External gamma radiation levels were measured in the catchment areas of the Sharavathi River and the dose rates in air were found to be in the range 26.0-61.0 nGy h−1. Soil and sediment samples of the riverine environment were analysed for natural radionuclides such as 226Ra, 232Th and 40K using a NaI(Tl) gamma spectrometer. The activity concentration of 210Pb and 210Po in soil and sediment samples was determined by radiochemical separation techniques. Evaluation of the activity concentration of radionuclides with grain size revealed an increase in the activity of 226Ra, 232Th and 40K towards fine grain size. The activity concentrations for all isotopes in all samples were not significantly correlated with pH. However, the activity of 210Po and 210Pb in sediment showed a moderate positive correlation with organic matter content and a good correlation with clay content of sediment.  相似文献

生态退耕前后张家口市耕地变化及影响因素识别   总被引:4,自引:1,他引:3  
耕地变化与相关土地政策密切相关,为揭示生态退耕政策实施前后,耕地变化特征及其影响因素的差异性,该研究以北方农牧交错区——张家口市为例,分析了生态退耕前后(1989—2000年和2000—2015年)耕地变化特征。在此基础上,应用多项Logistic回归模型研究了耕地变化的影响因素。研究结果表明:1)耕地面积由1989年的1 090 031.02 hm2减少到2015年的924 647.32 hm2,持续减少了15.17%,特别是生态退耕后,耕地减少速度加快;但耕地仍然集中分布在张北县、康保县、沽源县。2)生态退耕前后,耕地转出与转入并存。与生态退耕前相比,生态退耕后耕地转换变化总面积增加121 695.72 hm2,其中转出面积增加占88.72%;耕地主要转换去向由草地(17 063.59 hm2)、建设用地(9 007.00 hm2)、林地(8 932.72 hm2)和园地(5 981.19 hm2),变为林地(51 902.41 hm2)、园地(40 311.23 hm2)、草地(32 292.66 hm2)和建设用地(23 152.11 hm2)。3)生态退耕前后,耕地转换变化的影响因素不同。退耕前,海拔和坡度分别是耕地转为园地、林地和转为草地、建设用地的主导因素;退耕后,耕地转化的影响因素多样化,海拔仍是耕地向园地转换的主导影响因素,人均GDP变化和到最近道路距离分别成为耕地转为林地、草地和转为建设用地的首要因素。基本农田保护区和自然保护区对耕地转为园地、林地和草地也起着重要作用。研究结果能为张家口市耕地保护、生态环境保护及经济社会协调发展提供科学依据。  相似文献

This research attempts to model the complexity of planting trees to increase China's CO(2) sequestration potential by using a GIS-based integrated assessment (IA) approach. We use the IA model to assess the impact of China's Grain for Green reforestation and afforestation program on farmer and state incomes as well as CO(2) sequestration in Liping County, Guizhou Province. The IA model consists of five sub-models for carbon sequestration, crop income, timber income, Grain for Green, and carbon credits. It also includes a complementary qualitative module for assessing program impacts by gender and ethnicity. Using four scenarios with various assumptions about types of trees planted, crop incomes by township, CO(2) credit prices, state subsidies, methods for estimating carbon sequestered, and harvesting of trees, we find great variation in the impact of the Grain for Green program on incomes and on carbon sequestered over a 48 year period at both the county and township levels.  相似文献

The effects of porous media grain size distribution on the transport and deposition of polydisperse suspended particles under different flow velocities were investigated. Selected Kaolinite particles(2–30 μm) and Fluorescein(dissolved tracer) were injected in the porous media by step input injection technique. Three sands filled columns were used: Fine sand,Coarse sand, and a third sand(Mixture) obtained by mixing the two last sands in equal weight proportion. The porous media performance on the particle removal was evaluated by analysing particles breakthrough curves, hydro-dispersive parameters determined using the analytical solution of convection–dispersion equation with a first order deposition kinetics, particles deposition profiles, and particle-size distribution of the recovered and the deposited particles. The deposition kinetics and the longitudinal hydrodynamic dispersion coefficients are controlled by the porous media grain size distribution. Mixture sand is more dispersive than Fine and Coarse sands. More the uniformity coefficient of the porous medium is large, higher is the filtration efficiency. At low velocities, porous media capture all sizes of suspended particles injected with larger ones mainly captured at the entrance.A high flow velocity carries the particles deeper into the porous media, producing more gradual changes in the deposition profile. The median diameter of the deposited particles at different depth increases with flow velocity. The large grain size distribution leads to build narrow pores enhancing the deposition of the particles by straining.  相似文献

High resolution remote sensing data facilitate the use of small-scale habitat features such as trees or hedges in the analysis of species-habitat relationships. Such data potentially enable more accurate species-habitat mapping than lower resolution data. Here, for the first time, we systematically investigated this hypothesis by altering the spatial resolution from 1 m up to 1000 m grain size in species-habitat models of 13 bird species. The study area covered the Nidda river catchment in central Germany, a large heterogeneous landscape of 1620 km2. A high resolution habitat map of the area was converted to coarser spatial and thematic resolutions in seven steps. We investigated how model performance responded to grain size, and we compared the differential effects of spatial resolution and thematic resolution on model performance. Explained deviance (D2) of the bird models generally decreased with coarser spatial resolution of the data, although it did not decrease monotonically in all species. On average across all species, model D2 decreased from 41.5 at 1 m grain size to 15.9 at 1000 m grain size. Ten species were best modelled at 1 m, two species at 3 m and one species at 32 m grain size. Model performance degraded continuously with increasing grain size, both in habitat generalist and habitat specialist bird species, and was systematically lower in habitat generalists. The higher model performance observed at finer grain sizes was most likely caused by the combination of three factors: (1) high spatial accuracy of bird records and (2) a more precise location and delineation of habitat features and, (3) to a lesser degree, by more habitat types differentiated in maps of finer resolution. We conclude that higher spatial and thematic resolution data can be essential for deriving accurate predictions on bird distribution patterns from species-habitat models. Especially for bird species that are sensitive to specific land-use types or to small-scaled habitat features, a grain size of 1-3 m seems most promising.  相似文献

Severe soil erosion in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the middle reaches of the Yellow River is a serious environmental problem in western China. In order to control this soil erosion, the national government implemented the Grain for Green Program (GGP) in Sichuan Province (in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River) and Shaanxi Province (in the middle reaches of the Yellow River) in 1999. To evaluate the effects of the GGP on soil erosion, the present study investigated the relationships between annual precipitation and three parameters, annual runoff, sediment concentration, and sediment discharge, for these rivers. As the area covered by the GGP increased, sediment concentration and sediment discharge both decreased, and the correlation with the GGP area was much stronger than the correlation with annual precipitation. Therefore, China's GGP appears to be controlling soil erosion in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the middle reaches of the Yellow River.  相似文献

剧烈的人类活动可快速地改变土地利用/覆被变化(LUCC)格局,并对地表参量和水文要素产生深刻的影响。论文以退耕还林/还草生态工程(Grain for Green Project, GGP)的重点区黄河中游为例,利用5期土地利用数据,定量分析了区域LUCC的过程与趋势,并探讨了GGP对下垫面地表参量及水文要素的影响。结果表明:1)GGP并未显著地改变研究区土地利用空间分布格局,但改变了各土地类型的转换速度和平衡状态。GGP实施前各类型间相互转换频繁,处于动态平衡态势,而 GGP实施后以土地类型单向转换为主,处于不平衡态势,以耕地单向转为林草地为主。2)不同子流域间LUCC存在差异。GGP前汾河流域变化速度较其他区域快,呈准平衡状态;工程实施后的前期,河龙区间与渭河流域的净变化率以及总变化率较快,而后期差异不显著,呈不平衡状态。3)GGP显著地改变了下垫面地表参量和水文要素。GGP的实施使得NDVI、LAI和发射率显著增加,而反照率显著下降,以河龙区间尤为显著;径流系数显著下降,而蒸散发系数显著增加,尤以河龙区间表现显著。  相似文献

明确土地利用类型转变和植被覆盖度变化的范围、幅度和归因是评估生态工程环境效应的前提。然而,在黄土高原塬区县域尺度类似的研究鲜有报道。基于长时间序列NDVI数据和Landsat系列卫星数据,探究了黄土高原洛川县土地利用和植被覆盖度的变化状况。结果表明:退耕还林(草)工程实施以来,洛川县植被覆盖度从0.6(2000年)增至0.9(2020年),耕地面积减少了481.8 km2,其中212.8 km2为坡度<15°的适耕区转为苹果园,耕地改种苹果后植被覆盖度从0.5增至0.8。由于坡耕地还林草的面积在洛川县土地变化总面积中仅占1.5%,远小于其他地类改种苹果的面积(占20.0%),因此,洛川县植被覆盖度的提升主要是政府大力推广苹果树种植的结果。本研究可为黄土高原经济林建设提供基础数据和科学参考。  相似文献

本文通过对4个乡镇8个村,120户农户的调查,取得第一手资料,分析退耕还林对退耕农户利益的影响,针对西部退耕还林经济补偿机制运行中存在的问题进行了初步探讨,并提出了建立和完善西部退耕还林经济补偿机制的建议,从而对进一步调动农户参与生态建设的积极性,巩固还林成果,持续开展退耕还林工程具有重要意义。  相似文献
