Dyes are common pollutants in textile wastewaters, and the treatment of the wastewater has now attracted much attention due to its wide application and low biodegradability. In this study, Fe0/C/Clay ceramics, a kind of novel micro-electrolysis filler, were sintered and employed in a dynamic micro-electrolysis reactor for synthetic Acid Red 73 (AR73) and Reactive Blue 4 (RB4) wastewater treatment. The effects of influent pH, hydraulic retention time (HRT), and aeration on the decoloration efficiencies of AR73 and RB4 were studied. The optimum conditions for wastewater treatment were: AR73, influent pH of 4, HRT of 2 h and aeration; RB4, influent pH of 5, HRT of 6 h and aeration. Under the optimum conditions, decoloration efficiency of AR73 and RB4 wastewater was 96% and 83%, respectively. Results of UV-vis spectrum scanning demonstrated that the chromophores were broken. Continuous running tests showed that improvement of micro-electrolysis system with Fe0/C/Clay ceramics for AR73 and RB4 synthetic wastewater treatment could avoid failure of micro-electrolysis reactor, which indicated great potential for the practical application of the ceramics in the field of actual industrial wastewater treatment. 相似文献
In this study, different concentrations of five food dyes (amaranth, patent blue, carminic acid, indigotine and erythrosine) have been evaluated for genotoxicity in the Somatic Mutation and Recombination Test (SMART) of Drosophila melanogaster. Standard cross was used in the experiment. Larvae including two linked recessive wing hair mutations were chronically fed at different concentrations of the test compounds in standard Drosophila Instant Medium. Feeding ended with pupation of the surviving larvae. Wings of the emerging adult flies were scored for the presence of spots of mutant cells which can result from either somatic mutation or somatic recombination. For the evaluation of genotoxic effects, the frequencies of spots per wing in the treated series were compared to the control group, which was distilled water. The present study shows that carminic acid and indigotine demonstrated negative results while erythrosine demonstrated inconclusive results. In addition 25 mg mL−1 concentration of patent blue and 12.5, 25 and 50 mg mL−1 concentrations of amaranth demonstrated positive results in the SMART. 相似文献

Zusammenfassung
Ein 4π-Flüssigkeits-“Ganzkörper”-Szintillationszähler, bestehend aus 2π-Detektrortanks wurde dazu verwendet, die mögliche Anwendung von Koinzidenzarbeitsweisen zur wirksamen Zählung von Positronenemittern in grossen Proben zu studieren. Zunächst wurde die Hintergrundemp-findlichkeit für die Koinzidenzform untersucht. Man beobachtete, dass ein ansehnlicher Teil des Hintergrundes von Impulsen in der Koinzidenz in beiden Detektortanks herrührte. Die Möglichkeit einer Unterdrückung des Hintergrundes durch Antikoinzidenzzählung wurde erforscht, aber dies stellte sich als unbrauchbar für eine Verbesserung der Zählstatistik zum Zählen gewöhnlicher Gammaemitter heraus. Wenn die Proben jedoch Positronenemitter wie 22Na and 58Co enthalten, so könnte der Hintergrund weitgehend unterdrückt und die Zählstatistik beträchtlich verbessert werden, wenn man Koinzidenzzählverfahren anwendet. Das Verfahren verminderte nicht nur den Hintergrund, sondern es diskriminierte auch gegenüber solchen Monogammaemittern wie 137Cs und 40K. Das Verfahren eignet sich somit zur Messung von Positronenemittern im Menschen, wo 137Cs und 40K als “Störhintergrund” zugegen sind.

Zerovalent iron powder (ZVI or Fe0) and nanoparticulate ZVI (nZVI or nFe0) are proposed as cost-effective materials for the removal of aqueous antibiotics. Results showed complete removal of Amoxicillin (AMX) and Ampicillin (AMP) upon contact with Fe0 and nFe0. Antibiotics removal was attributed to three different mechanisms: (i) a rapid rupture of the β-lactam ring (reduction), (ii) an adsorption of AMX and AMP onto iron corrosion products and (iii) sequestration of AMX and AMP in the matrix of precipitating iron hydroxides (co-precipitation with iron corrosion products). Kinetic studies demonstrated that AMP and AMX (20 mg L−1) undergo first-order decay with half-lives of about 60.3 ± 3.1 and 43.5 ± 2.1 min respectively after contact with ZVI under oxic conditions. In contrast, reactions under anoxic conditions demonstrated better degradation with t1/2 of about 11.5 ± 0.6 and 11.2 ± 0.6 min for AMP and AMX respectively. NaCl additions accelerated Fe0 consumption, shortening the service life of Fe0 treatment systems. 相似文献
Over Pd/Fe bimetallic catalyst, o-nitrochlorobenzene(o-NCB), at a concentration of 20 mg/L in aqueous solutions, is rapidly converted to o-chloroaniline(o-CAN) first, and then quickly dechlorinated to aniline(AN) and Cl^- , without other intermediate reaction products. The aminated and dechlorinated reactions are believed to take place on the surface site of the Pd/Fe. The o-NCB removal efficiency and the next dechlorination rate increase with an increase of bulk loading of palladium and catalysts addition due to the increase of both the surface loading of palladium and the total surface area. These results indicate that reduction, amination and dechlorination of o- NCB by palladium-catalyzed Fe^0 particles, can be designed for remediation of contaminated groundwater. 相似文献
