The Ernesto Tornquist nature reserve is a relict of native Pampas vegetation in Argentina. Alien trees were introduced to the reserve in the 1950s, mainly to "improve" the natural landscape, resulting in the arrival of a totally new life form. In 1987, a fire affected an area planted with Pinus halepensis resulting in its massive expansion. In 1999, we removed trees from 17 circular plots of 10 m diameter placed systematically within the area that was colonized after the fire. Trunks were cut 20 cm from the ground and growth rings were counted. We studied the age structure of the population in order to reconstruct the colonizing events after the fire. We found that recruitment occurred throughout this period, except in the three years after the disturbance. We suggest that this delay in recruitment might be caused by low seedling survival under water stress conditions due to low rainfall, combined with scarce vegetation cover after fire. This could have been associated with an initial reduction in propagule pressure due to the scarcity of surviving trees in the vicinity and with the fact that fire occurred after the peak of seed release, during an extremely dry summer, probably killing a great number of seeds that were already in the soil. In the following years, recruitment was probably aided by pioneer trees and later by seeds shed from established pines. Alien trees had been allowed to reach maturity due to wildfire prevention and control in the years preceding the fire and the accumulated dry matter resulted in increased fire intensity that reduced the ability of grasses to re-sprout. Soil structure critically affects the hydrological behaviour of soils. In this paper, we examined the impact of areal heterogeneity of hydraulic properties of a structured soil on soil ensemble behaviour for various soil water flow processes with different top boundary conditions (redistribution and drainage plus evaporation and infiltration). Using a numerical solution of the Richards' equation in a stochastic framework, the ensemble characteristics and flow dynamics were studied for drying and wetting processes observed during a time interval of ten days when a series of relatively intense rainfall events occurred. The effects of using unimodal and bimodal interpretative models of hydraulic properties on the ensemble hydrological behaviour of the soil were illustrated by comparing predictions to mean water contents measured over time in several sites at field scale. Although the differences between unimodal and bimodal fitting are not significant in terms of goodness of fit, the differences in process predictions are considerable with the bimodal soil simulating water content measurements much better than unimodal soil. We also investigated the relative contribution of the soil variability of each parameter on the variance of the water contents obtained as the main output of the stochastic simulations. The variability of the structural parameter, weighting the two pore space fractions in the bimodal interpretative model, has the largest contribution to water content variance. The contribution of each parameter depends only partly on the coefficient of variation, much more on the sensitivity of the model to the parameters and on the flow process being observed. The degradation kinetics and micro-scale structure change of microcrystalline cellulose during anaerobic biodegradation were investigated. A modified Logistic model was established to properly describe the kinetics, which showed good fitness and wide applicability for cellulose degradation. A maximum degradation rate of 0.14 g L−1 h−1 was achieved after cultivating for 51.5 h. This result was in good agreement with the scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction analysis. Channels of 400-500 nm size started to occur on the crystalline surface of cellulose at around the inflexion time. Accordingly, the crystallinity significantly decreased at this point, indicating a degradation of the crystalline structure zones by anaerobic bacteria. This study offers direct morphological evidence and quantitative analysis of the biodegradation process of cellulose, and is beneficial to a better understanding of the cellulose degradation mechanism. 相似文献

为研究地质因素对煤层瓦斯赋存的影响,针对淮北矿区石台煤矿3煤层,采用瓦斯地质块段划分的方法,以井田内主要断层和天然焦区为界,把3煤层划分为3个独立的地质块段,分区对不同地质块段内地质因素对煤层瓦斯赋存规律进行研究,分析褶皱构造、断裂构造及岩浆侵蚀等对煤层瓦斯压力和瓦斯涌出量的影响。结果表明:地质构造对瓦斯保存和运移起到重要作用,岩浆岩侵入对石台煤矿3煤层煤与瓦斯突出的控制作用最为明显,地质块段的划分(分区管理)对地质构造复杂的高瓦斯及煤与瓦斯突出矿井具有重要意义。 相似文献

矿工违章行为是诱发煤矿重大事故的关键因素之一,以计划行为理论(TPB)为构架,加入过去行为和风险倾向2个变量,提出矿工违章行为影响因素之间的假设关系。通过问卷调查并运用结构方程模型(SEM)探讨违章行为影响因素之间的关系。结果表明:行为态度、主观规范、行为控制认知、风险倾向这4个变量对违章行为均有显著影响,主观规范和过去行为通过行为态度这一中介变量又间接地影响违章行为。实证研究结果表明,TPB模型在解释矿工违章行为问题上的适用性。 相似文献

我国12个海岛县,分散分布在黄海等四大海域中,由于所处的海域位置、海洋与岛陆资源丰度以及受市场机制与人文状况、海岛资源开发力度与所处行政区的影响,海岛县际之间经济存在一定差异。根据海岛县人均GDP计算的基尼系数和绘制的洛伦斯曲线图,可以看出海岛县经济差异在缩小。海岛县之间产业结构也存在不同的演进过程,根据主成分得分值,在坐标系上海岛县的具体分布,可以划分出产业结构的不同演进阶段和产业结构类型。目前,海岛县的经济虽然仍为资源型经济,但在开发利用资源方面,已从海洋生物资源利用为主,逐步转向以利用海洋空间资源、海洋非生物资源、岛陆土地资源和海洋生物资源并重的发展方向。一些陆域发展的产业也逐步向海岛转移和延伸,从而在海岛县经济结构中,二、三产业的比重有所增加。 相似文献

利用微生物光电化学池(MPEC)去除污染物是一种经济高效环保的方法.本实验在制备获得聚苯胺/二氧化钛纳米管阵列(PANI/TiO_2-NTs)复合光电极的基础上,构建了由PANI/TiO_2-NTs光阳极和生物阴极组成的MPEC系统,并对其去除硝酸盐氮(NO~-_3-N)的性能进行研究.结果表明,PANI负载时间为80 s时,PANI/TiO_2-NTs电极光电性能最佳,相比于TiO_2-NTs电极光电流密度增大约一倍,PANI的修饰有效提高了光能利用率.构建的MPEC系统能在无外加电压的条件下利用光能驱动实现自养反硝化脱氮,NO~-_3-N的生物降解符合准一级反应动力学方程.光响应电流密度越大,系统反硝化脱氮性能越好,NO~-_3-N初始浓度为25 mg·L~(-1)时,当光响应电流密度从0.17 mA·cm~(-2)增加至0.67 mA·cm~(-2),平均反硝化速率从0.83 mg·(L·h)~(-1)增大到2.83 mg·(L·h)~(-1).对生物阴极微生物膜进行了高通量测序,发现Pseudomonas所占比例最大(27.37%)为优势菌属.分析认为PANI/TiO_2-NTs光阳极产生的光生电子通过外电路传递到阴极,Pseudomonas、Alishewanella和Flavobacterium等具有自养反硝化能力和电化学活性的微生物可直接利用电极上的电子作为唯一的电子供体进行自养反硝化脱氮. 相似文献
