长输管道凹陷提压回圆评价方法

为了解决长输管道深凹陷所导致的清管器及内检测器难以通过的工程问题,基于局部提高管道内压可使凹陷回圆、深度减小以达到清管器或检测器可通过深度门槛值的思想,建立了内压作用下管道凹陷回圆过程非线性有限元模型;提出了管道凹陷回圆系数的定义;通过应力应变响应分析对凹陷回圆过程的安全性进行论证;对回圆系数的影响因素进行分析,探讨径厚比、管材、凹陷尺寸、初始内压、回圆压力等参数对回圆系数的影响;基于有限元计算算例,采用非线性回归的方法拟合了凹陷回圆系数工程计算公式。研究结果表明:在极限回圆压力工况下,凹陷回圆过程中管道未发生二次塑性损伤;误差分析显示拟合所得公式预测精度较好,可用于长输管道凹陷的回圆评价。

电站锅炉运行压力大、工作温度高,锅炉本体系统多且复杂,锅炉内部检验对锅炉运行安全显得尤为重要。本文根据广州市近4年电站锅炉定期检验情况,以南沙区某运行小时数超10万的电站锅炉内部检验为依据,对电站锅炉内部检验中检验要点、检验方法以及典型缺陷进行阐述与总结,及时跟踪缺陷处理状况,消除电站锅炉潜在的安全隐患。

安全检查是现代安全管理中最有效的手段 ,也是企业发现事故隐患、促进现场安全文明生产的好途径。介绍了安全检查作用及特性 ,并结合目前安全检查存在的不足 ,提出了一些强化安全检查效果的对策。     

Comprehensive framework for underground pipeline management with reliability and cost factors using Monte Carlo simulation

A reliability model for underground pipeline management that can quantify the trade-off between risk reduction and increased maintenance costs in various underground piping management scenarios can be useful for many pipeline-maintenance decision-makers. In this paper, we propose a comprehensive framework for analyzing underground pipeline management options. Pipeline reliability is calculated using time-dependent and independent limit state functions with a probabilistic model and a deterministic model about the frequency of a failure occurrence event. The proposed framework includes the target reliability, consequences, and cost model, and has the advantage that it can be intuitively utilized for piping management decision-making. We conducted several case studies using a Monte Carlo simulation on pipelines in industrial complexes in Korea.     

Influence of visual clutter on the effect of navigated safety inspection: a case study on elevator installation

Introduction. Navigated safety inspection based on task-specific checklists can increase the hazard detection rate, theoretically with interference from scene complexity. Visual clutter, a proxy of scene complexity, can theoretically impair visual search performance, but its impact on the effect of safety inspection performance remains to be explored for the optimization of navigated inspection. This research aims to explore whether the relationship between working memory and hazard detection rate is moderated by visual clutter. Methods. Based on a perceptive model of hazard detection, we: (a) developed a mathematical influence model for construction hazard detection; (b) designed an experiment to observe the performance of hazard detection rate with adjusted working memory under different levels of visual clutter, while using an eye-tracking device to observe participants’ visual search processes; (c) utilized logistic regression to analyze the developed model under various visual clutter. Conclusion. The effect of a strengthened working memory on the detection rate through increased search efficiency is more apparent in high visual clutter. This study confirms the role of visual clutter in construction-navigated inspections, thus serving as a foundation for the optimization of inspection planning.

Tentative guidelines for studying the behaviour of p,p'‐DDT under field and laboratory conditions

Abstract

The objectives of the IPP Project—Periodic Inspection on Crop Sprayers—are to develop methods for sprayer certification, analyze quality on spray operation, propose an inspection system for crop sprayers in Brazil, improve environmental quality on spray operation, and reduce costs on chemical control for plant protection systems. Periodic inspections on crop sprayers are performed in several countries and are compulsory in most of them, and it is becoming an important tool for improvement and optimization of use of chemicals. The IPP Project in Brazil is funded by FAPESP—Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo. The results so far showed that all the sprayers presented failures. However, most of them could be approved with minor services. As an example, 56.6% of the sprayers with more than 2 years of use presented leaks, 47% of them had damaged hoses and 80.5% presented bad tips (nozzles). These results indicate the need for better procedures of use and maintenance of sprayers, justifying the periodic inspection system.
