Summary Feeding by the homopteranPsylla pyricola on leaves of pear trees induces the production of volatile compounds, such as (E,E)-x79/xxlarge945.gif" alt="agr" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0">-farnesene and methyl-salicylate, as well as the production of polyphenols. The inference on induction is based on GC-MS and HPLC chromatograms from the same samples ofPsylla infested leaves, leaves from the same pear tree beforePsylla infestation and uninfested leaves from other pear trees.Psylla infestation greatly enhanced the production of volatiles ((E,E)-x79/xxlarge945.gif" alt="agr" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0">-farnesene, methyl-salicylate and others) and triggered the production of new polyphenols, characterized by much longer retention times.However, the responses to infestation depend critically on leaf age (defined by leaf distance to apex). With respect to the leaf volatiles it appears that infested, old leaves produce fewer compounds and lower amounts of the volatiles than infested, young leaves. Moreover, there seem to be differences in pattern. Relative to (E,E)-x79/xxlarge945.gif" alt="agr" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0">-farnesene, methyl-salicylate was found in much lower amounts in heavily infested, old leaves. With respect to polyphenols it was found that infested old leaves collected in August have polyphenols with the same retention times, but more or less equal amounts as uninfested young leaves collected in May. This shows thatPsylla infestation causes the induced response mostly in young leaves.The induced leaf volatiles may act as synomones to heteropteran bugs. As shown elsewhere,Anthocoris nemoralis responds significantly to (E,E)-x79/xxlarge945.gif" alt="agr" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0">-farnesene and methyl-salicylate when offered in pure form against clean air in a Y-tube olfactometer. The effect of polyphenols on the performance ofP. pyricola is not yet known. Hence, a role in direct defence is still to be investigated.  相似文献

利用一个硫沉降模式分析了东亚地区SO2和SO42-浓度的空间分布及其特征.不同天气条件下,SO2和SO42-的浓度不同,高层SO2和SO42-的浓度分别为04—10μg/m3和02—05μg/m3;中层为40—100μg/m3和20—60μg/m3;近地层为40—300μg/m3和20—80μg/m3.分析表明,近地面浓度分布受源的影响比较明显,高层的浓度分布与湿清除过程密切相关,其浓度的低值区与降水区和云区有较好的对应.中层浓度分布体现了源、中层气流及湿清除的共同作用.  相似文献

在中国范围内民航运输飞机及所配装的发动机的型号和有关设计工作参数等的基础上,借鉴目前国际上通行的方法,对飞机与发动机的运行过程进行简化和建模,并根据国际民航组织(ICAO)和美国航空航天管理局(NASA)等公布的航空发动机在海平面静态的排放数据,采用国际通用的油流量算法,对1997年中国上空民航飞机的氮氧化物(NOx)排放量进行了估算,并结合国内外有关数据进行了分析和比较.结果表明,中国各城市上空的大气污染程度有很大不同,大部分城市上空的大气目前已处于轻度污染,个别城市上空的大气污染程度已相当于欧美等发达国家1992年初的排放水平,其严重性亟待引起政府部门和有关专家的注意.  相似文献

Bisphenol A (BPA) has received increasing attention due to its long-term industrial application and persistence in environmental pollution. Iron-based carbon catalyst activation of peroxymonosulfate (PMS) shows a good prospect for effective elimination of recalcitrant contaminants in water. Herein, considering the problem about the leaching of iron ions and the optimization of heteroatoms doping, the iron, nitrogen and sulfur co-doped tremella-like carbon catalyst (Fe-NS@C) was rationally designed using very little iron, S-C3N4 and low-cost chitosan (CS) via the impregnation-calcination method. The as-prepared Fe-NS@C exhibited excellent performance for complete removal of BPA (20 mg/L) by activating PMS with the high kinetic constant (1.492 min−1) in 15 min. Besides, the Fe-NS@C/PMS system not only possessed wide pH adaptation and high resistance to environmental interference, but also maintained an excellent degradation efficiency on different pollutants. Impressively, increased S-C3N4 doping amount modulated the contents of different N species in Fe-NS@C, and the catalytic activity of Fe-NS@C-1-x was visibly enhanced with increasing S-C3N4 contents, verifying pyridine N and Fe-Nx as main active sites in the system. Meanwhile, thiophene sulfur (C-S-C) as active sites played an auxiliary role. Furthermore, quenching experiment, EPR analysis and electrochemical test proved that surface-bound radicals (·OH and SO4⋅−) and non-radical pathways worked in the BPA degradation (the former played a dominant role). Finally, possible BPA degradation route were proposed. This work provided a promising way to synthesize the novel Fe, N and S co-doping carbon catalyst for degrading organic pollutants with low metal leaching and high catalytic ability.  相似文献

通过电化学活化和硅烷偶联剂在石英谐振器的金电极表面修饰对氮氧化物(NOx)敏感的金属酞菁化合物,制成压电气体传感器.探讨了不同敏感材料对NOx的响应灵敏度、检出限及载气流速、温度和干扰气体等对传感器的响应和回复特性的影响.结果表明:酞菁铅最敏感;其适宜的载气流速为40 mL/min,温度范围为10~40 ℃;在9.55×10-4~1.91 mg/m3质量浓度范围内,有良好的线性响应关系;用于大气中NOx的测定,有较好的可靠性和准确性.使用寿命约300次.   相似文献

A comparison between numerical simulations and wind tunnel modelling has been performed to examine the variation with streamwise aspect ratio (width/height, W/H) of the mean flow patterns in a street canyon. For this purpose a two-dimensional (2-D) cavity was subjected to a thick turbulent boundary layer flow perpendicular to its principal axis. Five different test cases, W/H = 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1.0 and 2.0, have been studied experimentally with flow measurements taken using pulsed-wire anemometry. The results show that the skimming flow regime, with a large vortex in the canyon, occurred for all the cases investigated. For the cavities with W/H x1370j45176g/xxlarge8804.gif" alt="le" align="MIDDLE" BORDER="0"> 0.7 a weaker secondary circulation developed beneath the main vortex. The narrower the canyon, the smaller the wind speed close to the cavity ground, giving increasingly poor ventilation qualities. The corresponding numerical results were obtained with the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) code CHENSI that uses the standard k-x1370j45176g/xxlarge949.gif" alt="epsi" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0"> model. The intercomparison showed good agreement in terms of the gross features of the mean flow for all the geometries examined, although some detailed differences were observed.  相似文献
