Response of antioxidase in viscera of Pagrosuma major larvae to water soluble fraction of hydrocarbons in No.0 diesel oil

Pagrosomus major larvae were to the water-soluble fraction of hydrocarbon in No.0 diesel oil(corresponding to No.2 fuel oil) at concentration of 0,0.17,1.22 and 8.82mg/L for up to 15 days.Larvae were sampled on days 9 and 15 of the experiment.Supernatants of viscera tissue extractions were assayed for biochemical response in terms of oxidative stress-superoxide dismutase(SOD),activity of selenium-dependant glutathione peroxidase(Se-GPx) and catalase(Ca),and the concentration of reduced glutathione(CSH).On day 9 of exposure ,statistically significant dose-related increases in Se-GPx and SOD activity,and GSH concentration were observed in all cases except for Se-GPx activity under the highest dosage of hydrocarbon.However,on day 15 of exposure, a similar dose-related in all cases except for Se-GPx activity under the highest dosage of hydrocarbon.However,on day 15 of exposure, a similar dose-related response was only observed for Se-GPx activity.GSH concentration decreased and SOD activity showed no statistical difference as compared to controls.However, a significant decrease in compared to day 9 Se-GPx activity and GSH concentration, in contrast to increase SOD activity at day 15 as indicates an accelerated accumulation of H2O2 and potential oxidative damage under long term exposure of larvae to hydrocarbons.No statistical changes were observed in Ca activity throughout the experiment, possibly owing to the high efficiency of Se-GPx.A recovery experiment was performed on indicating that the response of antioxidants measured tending to returm to return to their control levels.These results prove the function of the antioxidant defense system of the larvae to the water-soluble fraction of hydrocarbons in No.0 diesel oil.     

Metabolism of benzo[a]pyrene in peroxynitrite/Fe（Ⅲ） porphyrin system

The peroxynitrite/porphyrin biomimetic system was established to investigate the effects of peroxynitrite on benzo[a]pyrene （B[a]P） metabolism. Three model systems consisting of different iron porphyrins were compared, and the results showed that the peroxynitdte/T（p-Cl）PPFeCl system was the highest catalytic efficiency in the metabolism of B [a]P. We analyzed the B [a]P metabolites produced from this system by RP-HPLC method and firstly identified the formation of nitrobenzo[a]pyrenes which are the special metabolites of B [a]P induced by peroxynitrite.     

“威望号”教训：亡羊补牢犹未晚

“威望号”油轮在西班牙附近海域搁浅直至,泄漏出来的燃料油迄今已污染了350公里的海岸,在严重破坏当地生态环境的同时,也沉重地打击了当地的渔业和水产养殖业,经济损失巨大。     

Acute toxicity of DMAH to Oryzias latipes as modified by some influential factors

As a new insecticide,less information about the aquatic biological toxicity of DMAH [N-(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-N'-methylamidine hydrochloride]is known.Acute 96h static bioassays were conducted with Oryzias latipes to assess the toxicity of DMAH and the influence of environ- mental factors.The results indicated that,at 23℃,the 24h,48h and 96h LC⁵⁰ are 14.6 mg/L,13. 06 mg/L and 12.39 mg/L,respectively,the safe concentration (SC)of DMAH to Oryzias latipes is 1.16-1.32 mg/L.The changes of temperature,pH value and hardness of water will significantly influence the toxicity of DMAH to fish.     

COD与BOD5相关性及其应用探讨

对1999年～2003年浑河(抚顺段)地表水中COD和BOD5进行同步采样监测，通过51组的测定结果表明，两者之间存在十分密切的相关关系，经一元线性回归，得回归方程：y=0．1222 0．1623x。并经相关系数显著性水平检验，表明在99．9％的置信水平下COD和BOD5线性相关非常显著。     

油墨废水处理研究

采用H2SO4、CaO、H2O2、FeSO4·7H2O、紫外光对照对油墨废水进行处理,同时达到降低COD值及脱色效果,并探讨了各因素对结果的影响.     

"威望"号油轮溢油事故及其在国际社会引起的强烈反响

载有7700多吨原油、悬挂巴哈马国旗的“威望”号油轮于2002年11月13日在西班牙海域搁浅，19日断为两截后沉没，近2万吨燃油外泄，文中综述了“威望”号溢油事故的起因，对海洋生态环境造成的危害，油污损害赔偿责任及其在国际社会引起的强烈反响。     

洪湖水体氮、磷营养元素变化规律及富营养化进程研究

洪湖是湖北省最大的湖泊，也是长江中下游大型湖泊之一，为我国重要的淡水水产基地，在繁荣地方经济的同时，洪湖的生态环境也遭到了一定的破坏。文章通过对洪湖水体氮磷含量的采样和实验室分析，总结出从2001年到2003年洪湖氮、磷营养元素含量年际变化的规律，得出洪湖水体总氮的含量呈下降趋势，而总磷的含量逐年增加，磷作为富营养化的限制性因素的作用逐渐减弱，说明洪湖富营养化的进程在加剧，针对这一结果探讨了造成这种状况的原因，并提出了防治对策。
