中国近海海洋环境多氯联苯(PCBs)污染现状及影响因素   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3

对中国近海海洋环境(水体、表层沉积物和生物体)中多氯联苯(PCBs)的空间分布、污染程度、来源及影响因素进行了总结,得出如下结果:①我国近海海域水体中,PCBs的含量水平呈现由北向南逐渐增加的趋势,以东部沿海工农业发达地区为最高,我国大部分近海海域水体中PCBs都超过美国EPA制定的30 ng·L-1的标准,污染比较严重;②我国近海海域表层沉积物中PCBs只有小部分超过ISQG(interim sediment quality guideline)和ERL(effects range-low)值,引起生物负效应的几率比较小,污染程度较轻;③生物体内富集的PCBs以4、5和6等高氯代联苯为主,其含量都低于《食品中污染物限量标准》2 000ng·g-1,不会对人类健康造成影响.④我国近海海洋环境中PCBs主要来源于周围大型工厂排放的废水以及电子垃圾拆解造成的PCBs泄漏,影响PCBs含量水平的主要因素有距离陆地的远近程度、水流交换情况、水量大小、季节的变化、沉积物颗粒大小、有机碳含量等等.  相似文献

Thyroid hormones, which influence body metabolism and development, could be affected by persistent organic pollutants. We sought to examine the relationship between polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and thyroid disease. We employed incidence density sampling to perform a nested case control analysis of the Michigan Long-Term PBB Cohort. Cohort members (n = 3333) were exposed to PBBs through contaminated cattle feed in 1973-1974 and to PCBs through daily life. Those with detectable serum PBB and PCB concentrations at enrollment were categorized into tertiles of PBB and PCB exposure. Case-patients were cohort members answering “Yes” to “Has a healthcare provider ever told you that you had a thyroid problem?” during follow-up interviews; control-patients were cohort members answering “No”. We used odds ratios (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI) to compare odds of thyroid disease by PBB and PCB exposure and by various risk factors. Total cumulative thyroid disease incidence after 33 years was 13.9% among women and 2.6% among men. After adjusting for body mass index, we found no statistically significant differences in odds of any type of thyroid disease among women or men with elevated PBB or PCB exposure. Compared to control-patients, women with thyroid disease had increased odds of being overweight/obese (OR = 2.82, 95% CI: 1.94-4.11) and developing infertility (OR = 1.71, 95% CI: 1.08-2.69), diabetes (OR = 1.61, 95% CI: 1.04-2.51), or arthritis (OR = 1.71, 95% CI: 1.18-2.50) during follow-up. Additional research should explore potential associations between PBBs/PCBs and thyroid disease among children exposed in utero.  相似文献

This article examines the thermal decomposition of alpha-cypermethrin, one of the most common pyrethroid pesticides. The objective was to identify its decomposition pathways and to gain an understanding into the formation of toxic species in the environment, including those that may behave in combustion systems, especially in fires in the environment, as precursors for PCDD/F (polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans). The experiments were conducted under non-oxidative conditions using a tubular reactor housed in a three-zone heating furnace and operated with a dilute stream of alpha-cypermethrin in 99.999% nitrogen. The condensable products were identified and quantitated, after being collected in a cold solvent trap and in an activated charcoal cartridge. The study revealed the formation of pollutants including precursors of toxic PCDD/F such as diphenyl ether and phenol. It was also found that the decomposition of alpha-cypermethrin involved parallel pathways of an unusual vinylcyclopropane rearrangement-cum-aromatisation reaction transforming alpha-cypermethrin and a rupture of the C(O)OC(CN) linkage. The former is similar to that occurring in the decomposition of permethrin pesticide, whereas the latter constitutes a newly discovered channel for the formation of pollutants. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations allowed us to attribute the occurrence of the second pathway to the effect of the cyanide group in significantly weakening the OC bond.  相似文献

The concentrations of indicator polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and organochlorine insecticides were determined in bonito (Sardasarda L. 1758) and anchovy (Engraulisencrasicolus L. 1758) from the Black Sea, Turkey. Concentrations of total indicator PCBs ranged between <1-17.0 in bonito, and <1-17.5 ng/g fresh weight in anchovy, and total of 1,1,1-trichloro-2,2-bis-chlorophenyl-ethane and its metabolites’ (DDTs) concentrations ranged between 13.4-26.3, and 2.96-19.0 ng/g fresh weight in bonito and anchovy respectively. PCB 52, p,p′-DDE and endosulfan (α + β) were found dominant in both of the fish species. Except endosulfan, and some DDT metabolites, none of the studied organochlorine pesticides was detected in the fish samples. Concentrations of PCBs in anchovy were found higher than those in bonito, whereas DDT and endosulfan concentrations were found similar in both of the fish species. All of the fish samples had residue concentrations below the maximum residue limits (MRL) recommended by FAO/WHO Codex Alimentarius Commission.  相似文献

Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) are ubiquitous contaminants and can be considerably accumulated by natural plants. In order to elucidate the biochemical and physiological responses of plant to PCDD/Fs, tobacco Bright Yellow-2 (BY-2) cells were selected as model plant and treated with time- and concentration-dependent PCDD/Fs. The toxic effect and oxidative stress caused by PCDD/Fs were evident, which could be indicted by the reduction in fresh mass, the increase in malondialdehyde (MDA) content, and the damage of tobacco cell ultrastructure. PCDD/Fs tolerance was correlated with changes in antioxidant system and hormones of tobacco cells. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POD) exhibited peak enzyme activities at the PCDD/Fs concentration of 1000 ng WHO98-TEQ g−1 fresh weight. Glutathione reductase (GR) enzyme activity increased monotonically at high level PCDD/Fs, but the activity of catalase (CAT) was only slightly affected at all treatment. Meanwhile, the exposure to PCDD/Fs resulted in the changes of hormones content. With the increase of exposure concentration of PCDD/Fs, the levels of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and abscisic acid (ABA) increased, whereas the concentration of jasmonates (JAs) decreased. The above results suggest that tobacco cells had the ability to cope with the oxidative stress induced by low concentration of PCDD/Fs through increasing the activities of antioxidant enzymes and alternating plant hormones levels. However, oxidative stress and toxicity would burst out when plant cells were exposed to the high levels of PCDD/Fs.  相似文献

The present study investigated polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and hydroxylated metabolites of PCBs (OH-PCBs) in blood from three porpoise species: finless porpoises (Neophocaena phocaenoides), harbor porpoises (Phocoena phocoena), and Dall’s porpoises (Phocoenoides dalli). The porpoises were found stranded or were bycaught along the Japanese coast. Concentrations of OH-PCB were the highest in Dall’s porpoises (58 pg g−1 wet wt), second highest in finless porpoises (20 pg g−1 wet wt), and lowest in harbor porpoises (8.3 pg g−1 wet wt). The concentrations in Dall’s porpoises were significantly higher than the concentrations in finless porpoises and harbor porpoises (p < 0.05 and p < 0.01, respectively). There was a positive correlation between PCB and OH-PCB concentrations (r = 0.67, p < 0.001), suggesting the possible concentration-dependent induction of CYP enzymes. The three porpoise species may have exceptionally low metabolic capacities compared with other marine and terrestrial mammals, because low OH-PCB/PCB concentration ratios were found, which were 0.0016 for Dall’s porpoises, 0.0013 for harbor porpoises, and 0.00058 for finless porpoises. Distinct differences in the OH-PCB congener patterns were observed for the three species, even though they are taxonomically closely related.  相似文献

废旧电容器封存点土壤中的PCBs污染特征和健康风险评价   总被引:1,自引:3,他引:1  
以某废旧电容器封存点为例,研究了废旧电容器封存点土壤中PCBs的污染特征以及类二英类PCBs的毒性风险,并应用健康风险模型评估了居住用地和工业用地方式下封存点土壤PCBs污染对人体的致癌和非致癌风险.结果表明:封存点0~30 cm、30~100 cm及200~250 cm土壤中ΣPCBs平均浓度分别达到6.23、19.3和1 540 mg·kg-1,并以3~4氯代PCBs为主.毒性当量结果表明,封存点ΣWHO-TEQ最高达到457μg·kg-1,具有较高的毒性风险,其中PCB126是封存点土壤中总TEQ的主要贡献者.健康风险评价结果表明,在居民用地方式下,多种暴露途径导致的儿童及成人的累积非致癌风险(0.927~1 760)几乎都超过可接受非致癌风险水平,其中儿童为最敏感受体.工业用地方式下,除表土以外,工人的累积非致癌风险均超过了可接受水平.居住和工业用地方式下土壤中PCBs的总致癌风险均超过了可接受风险水平(10-6~10-5).不同土地利用方式下对于所有人群,经口暴露的致癌和非致癌风险都最大.  相似文献

Tissue distribution provides important information regarding the pharmacokinetic behavior of pollutants and is invaluable when analyzing the risk posed to avian species by the exposure to such kind of pollutants. In this study, concentrations of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) were determined in muscle, liver, spleen, kidney, stomach, gall bladder, skin, heart, pancreas, intestine and lung tissue extracts of cormorants collected from Dongting Lake, China. Tissue distribution results showed preferential accumulation of PCDD/Fs in both liver and skin. The total concentration of PCDD/Fs ranged from 421 to 5696 pg/g lipid weight. Octachlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxin (OCDD) was the predominant congener in all tissues and contributed between 31% and 82% to all 17 PCDD/Fs in different tissues. The liver/muscle ratios progressively increased with the degree of chlorination of PCDDs, except for OCDD. The relative toxic potential of PCDDs and PCDFs in tissues were calculated using the World Health Organization (WHO) Toxic Equivalency Factors (TEFs) for birds. The concentrations of WHO-toxic equivalent in different tissues ranged between 14.8 and 2021 pg/g lipid weight. These results indicated PCDD/Fs may have been bio-accumulated in cormorant via food-web. Furthermore, when compared with studies reported in the literatures, the PCDD/Fs levels in the cormorant collected from Dongting Lake were still relatively high.  相似文献

Persistent organochlorine compounds, including hexachlorocyclohexanes (HCHs), dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethanes (DDTs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) were analyzed in surface water and sediments from Baiyangdian Lake, North China. Total concentrations of HCHs, DDTs and PCBs in surface water were in the range of 3.13-10.60, 4.05-20.59 and 19.46-131.62 ng/L, respectively, and total concentrations of HCHs, DDTs and PCBs in sediments were 1.75-5.70, 0.91-6.48 and 5.96-29.61 ng/g dry weight, respectively. Among the groups of HCHs (sum of α-HCH, β-HCH, γ-HCH and δ-HCH) and DDTs (sum of DDT, DDD and DDE), the predominance of β-HCH, DDE and DDD in water and sediment samples was clearly observed. This observation suggested that β-HCH was resistant to biodegradation and the DDTs had been transformed to its metabolites, DDE and DDD. For PCBs, penta-, hexa- and hepta-chlorinated congeners were the most abundant compounds in the both phases. Furthermore, the partitioning of chlorinated compounds between sediment and water was investigated to understand their transport and fates in aquatic ecosystems. The results indicated that average logs of organic carbon-normalized sediment-water partition coefficients (logKoc') for OCPs varied between 3.20 and 5.53, and for PCBs, logKoc' values ranged from 3.19 to 5.57. The observed logKoc' was lower than their equilibrium logKoc predicted from linear model, which may be attributed to the solubility enhancement effect of colloidal matter in water phase and the disequilibrium between sediment and water.  相似文献

2011年4月采集了东营市孤岛地区20个表层土壤样品,采用索氏提取-弗罗里土柱净化-气相色谱-电子捕获检测器检测的方法对采集的样品进行测定,揭示了该地区表层土壤中类二英类PCBs(dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls,DL-PCBs)的污染特征.结果表明,DL-PCBs的含量范围为1.4~7.4μg·kg-1,平均含量为(3.5±1.7)μg·kg-1;DL-PCBs的毒性当量为1.2~31.8 ng·kg-1,平均值为5.4 ng·kg-1,超过了加拿大土壤环境质量标准(4.0 ng·kg-1).各采样点间DL-PCBs的同系物组成相似,均以四氯联苯和五氯联苯为主,两者之和超过DL-PCBs总量的80%;从孤岛城镇到郊区,DL-PCBs的含量逐渐降低,这与许多化工厂分布在城镇周围有关.相关性分析显示,土壤中DL-PCBs的含量与土壤有机碳含量与黏粒含量显著正相关(R2分别为0.732和0.687,P<0.01),而与土壤砂粒含量负相关(R2=-0.438,P<0.05).  相似文献
