The inhibitory effect of CH3F on methanogenesis in mesophilic anaerobic granules was tested at different concentrations (0-10% v/v, in the gas phase) and verified by the stable carbon isotopic signatures of CH4 and CO2. The results showed that the inhibitory effect increased with the initial CH3F concentration up to 5%. The CH3F concentration causing 50% metabolic inhibition was 0.32%. Complete inhibition of acetoclastic methanogenesis with a 91% reduction in total methanogenic activity was achieved when 5% CH3F was initially added to the headspace, which resulted in 870 μM dissolved CH3F in the liquid. It was much higher than that applied in other natural anoxic non-granular systems, indicating that the layered granular structure influenced the inhibitory effect. The obvious increase in hydrogen content indicated that high concentrations of CH3F (?5%) suppressed hydrogenotrophic methanogenesis as well. The stable inhibition lasted for at least 6 d as the CH3F concentration decreased slowly with incubation time. These results suggested that CH3F could be used for investigating methanogenic processes in anaerobic granular systems after the CH3F concentration and incubation time for specific inhibition of acetoclastic methanogenesis were carefully determined. 通过使用复合分子筛对模拟含氟水进行静态吸附实验,研究了复合分子筛对水中氟化物的吸附性能,并分析了吸附过程中温度、pH值和停留时间等因素对分子筛除氟效率的影响。结果表明,用80 g粒径0.9 mm的分子筛处理150 mL浓度为5 mg/L的模拟含氟水,分子筛的除氟效率达到90%以上,而同样条件下天然沸石和改性涂铁沸石的去除率分别为23.35%和80.69%。分子筛的除氟效率随着温度呈现先上升后下降的趋势,50℃时去除效率达到最高,为92.7%;在弱酸性条件下的去除率比碱性条件要高,在pH=4时去除率最大,为91.8%;停留时间初始阶段与去除率保持正相关,在45 min后反应达到平衡。分子筛的吸附速率符合二级动力学方程dqe/dt=k(qe-qt)2,吸附等温线符合Langmuir方程。 相似文献

Our previous study suggested that toxicokinetic parameters of fluoride were significantly changed on the 30th day as compared with 1st day, after repeated oral administration of sodium fluoride alone for 30 days in goats. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether aluminum sulfate has ameliorative effect on the toxicokinetics of fluoride. For this, sodium fluoride (20 mg kg?1 b. wt.) along with aluminum sulfate (150 mg kg?1 b. wt.) was administered in goats for 30 days to investigate its effect on toxicokinetics of fluoride on days 1 and 30. The fluoride levels against time were adequately described by one compartment open model. The peak plasma level of fluoride was observed at 2 h. The toxicokinetics data revealed a nonsignificant decrease in β (elimination rate constant) and C max (the maximum plasma concentration) and increase in t 1/2 K a (absorption half-lives), t 1/2 β (elimination half-lives), area under the plasma (AUC) concentration versus time curve and mean residence time (MRT) was observed for the last dose from their respective first dose values. On the basis of changes in the toxicokinetic parameters, it was concluded that repeated oral administration has cumulative effect on plasma fluoride level and concurrent oral administration of aluminum sulfate has ameliorative action on the toxicokinetics of fluoride in goats. 相似文献

Fluoride contamination in groundwater of central Rajasthan,India and its toxicity in rural habitants
This study was carried out to assess fluoride (Fl) concentration in groundwater in some villages of central Rajasthan, India, where groundwater is the main source of drinking water. Water samples collected from deep aquifer-based hand pumps were analyzed for Fl content. Fluoride in groundwater of 121 habitations of Bhilwara tehsil of Bhilwara district of Rajasthan was determined to examine the potential Fl-induced toxicity in rural locations. Fluoride concentrations in the tehsil ranged from 0.5 to 5.8 mg/l. In the tehsil, 69 villages (57%) were found to have Fl concentration beyond the maximum desirable limit recommended in Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), 10500, 1991. Fifty-eight percent population of these villages was under the threat of fluorosis. One percent population of tehsil living in two villages ingested more than 5 mg/l Fl in each liter of drinking water and at maximal risk for dental and skeletal fluorosis. 142 individuals of these villages were examined for fluorosis. Data indicated that only four individuals (2.82%) did not exhibit dental fluorosis. Most individuals were found to suffer from mild (34.51% or 49 individuals) and moderate (31.69% or 45 individuals) fluorosis. Severe dental fluorosis was recorded in only 16 individuals (11.27%). In 104 individuals above 21 years of age examined for the prevalence of skeletal fluorosis, 66 were positive for skeletal fluorosis with a maximum 36.5% with grade I skeletal fluorosis. Grade II skeletal fluorosis was recorded in 28 individuals (26.9%). Data in this study demonstrate that there is a need to take ameliorative steps in this region to prevent fluorosis. 相似文献

Fluorosis is a serious public health problem in many parts of the world. The generation of reactive oxygen species and lipid peroxidation has been considered to play an important role in the pathogenesis of chronic fluoride toxicity. The present study was undertaken to evaluate the protective effect of Tamarindus indica fruit pulp extract on the collagen content and oxidative stress in liver and kidney of fluoride-exposed rats. The first group served as control. The second group received 200 mg L?1 of sodium fluoride through drinking water. The third and fourth groups received T. indica fruit pulp extract (200 mg kg?1 body weight) alone and along with fluorinated drinking water respectively, daily by gavage for a period of 90 days. At the end of the experiment, blood samples were collected from all groups, and liver and kidney samples were taken concurrently. Levels of malondialdehyde and glutathione and the activities of superoxide dismutase and catalase were evaluated in the liver and kidney of experimental rats. Furthermore, level of hydroxyproline and histological examination of liver and kidney along with serum biochemical parameters were evaluated. In conclusion, fluoride was determined to cause adverse effects in rats, and the supplementation of tamarind to these animals alleviated the adverse effects of fluoride. 相似文献

Normal female rats of Wistar strain (Rattus norvegicus) weighing between 150–200 g were treated with fluoride (Fl) contaminated drinking water (FW, 5.8 ppm), vitamin C (6 mg) and vitamin C (6 mg) + D (6 mg once a week) + calcium (6 mg) for 30 days. Fl water treatment to rats produced reduction in weights of ovaries, uterus, vagina, kidneys, and adrenal glands, circulating levels of estrogen, number of litters, fertility rate, and altered tissue and serum biochemistry compared to control rats. However, cholesterol concentrations of ovaries and adrenals increased significantly. The above altered parameters were restored partially/completely after exogenous feeding with vitamin C and vitamins (C + D) and calcium. The data suggest that Fl-induced adverse effects on reproductive and other organs in female rats, whereas vitamin C, vitamin D and calcium treatment ameliorated Fl toxicity. 在聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)微滤膜表面接枝超支化聚合物聚乙烯亚胺(HPEI),并通过环氧丙醇与氨基的开环反应在PVDF膜表面形成高密度的多羟基结构,实现PVDF膜的亲水改性.实验对膜的表面亲水性、抗粘附性能和抗污染性能进行表征,并采用原子力显微镜(AFM)测量膜与污染物探针之间的粘附力以进一步探究改性膜的抗污染机理.实验结果显示,改性后,PVDF膜的接触角从85°减小至42°,润湿时间从20s缩短至10s,表面亲水性显著提高;在静态吸附实验中,改性膜表面粘附的蛋白质和多糖数量明显减少;在动态污染实验中,改性膜的水通量恢复率(FRR)较高,不可逆通量下降率(IFR)较低,说明其较强的抗污染性能.AFM界面粘附力的测试结果表明污染物探针与改性膜面的粘附力较弱,进一步证实改性膜表面丰富的亲水基团以及超支化结构的位阻效应可以有效改善PVDF膜的抗污染性能. 相似文献

氟元素与人体健康关系比较密切,其含量过高和过低对人体健康都有危害,因而对地下水中氟污染物的研究,意义重大。为此人工配制了含F-为1.00~3.00mg/L、不同Mn2+、Fe2+浓度的原水,并通过已经培养成熟的生物除锰除铁滤池进行过滤。结果表明,进水pH(5.5~7.5)为中性条件下,滤池对氟具有长期稳定的微弱去除效果。在低pH(2.5—3.5)条件下,出水F-浓度在短时间内达到生活饮用水标准。 相似文献
