Summary. During peak calling activity by male oil palm bunch
moths, Tirathaba mundella Walker (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae), their
hairpencils, wings or entire body were extracted in hexane. Gas
chromatographic-electroantennographic detection (GC-EAD) analyses of
hair pencil extracts revealed four compounds that consistently elicited
responses from female antennae. The NMR spectrum of isolated compound 1,
and mass spectra and retention indices of compounds 1–4 suggested that
they were (3S,6S)-2,2,6-trimethyl-6-vinyl-tetrahydro-pyran-3-ol (1),
4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-benzaldehyde (2, vanillin),
6,10,14-trimethyl-2-pentadecanone (3), and
6,10,14-trimethyl-2-pentadecanol (4). Comparative GC and GC-MS analyses
of hair pencils extract and synthetic standards confirmed these
structural assignments. Moreover, comparative chromatography of
synthetic and hairpencil-isolated 1 on a Cyclodex-B column (which
separated the four stereoisomers with baseline resolution) revealed that
male T. mundella produce the SS-stereoisomer (SS-1). In field cage
bioassay experiments in Palembang, Indonesia, synthetic SS-1 and
vanillin in combination, but not singly, attracted female T. mundella.
SS-1 plus vanillin were as effective as male T. mundella in attracting
females. Compounds 3 and 4 did not enhance the blend's attractiveness.

Cement samples were reacted with CO2‐saturated synthetic groundwater, with or without added H2S (1 wt.%), at 50°C and 10 MPa for up to 13 months (CO2 only) or for up to 3.5 months (CO2 + H2S) under static conditions. After the reaction, X‐ray computed tomography (XCT) images revealed that calcium carbonate (CaCO3) precipitation occurred extensively within the fractures in the cement matrix, while micro‐fractures with aperture size <∼50 μm at the cement‐basalt interface were completely sealed by CaCO3 precipitation. Exposure of a fractured cement sample to CO2‐saturated groundwater (50°C and 10 MPa) over a period of 13 months demonstrated progressive healing of cement fractures by CaCO3 precipitation. After reaction with CO2 + H2S‐saturated groundwater, CaCO3 precipitation also occurred within the cement fracture as well as along the cement‐basalt caprock interfaces. X‐ray diffraction analysis showed that major cement carbonation products of the CO2 + H2S‐saturated groundwater were calcite, aragonite, and vaterite, all consistent with cement carbonation by CO2‐saturated groundwater. While pyrite is thermodynamically favored to form, due to the low H2S concentration it was not identified by XRD in this study. The cement alteration rate into neat Portland cement samples by CO2‐saturated groundwater was similar at ∼0.02 mm/d based on XCT images, regardless of the cement‐curing pressure and temperature (P‐T) conditions, or the presence of H2S in the groundwater. The experimental results imply that wellbore cement with micro‐fractures within the cement matrix or along the cement‐caprock interface (<∼200 μm aperture under current experimental conditions) is likely to be healed by CaCO3 precipitation during exposure to CO2‐ or CO2 + H2S‐saturated groundwater. Green electrolytes composed of kappa ‐carrageenan (κ‐Cg), 1‐butyl‐3‐methyl‐1H‐imidazolium chloride ([Bmim]Cl) ionic liquid, and glycerol (Gly) are prepared in aqueous solution using a simple, clean, fast and low‐cost procedure. A flexible membrane incorporating 50% wt [Bmim]Cl and 50% wt Gly with respect to κ‐Cg exhibits the highest ionic conductivity values (8.47 × 10−4/2.45 × 10−3 S cm−1 at 20/66 °C, under anhydrous conditions, and 5.49 × 10−2/0.186 S cm−1 at 30/60 °C, at a relative humidity of 98%). Tests of room temperature air/hydrogen fuel cells incorporating κ‐Cg, κ‐Cg/Gly, and κ‐Cg/Gly/[Bmim]Cl membranes demonstrate that these predominantly protonic conductors electrolytes are particularly well suited for the design and fabrication of eco‐friendly electrochemical devices whose operation does not require the flow of gases and does not lead to water formation. These new materials have excellent application prospects in high performance (flexible) energy storage devices (supercapacitors and batteries) and electrochromic devices. 相似文献

Optimum Nitrogen Use and Reduced Nitrogen Loss for Production of Rice and Wheat in the Yangtse Delta Region 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A long-term field and lysimeter experiment under different amount of fertilizer-N application was conducted to explore the optimal N application rates for a high productive rice–wheat system and less N leaching loss in the Yangtse Delta region. In this region excessive applications of N fertilizer for the rice–wheat production has resulted in reduced N recovery rates and environment pollution. Initial results of the field experiments showed that the optimal N application rate increased with the yield. On the two major paddy soils (Hydromorphic paddy soil and Gleyed paddy soil) of the region, the optimal N application rate was 225–270 kg N hm–2 for rice and 180–225 kg N hm–2 for wheat, separately. This has resulted in the highest number of effective ears and Spikelets per unit area, and hence high yield. Nitrogen leaching in the form of NO
3
–
-N occurs mainly in the wheat-growing season and in the ponding and seedling periods of the paddy field. Its concentration in the leachate increased with the N application rate in the lysimeter experiment. When the application rate reached 225 kg N hm–2, the concentration rose to 5.4–21.3 mgN l–1 in the leachate during the wheat-growing season. About 60% of the leachate samples determined contained NO
3
–
-N beyond the criterion (NO
3
–
-N 10 mg l–1) for N pollution. In the field experiment, when the N application rate was in the range of 270–315 kg hm–2, the NO
3
–
-N concentration in the leachate during the wheat-growing season ranged from 1.9 to 11.0 mg l–1. About 20% of the leachate samples reached close to, and 10% exceeded, the criterion for N pollution. Long-term accumulation of NO
3
–
-N from leaching will no doubt constitute a potential risk of N contamination of the groundwater in the Yangtse Delta Region. 相似文献

Summary. The autumn gum moth, Mnesampela privata
(Guenée) (Lepidoptera: Geometridae), is native to Australia
and can be a pest of plantation eucalypts. Field-collected
and laboratory-reared female autumn gum moths were
dissected to remove glands likely to contain components of
the sex pheromone. Using gas chromatography (GC) and
combined gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS),
three compounds were identified from female extracts,
namely (3Z,6
Z,9
Z)-3,6,9-nonadecatriene, 1-hexadecanol
and 1-octadecanol (confirmed by comparison with synthetic
samples). Nonadecatriene elicited an antennal response in
male autumn gum moth during gas chromatographic
analyses combined with electroantennographic detection
(GC-EAD). In electroantennogram (EAG) recording male
M. privata antennae responded to the nonadecatriene. Nonadecatriene was synthesised via Kolbe electrolysis,
starting with (9Z,12Z,15Z)-octadeca-9,12,15-trienoic acid
(linolenic acid) and propanoic acid or via an alternative
four-step method also starting from linolenic acid. In field
trials (3Z,6Z,9Z)-3,6,9-nonadecatriene proved attractive
to male moths. Thus, we conclude that (3Z,6Z,9Z)-3,6,9-
nonadecatriene is a sex pheromone component of autumn
gum moth. This component has been identified in extracts
from other geometrids in the same subfamily, Ennominae.
However, to our knowledge this is the first example where
(3Z,6Z,9Z)-3,6,9-nonadecatriene has been found in females
and also proved attractive to male moths when presented on its
own. Our results are discussed in relation to other geometrid

通过大量野外调查与遥感数据人机交互式目视解译方法,运用3S技术,解译了日喀则机场周边9县1975年、1990年、2000年和2008年4期遥感数据,分析了风沙化土地的空间分布,以及近34 a风沙化土地的演变趋势。结果表明:2008年日喀则机场周边共有风沙化土地50 053.31 hm2,其中,日喀则市、南木林县、白朗县和仁布县所占比例为51.41%。距离机场40 km内风沙化土地面积为21 338.54 hm2,占沙地总面积的42.63%,主要分布在仁布大桥以西、年楚河与雅鲁藏布江交汇处以东,高寒河谷两岸的南木林县和日喀则市江当乡境内的季节性边滩、江心洲和山坡上。1975-2008年间风沙化土地呈缓慢增长趋势,共增长了13.57%,年均增长率为175.94 hm2/a。以1990-1999年风沙化土地扩展最快, 2000-2008年增长最慢。气温升高、空气相对湿润程度下降是造成风沙化土地进一步扩展、蔓延的主要原因。 相似文献

Canonical correspondence analysis is an important multivariate technique in community ecology. It produces an interesting biplot that summarizes the data matrices involved in the analysis. The method produces two sets of site scores that can be used in a biplot. One set concerns site scores that are weighted averages of the species scores (WA scores), and the other set represents site scores that are linear combinations of the environmental variables (LC scores). We show that the use of both sets of scores in a CCA biplot can be justified. The use of the WA scores leads to the best possible representation of the species data conditional on the representation of the weighted averages. Likewise, the LC scores lead to the best possible representation of the environmental variables, also conditional on the representation of the weighted averages and on the use of a Mahalanobis metric. The eigenvalues obtained in CCA indicate how well the species data are represented when LC scores are used. The quality of representation of the species data when WA scores are used can be computed from the CCA eigenvalues and the variances of the WA scores. Scalar products between WA scores and environmental variable vectors do not form a biplot of the environmental data. Theoretical results are illustrated with Australian data from freshwater ecology.
