In 2002, a “top-down” biomanipulation (reduction of biomass of planktivorous fish Carassius auratus) had been successfully carried out in a small reservoir of the river Bugach (Krasnoyarsk, Russia), after which the cyanobacterial blooming ceased. However, the reservoir ecosystem was absolutely free of Daphnia – the main link of trophic cascade. As supposed, the reduction of blooming was the result of suppression of a direct stimulation effect of planktivorous fish on cyanobacteria, revealed earlier in laboratory experiments. The question arose as to whether the effect of stimulation of cyanobacteria revealed in laboratory may lead to the changes in biomass of cyanobacteria in the reservoir, observed after the biomanipulation.To test this supposition, a mathematical model describing growth of cyanobacteria in the reservoir was developed. The modelling results and field data on biomass of cyanobacteria in summer closely coincided. Modelling calculations showed that direct influence of planktivorous fish could cause the second summer peak of water blooming by Microcystis. On the contrary, removal of crucian carp from the reservoir will not affect the level of water blooming caused by cyanobacteria Anabaena, as this species’ growth is not stimulated by fish.  相似文献

The activity levels of aminotransferases such as alanine aminotransferases (AlAT), aspartate aminotransferases (AAT), isoleucine aminotranferases (IlAT), leucine aminotransferases (LAT), valine aminotrasferases (VAT) were measured in the mid gut of the blister beetle; Mylabris pustulata (Thunb) exposed to sublethal doses of carbaryl. The insecticide markedly inhibited the activity levels of all aminotransferases exposed for either short or prolonged treatments. The beetles regained normal enzymic activity after withdrawal from the treatment. It is possible that chronic exposures of beetles to carbaryl may induce impairment in protein synthesis in the mid gut of the beetle.  相似文献

Methyl tert-butyl ether(MTBE), as a widely used gasoline additive, is suspected of being environmentally toxic. MTBE accumulates mainly in adipose tissue, but its effect on obesity or obesity-related metabolic disorders has not been well understood yet. Therefore, we examined the effect of MTBE on the adipose function and the related metabolic processes with both 3T3-L1 cell line and C57 BL/6 J mice model. We found that exposure to MTBE at the environmental relevant concentration(100 μmol/L) could significantly induce differentiation of preadipocyte and disturb insulin-stimulated glucose uptake of mature adipocyte.The in vivo observation in male mice showed a positive correlation of visceral white adipose tissue(vWAT) expansion and cell size increase with MTBE treatment in 14 weeks. Glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity tests demonstrated that MTBE at 1000 μg/(kg·day)disturbed the systemic glucose metabolism in a gender-specific manner, which might be partly attributed to the alterations of gut microbiota community at genus level with respect to Akkermansia, Clostridium XlVb, and Megamonas. In summary, our study characterized the effect of MTBE on adipose tissue function and glucose homeostasis in vitro and in vivo, and revealed that systemic disorders of the glucose metabolism might be modulated by the related gut microbiota.  相似文献

Las Catonas stream (Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area) receives a complex mixture of pollutants from point and diffuse sources because of the agricultural, industrial and urban land uses of its basin. Widespread detection of heavy metals exceeding aquatic life protection levels has occurred in monitoring reconnaissance studies in surface and pore water. As a result of the screening of Cu, Cd, Zn and Pb resistant/tolerant and culturable microbiota, B101N and 200H strains (Pseudomonas fluorescens or putida) were isolated and selected for further studies. They showed 65% Cd and 35% Zn extraction efficiency from aqueous phase. The potential use of these strains in wastewater treatment is currently investigated in order to contribute to decrease heavy metal pollution, a problem affecting every stream of Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.  相似文献

以赤子爱胜蚓(Eisenia fetida)为受试生物,通过活体与离体实验,研究6:2氟调羧酸(6:2FTCA)在蚯蚓体内的毒理效应和代谢转化机制.结果表明,6:2FTCA对蚯蚓体内丙二醛(MDA)含量和过氧化物酶(POD)活性无显著影响,但能够使过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性提高,使超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和谷胱甘肽转移酶(GST)活性显著升高,说明6:2FTCA对蚯蚓产生了氧化胁迫效应.6:2FTCA在蚯蚓细胞色素P450(CYP450)和GST酶提取液中的降解动力学均符合一级动力学模型,在CYP450(0.014/h)酶液中的降解速率明显高于GST (0.006/h),其终端全氟羧酸(PFCAs)代谢产物为全氟己酸(PFHxA)、全氟戊酸(PFPeA)和全氟丁酸(PFBA),说明CYP450和GST参与了6:2FTCA在蚯蚓体内的代谢转化,且CYP450贡献大于GST.蚯蚓肠道好氧微生物对6:2FTCA具有显著的降解效果,终端PFCAs降解产物为PFHxA和PFPeA,而肠道厌氧微生物对6:2FTCA无降解作用.  相似文献

土壤有机碳是全球碳循环的重要组成部分,而大型土壤动物对土壤碳库的稳定性起着重要的决定作用。利用14C示踪技术,以14C-葡萄糖制备微生物源的土壤有机质(Soil organic matter,SOM),以蚯蚓威廉腔环蚓(Metaphire guillelmi)为代表,研究了14C-SOM在含有蚯蚓的两种土壤、不含蚯蚓的对照土壤和不含蚯蚓的蚓粪中的矿化、残留物在土壤和蚓粪中分布以及蚯蚓对14C-SOM的吸收。结果显示,15 d的培育期内蚯蚓显著加快了14C-SOM的矿化,在土壤中的矿化量是不含蚯蚓的对照土壤中矿化量的1.5~1.7倍,然而当移出蚯蚓后,残留14C-SOM在两种土壤中40 d内的矿化都比对照土壤中低。大约有4.2%~4.8%的14C-SOM被蚯蚓吸收利用。在有蚯蚓存在的土壤中,14C-SOM残留物在胡敏素中的含量有所增高,而在溶解有机物(DOM)中的含量显著降低。14C-SOM在不含蚯蚓的蚓粪中55 d内的矿化量和矿化动力学以及残留分布与在对照土壤中均没有显著区别。这些结果表明,蚯蚓对微生物源14C-SOM转化的影响主要是蚯蚓的肠道作用,这种作用可表现在两个方面,即初期对14C-SOM矿化的促进作...  相似文献

Cypermethrin (CYP), a prototypical synthetic pyrethroid, reportedly causes metabolic disruption, while its stereoselective impact remains elusive. This study initially revealed that only α-CYP caused significant weight loss at 8.5 mg/(kg•day) in rats. All three CYP isomers caused the accumulation of hepatic glycogen, and hyperlipemia phenotype as the increment of total triglyceride. Rats treated with α-CYP had markedly high blood glucose levels and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance index. The systematic inflammation of θ-CYP group rats was evidenced by high lipopolysaccharide-binding protein levels and abnormalities of leukocytes indices. By examining the gut microbiome, we found that α-CYP-treated rats had low contents of Firmicutes and high levels of Verrucomicrobia while Elusimicrobia was enriched in the β-CYP group. The increasing alpha diversity in the θ-CYP group may be due to the dominance of pathogenic bacteria and the increase of probiotics to counteract adverse effects. Exclusively, the α-CYP group enriched total short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), whereas most SCFAs depleted in the θ-CYP group. The correlation analysis further found Firmicutes, an energy storage modulator, was positive to body weight (BW), while SCFAs exerted the opposite, confirming the low BW in α-CYP. Blood glucose that correlated well with SCFAs and Verrucomicrobia can be accounted for the discrepancy between α-CYP and θ-CYP. Overall, the three isomers exerted stereoselective glycolipid disruption in rats, and gut homeostasis acted as vital indicators.  相似文献

镉(Cd~(2+))作为水环境中毒性较强的污染物之一,对水生动物各器官均造成了不良影响。为了了解镉对消化系统的毒性机理,研究了镉胁迫对大型溞(Daphnia magna)肠道组织及消化酶活力的影响。依据国家《地表水环境质量标准》(GB3838—2002)中Ⅴ类水质的镉浓度标准限值的1倍、5倍和9倍设置3个镉浓度组(0.01、0.05、0.09 mg·L~(-1))和1个对照组,分别处理24、48 h。结果表明,镉处理对大型溞肠道结构、淀粉酶、脂肪酶和胰蛋白酶活力均产生了影响。首先,随着镉浓度的升高,显微结构显示,大型溞肠道上皮细胞排列松散、不整齐,并出现"空泡化";内侧纹状缘严重脱落。亚显微结构显示,肠道微绒毛出现断裂、溶解消失现象;线粒体发生肿胀、空泡化,嵴断裂或消失。其次,淀粉酶活力显著降低(P<0.01),与镉浓度之间存在剂量-效应关系;脂肪酶活力在镉浓度为0.01~0.05 mg·L~(-1)时升高,在0.09 mg·L~(-1)时活力被抑制;胰蛋白酶在镉处理24 h浓度为0.01 mg·L~(-1)时显著高于对照组(P<0.05),在镉处理48 h时,各浓度组均显著低于对照组(P<0.01)。镉对大型溞消化酶活力的最低可观察效应浓度(LOEC)为0.01 mg·L~(-1)。大型溞作为常用的毒理学监测动物,实验结果将为含镉废水排放标准的完善提供理论依据。  相似文献
