PM2.5 (particles with aerodynamic diameters less than 2.5 μm) chemical source profiles applicable to speciated emissions inventories and receptor model source apportionment are reported for geological material, motor vehicle exhaust, residential coal (RCC) and wood combustion (RWC), forest fires, geothermal hot springs; and coal-fired power generation units from northwestern Colorado during 1995. Fuels and combustion conditions are similar to those of other communities of the inland western US. Coal-fired power station profiles differed substantially between different units using similar coals, with the major difference being lack of selenium in emissions from the only unit that was equipped with a dry limestone sulfur dioxide (SO2) scrubber. SO2 abundances relative to fine particle mass emissions in power plant emissions were seven to nine times higher than hydrogen sulfide (H2S) abundances from geothermal springs, and one to two orders of magnitude higher than SO2 abundances in RCC emissions, implying that the SO2 abundance is an important marker for primary particle contributions of non-aged coal-fired power station contributions. The sum of organic and elemental carbon ranged from 1% to 10% of fine particle mass in coal-fired power plant emissions, from 5% to 10% in geological material, >50% in forest fire emissions, >60% in RWC emissions, and >95% in RCC and vehicle exhaust emissions. Water-soluble potassium (K+) was most abundant in vegetative burning profiles. K+/K ratios ranged from 0.1 in geological material profiles to 0.9 in vegetative burning emissions, confirming previous observations that soluble potassium is a good marker for vegetative burning.  相似文献

The business environment faced by contemporary organizations is highly uncertain and constantly changing. Thus, organizations have adopted and implemented a continuous stream of innovations to achieve sustainable growth and survival. Considering the demand for additional resources to implement innovations, the present study explores organizational conditions that may lead to innovation‐targeted burnout and fatigue among employees, which impede their active participation in a subsequent innovation. To this end, we propose a theoretical framework that elucidates the effects of previous innovations on the subsequent implementation behavior of employees. We identify two dimensions of the cognitive appraisal of previous innovations (i.e., intensity and failure) that shape employees' beliefs regarding innovations, such as innovation‐targeted helplessness, which ultimately results in innovation fatigue. Data collected from 84 managers and 397 employees of Chinese and Korean organizations prove the significant role of employee perceptions of previous innovations in shaping the innovation‐targeted helplessness and fatigue of employees, which ultimately affect employee behavior toward a subsequent innovation. The present conceptual and empirical analyses suggest that given continuous streams of innovation implementation, managers should carefully consider employee's perceptions of previous innovations (i.e., intensity and failure) for successful implementation of a subsequent innovation. 为了研究封闭空间对竖向电缆燃烧过程的影响,在开放空间和封闭空间内分别进行了一系列不同间隙的竖向电缆燃烧试验。通过分析开放空间和封闭空间内不同电缆间隙的竖向电缆燃烧过程中质量损失速率,得到电缆之间的间隙对竖向电缆燃烧速率有着决定性的影响。通过对比开放空间和封闭空间内竖向电缆的燃烧过程发现,封闭空间对竖向电缆燃烧过程的影响作用存在一个临界区间,该区间的临界判据是由电缆燃烧火焰对电缆的热作用和封闭空间内烟气层对电缆的热反馈决定的。基于封闭空间内的竖向温度分布,通过分析其无量纲温度梯度,得到封闭空间内竖向电缆燃烧过程存在一个特征明显的温度过渡区域。  相似文献

为研究某城市某品牌电梯故障率发展趋势,建立了该城市该品牌电梯故障率的GM(1,1)灰色预测模型,并对所建模型进行了数据检验,检验结果表明该预测模型的预测精度波动较大。为了提高GM(1,1)灰色预测模型的预测精度,利用对模型进行数据检验时得到的残差序列,建立GM(1,1)灰色预测模型的残差修正模型,利用该残差修正模型对原预测模型进行修正。利用经残差修正模型修正后的故障率预测模型对该城市A品牌电梯的故障率进行预测,结果表明:1)残差修正模型对原模型修正后的相对误差与修正前相比有升也有降,但精度有所提高且趋于稳定,表明残差修正模型有利于提高预测精度;2)利用所建立的故障率预测模型求得的预测故障率与实际故障率相比,相对误差不超过8.010%,表明该故障率预测模型的预测精度较高;3)修正模型预测值表明,在现有状态下该城市A品牌电梯的故障率呈上升趋势,应加强该品牌电梯的检维修与管理。  相似文献

Objectives: During the past 2 decades, there have been large increases in mean horsepower and the mean horsepower-to–vehicle weight ratio for all types of new passenger vehicles in the United States. This study examined the relationship between travel speeds and vehicle power, defined as horsepower per 100 pounds of vehicle weight.

Methods: Speed cameras measured travel speeds and photographed license plates and drivers of passenger vehicles traveling on roadways in Northern Virginia during daytime off-peak hours in spring 2013. The driver licensing agencies in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia provided vehicle information numbers (VINs) by matching license plate numbers with vehicle registration records and provided the age, gender, and ZIP code of the registered owner(s). VINs were decoded to obtain the curb weight and horsepower of vehicles. The study focused on 26,659 observed vehicles for which information on horsepower was available and the observed age and gender of drivers matched vehicle registration records. Log-linear regression estimated the effects of vehicle power on mean travel speeds, and logistic regression estimated the effects of vehicle power on the likelihood of a vehicle traveling over the speed limit and more than 10 mph over the limit.

Results: After controlling for driver characteristics, speed limit, vehicle type, and traffic volume, a 1-unit increase in vehicle power was associated with a 0.7% increase in mean speed, a 2.7% increase in the likelihood of a vehicle exceeding the speed limit by any amount, and an 11.6% increase in the likelihood of a vehicle exceeding the limit by 10 mph. All of these increases were highly significant.

Conclusions: Speeding persists as a major factor in crashes in the United States. There are indications that travel speeds have increased in recent years. The current findings suggest the trend toward substantially more powerful vehicles may be contributing to higher speeds. Given the strong association between travel speed and crash risk and crash severity, this is cause for concern.  相似文献

喹啉和吡啶往往共存于实际废水中,本文通过构双极室MFC,以铁氰化钾为电子受体,对喹啉和吡啶在MFC中的降解以及产电性进行研究.结果表明,MFC的最大输出电压随着葡萄糖浓度的降低而降低,当喹啉和吡啶初始浓度均为500mg·L-1,葡萄糖浓度分别为1000、500、100mg·L-1时,最高输出电压逐渐降低,分别为606、537、354mV;最大体积功率密度为18.4、14.4和6.3W.m-3.当以等浓度500mg·L-1的喹啉和吡啶作混合燃料时,MFC的内阻超过1250Ω,最大体积功率密度为2.9W.m-3.周期结束时,COD的去除率达79%以上,喹啉和吡啶均可以完全去除,喹啉的降解速率明显高于吡啶.MFC可以利用喹啉和吡啶作为混合燃料,这为含喹啉和吡啶共存类实际废水的MFC处理提供了理论依据.  相似文献

目的通过失效物理手段得到温度加速寿命试验的失效机理突变点,节省试验样本,并为加速寿命试验的有效性提供保障。方法利用电子产品典型失效物理模型,在求解MOSFET器件激活能的基础上确定失效机理突变点,并开展失效物理分析,从微观分析的角度验证失效机理一致性判定方法的理论正确性和工程适用性。结果 MOSFET器件在温度低于240℃时,失效机理没有发生改变;温度高于240℃时,失效机理发生了改变,与前述失效机理不一致。结论基于失效物理的方法可以确定器件机理发生变化的温度应力点,所需样本量小。  相似文献

文章采用超声波在0.014W/mL、0.025W/mL、0.031W/mL、0.035W/mL四个声能密度水平下,作用时间在0~60min范围内对生活污水厂污泥进行处理。研究结果表明:在低声能密度下,超声波处理污泥45min可以使可溶性化学需氧量(SCOD)溶出率超过10%,同时可以使污泥中氨氮的含量降到5mg/L左右。  相似文献
