应器在线控制是可靠的。  相似文献

采用强化生物除磷系统(A~2/O-MBBR)联合工艺,在不同污泥龄(SRT)(20 d、15 d、10 d、6 d、3 d)的条件下,考察A~2/O系统各区聚磷菌生化代谢特性的变化。结果表明,A~2/O-MBBR联合工艺采用双泥系统,分相培养了硝化菌和聚磷菌,该系统的微环境有利于自养型硝化菌的生长和积累,硝化反应已不是A~2/O-MBBR联合工艺运行的限制因素,SRT缩短对系统中总氮(TN)、化学需氧量(COD)去除效果影响不大,可溶性正磷酸盐(SOP)去除率随SRT缩短而逐步上升,SRT为3 d时去除率最大为94%。聚-β-羟基丁酸(PHB)是聚磷菌(PAOs)去除污染物所需碳源和能量的中转站,在胞内聚合物与能量转化过程中起重要作用,不同SRT下胞内聚合物的代谢含量与释磷、吸磷含量有密切关系,代谢量越多,释磷、吸磷量越多。SRT为6 d时,厌氧段聚磷菌具有最佳的释磷性能,形成了具有显著释磷作用的菌种。缺氧区胞内聚合物代谢规律与好氧区相似,对于反硝化聚磷菌来说,在SRT为10 d时对PHB的利用率最高,代谢活性最好;而对于传统聚磷菌来说,在SRT为6 d时其代谢性能最佳,且聚磷菌占全菌比例最大。短泥龄条件有利于提高胞内聚合物的单位污泥质量分数、驯化出积累PHB质量分数较高的微生物种群,其中SRT为6 d时各胞内聚合物含量最高,A~2/O-MBBR联合工艺的处理效果最佳。  相似文献

为了提高微细粉尘的除尘效果,将聚丙烯酰胺(PAM)与琥珀酸二辛酯磺酸钠(AOT)等进行复配,并分别测定了粉尘的沉降时间、溶液表面张力及其紫外吸收光谱。结果表明,AOT与PAM复配后,形成了新的物质,可降低溶液表面张力和粉尘沉降时间,从而提高微尘湿润效果。  相似文献
