<Emphasis Type="Bold">Chronodisruption and cancer</Emphasis>   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Research into health effects of chronodisruption (CD), a relevant disturbance of the circadian organization of physiology, endocrinology, metabolism and behaviour, is evolving at a rapid pace. With regard to malignancies, our synthesis of key experiments indicates that CD can play a causal role for cancer growth and tumor progression in animals. Moreover, our meta-analyses of 30 epidemiological studies evince that flight personnel and shift workers exposed to chronodisruption may have increased breast and prostate cancer risks: summary relative risks (RRs) for investigations of flight personnel and of shift workers suggested a 70 and 40% increase in the risk of breast cancer, respectively, and excess relative risks of prostate cancer in nine studies in flight personnel (40%) and in two studies in male shift workers. There was a remarkable indication of homogeneity of results from the individual studies that contribute to the average statistics. However, in view of doubts about whether the differing assessments of CD can really be regarded as valid reflections of the same causative phenomenon and the lack of control of covariates in the majority of studies, it is premature to conclude that the risk observations reflect a real, rather than spurious, association with CD. The challenge for future epidemiological investigations of the biologically plausible links between chronodisruption and human cancers is to conduct studies which appreciate details of transmeridian travelling, of shift work and of covariates for the development of the diseases.  相似文献

研究了不同粒径的大气细颗粒物对人肺癌上皮细胞A549的生物学效应,探讨了大气中细颗粒物粒径与细胞毒性的关系。采集杭州市大气中不同粒径的细颗粒物,制备成不同粒径的颗粒物总悬浮液,将A549细胞暴露于该制备液24 h后,测定细胞活力(MTT法)和培养液上清液中的LDH含量;并选择最佳浓度为后续暴露剂量,测定ROS生成量,评价不同粒径大气细颗粒物对细胞损伤效应。此外,还采用RTPCR测定凋亡基因P50、BAX、BCL-2表达情况。不同粒径的细颗粒物均显著抑制A549细胞活力,LDH显著增多,并存在剂量-效应关系;最佳染毒质量浓度为10μg/m L;ROS的生成量和各个凋亡基因的mRNA表达量均高于对照组。大气中不同粒径的细颗粒物均能对A549细胞产生毒性,并且随粒径增加,颗粒物对细胞的毒性呈降低趋势。  相似文献

Associations between arsenic in drinking water and bladder cancer in an area along the southwest coast of Taiwan have been documented for decades. Several ecologic studies were conducted to assess the dose-response relationships. Some of them used the National Cancer Registry Program to identify cancer cases, and some used death certificates. Whereas the cancer registry collects information on all patients no matter if they died of bladder cancer or not, the case ascertainment might be incomplete due to the fact that reporting of cases is not mandatory. Reporting of death, on the other hand, is strictly enforced by law, but patients who did not die of bladder cancer might not be identified. In order to assess the problems with both approaches, we conducted a study using both case identification mechanisms. A total of 243 townships with measurements of arsenic in drinking water were included in the analysis of cancer registry data, and death certificates were collected from 10 of those townships. In both analyses, the same measurements of arsenic made by the mercuric bromide stain method were adopted. Due to limitation of the method, all levels below 0.04mg L–1 were combined as a single exposure category. The results were very much alike; both approaches detected statistically significant associations between high arsenic levels in drinking water (above 0.64mg L–1) and occurrence of bladder cancer but did not find such associations for arsenic exposures at lower levels.  相似文献

为研究我国乘用车内空气的污染现状,采用二次热解析-毛细管气相色谱/质谱联用及高效液相色谱法,测定了16个品牌的市售新车车内空气中BTEX(苯、甲苯、乙苯和二甲苯)、苯乙烯、甲醛、乙醛和丙烯醛等8种污染物质量浓度,并对其健康风险进行了评估. 结果表明:8种污染物的质量浓度除乙醛外均低于GB/T 27630—2011《乘用车内空气质量评价指南》中的标准限值,ρ(苯)、ρ(甲苯)、ρ(乙苯)、ρ(二甲苯)、ρ(苯乙烯)、ρ(甲醛)、ρ(乙醛)和ρ(丙烯醛)范围分别为3.00~73.00、69.00~798.00、18.00~469.75、46.00~1 296.42、12.00~46.00、19.00~72.00、43.29~323.00和5.20~7.60 μg/m3. 致癌物质苯、甲醛和甲苯的质量浓度最高值分别为GB/T 27630—2011各自标准限值的66.36%、72.00%和72.55%;二甲苯质量浓度点离散程度较小,分布集中,其平均值为GB/T 27630—2011标准限值(1 500 μg/m3)的11.86%;ρ(乙苯)最大值为其标准限值的1/3左右;而ρ(苯乙烯)和ρ(丙烯醛)远低于各自标准限值. ρ(苯)和ρ(甲醛)对驾乘人员的健康均可能造成致癌风险. 对于男性职业司机,苯和甲醛平均浓度的致癌风险分别为US EPA(美国国家环境保护局)规定的致癌风险基准值(1×10-6)的18.86和60.67倍,而二者对女性职业司机的致癌风险仅比男性降低了12.53%;对于男性普通驾乘人员,苯和甲醛平均浓度的致癌风险分别为基准值的2.83和9.10倍,女性略低于男性. 二甲苯平均浓度的非致癌风险是US EPA规定的基准HI(非致癌风险指数,取1)的1.78倍. 研究表明,为降低车内空气中有害物质对车内乘员的健康危害,需要采用环保的内饰材料,改善车内空气质量.   相似文献

Variations of levels, possible source and air mass transmission were investigated for 16 USEPA priority-controlled PAHs in PM2.5 during 2018 Chinese Spring Festival (CSF) in Xiangyang City, central China which is the North-South pollutant airmass transport channel of China. Totally 37 samples were collected. Mass concentrations of Σ16PAHs for the Pre–CSF day (Pre–CSFD), during the CSF day (CSFD) and after the CSF day (Af–CSFD) are 33.78 ± 17.68 ng/m3, 22.98 ± 6.49 ng/m3, and 8.99 ± 4.44 ng/m3, respectively. High resolution samples showed that Σ16PAHs are higher in the morning (06:00–11:00) or afternoon (11:30–16:30), than those in the evening (17:00–22:00) and at night (22:30–05:30), whereas the result is reversed during the CSFD. Fireworks burning can obviously increase the mass concentration of PAHs. Air mass trajectory indicated that Xiangyang is a sink area of pollutants for northwest and southeast, and the sources of the northeast and southwest. The air mass only can be transmitted out through northeast and southwest. It is effective for improvement of air quality in Wuhan and Hunan to control fireworks emission in Henan and local areas. Fireworks burning was an important source for PAHs during CSFD, biomass, coal combustion, and traffic emission were the main sources of PAHs for Pre–CSFD and Af–CSFD periods. The health risk on the CSFD was higher than the acceptable levels, especially during the intensive fireworks burning, the risk value far exceed 1.0 × 10?4, controlling burning fireworks is required.  相似文献

为了评估PM2.5排放导致女性生殖系统癌症的风险以及城乡差异,以卵巢癌为例,分析了中国东部地区2000~2011年期间PM2.5和卵巢癌发病率和死亡率的相关关系,并估算了PM2.5排放导致卵巢癌发病率和死亡率升高的风险.结果表明,城市地区卵巢癌发病率和死亡率显著高于农村,在城市地区,PM2.5与卵巢癌发病率显著相关,PM2.5年平均浓度每上升10μg/m3,城市地区卵巢癌发病率上升的相对风险为9.3%(相对于PM2.5年平均浓度为35μg/m3时),每十万人口升高0.51人.  相似文献

Phenols have been shown to influence the cellular proliferation and function of thyroid in experimental models. However, few human studies have investigated the association between phenol exposure and thyroid cancer, and the underlying mechanisms are also poorly understood. We conducted a case-control study by age- and sex-matching 143 thyroid cancer and 224 controls to investigate the associations between phenol exposures and the risk of thyroid cancer, and further to explore the mediating role of oxidative stress. We found that elevated urinary triclosan (TCS), bisphenol A (BPA) and bisphenol S (BPS) levels were associated with increased risk of thyroid cancer (all P for trends < 0.05), and the adjusted odds ratios (ORs) comparing the extreme exposure groups were 3.52 (95% confidence interval (CI): 2.08, 5.95), 2.06 (95% CI: 1.06, 3.97) and 7.15 (95% CI: 3.12, 16.40), respectively. Positive associations were also observed between urinary TCS, BPA and BPS and three oxidative stress biomarkers measured by 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG), 8-iso-prostaglandin F (8-isoPGF) and 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal-mercapturic acid (HNE-MA), as well as between urinary 8-isoPGF and HNE-MA and the risk of thyroid cancer. Mediation analysis showed that urinary 8-isoPGF mediated 28.95%, 47.06% and 31.08% of the associations between TCS, BPA and BPS exposures and the risk of thyroid cancer, respectively (all P < 0.05). Our results suggest that exposure to TCS, BPA and BPS may be associated with increased risk of thyroid cancer and lipid peroxidation may be an intermediate mechanism. Further studies are warranted to confirm the findings.  相似文献

为了解淮安市淮河两岸农村居民饮用水中ρ〔B[a]P〕(苯并[a]芘浓度)与人群肿瘤发病死亡关系,选择淮安市沿淮河分布的盱眙、金湖、楚州三县(区)14个乡镇28个村,分别在丰、枯水期采集沟塘水、浅层井水、深层井水水样并测定ρ〔B[a]P〕,分析其与当地人群肿瘤发病死亡的关系. 结果表明:在159份水样中,有89.94%的水样检测到B[a]P,ρ〔B[a]P〕平均值为9.77 ng/L(95%CI,7.01~12.54 ng/L),水样超标率为25.78%. 丰水期不同水源超标率有统计学差异(χ2=10.15,P<0.01),其中沟塘水的ρ〔B[a]P〕最高. 虽然三县(区)肿瘤发病、死亡率及各区水样中的ρ〔B[a]P〕平均值有统计学差异,但不论是丰、枯水期,沟塘水、浅层井水和深层井水中的ρ〔B[a]P〕与人群肿瘤发病、死亡率之间却均未在统计学上有相关性. 淮安市淮河流域农村居民饮用水中ρ〔B[a]P〕有一定超标,但尚未证实其与当地肿瘤高发有相关性.   相似文献
