Interactions between anions and cations are important for understanding the behaviors of chemical pollutants and their potential risks in the environment. Here we prepared soil aggregates of a yellow paddy soil from the Taihu Lake region, and investigated the effects of phosphate (P) pretreatment on adsorption-desorption of Cu2+ of soil aggregates, free iron oxyhydrates-removed soil aggregates, goethite, and kaolinite with batch adsorption method. The results showed that Cu2+ adsorption was reduced on the aggregates pretreated with low concentrations of P, and promoted with high concentrations of P, showing a V-shaped change. Compared with the untreated aggregates, the adsorption capacity of Cu2+ was reduced when P application rates were lower than 260, 220, 130 and 110 mg/kg for coarse, clay, silt and fine sand fractions, respectively. On the contrary, the adsorption capacity of Cu2+ was higher on P-pretreated soil aggregates than on the control ones when P application rates were greater than those values. However, the desorption of Cu2+ was enhanced at low levels of P, but suppressed at high levels of P, displaying an inverted V-shaped change over P adsorption. The Cu2+ adsorption by the aggregate particles with and without P pretreatments was well described by the Freundlich equation. Similar results were obtained on P-pretreated goethite. However, such P effects on Cu2+ adsorption-desorption were not observed on kaolinite and free iron oxyhydrates-removed soil aggregates. The present results indicate that goethite is one of the main soil substances responsible for the P-induced promotion and inhibition of Cu2+ adsorption.  相似文献

纳米颗粒的种间毒性关系尚无明确结论,因此很难判断纳米颗粒对未进行毒性测试的物种的风险如何。本文作者将5种水蚤(Daphnia magna, Daphnia pulex, Daphnia galeata, Ceriodaphnia dubia, Chydorus sphaericus)暴露于4种不同粒径的纳米铜颗粒(CuNPs)和1种亚微米铜颗粒的悬浊液中,考察物种的形态特征与CuNPs急性毒性的关系。结果显示,杆状的CuNPs比球状的CuNPs毒性更低。纳米铜颗粒与溶出铜离子均对CuNPs的毒性有贡献,其中,当新生蚤的体长、体表面积和身体体积更小时,5种悬浊液中颗粒的毒性更大。5种蚤的身体体积与5种CuNPs的毒性显著相关(radj2>0.51, p < 0.001),78-nm CuNPs与蚤身体体积的相关性最好 (radj2?=?0.95, p < 0.001)。这个研究可以为纳米颗粒对有相似外形特征的物种进行毒性种间外推提供线索。

The remediation of metal contamination in estuarine and reduced sediments is another challenge for the electrokinetic process. Problems result from the complex chemical composition of saline reduced sediments. In the experiments described here copper was added into saline reduced sediments to simulate the natural situation. Two constant voltages were applied across the electrokinetic cell to investigate the effect of an increase in potential difference on the electrokinetic process. Acetic acid at pH 6 and 4 was also added to the cathode in separate experiments to enhance copper removal. The results from this study showed that in the unenhanced experiments most of copper remained in the soil and was unaffected by the electrokinetic process. At the end of unenhanced electrokinetic experiments, the copper concentration was found only to be slightly changed in the anode region. Up to 21% of the copper was found precipitated near the anode when the applied voltage was 10V and this increased to 25% when the applied voltage was 7V. In the enhanced electrokinetic experiments up to 98% of copper was removed from section 1 and precipitated again in sections 2 and 3. This indicates that a significant amount copper removal from the saline sediments may be achieved by the enhanced electrokinetic process.  相似文献

Temporal changes in the distribution of exogenous HCB and DDT among different soil organic matter fractions were studied under sterile and non-sterile conditions, different soil water contents, and different concentrations of added Cu(2+). The residence time was 311days. Soil organic matter was fractionated into fulvic acid (FA), humic acid (HA), bound-humic acid (BHA), lipid, and insoluble residue (IR) fractions by a methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) method. Results revealed that there is a mass transfer tendency of DDT and HCB from FA, HA and BHA to IR and lipid fractions with increasing residence time. Microbial activity accelerated the mass transfer, while the addition of Cu(2+) slowed it down. The HCB and DDT transfer rate decreased as the soil moisture increased from 1.9% to 60%, but increased when soil moisture increased further to 90%. A two-compartment first order kinetic model was used to describe the mass transfer from FA, HA and BHA.  相似文献

以氢氧化钠为沉淀剂,依据Triton X-114的浊点现象分离沉淀,沉淀在浓盐酸作用下溶解,用原子吸收光谱法测定样品中痕量铜、铅、镉。通过试验优化测定条件,使该方法在0 mg/L~6.00 mg/L范围内线性良好,3种元素的方法检出限分别为0.028μg/L、0.006μg/L、0.028μg/L。将该方法用于水样、花粉中痕量铜、铅、镉的测定,RSD为2.8%~7.9%,加标回收率为92.0%~106%。  相似文献

Mining of the Butte deposit evolved over 100 years from placer mining starting in 1864 through silver mining to copper mining in the 1900s. Tailings resulting from milling during the period 1876-1924 were typically sluiced into the adjacent Silver Bow Creek (SBC) where they were washed downstream. The most significant flood event in 1908, among others, resulted in emplacement of approximately 2.9 m tons of sediment intermixed with tailings as overbank deposits along SBC between Butte and the Warm Springs Ponds. Apportioning the associated costs was contingent in part on discriminating between ownership of liability for the silver and copper tailings, which together formed the most significant portion of the overbank deposits. Samples were collected of tailings end-members and SBC deposits and their characteristic mineralogy (e.g. galena for silver tailings, and enargite for copper tailings) used to ascertain mixing of the tailings along SBC. This analysis identified Pb as a signature element for silver tailings and Cu for copper tailings. Two-hundred and twenty-four Cu and Pb chemical analyses representing 43 transects through the overbank deposits along SBC allowed calculation of the proportional contribution of the end members for each integrated transect. Accumulating the volumes from each transect resulted in an apportionment of 53% copper and 47% silver tailings in the overbank deposits.  相似文献

应用悬浮液进样火焰原子吸收光谱法,成功地测定了土壤中的铜。在制备土壤样品悬浮液过程中,对悬浮液的酸量、悬浮剂的浓度及土壤样品粒度的影响等均进行了试验。样品在( 105±2 )℃下烘干4h,研磨过200目筛,加入1 5g/L琼脂悬浮剂10mL和适量硝酸,使样品呈0 2mol/L硝酸悬浮液,充分混合振荡,直接上机测定。通过测定国家土壤标准参考物质,表明该法准确可靠。为进一步验证该法的适用性,又测定了实际土壤样品,且与常规法作了对比,表明两种方法的测定结果一致,而悬浮液的制备更为快速简便。  相似文献

主要探讨了预处理过程对铜酞菁废水水质的影响 ,以及两级活性污泥法处理此种废水的可行性。结果表明 :预处理后 ,废水BOD5/CODCr由 0 16升至 0 5 0 ,可生化性大大增强 ;以邻苯二甲酸作为单一污染物 ,根据动力学模型解出的一级反应槽水力停留时间与试验值基本一致 ;使用两级活性污泥法处理铜酞菁废水 ,可使废水中的Cu2 +、NH3 N、CODCr、BOD5等指标均达到一级排放标准  相似文献

The feasibility of copper recovery by induced crystallization in a long period(174 days) was investigated in a seeded fluidized bed reactor(FBR). The process was divided into 3 periods according to different influent conditions, and the period III was separated into III-a and IIIb due to the adjustment of the molar ratio of CO_3~(2-)concentration to copper concentration([CT]/[Cu~(2+)]). The removal efficiency could exceed 95% and the average effluent copper concentration decreased to 3.0 mg/L. The mean particle size of seed grains with copper crystals coating on, raised to 0.36 mm from initial 0.18 mm. During period III-a, the supersaturation exceeded 2.88 × 104, the removal efficiency decreased to 60%–80% and the particle size dropped to 0.30 mm, due to the generation of fines by homogeneous crystallization and seeds breaking. And the morphology of the crystals on the seed grains changed from rod-like to spherical which lead to the particle size decreasing. In period III-b,the supersaturation was modified by adjusting the molar ratio of [CT]/[Cu2+] to 1.2 from 2.The efficiency was back to 95% and the mean particle size grew to 0.36 mm at the end of IIIb, the crystals coating on the seeds turned back to rod-like products of good stability. This study illustrated that the copper salt crystal could keep on growing on the seed grains for over 150 days, the feasibility and controllability of copper recovery by induced crystallization process in FBR were satisfactory, even under the dramatic changes in influent conditions.  相似文献
