大气中温室气体浓度增加是人类面临的严峻挑战.土地利用变化已成为仅次于化石能源燃烧的第二大温室气体排放源.本文在界定土地利用变化碳排放作用机制及内涵的基础上,从农用地向非农用地转换、农用地内部土地利用以及非农用地内部土地利用三个方面综述了土地利用变化对碳排放的影响.农用地向非农用地的转换会增加碳排放量.农用地内部土地利用变化方面,农田转换为森林或草地能够使土壤和植被碳储量增加,但是土壤碳汇集速率存在一定的差异;农田、森林和草地管理措施对生态系统碳循环的影响目前还存在争议,但基本观点是合理的管理措施能够减少碳排放置.非农用地内部土地利用变化方面,从能源消耗角度考虑,二产用地向三产用地转换会减少碳排放量.因此合理组织土地利用对帮助我国实现碳减排承诺,发展低碳经济有重要意义.  相似文献

A study designed to analyze two types of information services provided by the Water Resources Scientific Information Center (WRSIC) is described. This study was conducted to assess the monetary value and acceptability to users of the Selected Water Resources Abstracts (SWRA) Journal and the Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) System. Results indicate that both services were well received and provide a useful and valuable service to a variety of users active in the area of water resources.  相似文献

ABSTRACT: Zooplankton colonization was followed for 16 months in Lake Oconee, Georgia, a new pumped storage reservoir. Data were interpreted to identify differences among stations and seasons, as a function of the reservoir's early stage of development and of pumped storage operations. Colonization was rapid, and the zooplankton community was characterized by a high species diversity; approximately 40 rotifer species and 14 cladoceran genera were recorded. Zooplankton density varied along an environmental gradient from riverine to lentic conditions. Rotifer abundance varied from 104-106 individuals/m3, with maxima in the summers Copepod and cladoceran densities ranged from 103 to nearly 105 individuals/m3; maxima for stations other than the dam were observed in the summer and early fall, but high values at the dam station occurred throughout winter 1980. When pumped storage operations began in December 1979, zooplankton densities increased at the dam station. Pumpback decreased the intensity of the environmental gradient from riverine to lentic conditions, and led to a more similar zooplankton community structure throughout the reservoir.  相似文献

Several large agricultural pumps, located in the upper St. Johns River Basin, Florida, and representative of the numerous pumps operating in the basin, were monitored during the spring and summer of 1982. These pumps have rated capacities ranging from 36 to 334 ft3/s and drain various quantities of improved pasture, row crop, and citrus land uses. The combined total pumping capacity of the pumps in this study is approximately equal to the average flow at US 192, near Melbourne (691 cfs). Results indicate high nutrient and suspended solids loading to the river, but the relative magnitude of each parameter varies with pump site and date. The row crop/Mary A pump (267 ft3/s capacity) exhibited the poorest water quality of the sampled pumps and appeared to have the greatest pollutional potential. The average suspended solids loading rate from the Mary A pump was high (37,900 Kg/day). The average total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) discharge concentrations at this pump were also high, with values of 3.96 mg/L and 0.79 mg/L, respectively. As expected, nutrient loading rates reflected discharge rates, to a large degree. Average TN loading rates for the pumping stations varied from 86 to 1935 Kg/day while TP loading ranged from 7 to 390 Kg/day. Nutrients from pumping are contributing factors to the increasing aquatic plant growth and algal blooms in the area. Poor quality discharge water, as well as rapid rises in water level from the cumulative discharges resulting in dead marsh vegetation and accompanying oxygen sags, have been suggested as causative factors for fish kills in the area.  相似文献

The effect of storing samples prior to determination of particulate nitrogen and carbon concentrations were investigated. Freezing of water samples between collection and analysis has a substantial effect on the results obtained. Storage of samples at 5°C also affects the results, although the changes which occurred were generally less than for frozen samples. When the particulates were collected onto a filter immediately after sample collection and stored in that form until analysis only small changes in the results were observed. This suggests that samples for the determination of particulate nitrogen and carbon concentrations should be filtered immediately upon sample collection and the analysis performed as soon as possible.  相似文献

Holling proposed a four-phase conceptual model of ecosystem dynamics that includes exploitation, conservation, and destructive and renewal components to explain the failure of many natural resource management schemes. The model is drawn as a sideways figure-eight i.e. . There are two dimensions in this model, connectivity (abscissa) and the amount of capital stored in the system (ordinate). This conceptual model has been suggested as a guide to thinking about the impact of climate change on biodiversity, but the two dimensions are insufficient and the alignment of the figure-eight model is problematic when compared with actual data. Kay has adjusted the dimensions of the figure-eight model and renamed the abscissa as exergy stored and the ordinate as exergy consumed. We realign the original figure-eight model, labeling the abscissa as carbon stored and the ordinate as nutrients, such that the relative values of both axes are in qualitative agreement with data from four different studies. This new alignment is then shown to fit relatively well with Holling's original labels. This revision of the figure-eight model brings Holling's model into agreement with observations and provides insight into the linkages between biodiversity and climate change.  相似文献

The study was conducted between January and December 2002. The main objective of this study was evaluation of effects of refrigerated storage duration on redistribution of three trace elements (Cd, Cu and Zn) in tissues (exoskeleton, abdominal muscle and hepatopancreas) of a shrimp species (Penaeus semisulcatus). Moreover, the possible roles of metallothionein (a kind of metalloprotein) in redistribution of the elements in tissues of the selected species were assessed. The specimens were sampled from northwestern part of the Persian Gulf. The concentrations of metals in the tissues were measured using Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrophotometer (ICP-OES). Metallothionein levels were determined by Differential Pulse Polarography (DPP) method. pH of the muscle samples was also measured in different stages. Different statistical methods were used for interpretation of the results. There were no size-dependent differences in metal contents of the species. The results were compared with specimens from other areas of the world and existing guidelines and limits. Concentrations of the metals in the muscle (0.103, 3.418 and 8.977 µg g–1 wet weight in the case of Cd, Cu and Zn, respectively) samples were below the most guidelines for human consumption. The results were in general agreement with those obtained by some other researchers. There were highly significant differences between sexes in Zn and Cu contents. Levels of Zn in females were significantly higher than males. The reverse case observed for Cu. The highest mean Cu and Zn concentrations (15.939 and 43.394 µg g–1 wet weight, respectively) were found in hepatopancreas samples, but the highest level of Cd (0.790 µg g–1 wet weight) was observed in exoskeleton. There were significant differences between the fresh and refrigerated samples from accumulation of Cd and Zn in tissues point of view, which can be attributed to the metal binding properties of metallothioneins as well as their degradation during the storage.  相似文献

通过考察好氧颗粒污泥特征、比耗氧速率(SOUR)、处理效果和菌群的变化,探索常温储存实际低碳源废水培养出的好氧颗粒污泥的可行性.试验结果表明,常温清水储存60d后颗粒结构未出现明显解体;污泥浓度由4960mg/L小幅降低至4740mg/L,但沉降性能保持良好(SVI为24.2mL/g);SOUR整体下降较小(16%),尤其是硝化菌的SOUR;污泥菌群在门和属水平上的相对丰度均发生了变化.在恢复运行后,颗粒形态恢复快且良好,粒径在长期运行后明显增大(200~250μm);污泥沉降性能始终保持良好(SVI<20mL/g),SOUR在运行20d后既能恢复;运行11d后COD处理效果完全恢复(平均出水COD为53mg/L),运行5d后NH4+-N处理效果完全恢复(平均出水NH4+-N为0.7mg/L).常温清水储存好氧颗粒污泥不仅操作方便,而且反应器能快速恢复稳定运行,具有显著的实际应用价值.  相似文献
