Abstract The respiration and lipid contents and the tolerance to mycostatin, chloramphenicol and cycloheximide were compared in the two morphologically similar forms of the tomato pathogens: Fusarium oxysporum lycopersici (FOL) and the virulent form F. oxysporum radicis lycopersici (FORL). The differential tolerances to mycostatin were the most significant feature of the comparisons. The MIC for FORL was 24 μg/mL for the mycelium and 38 μg/mL for the spores. For FOL, the MIC was 8 ug/mL for both. This pattern of higher mycostatin tolerance by FORL obtained at 19°C and 27°C. There were differences between FOL and FORL in their fatty acid composition. FORL contained about three times as much C18:0 and over twice as much C18:1 as FOL. Conversely FOL contains over two times as much C16:1 as FORL. There appeared to be no significant differences between the respiration rates of the two pathogens. The data is discussed relative to their significance as the biochemical basis for examining pathogenicity and virulence between the two organisms. 相似文献

运用红外光谱法对3种典型土壤(红壤、潮土和黑土)的矿物质、胡敏酸及其与丁草胺的吸附附着物进行了研究.结果表明,江西红壤为高岭石型矿物质,在3 703,3 628,1 089,1 035,914,696及471 cm-1处有特征吸收峰.北京潮土和黑龙江黑土为蒙脱土型矿物质,在1 432和872 cm-1处有特征吸收峰,而在3 703和3 628 cm-1处吸收较弱或微弱.不同土壤中胡敏酸的组成基本相同,均在3 420,2 935,2 847,1 724,1 660及1 035 cm-1处有明显吸收,表明其含有缔合羟基、芳烃、羰基、醇、酚及酸等.丁草胺与土壤胡敏酸的吸附机理主要是在胡敏酸的羰基及酚醇羟基上形成氢键. 相似文献

通过磷脂脂肪酸(PLFAs)分析,研究了复合垂直流人工湿地基质剖面的微生物群落结构及其分布特征.结果表明,湿地PLFAs组成以饱和脂肪酸、支链脂肪酸和单不饱和脂肪酸为主,多不饱和脂肪酸与环丙烷脂肪酸含量较少.特征脂肪酸的比值呈垂直分布.基质中好氧原核微生物为优势类群,其次为革兰氏阳性细菌及其他厌氧细菌,真核微生物所占比例最低.统计结果显示,好氧原核微生物的特征PLFAs相对含量在上行池表层最高;革兰氏阳性细菌、SRB及其他厌氧细菌的特征PLFAs相对含量在下行池中层显著高于其他位点,指示该区域为湿地系统主要的兼性厌氧功能区. 相似文献

Abstract: Lethal control, which has been used to reduce local abundances of animals in conflict with humans or with endangered species, may not achieve management goals if animal movement is not considered. In populations with emigration and immigration, lethal control may induce compensatory immigration, if the source of attraction remains unchanged. Within the Columbia River Basin (Washington, U.S.A.), avian predators forage at dams because dams tend to reduce rates of emigration of juvenile salmonids (Oncorhynchus spp.), artificially concentrating these prey. We used differences in fatty acid profiles between Caspian Terns (Hydroprogne caspia) at coastal and inland breeding colonies and terns culled by a lethal control program at a mid‐Columbia River dam to infer dispersal patterns. We modeled the rate of loss of fatty acid biomarkers, which are fatty acids that can be traced to a single prey species or groups of species, to infer whether and when terns foraging at dams had emigrated from the coast. Nonmetric multidimensional scaling showed that coastal terns had high levels of C20 and C22 monounsaturated fatty acids, whereas fatty acids of inland breeders were high in C18:3n3, C20:4n6, and C22:5n3. Models of the rate of loss of fatty acid showed that approximately 60% of the terns collected at Rock Island Dam were unlikely to have bred successfully at local (inland) sites, suggesting that terns foraging at dams come from an extensive area. Fatty acid biomarkers may provide accurate information about patterns of dispersal in animal populations and may be extremely valuable in cases where populations differ demonstrably in prey base. 相似文献

Abstract Strigol (1) is a natural product that triggers suicidal germination of parasitic Striga species. Here we present an improved annulation sequence for the synthesis of the tricyclic moieties of strigol and its analogues. Our approach makes use of the one‐pot cyclization of 5‐nitro‐2‐pentanone and cyclopent‐2‐enone diesters to afford 7‐methyl‐4‐nitro‐l‐oxo‐hydrindene derivatives. 为研究岩溶地下河中溶解性有机质来源及变化特征,2014年11月1日和11月8日分别对重庆丰都雪玉洞地下河入口(Site 1)及出口(Site 2)进行取样,利用气相色谱气质联用仪(GS-MS)对样品中溶解态脂肪酸的组分进行定量分析.结果表明,Site1和Site2溶解态脂肪酸平均浓度分别为1698和4419 ng·L~(-1),地下河出口处溶解态脂肪酸浓度明显高于地下河入口处;各采样点中溶解态脂肪酸组成以低碳数饱和直链脂肪酸(C≤20:0)为主要组成部分,其次为单不饱和脂肪酸;结合主成分分析(PCA)表明,雪玉洞地下河水中DOM主要来源于土壤中细菌、真菌等微生物,其次为洞外地表河流中DOM向雪玉洞地下河水中的输入.另外,洞内游客的旅游活动对地下河水中DOM的来源影响明显. 相似文献
