Wetland loss alters the hydrology of wetlandscapes in poorly understood ways. To quantify the effects of wetland loss on subsurface hydrology, a physically based hydrologic model that simulates the timing and pathways of subsurface hydrologic connections was coupled with wetland inventories over a 50‐year period during which substantial wetland loss occurred. The model revealed, based on vertical variations in saturated hydraulic conductivities, wetland loss of different degrees led to a contraction of catchment contributing areas to local surface waters but an expansion of contributing areas to the regional surface water body. This shift in groundwater contributing areas reflected (1) a decrease in baseflow contribution to the local surface water bodies, and (2) an increase in the transit time and length of subsurface hydrologic connections with an associated increase in the magnitude and age of baseflow discharging to the regional surface water body. The model also showed regions with thick permeable aquifers were particularly sensitive to the loss of wetlands. Our ability to predict these changes in hydrology of the watershed provides important support for designing science‐based policies to promote sustainable water resource management. 相似文献

本文根据最新的研究资料,结合野外考察对处于西风区的伊犁黄土的分布、年代和粉尘来源进行了分析总结,并探讨了伊犁盆地黄土堆积的空间差异性。研究结果表明,伊犁黄土主要分布在山前丘陵和高阶地上,这些地貌部位堆积厚度最大,黄土沉积受地形和气候影响明显;已有的剖面年代学研究表明伊犁黄土主要形成于末次冰期,与新疆其它地区黄土开始大范围堆积的时间大体一致,但还可能有比中更新世更老的黄土存在;粒度分布和矿物表面形态特征表明伊犁黄土可能是近源物质与远源粉尘沉积作用叠加的结果,不同地区黄土在堆积过程所受到动力条件可能存在明显的差异;伊犁黄土中粘土组分可能主要来自中亚荒漠和伊犁河中、下游地区,西风带来的粉尘对伊犁盆地不同地区黄土的贡献率不同。 相似文献

Studies on the population structure and dynamics of the stone centipede Monotarsobius curtipes C. Koch in soils of the northern Kola Peninsula have shown that, with respect to abundance and biomass, this species is a dominant of the soil macrofauna and, in particular, of the trophic group of zoophages. Life in high northern latitudes does not disturb the sex and age structure of populations but limits the reproductive activity of these centipedes. Specific biological features of M. curtipes at the northern periphery of its range include the absence of repeated breeding, completion of several developmental (age) stages within a short growing season, and long ontogeny involving several winterings. 相似文献

The concentration, mode of occurrence, and origin of trace elements in the Late Permian coals from the Puan Coalfield, southwestern
Guizhou, China, were examined using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), cold-vapor
atomic absorption spectrometry (CV-AAS), ion-selective electrode method (ISE), sequential chemical extraction procedure (SCEP),
scanning electron microscopy equipped with energy-dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX), and optical microscope. Results show that minerals
in the No. 2 Coal from the Puan Coalfield were mainly made up of epigenetic pyrite of low-temperature hydrothermal fluid origin
and kaolinite of detrital terrigenous origin. Elements including As (36.9 μg/g), Cd (10.2 μg/g), Cr (167.3 μg/g), Cu (365.4 μg/g),
Hg (2.82 μg/g), Mo (92.6 μg/g), Ni (82.6 μg/g), Pb (184.6 μg/g), Se (6.23 μg/g), Zn (242.3 μg/g), and U (132.7 μg/g) are significantly
enriched in the No. 2 Coal from the Puan Coalfield. However, concentrations of trace elements in the other four coals, the
No. 1, No. 8, No. 11, and No. 18 Coals, were close to the usual ranges found for Guizhou of China, China, and USA. Results
of SEM-EDX and SCEP showed that As, Cd, Hg, Mo, Ni, Pb, and Zn occur mainly in veined pyrite, while Cr, Cu, and U distribute
mainly in kaolinite, indicating that the low-temperature hydrothermal fluid and detrital materials of terrigenous origin are

退耕植茶是川西低山丘陵区响应退耕还林工程实施的重要措施之一.为了研究茶园土壤团聚体中腐殖质组分的分布特征,反映植茶对土壤质量的影响,选取不同植茶年限(18、25、33、55 a)的老川茶园为研究对象,以邻近撂荒地为对照(CK),研究植茶对土壤团聚体中富里酸(FA)和胡敏酸(HA)分布的影响.结果表明:①不同植茶年限下,土壤富里酸含量(以质量分数计)在2.97~6.26 g/kg之间,胡敏酸含量在1.24~4.89 g/kg之间;随植茶年限的延长,土壤富里酸、胡敏酸含量先增加后降低,均在植茶25 a时达到最大值.②随着土壤团聚体粒径的减小,富里酸含量逐渐降低,胡敏酸则表现为≥5 mm粒径团聚体高于其他粒径.③土壤胡富比(HA/FA)在0.30~0.88之间,总体表现为≥5 mm和 < 0.25 mm粒径团聚体腐殖化程度较高,植茶25 a时大团聚体数量的增加有利于有机质含量和品质的提高.④逐步回归分析表明,≥5、2~5、0.25~0.5和 < 0.25 mm粒级团聚体中有机碳组分对水稳性团聚体的形成和稳定的影响较大.研究显示,植茶有利于土壤团聚体中腐殖质各组分的积累和腐殖化程度的增强,可增加土壤有机碳的稳定性;植茶25 a时土壤碳汇效应较强,植茶33 a后土壤固碳能力有所下降,可通过改善茶园施肥管理等措施保持茶园土壤的结构和肥力,以实现茶园土壤的可持续利用. 相似文献

针对甲烷和恶臭物质产生潜势与垃圾填埋龄的关系,利用全自动甲烷潜能测试系统进行厌氧发酵实验,监测累积产甲烷量和速率,使用气相色谱/质谱联用仪分析恶臭物质种类和浓度.结果表明:填埋龄较短的垃圾产气量高于填埋龄较长的垃圾,填埋龄3a的垃圾产气量最大,单位质量垃圾甲烷累计产生量为29.81mL/g,填埋龄7a的垃圾产气量最小,为6.16mL/g,填埋龄3a的垃圾产甲烷速率最大,最高值达112.3mL/d;共检出40种恶臭物质,芳香族和脂肪烃种类最多、浓度最高,芳香族、卤代烃和含硫化合物浓度比例随垃圾填埋龄增加而增加;脂肪烃浓度比例随垃圾填埋龄增加而减小. 相似文献
